Pure Massage

This morning I could barely move due to neck pain that had increasingly worsened. I made an appt with June and was able to get in same day. Y’all. She. Is. Amazing. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage. She was so gentle but firm and went above and beyond to make me comfortable and make sure I felt better. She even had me sit down in the lobby and checked my neck tension. I left with full range of motion and the pain almost gone. Yes I’m sore. Yes a deep tissue massage will make you want to cry in some of the tense areas. But totally worth it. I will 100% be back!! Also. June is the nicest person on the planet.

Perhaps the best massage Ive ever had! After a long move and being new to the area I was in search of a good massage therapist. Jennifer worked out all the knots and I felt so much better than when I arrived. Im already looking forward to my next visit!

Whenever I post a review, it never saves, so here goes for a third time. Ive been an occasional customer to Pure Massage for around three years and while all of the therapists are terrific, I wanted to give a shout out to a newcomer therapist by the name of June. She is an amazing therapist utilizing her skills by applying the perfect amount of stimulation and pressure points to my aching body, in a unique yet most effective way. She has a full grasp of the bodys muscular skeletal system, its physiology and locomotion while utilizing special techniques with her hands, fingers and elbows to create a relaxing, yet energized experience. Her technique is especially beneficial in the reduction of stress and pain. Please thank June for me as she is an absolute treasure in the field of massage therapy. I started going to June on a weekly basis a few weeks ago and I have not regretted it. Not only is she welcoming and kind, but she has shown me ways to relieve my migraines without medication. Had an amazing 30 minutes deep tissue massage and a great experience with Jennifer.I can highly recommend this spa. It was worth it, me driving over 23miles. They literally secured a happy client. It was my first massage and I will say the cupping was amazing. However I asked for a deep tissue massage and felt like I was just getting a back rub. So for the price I paid for that was definitely not worth it. Also they didn’t even massage my arms at all. I asked do add more pressure (hence a deep tissue) and didn’t even get that. I probably would only go back for the cupping but that’s it.

Should be Zero Stars!I booked my wife a massage due to a 3 day migraine. I left a written message about her migraine and to ASK for target points to massage. I even explained to them on the phone the same thing and they CONFIRMED the notes.What went wrong?1. The door was left open during massage and ppl were walking by while she face down on the massage table.2. She was never asked what target points to hit.3. Hardly any work was done in the shoulder, arm or neck region at all.BUTshe did massage her lower back and spent a extreme amount of time on her left butt cheek saying I hope your migraine gets betterLAST TIME I CHECKED, MIGRAINES DONT STEM FROM A BUTT CHEEK!She left with the same upper body tension she came in with....except her left butt cheek felt great!

Update: booked an appointment for my husband. He showed up 5 minutes early, waited 20 minutes just to be told they were short staffed and no one was available to give him a massage. I understand being short staffed, but not communicating that ahead of time is frustrating. This place unfortunately lost our business for good.Went in for a couples massage and it was so wonderful! We left feeling completely relaxed! They were very communicative and kind! We will definitely be back ☺️

First time there and received the 60 min swedish couples massage so there were two ladies massaging in the room at once. They were talking a lot back and forth in the beginning which made it a little difficult to relax. But the massages were well done and left our bodies feeling more rejuvenated with less tension. Everyone was friendly and the environment was clean. It could be a little warmer in the rooms when youre lying naked under a sheet, though. Good experience overall.

I came here at the recommendation of the NP at Urgent Team. I was having severe back spasms.Saavik was kind, engaging and helped me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar setting.Without raving about his expertise with hot stone deep-tissue massage, let me say simply this... Im almost 60. Back spasms usually last a week for me, excruciating at first, then tapering off. I was at the peak of pain that morning, and was given muscle relaxers.The morning after Saavik expertly worked the tension out of my muscles, I woke up 100% pain-free. Not even a ghost of a twinge at the site.Took one muscle relaxer out of 20.

I had the hot stone deep tissue massage today! First time with the Hot Stone and it was amazing!! Jennifer was knowledgeable, sweet, and skilled. She hit all my problem areas and my soreness and tenderness was gone. The stones are pretty warm but you get used to it and plus she is very good about making it comfortable for you. The stone massage is a game changer. I have been missing out! I will surely be back! ❤️❤️❤️

Ugh! Terrible experience. I was visiting from out of town and called to say I would like to consider a massage for 2 people but wanted to check out the place first. We showed up and looked around and decided it wasnt up to our standards and politely said we did not want to get services. The lady showing us around had a language barrier while other employees just stared at us. We finally made it clear that we werent staying. A guy pops out of the back asking if there was an issue, we politely said no, we just dont want to have services. He starts to rudely tell me that we cant just book a service and then not pay and carried on and on. Rather than bantering with him we just left.Upon entrance to the door we see love seats covered with couch covers and wall to wall worn out carpet. Even the guy that was angry we werent staying was dressed inappropriately for a spa setting. He had some shorts with what appeared to be character socks. We sat in our car for a minute talking about what had just happened and he comes out front to smoke a cigarette! Eewww. Def not my vibe. An upgrade and polite staff may make this place much better.

She was very thorough in her work, and I left feeling more relaxed than I ever have after a massage. Alissa is amazing! I came in with a shoulder issue, and after a (somewhat intense) 30 minute session, my range of motion was greatly improved. I make a point to visit her every 2 or 3 weeks for neck, back and shoulder care. The prices are very reasonable, and the store is clean and professional. Alissa is without a doubt the best massage therapist Ive ever visited.

I have seen Allisa a few times now and she has been a life saver. I have really bad migraines and pain in my neck and shoulders and since I have started seeing her the pain has been minimal and I have been able to function so much better. She also introduced me to reflexology and I am hooked. She does a great job at explaining what she is doing and how it helps. My husband has also started seeing her and is really loving it too, and he normally hates getting any kind of massage. I highly recommend going in to see her. The prices are also amazing, especially for the great quality of the massage received.

If I could give Pure Massage no stars I would. The therapist completely ignored my scheduled time and kept moving me later and later (w/o my agreement) because another client came late. My appt was at 1. I received a call from Jennifer, the therapist, to arrive at 1:15 because of a late start w/another client. That was ok with me. I arrived at 1:15 and Jennifer was not there. I received 3 texts then. One, telling me to come at 2:15, one telling me to come at 1:35, and one to come at 1:50. None of these were agreed to be me. Get your act together Pure Massage. Judy Norris

I called over a week ahead to make an appointment, and the woman I spoke to on the phone got my information. I remember saying the date that I wanted my appointment for but I don’t think she heard me, or she didn’t pay attention. I got there a few minutes before my appointment (I already had the paperwork filled out) and was told by a man sitting in the lobby that they’d be about 10-15 minutes. I waited in my car because seating was limited. I came back in after 15 minutes and continued to wait while standing. After a while, I went back outside to wait. Finally after 45 minutes of waiting, I went in and there was a woman at the counter. I told her I had an appointment at 1030. She said I wasn’t on the books for today. I asked her if maybe it was written down for another date. She read off my phone number and said I was written down for the wrong Saturday. I asked for a refund because my husband bought me a gift certificate as a gift, and she gladly gave it to me. I’m annoyed that I wasted 45 minutes and that I had to wait in my car, but I’m very pleased with the customer service from the woman at the counter this morning. I probably won’t be back because of the woman who didn’t listen to me on the phone, but I respect the woman at the counter who listened, apologized and gave me a refund. I’m sure it would have been a professional and relaxing massage.

Always ontime. Very friendly, easy schedule online always get a confirmation by email. Now Im ready to get a goodnight sleep. You have to book to relax. Thank you Jenny 4 years and counting

The Chinese girl that answer the phone is soooo rude, and she dont know how to take a call. I use to go every two weeks with my daughter and I just called minutes ago to set an appointment for two same room and she said ok 5.30 and hang up on me. I called back and ask her did you hang up on me and she said yes cuz i took your call and we are so busy i can not talk more; i said to her you did not ask me what kind o massage i want to and she said yes massage for one person a give me a massage that did not ask for. I cancel the appointment and told her she was rude ; she called me back and i told her the same thing to her that i can not take her call because i was so busy. Definitely that girl need a customer service training . I am not going back to that place because that rude girl.

It was ok they said 70 for 1 hour deep tissue i get in and she starts on me then says o I forgot its 80 for deep tissue then when u pay girls standing there w her hand out almost demanding a tip never go back

Ive been to massage places all over the world. From Turkish bath houses to corner Oriental massage. Set the stage, I woke up the day after working in the field cutting down trees to side in clearing the field. My upper back and neck were in need of some professional help. Im sure that the therapist has been told by other clients what they like but question weather there is a certificate from a school that would be accredited. In all honesty I would have marked it back further but for once there were no interruptions as in other parlors. Would I go back? I dont really think I need to answer it, but no.

Jennifer did Chinese massage my first one .its different than swedish.incorperates stretching, pressure and some chopping techniques.id chopping technique definitely recommend it.
