I had my first facial ever yesterday from Barret and it was an amazing experience! He was so knowledgeable and I had such a relaxing facial with massage of shoulders/arms that left me with glowing skin. I would choose this over a full body massage any day. The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful! I look forward to coming back!

Kamille was absolutely wonderful! I asked for medium/firm massage and she did a great job. She was clearly very experienced and was able to provide the perfect massage for my stiff too-many-hours-at-a-desk shoulders and neck. I was very happy with this one time massage. I only wish I could have signed up to come back monthly, as I bet I’d be in a lot better shape if I did. Highly recommend!

I just had another fantastic massage! Tammy is so professional and takes time to really listen to where on my body Ive been having issues. She spent A LOT of time on my lower back and across my shoulders; I feel so much better today. I can hardly wait for my next massage. Thank you, Tammy!

After dealing with some significant back pain and muscle spasms, I got an appointment with Judd in Golden Valley. It was everything I needed and more. I was looking for a deep tissue, firm massage, and Judd delivered. He focused on the problem areas, and really worked out the knots to give me some relief and increased mobility. Best massage ever from Judd. So grateful!!

Ive been a loyal customer at Massage Envy solely because of Barrett, my facialist. He is, without a doubt, the best in the business! Barretts expertise, attention to detail, and genuine care for his clients set him apart from anyone else. Every session with him leaves my skin glowing and refreshed. This review is truly based on their policy - the staff are truly great, but miscommunication and confusion on the rescheduling cost me $215. I originally had an appt August 5th at 4:30pm. A couple days before my appt I received communication that my appointment is canceled on their end due to my massage therapist not able to accommodate, and of course I was bummed because I had to wait 2+ weeks for the first appointment, and then another week to schedule a time that would work for me again. They canceled and I rescheduled for what I thought was the exact same time just one week later. I got a phone call at 3:10 asking if I was coming in for my massage, but on all of my calendars I had down 4:30, my original appointment time. Thankfully I was able to be there at 3:30, but by the time I changed and the massage was over it was 50 mins and I was charged to full $215. I understand that the reschedule was probably me accidentally selecting the wrong time and not paying enough attention to the confirmation text (which came in early on a Saturday morning I wish it would’ve been closer to my appt time), but it’s an expensive mistake on my end, and massage envy is very firm in their policy and will not waver, even if you are a repeat loyal customer. I’ve been to this location before and the manager and Yan both times are truly so kind and offer great service. The manager offered me to come back at initial price, but I would hate for another situation like this to happened again where they have to cancel or the original price isn’t instated and I have to pay another $215 for a 90 min massage. I wish they would’ve worked with me and I totally would’ve payed the hour price since they had to cancel my initial appointment. I love this location and Yan is a great massage therapist, but there are a few local places that have just a bit better of a policy and are a bit cheaper as well

I had 4 VERY mediocre massages. Each therapist asked What can I do for you today? I told each therapist that I was there for a full body massage, including, hands and feet and abdomen. IF the hands and feet were done, it was simply sliding my hand/foot between their hands; fingers and toes and heels were ignored. None of the first 4 therapists did any abdominal massage. The second to the last massage therapist only did my back. I WAS VERY SURPRISED AND PLEASED WHEN TAMMY WAS MY FINAL THERAPIST. She asked the same question and I gave the same answer. She did a FULL BODY massage. None of the first 4 therapists indicated that they were uncomfortable with including what I requested. I called two area massage schools and they indicated that full body DID include hands and feet and abdomen. Massage envy is not cheap, even when you buy a package. Each time I was asked if I wanted to add a gratuity, which I would have done GLADLY if I had a full body massage. TAMMY IS NOT A 5, SHE IS AT LEAST A 9!!

Been to this location a couple times. Never seen Kamille before, but I’m so glad I did. It was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted and checked in throughout. I left feeling great and I will be back again!

I stopped into Massage Envy in Golden Valley and was paired with an EXCELLENT masseuse, Karen M. She listened to my needs, and sensitivities. She was kind, professional and ,most importantly, gave an excellent massage. They have several excellent masseuses. This is a friendly, relaxing location. I highly recommend.

Kamille was awesome! Her time working with a physical therapist really showed. I came in to have work done on my back vs. the relaxing massage many people get. She came through for sure!Also with noting was the front office staff. They were very professional and helped answer all of my questions.

Amazing! As a fitness instructor and dancer my knee and feet needed some TLC! So much better as a result! 1x per month sets me up for the rest of the month! Joshua was the best I have had thus far.

Tammy was fantastic. They were very thorough, listened to my concerns and offered some things I could do on my own to stretch and strengthen to try and avoid the tightness issues I have been having. Very professional. I made another appointment as soon as I got home and checked my calendar.

I’ve been going to this location for a few years now. Josh is incredible at his job. As someone with chronic back pain, I appreciate how he takes the time to talk about what is needed and helps work on those areas!

I have been happy with the service I receive at this location. Judd is my go to therapist for last year. Appreciate his talent and listening skills for where my issues are.

Misleading information: I spoke to an employee who assured me that I just needed to book all of my massages from my membership before the expiration date, but the massage itself could be at any time. I believed her and she helped schedule the last three massages in my account. Then when I went to get my massage I was told that I would have to pay the full amount and that they would not accept any of my credits.I tried to work with the Vadnais Heights office to get my credits released (I called for a manager three times and they never called me back). Then I was informed that I would not be able to book at this location again even though it was their employee who assured me I would be able to use the credit.All around, I would suggest never signing up for a massage envy membership. The different locations do not work well together and this cause lots of miscommunication that no one is willing to take responsibility for.

Tremaine is just the best…….kind, thorough and knows how to work my body so I’m always feeling way better than when I came into ME. So glad I found him!!

Bob was like a knowledgeable mechanic. Spent time where it was needed. Didn’t force anything that was too rusty. Got me back on the road running much smoother. Great massage therapist👍🏻

First time with Shavonda and let me say, it was amazing!! She focused on areas I did not even know that needed love! She really knows what she is doing! They have the best front of house receptionists Natalie and Lois, they always know how to make my day too!

Yan does a wonderful massage. I went in for relaxation to help with stress and anxiety, and a medium pressure massage. The experience was what I hoped for. Yan isolated a couple of knotted up spots in my shoulder blades and checked in with me when going a bit deeper to help the areas release. I left feeling good. Thank you!

Always a good relaxing massage.Professional, not awkward, clean and good at releaving knots in mussels.Only issue I have is company policies... Policy is to charge customers for banked up sessions. Dominique is the best masseuse I have ever had. She gets all of my bad knots out. My neck, shoulders and upper back are all very tight and she is the only massage therapist I have ever worked with who has been able to alleviate my symptoms.

I really enjoyed my massage. I just was disappointed that my time was cut short. I arrived early and was only allotted 50 minutes. I could tell it was not a full 60 minutes. I wish they would advertise 50 minutes vs 60 minute massages.

Niko was great! Very accommodating and reads the room well and can tell if you are wanting to socialize or just relax would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great experience!

Joshua is indeed a specialist in acupressure massage, target area massage and goes above and beyond in awareness and individual comfort during the massage and room ambiance. Because of him I consistently buy a 90 minute vs an hour therapy.

This location has an upcharge if you are not paying the current full price membership fee. If you have been with Massage Envy as a customer for as long as I have and are paying less than the current membership monthly fee, beware. The Minnetonka location is amazing and does not have an upcharge BTW.

I have had my membership for approx. 12 years and have always been fairly pleased with it until recently. The price just jumped up about $15/mo. That is a huge increase and with how difficult it is to find an appointment, I’m reevaluating if it’s really worth it. They ask for reviews, but if there is an issue, it is passed on to the facility you have the issue with and not really “customer service”, do to it being a franchise. Very inconsistent between locations which makes things difficult. If you end your membership, remember you will lose any remaining credits on your account even though they have already been paid for unless you are able to use them immediately. Good luck with booking those!

I have been utilizing massage therapy since 2016 to help my body feel better. Michael was phenomenal and really helped all of my tense muscles relax. I felt so much better after my session with him! He is an expert and knows how to help those trouble spots, especially the neck!

I have been a Massage Envy member for 10 years. With that decade of loyalty, Ive been grandfathered in at a monthly membership rate. However, upon arrival at this location, I was informed I would need to pay the difference ($15) since my membership amount is less than this locations. No other M.E. location in the Twin Cities does this. I pay a monthly membership fee to use sessions so in order to go to Golden Valley specifically, I need to pay more? No, thank you. Since they did not inform me of this prior to, it was waived. Its also interesting that my significant other goes to this location and hasnt been asked to pay the difference (his membership rate is NOT $80 either). His home location is Bloomington and mine is Edina. Home location just means where you originally signed up to be a member. I appreciate Natalie at the front desk handling this, as the other front desk gals were not helpful. I saw AshLee for my session despite this issue and she was AMAZING! So skilled and intentional in her massage - she is fantastic! It is a shame I will not be returning to this location. If youre a new member at Golden Valley and paying $80 per month, I highly recommend AshLee. However, if youre considering signing up as a member, go to ANY other location. You can also change your home location 😉 After 10+ years as a member, you would think they would take care of you. Instead, they claim to lose money if they accept sessions I have paid for at a lower rate, so I will support other locations that take care of their long-standing customers.

SCAM ALERT:I tried cancelling my massage subscription several times which was nothing but a headache as they try to get you not to cancel.They finally convinced me to use their $20 freeze service, where you pay less but no longer gain credits.Fast forward 2+ years and I notice I am paying full price again.I guess they forgot to mention that freeze is only good for 6 months.Now I am out of pocket $1000+ extra (with 30+ unused credits) and they refuse to do anything about it.Go somewhere else that isnt trying to scam you for your money.Massages were mid at best.

I’ve been seeing Tremain at this location for over a year now and I couldn’t recommend him enough. His humor and kind demeanor immediately put you at ease and really aids in such a relaxing experience. I leave each session feeling better not only physically, but mentally as well!

Miko is amazing with neck and shoulder work. Highly recommend. Also I love Natalie at the front desk. She always remembers me, and she’s so nice.

Michael was outstanding! He remembered everything I told him before the session regarding pressure and problem areas. He completely worked out deeply embedded tension that other massage therapists have not seemed able to do.

Karen is wonderful. This was my first massage from her and was very knowledgeable about my neck knots. She gave me exercises to help with tightness. Definitely putting her in my therapist rotation 😀

Robert (or Bob as I call him 😁) is the best. Ive been getting massages for over 20 years and hes one of my all-time favorite therapists! My only complaint is hes too popular so its hard to get an appointment time with him, but definitely well worth it

I’ve been to this facility twice now to see Gayle. You can quickly tell during your consultation that she is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in her craft. I’ve had both a facial and a microdermabrasion with her. During both sessions, she took the time to go over my needs and guide me to what I needed vs what I thought I did in regards to upgrades and products and she was right! I deeply appreciate providers who demonstrate integrity and take care of you from start to finish. She’s a gem!

Ive only had two massages by two different massage therapists but so far each has been great. Which type of massage and the amount of pressure seems to be the determining factor of who you get to choose to do your massage. Staff are very friendly as is the environment. Great location in Golden Valley. If you plan on getting more than one massage (at least once a month) its advisable to sign up for their rewards program. Really a win-win for all, and affordable as well.

Josh is great! He was recommended by a friend and he was spot on. I like deep tissue and he really worked me over. He always asks if I was okay with he pressure. Very considerate.

Just a terrible place and business model. I should have known when I signed up when the said I would need a doctors note to cancel my membership. I lost my job 6 months ago and could not afford that expense. I have called them many times but they keep charging me for a service I have not used in many months. I am happy for the people that enjoy this place of business but dont ever try to cancel, because they wont let you.

By far THE best massage if you need deep pressure. I want to walk out of a massage session feeling bruised and sore. I got exactly that. It’s so hard to find therapists who offer deep pressure so I’m glad Josh has joined the ME team.

DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Ok staff but terrible front desk service. I called to schedule 2 facials for myself and my daughter and said I would be using a vouchers for both.After the appointment, the front desk said that the vouchers were only going to cover part of the cost and that I still owed $50+ for the appointments. I had to read the voucher several times TO the front desk staff. She insisted that I needed to pay, tried to call her manager, couldn’t figure it out, and she eventually told me not to worry and that she would sort it out. She kept me at the desk for 20 minutes!! (Mg daughter said I was too nice and we should have just walked out!) We finally did leave.Then, 5 minutes later, the front desk calls me and says I owe the spa $50. I said the 2 vouchers clearly state “good for a 60 min facial” so what do I owe? She (again) said she wasn’t sure but would talk to her manager. It was not a relaxing experience.

Josh was great. His massage should be the standard for all massages that cost over $100. The front desk people were great also. We love this location.

I have been seeing Bob for 2 years and can honestly say he’s the best massage therapist I’ve had. He knows his stuff and has helped me thru injuries/ surgeries/ and what a dr called an untreatable diagnosis which is now well managed without meds! Hero status!

Awful customer service! I am a member and still receive poor customer service!! I have been going to massage envys for a few years and will be canceling when my contract is up. I had forgotten about an appointment and realized 5 min after it had started, I called to see if I could push it back out reschedule and they said I could reschedule it but that they had to charge me $70 for not showing up. I then asked if I could still come in and just have a shorter massage if I was still paying and they said I could buy that I would only be massage for 15-20min. I have had over 6 massages canceled in me because of complications on the companies end and had others end 5 minutes early. When I called to speak to a manager he was not in and they said he would call me back, but the manager never did.

I just went here for the first time yesterday and Robert was my masseuse. I thought that they were taking every precaution to keep clients safe during the pandemic and everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. Robert was phenomenal at what he does and really took the time and care to make sure I got the most out of my appointment and made sure to take my comfort and safety into consideration. Robert even explained a lot of things and answered all of my many questions. Top notch service all around and I will most certainly be back again! Still feeling rested and relaxed today! I did see some comments about being pitched a membership for future visits and this being a negative experience. I was gently pitched a membership, but in to way did I feel overly pressured or put on the spot and I was able to say I was not ready to sign up today and that was the end of the conversation. I have worked many places where actively encouraging memberships or services was part of the job, and this seemed to different. Totally respectful and I am interested in the membership I just can not bank on my economic stability so am unable to commit at the moment. Again all around top notch service from everyone, and that is the only reason I am taking the time to write a review! Thank you Robert and thank you to all the helpful staff.

I love my facials with Gayle. She talks about every step in my facial and answers my questions and concerns. Im always comfortable throughout the appt and my skin feels amazing after.

Miko was fantastic, great pressure and found the problem spots before I could even tell him. Im one who likes to talk and joke, and he has a great sense of humor.

Pros: Excellent assisted stretching service provided by Michael. Unfortunately he is only 1 of 2 staff trained in this so availability is limited, despite the fact that the front desk advised me when I signed up that they set aside regular appointments for members. That leads me to the extensive list of CONS...inadequately trained front desk staff that are unfamiliar with membership details and costs and have misled me 3 times with misinformation. I am now stuck with a 12-month membership that I was told was a month-to-month membership. Overall this franchise lacks attention to detail, basic customer service skills, organization, and training.

Its been very frustrating trying to make an appointment. My husband got me a gift package for my birthday back in June. Due to lack of staffing I havent been able to make 1 yet. This is So understandable with everything thats going on! Still frustrating non the less. Tonight I was able to talk to the manager, La Toya(?). She was Very helpful and professional! I think she deserves a raise for all of the frustrated people out there that she has to deal with on a daily basis!

Great customer service and great massage! I was able to schedule same day which was so helpful for my busy schedule. Sonya did an incredible job working out the knots in my back and used the perfect amount of pressure. Loved the ambiance of the spa. Ill definitely schedule again!

First of all, Ive been a member for several years now. The front desk staff have been mostly wonderful and accommodating, the massage therapists are great (I see Pam regularly), and Ive had one or 2 facials. With the current price increase, I can no longer afford my membership and its been more and more difficult to schedule with my preferred therapist, so I have been trying for 1 month now to cancel membership. I was told it takes 10 days to process, so I made my first inquiry Dec 29, 2021, and was told I needed to speak with the manager and left my name and number. I did not receive a call, so I called again on Jan 12, 2022. The manager again was not available, so I left another message. Called again on Jan 13--still no manager, but the staff member took my email address and said she would email me the forms. Fast forward to Jan. 17 and I called again and was put on hold. Waited for about 10 minutes and finally spoke with the manager who said she emailed me the forms and didnt receive my request yet. I never received the cancellation form--even checked my spam folder--so the manager said she would go ahead and process my cancellation. Ok, good. I also got a call from Kevin the owner a few minutes after my call with the manager. I told him that the manager took care of everything. Well, its Jan 29, 2022, and my credit card has been charged again for another month. I called and spoke with a very helpful staff member who said that my cancellation never went through, so she said that the manager would call me as soon as she gets to work today. I did ask if I have an email on file and was told that I do not. How could the manager or anyone else have emailed me if I have no email on file? I could continue with more details, but Im too angry at this point. Stay away from membership. Its a nasty trap.

Miko is a great listener and adjusts his technique, routine, and pressure based on my feedback. Its a totally customized massage.

The last 3 times I called this location they have scheduled me THEN called me back saying somebody else had already scheduled the same appointment online... a lil more than weird to me. Im never calling back again.

Ive been going to the Golden Valley Message Envy for almost a year now and I always try to book with Yan. I workout at least 5 times a week and I used to get knots in my back all the time. Yan puts in A LOT of work on my back and neck and Ive never felt better. Thanks Yan!

Most of the massage therapists are good. The estheticians are wonderful- can’t go wrong with any of them! The manager is not nice or helpful. She also goes against the whole essence of Massage Envy and will only let Golden Valley members go there for massages. Kevin is the owner and he is awful.

Massage envy overall is kinda a scam. I started off in Minnetonka and they charged my mom for 2 years despite her not using a single massage. She transferred them to me (over 200$ worth of transferring fees btw) and all went well until they started canceling. They canceled 2 or 3 times in a few months and refused to let me reschedule, saying they were booked. I switched over here hoping it would be different and today they told me 30 min before my appointment, when I was getting ready, that it was canceled. They said I couldn’t book another one for a month. Not just with her but with any deep tissue therapist. In addition I have too many massages to cancel as you have to use all of them within 60 days. I’m very disappointed by this. I understand people get sick but then don’t fill up their schedules as much. They also didn’t even seem to care when I explained it to them. Just overall not worth the 60$ a month. Do yourself a favor and go to something like Elements Massage.

Ive never had a bad experience at the Golden Valley location, they have a wonderful selection of massage therapists. And their desk staff does an amazing job of recommending a therapist if you cant see your usual one. A wonderful group of employees all around!

If I could, I would give it 10*. From making the appointment to leaving the place, it was an extremely pleasant experience. I took my mom and dad in for a massage with Emanuel and Sammie, and according to my parents, they hit all of the right spots and loosened all of the tight knots. The masseuse knew what they were doing and worked on the troubled areas. Highly recommend this place because of the friendly staff and expert masseuses.

When I was pregnant over two years ago, I was having a lot of back pain, neck pain and headaches. I found myself at massage envy looking for comfort and relief of my pain. It turned out that massages are of course more reasonably priced if you buy the membership, and I figured I had a ways to go in my pregnancy so I signed up for 6 months of massages to basically get me through the remaining 6 months of my pregnancy. After I gave birth, I was looking through my credit card statement and realized that massage envy had still been taking out recurring payments from my account, 3 months beyond the contract I thought I had signed up for. I immediately called and they told me that yes, that is typically their policy, and that you actually have to physically go in and sign paperwork to discontinue services otherwise they will continue charging you indefinitely. At that point, I was MAD because nobody told me that when I signed up! That would have been good information to know! What a sneaky and dishonest way to run a business! She did mention that “the good news is, you can still use the 3 massages you have paid for.” I thought to myself “yeah well I’m a full-time working mom with a newborn...definitely won’t have time for a massage anytime soon.” But I didn’t fight it too hard because I knew I would use them at some point in my future.Fast forward two years later and I’m pregnant again. This time, I’m having neck pain and headaches so I return to massage envy use my saved up massages to have this addressed. The person on the phone at massage envy VERIFIES that I have 3 massages, and proceeds to schedule me for an appointment. The massage ended up being a total disappointment. I told her that my pain was in my neck and shoulders, and she lightly massaged my low back the entire time. I walked out of there in a panic, wondering where I would go next to have my neck pain addressed. As I’m walking out to my car, the receptionist comes running out to tell me that I didn’t pay for my massage (I tipped the lady in cash and walked out). It turns out, the 3 massages that I had from years ago had expired and I owed them for a full massage!!! I was so mad at that point I could barely see straight. I basically asked him to have his manager call me to discuss this further. I spoke with the manager the following day and apparently there was nothing they could do to help me. They weren’t apologetic for the experience I had, and basically told me to read the fine print next time.This was a huge lesson learned for me, in that I cannot trust businesses to be upfront and honest. This is quite disheartening given that I went to massage envy during a time of vulnerability and need, only for them to take advantage of me. Never again massage envy.

Bob always does an amazing job!

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. I was very disappointed with the customer service she received. The morning of the massage, she called to ask to reschedule, which she was told she could do. Then 10 minutes before the original massage time, she received a call saying she would be charged $50 because they could not fill her slot. While I understand why there would be a fee, what irks me is that when she was on the phone that morning with an employee, it was never stated that there could be a $50 fee. This seems like a pretty important detail not to mention and is part of what makes this experience so frustrating. Back to the story; after my wife got the call that she would be charged $50 just 10 minutes before her original 1:30 slot, she quickly rearranged her day and raced there to get her massage since she didnt want to be charged $50 for nothing. She arrived 10 minutes late, got the massage (which she said was good, but she was understandably a bit frazzled from racing around), and then when she was leaving, she received the second piece of frustrating news. She was told by the receptionist that since she was late, she would be charged a $25 fee. This really bothered me. Calling 10 minutes before does not give a person sufficient time to make the appointment, so you are essentially guaranteeing either a $50 cancellation fee or at least a $25 late fee in addition to the cost of the massage. Again the $25 late fee was not stated in the phone call 10 minutes before the massage. This is terrible communication and I feel like the overall experience was highly manipulative. Instead of a relaxing and restorative, my wife was left in the dark on policies (this was only her second visit so she was relatively new to this), rushed, and left frustrated with additional fees. All this could have been avoided with clear communication starting that morning. Please do better in the future for other customers. She will not be returning.

This was my 1st ever massage and I got Miko. His pressure was great and it was a okay massage, but I wish he would have spent more time on an area, I paid for an hour and only got 45 minutes.

Bring back old pricing and I would start my membership again

I highly recommend this location of Massage Envy. In particular my favorite massage therapist is Bob, but I have had massages from many other therapists and theyre all great! I also want to specifically shout out management. They have been helping me deal with a problem caused by my old location and they have been very helpful and have gone above and beyond for me!

I have been coming to this location for massages for the last six months, always a phenominal experience! The massage therapists are very professional and give great feedback. The staff up front that do the scheduling are always pleasant and easy to deal with. I would recommend Massage Envy and the Golden Valley location in particular!

I am extremely disappointed with this location. I made reservations for a massage for my husband and I for his birthday a week in advance. Unfortunately during that week my credit card had fraud on it and needed to be changed. They were unable to process the payment and cancelled my appointment without ANY notice. When I called to confirm the appointment they were NOT helpful, accommodating or even apologetic! They were calling the wrong number and the receptionist read the message that was supposedly sent to me no where in the message did it say that the appointments would be cancelled. It is extremely unprofessional and unfair that they cancel these appointments without any notice for something that is not of fault to the customer, especially on a day like today- someones birthday! If I didnt have so many unused services racked up this is absolutely something that would cause me to cancel my subscription and look elsewhere. Terrible service.

Miko used just the right amount of pressure and did so without conversation other than to check in on how I was doing. Much appreciated.

I scheduled a massage for 8/27 via the app. When I arrived, neither the front desk team member nor the massage therapist were masked. I asked if my therapist was vaccinated; she was not. I said I can’t get the massage then. The manager said this meant I would be fully charged despite the fact that there is no communication on the app or otherwise about safety. With the Delta surge, this is an irresponsible approach for a company that is supposedly about wellness and corporate should do a better job with protocols for franchisees.

Tan gave me my first ever massage, and it honestly got all of my knots from sleeping wrong out! I no longer have pain when I turn my head!

DO NOT PURCHASE MEMBERSHIPS FROM THIS LOCATION!!! I feel horrible writing a negative review. However, it is very apparent that their staff have a membership goal to meet, and customer service is secondary to hitting that goal. I have also been into several Massage Envy locations, and have never experienced anything close to this. Though there are numerous fine print details regarding their memberships, I would not have had a problem going to Golden Valley as their massage therapists and estheticians are great! However, after dealing with two different concerns regarding my membership, their center manager Annie and another associate have made me feel so uncomfortable that I will not go back to their location. Once you are a member spending $400 or more, in my experience, they could care less how you are treated. Make sure you are ok with the following:-There is an automatic renewal to memberships! If you want to cancel and do not let them know before it renews, you are locked into another 6 month or annual contract, no exceptions-If there are ANY issues that would make you want to cancel a membership, you are not able to until your contract is up (6-12 months). This includes poor customer service to their patrons at the front desk-If you miss a reservation due to work, children, or even a death in the family, that counts as your monthly visit. If you call and were unaware of this (fine print again), you are almost scolded by their staffAgain, I feel awful writing this, but I am extremely turned off by how this location handles itself. All these stipulations are fine, but this staff has no problem with embarrassing and scolding their patrons in front of other people, either in the lobby or over the phone. LOOK INTO ANY OTHER LOCATION FOR PURCHASING MEMBERSHIPS!

I have had great experiences as a client and employee here. The owner and management are always accommodating to RELIABLE employees. Below is my original review as a member.I have been a member at this location since 2013 and absolutely love the massages and facials! I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in from the receptionists to the therapists. I try to get in at least once a month for a massage and/or facial. Menuka is amazing, everyone always comments with how great my skin looks! I highly recommend this location!

The costumer service is awful. I got a gift card for my birthday from my hysband and the intention was to relax but I just got more stress and I couldnt relax at all during my massage session. I only remembered that my massage was scheduled at 2.15 pm, I was getting ready for it, when they called me saying that I missed my strech session that was scheduled at 1.30 pm. Thanks a lot!! They called me after the fact but never to remind me about it, the person said that she called me and left a message which is not true! Plus telling me that I lost my money and its the policy! What policy is that when they never tell you that when you make an appointment. They got paid for free! No service offered! Waste of money! Waste of time!

The neck massage was the best part. A lot of tension removed. Miko knows his stuff!

Dear possible members:Please save yourself a world of money, time and hidden fees by NOT signing up. There’s often no available massage therapist once you become a member and often hidden up charge. Once you sign up you are met with a “hotel California” vibe of never leaving. What a horrible nightmare it has been to work with this company as a customer. Don’t do it. Visit a spa salon.

Excellent service and friendly staff --- but PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING. Very deceiving corporation that sucks you into a 12 month membership you cannot cancel unless you move 25 miles away from the nearest location (which is impossible in the Twin Cities) or you have a written doctor note that you cannot physically receive massages due to a medical issue.I asked what the cancellation policy was upon signing up and they told me a 30-day written notice. I take 100% blame for not reading the fine print on the contract, but the words they use to sell you on the monthly membership sucks you into an agreement you may not realizing youre signing up for.If you are OKAY with pay $65 a month (after taxes) for 12 months with no way to cancel, I highly recommend the Golden Valley location, but please be aware of what youre signing up. They give you a wonderful first massage for $39 and once you are relaxed and happy, they work their magic. You cant even cancel if you arent happy with your massages so youre just basically throwing money away.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP. You might be tempted, but under no circumstances should you do it. Its jumping through hoops to cancel and the managers at this location in particular are not true to their word. I froze my membership due to safety concerns during Covid and was told that I would receive a call before my account was reactivated. Never got a call before they started charging again. Then, when I did fully cancel, they dont want to stick to the written terms of the cancellation agreement, which state that you have 60 days to use accrued benefits. Instead she said my account is totally inactive and I cant use any more unless I reactivate, even though their written policies state differently. Unclear communication, they pick and choose their policies to suit themselves, horrific customer service. Avoid at all costs.

The food was fantastic as always! We ordered on new years eve. It was very busy we called in our order at 4:30 and they let us know that it wouldnt be ready until 7 p.m. and I told them that was fine because I remembered from the year before that it took that long. Even though they were super busy everything was done to perfection I had a recommended it.

I’m leery to post this due to his schedule already being booked solid most of the time, but Tremaine at the Golden Valley location is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever hadDue to arthritis in my neck I have chronic ongoing tension in my neck and shoulders and regular visits to him keep everything working with as little pain as possible
