Montclair Smoke and Mirrors

I bought the 420 pipe cleaner here and it turned out to be expired. I had no experience with pipe cleaning fluids at the time so I thought it was supposed to look all messed up. Without realizing it was expired I put it into my pipe to clean it and proceeded to hit it a couple of times which was when I realized something was wrong. When I brought the pipe cleaner back into Cali and showed Jason he didn’t care that I had potentially breathed in toxic fumes and just offered to give me another expired bottle of pipe cleaner. This smoke shop is run entirely by two faced short dudes who drink on the job most of the time or allow interlopers off the streets to harass their customers, do yourself a favor and AVOID this smoke shop! Save your money! The smoke shop on Valley Road isn’t too far away, you won’t get swindled and their selection is superior to any overpriced garbage you’d buy at Cali Kulture

The worst experience and service I ever had going into a head shop the guy with two piercings on his lip was more concerned about flirting with a girl then helping me then continued being rude for no reason. The reason why I’m saying he’s rude is because there was hostility in his voice and was trying to argue with me for no reason just because I said that another head shop did not have a wide selection of other pieces. Owner really needs to let him go your going to lose all your customers because of him.

Overcharged me for 2 cigars, a plastic cutter, and a lighter. I can get the same cigars for $8 a piece at Shop Rite, he charged me $60 for a cheap plastic cutter, a poorly functioning torch lighter and old stale cigars that seem like they have no humidity control whatsoever. Completely no thought process to calculating the price he is going to charge. Will never go back here. I will go to Shop Rite and get fresh cigars for the RIGHT price. This guy thinks people dont know how much cigars cost and I just walked in off the street to smoke a cigar with my father for the first time. Thats not how you do business. Treat people well and dont overcharge them and you will get repeat business.

The guy working at the counter was so high, he overcharged me and didnt even tell me. I only found out by checking my bank account. When I called to get a refund he was still so out of it and wasnt thorough.

Good selection of vape products (nicotine, CBD, and Delta-8) with friendly/helpful staff. The only problem is it isn’t always open during the store hours advertised. Make sure you call ahead to ensure that someone is there! No answer = no one at the shop. It is now noon on a Friday, and I’m still waiting for them to open 😂

This shop owner know what he is doing. This is a very well ran shop. The owner is beyond helpful and is more than friendly. He helps explain everything and seems to enjoy his job. I highly recomend for people to give this shop a try. It stands out from all of the other shops in montclair. Keep doing what your doing!!

Smoke and Mirrors has EVERYTHING. They have so many good products but I’ll stick to my faves... I love their CBD bath bombs, they smell so good and make baths that much cozier. If you smoke in the house (or even if you don’t) they have these candles that make your house smell like a tropical paradise. I got an EZ splitter from them, super useful and hooks right on my keys. I got a Brass Knuckles battery pen and a CBD cart recently and I love it, it has great battery life. All their CBD and hemp products are reasonably priced for Montclair and in general. They have gummies, lollipops, and doggy treats, literally anything you can think of. Sometimes they have Free hookah tasting which is an awesome way to try new and different flavors. Their staff is also very knowledgeable, and the products they suggest are always good quality, they don’t bs you.They sometimes give away samples and stickers. I also like how organized they are compared to other smoke shops in town, they have a section for everything. Overall a great place for ANY and ALL your smoking needs.

The dark skin stocky guy working there is extremely professional and is a perfect employee . I didnt even know him and he acted as if I was his family member . Respect

It would be smart to say if you will be closed at a certain time for lunch everyday. Not about to sit around waiting on a store to open up.

Never answer the Phone, Dont know when they are Opened or Closed customer Service Sucks and Website is not up to Date with inventory
