Went in for a mani/pedi with my daughter. I was given Henry to do my nails. During the pedicure, he dug into both of my big toes so hard, it brought tears to my eyes. One toe started to bleed immediately. Didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home. Went back to notify the manager and provide pictures. Was told the owners would be notified and I would be contacted about next steps. After 10 days, I messaged the manager back only to learn no refund would be provided. I’ve had to cover my toes for 2 weeks because of the damage. Buyer beware!!

Husband and I were able to walk in. Very clean and relaxing place..They discourage kids and cellphones so Im all in for that. Michael was my aesthetician and he was very gentle and funny to boot. I didnt catch the name of my husbands pedicurist but she was lovely. Will definitely be back. I highly recommend the Coconut Pedicure..The collagen foot mask is incredible.

Had a gift card and the guy who did my nails said the balance was zero so I took it to the girl at the desk and asked her to check the balance on the gift card and she told me there was 89$ on it immediately after telling her I wanted to re check the balance before using cash . After she took my cash she then told me she couldnt run the gift card and give me my dash back. Which is wild. I told the guy that it was a gift card and not a credit card. I dont even like my nails. She was unable to do French or understand my shape.

Services are hit and miss. I have had really great experiences and then, like today, I have not so great experiences. The techs I requested for today weren’t available so someone new is what I got. I would say today’s pedicure was not worth the $47 I paid. For $47 I would expect not to have to go home and clean up my toes because the tech neglected to take any pride in his job and take the time and care to make sure my toes looked nice before I left. I shouldn’t have to verbalize every single step of the process, if that was the case I’d just do it myself. So sad Mandy nor Tammy was available today! I would’ve left happy.

My daughter and I both were disappointed for the services provided. Neither of us had ever been here before and received Queen for a Day. Because your name says Day Spa, we expected a true, day spa. This is not that!Our massage area was in a back room, and you could here loud noises & banging noises, not a relaxing, quiet massage. The facials were subpar and not like any facial Ive ever received at my typical go to businesses. My daughters never had one & she didnt care for hers either, which is a shame that her 1st one was not good. I dont remember which person, but she kept pulling her hair, not acceptable! The better part of our services, the mani & pedi, however, I had to come back 45 min later because she forgot to put topcoat on my gel nails, which cost me extra time.

My friend and I walked in around 9am and we were greeted immediately. The front desk staff were cheerful and friendly. We waited about 5 minutes and were taken back to the pedicure area. Andrew was amazing! We drank our mimosas and sat there for 75 minutes just enjoying the spoils of how quiet and moody it was inside. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Very relaxing atmosphere with a plethora of services; The coconut pedicure was sublime; Mr T did an amazing job on my spooky cute Halloween glow in the dark nails & fall pedicure.. and was also informative with regards to nail care! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been here a few times and it’s hit or miss. They have so many employees you get a random person everytime. Half the time they are horrible at nails. The pictures are after they fixed them and they still are extremely sloppy and not what I asked for. I asked for longer thinner nails multiple times. They lie and try and sell you more. They price is insane this mess cost $76 . They do not do refunds and this was the “fixed” nails. I would not waste your money, looks like a nice place but they rush and produce sloppy nails. We have started to go to the place across to street.

I spent $75 just to have my nails and toes look like this. They want to charge me to fix them. Absolutely horrible job I will never drop another dime in this chop shop!

I’ve been coming here for years and just today had a bad pedicure. The girl was about 10 min or longer late so sat there waiting it seemed forever, then had a lame service ., she was focused on chatting with the girl next to her more than she was servicing my toes, then wanted to argue with me about not wanting gel nails which is an outrageous amount of an up sale, and guess what it shouldn’t cost an extra $20 for gel that is a ridiculous amount to up sell and they make nail products better these days and you can use a quick dry top coat that will keep your nails looking great for a long time! And I wanted her to paint my toes with my sandles on which she refused to do and telling me some stupid reason as to why she couldn’t do it. It’s really sad that I had this experience and not sure if I’ll go back I’m tired of them trying to up sell me on things that are truly unnecessary.

Enjoyed going to Azulene, both Gainesville and Ocala locations for years now. Never had an issue that they would not take care. Have spent hundreds and referred many people. Last Wed I received a pedi and 6 days later, the gel fell off one of my nails. Apparently they only guarantee their gel polish for 3 days. I could understand if I was calling 2 -3 weeks later...but 6 days...? They say its supposed to last 2-4 weeks. This is sad theyve lost my business over 1 nail that I gave them a chance to fix. Sad.

Since finding Azulene Nails I have always been pleased with the service here. Microblading and lip liner are really beautiful!

I’m a big fan of my nails and it is certainly always been well taken care of here. I also recommend Swedish massage here, distress completely and recover your energy !

Has a very upscale feel without being too pretentious. It’s welcoming and extremely clean and well maintained. They no longer do hair but all other services are available. Optional wine or champagne is available at an additional charge. Very friendly staff that treats you like top priority.

This spa is definitely a hidden gem. I would recommend absolutely everyone and anyone to this spa. I went for a massage, and it was phenomenal! The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The price is great too. I selected the 30-minute swedish deep tissue body massage for $45. The prices are very good and fair. They made me feel so comfortable. They asked me all the important questions that needed to be asked. They made sure that I was comfortable, and I appreciated that more than anything. I wanted a male masseur. My masseur name was Raul. He was amazing. I was so relaxed, and he worked out every tension. This place is Top tier 10/10. I will be going again!

My friend and I went to Azulene for pedicures as a birthday gift for her. We chose the coconut pedi, she had gel polish which was a $20 up charge. I got regular polish. The pedi was okay, but was not the amount of time as advertised. We were rushed out of the chairs and told there were other customers waiting. Our techs followed me to the kiosk to pay and watched me as I paid. They made sure to tell me to add a tip which I thought was rude. I always tip well, I don’t need to be pressured to do so. My friend’s gel polish came off within an hour of leaving. My regular polish is chipping off all toes after a week. The two pedis were $200 with tip. I feel like that is excessive when the polish does not last and we did not get the advertised time or treatment. I will not be back. Very disappointed.

I called to see if they could do a polish change only because I recently broke my knee, and am limited with mobility. They had me come in at my convenience , did a beautiful job, and were super accommodating. I will definitely be back.

Luckily for me when I went to Azulene Nails, my nails are very thin so it is easy to damage when putting on fake nails. But this salon made the installation very easy for me and of course without any consequences. Thanks a lot.

My time is important too. Appt was canceled when I walked in asked to sign in, then they were like “oh by the way the appt had to be canceled.” 😠 Very poor, unprofessional service, it’s not the first time I walk out for poor service . Not my go to place, by all means, I was gifted a gift certificate that I need to use before I loose it because they won’t give money back for it .

Mr. T is the best pedicure person I have ever had. He can give a foot massage that puts you to sleep your so relaxed. Super professional place. A must to visit.

This is a testimony from my wife:I have been going to azulene for approximately 4 years. I have referred multiple friends here and have always been very happy with my services and the environment. Today I had an appointment booked with a friend to get pedicures. Julie, my pedicurist, sits down to do my pedicure and tells me 5 times I should consider gel instead of regular polish - I decline every time and say I just want regular. She makes the entire pedicure feel rushed, my feet never get to soak and get soft enough to remove any callus. She rushes me to leave the chair at the end of my service - I asked if I can wait until my friend’s pedicure was finished and she said no. My feet felt the exact same as when I first came in - rough, dry skin, nothing had been smoothed down. I paid her with a gift card and still gave her a small tip - she was complaining I did not pay the whole bill with cash. I complained to the front desk that my $60 spa-quality pedicure was rushed and my feet felt/looked horrible. They did not get a manager. Then Julie angrily approaches me and grabs my arm - I told her not to touch me - starts yelling that she gave me 45 min and I’m trying to prevent her from getting paid (I already paid her!!!!). I expressed calmly I was not happy with the service and she continues to raise her voice at me. Meanwhile the front desk staff do absolutely nothing. My friend came over to tell her to stop yelling at me, and we decided to leave (still no effort by the front was made to get a manager).I went back with my husband 30 mins later to ask for a refund. I finally spoke with the owner who offered me $50. I said no, my pedicure costs $56, I would like to have the same one done again. Julie again tried to approach but was told to leave us alone.

With my recent experiences at Azulene Nails, I have been more interested in doing nails, and especially painting patterns on nails to express my personality and preferences. Will suggest.

Nice atmosphere and very sweet lady that did my pedicure. 🙂✨Just wanted to come back and say a little while after my pedicure the same day the skin between my baby toe and 4th toe developed a terrible blister, the skin turned raw and opened up and then eventually peeled off (like 1/4 of my toes skins so not a little amount). Not sure why it happened but before my visit this had never happened before.

Good times! I looked at nail samples because I have not had time to think of any for myself. They did exactly the same as what I saw on the sample but added a gloss paint to make sure it didn’t fade, well worth the visit.

I used to work at a nail salon, so I know how to work or evaluate service quality, Azulene Nails & Day Spa is so great. My nails are still strong after six months there.

I made a last-minute reservation while traveling and everyone was so helpful. Diane took care of me, and she was quick and professional and my nails and feet feel and look amazing. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic too - I had some additional requests and they took care of me no trouble. Definitely highly recommend this place!!

I chose for myself blue and white. The staff is extremely skillful when it comes to combining them to create beautiful patterns on my nails.

Laura my massage therapist is wonderful, I won’t see anyone else ever again. This was my second time and she not only gave a great standard massage for the normal aches and stresses but she has been a safe place and has helped me to start to work on stored trauma and I can’t thank her enough.

Just walked out after waiting 30 minutes. Came as a walk in, I knew that I would be waiting but asked the receptionist for a time frame and she states 5-10 minutes. I say ok and sign in. She confirms my name and I go sit down. After 30 minutes I go to the desk and she says ‘oh I don’t have you in the system, it must have booted you out, turns to the other lady and asks her how long will it be and with a smirk on her face says, I don’t have anyone, it’s gonna be at least another 20 minutes’! Im like what! I just waited 30 minutes. And she looks looks at me with a dumb face and says, well I remember you but if you don’t hit a button on the screen it won’t put you in”. I say you greeted me, you confirmed my name! No apology, no nothing. Get some smarter ‘kids’ then what you have now because they don’t know how to do their job. They should be taking care of all people waiting, and if they see someone waiting a long time they should inquire on the wait! The two behind the desk were more concerned about looking at their cell phones instead of checking people in and ensuring they are checked in! Explain to them what a ‘receptionist is’!

Great salon! From the colors to the decorations, the seats are very comfortable, the staff is happy and always chatting while doing my nails.

Got a manicure and pedicure with gel. I dont know if because I got basic with gel but.....was very rushed. No conversation at all was to be had. 3 days afterwards thumb nail came off and later that day part of next 2 fingers. Went back and same girl redid. Next day came off again and within a week they ALL peeled right off. Pedicure lasted no more 2 weeks as well. For $100 NO THANK YOU

My daughter and I and some friends went to get out nails and eyebrows done, we had a great experience, everyone was super nice and it was clean! My daughter is very picky about her nails, and the lady was SUPER sweet and understood and and was very helpful! Will definitely return and would recommend.

Azulene salon is near my house and when I come here I understand why it always attracts people. No one has to wait, the staff is very smart, dynamic and enthusiastic.

I was going to the Azulene in Gainesville for about a year and when I moved to Ocala and saw there was one here too I was excited. I’ve been there probably about 6-7 times now and have always had great work. However this last experience was subpar. I walked in without an appointment which I understand could take a while and they were very short staffed and I completely understand that. I went in wanting a fill and a change of color on my toes. (Not the full pedicure just to change the polish). Well the guy called me to get my fill done, and don’t get me wrong my nails are pretty, but he kept hitting my skin with the drill and it hurt so bad. And then when I asked just to make sure I would be able to get my color change on my toes he told me “I don’t have time for that, I have an appointment coming I barely have time for your nails. You’ll have to sit and wait for toes” and then when a receptionist came over and he told her I wanted my toes done she told me I was going to have to wait a while probably. Don’t get me wrong I love Azulene and I completely understand being short staffed, but to basically start my service and then tell me essentially that I’m not worth your time while putting me through pain was frustrating.

My good friend treated me to a spa day. She paid a pretty penny for us to be pampered. This was my first time at a spa,and having my nails done. The facial tech was nice ,but it was a little strange with the sounds she said were supposed to be relaxing. The massage was nice ,as was the lady. I picked out reg. polish for my toes and nails. The tech was nice but tried to push gel polish ,and its a higher price,I refused. My fingernails started chipping the very next day,Sunday. By Monday big pieces started chipping off. My toes,a week later are still in tact. But when I use dollar tree polish it usually stays a while too. I would expect this place to have nail polish that lasts longer than a day. I definitely wont be back.

Azulene Nails is very beautiful, it is always colorful with lights. The ombre set is also very diverse and the fancy colors really attracted me.

Very very satisfied!! I combined 3 colors at the same time to create my own special nail set and with the ingenuity of the staff made it great.

My experience at Azulene is Amazing because the techs do a very professional job and are caring, I treated my older son and he was pampered by one of the techs with a pedicure, after a long day on his feet he says he will most definitely return back and along with the massage enjoyed it with some wine.

This salon ruined my natural nails. I normally go to Azulene in Gainesville, but a friend of mine lives in Ocala. I had grown out my nails for several months with the care of Azulene in Gainesville. They were so long, they looked like acrylics from the polish side. When I arrived to the Ocala location and was given Rachael as my nail specialist, I told her my nails were my real nails, so she looked at the bottom side of them to check for the shine of plastic tips. She put acetone on cotton, put one on each nail, covered each nail in foil, and put my hands in plastic gloves. She then left me like that for so long, I nearly went to the front to let them know. Im not sure how long she was gone, but I know I stay getting impatient around 15-20 minutes, and I waited another 5-10 beyond that. She finally came out of the linen closet, and started removing everything from my nails and was yanking as she did. As she was going, she pulled the tip of my natural nails off my right pointer finger. She replaced it with an acrylic, but that wound up breaking days later before the bed line, so them I had painful open area I had to allow to grow out. My middle fingernail also broke. When I went back to my nail home base in Gainesville to have my nails fixed, they were so flimsy, they couldnt work with them at all. It was terrible. I told the girls at the front desk what happened before I left. Just beware. Everyone has bad days but .... it was REALLY a bad day for her.

Customer service is just non existent!!!My partner and I made appointment for made an appointment for manicure and pedicure so we can have a nice relaxing afternoon together but instead the person who was in charge decided to separate us (my boy friend and I don’t get much time together and this was his treat to me Thy day) the person in charge was rude to him and short and just did not care. The workers were nice and u can tell the smiles were forced because I am sure they did not want to look like they agreed with us!!! They probably need someone at the front with more guest relation experience as we feel we were badly treated and disappointed which made the relaxing time turn into more of a frustrated time!! If u could give the place ZERO stars I would!

You can almost ask the technician to create any pattern on your nails. They are truly talented and skillful artisans.

When it comes to choosing gel colors, I am overwhelmed by the variety of nail polish colors, it is hard to choose but I did find a color I like with some little textures on my nails.

I’ve been going to Azulene for years. I called a day ahead to reserve a time for my daughter and I to get VIP pedicures, a treat for her before going back to school. The appointment was 11am, we arrived at 10:50 and checked in. We sat for over 35+ minutes waiting for our scheduled appointment. No update, no input, no sorry for the delay.Upon being taken back, they forgot about the VIP package and had us set up in the wrong area. When they realized the mistake, we were asked to sit back down and wait again until they had everything set back up again. We left, didn’t have time to wait longer after the delay.The front desk attendants are nice, but I’m their phone the entire time instead of helping or updating those waiting past their appointment time.I never write reviews, but I hate having our time waisted when we tried to give notice and schedule. The idea of having to wait 40+ minutes for an hour long treatment that was scheduled just isn’t right.Typically we’ve have good experiences which is why I didn’t leave a one star. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I’ve noticed a big decline vs where it used the be at Azulene.They had my contact information on record, that’s how you sign in. I assumed someone would call and try to apologize or make it right, nope.

Went to the nail spa on Saturday 8/12/23. My granddaughter who lives in Ocala highly recommended. ( I live in Villages,) Was not disappointed went theres a walk in the staff was very friendly. They took their time with my full set of nails &did an excellent job on my pedicure. The other two tech who did my both of granddaughters nails and thank you they enjoyed it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

I don’t even want to say why I had to give this but I’ll just say this, NOBODY should have to sit and be passed up waiting for an employee who is willing to your service.

I was brought here by co-workers and Azulene Nails has always been my favorite destination.

I went with my 90 year old mother for deluxe pedicures. It was extremely stressful. The employees are robotic and not at all welcoming or helpful. Its up to you to wander around and ask where you check in or how things work for those of us experiencing our first (and last) visit. Neither of us felt special. It was an assembly line of get it done and get them out. There was an entire row of seats open but they put us next to a grandpa getting a pedicure with his toddler laying on him while he played a cartoon on his phone with full throttle volume, which was more for him than the child unless the little one was stone deaf. Questions were coming at us like machine guns and my mother, nor I could understand what was going on or hear them as they expected you to know where your feet needed to be. They spent more time speaking to each other in a foreign language and appeared to be laughing at the shape of my moms arthritic feet. Did I mention she is 90?????? I gave a two because the end result was nice. The experience was minus one. The ultimate slap was the way my moms techinician ordered her around when she was trying to check out at this stupid terminal, while getting shoved around by people trying to get around her or waiting to check out! What a stupid system. Again, an EXTREMELY impersonal experience. We are not going back. Just a side note.... the employees look miserable!!!

Henry did my nails he was not friendly. My nails were perfect when I left and have lasted so far. I will go back because of how great they look. Just dont expect to go and socialize .*Update nails already peeling up around the edges in the first week !

This will always be my favorite place to treat myself and get my nails done. I’m always seen within 10 minutes of walking in. Mia is my favorite she always gives me exactly what I ask for. Here is a picture of what I asked for vs what I got and I love it. (Minus the ring finger too much for me)

Everything here is perfect and full of relaxation. The space is spacious and clean.

~Update 5 weeks after original:My friend went to fix a nail that broke a few days after initially getting hers done and they could not find her in the system to figure out who did her nails. She gave them her receipt and they figured it out. I went to fix 2 nails that were filed too thin and they couldnt find the guy who did my nails even though I kept pointing him out saying I believe it was him over there. So they try to pretend they dont know who did your nails so they dont have to give you a fix. Im starting to see why people get upset.~Update 2.5 weeks after initially getting them done:there were no chips or breaks or peels. The nail polish was starting to fade but I didnt use gel. Gel lasts longer. They even tell you that. I just got them refilled today with a different guy and he did a great job.~Original review:I got my acrylics done there a week ago and they still look great! I even did yard work and they didnt break. The nail polish isnt even faded or chipped.Theyre not the most talkative people, but thats not what Im there for. As long as the work they do is good, they dont need to talk to me if they dont want to. Im not talkative either anyway.

Very happy with the services I received. It was my first time there and I got a facial and a pedicure. The esthetician was great with her hands, she was very gentle that I almost fell asleep. The nail tech also did such a good job with my pedicure. I can’t wait to go back.

I have always been happy with this salon until today: I went for a fill and pedi two days ago. My technician- Andy- was way to rough and forceful with the pedi massage. I asked him to take it easy, that it was too much. I woke up the next day to bruising. I am not a delicate girl, I was shocked. I contacted the salon by text to call me. No call. I just called them. Other than an Im sorry, no compensation or anything. I will still go, I will just be very picky who does my work. Avoid Andy- he needs to find a different job.

Ive been going for many years on and off. They are lacking in customer service… Especially the nail techs. There are a few there who are extremely rude and very cocky. I appreciate efficiency but when youre paying for a VIP pedicure, you want luxury… You dont want somebody rushing and barely massaging your feet. Its hit or miss to be quite honest. I think its time to find someplace else.

Its my second time going there, and in both, I went without an appointment and didnt really have to wait that much. I think the job that they do is very good but I really expect a plus because when we go there we want to be pamper, and we are, but when you get home and really take a look at the final results you realize that they go a little fast. I got a manicure and pedicure and it was very good but, again, she didnt take the calloused areas I came I with. They say that they use autoclaved instruments, but the pouch that is supposed to go in the autoclave its not sterile. Those envelopes are special for autoclaves, and they change their color when they are sterile. They change the pink parts to brown. Im a Dr. thats how I know this.Then, another girl made my eyebrows, but when I got home and really looked in the mirror, I saw that she didnt do a good job.And it wasnt cheap, I asked for the best I paid for the whole treatment, $175.Just writing this review so they can improve which Im sure they will because they know how to do it.

Spa Atmosphere but Awful service. This place has the look but that is all it has to offer. Went here three times for waxing and nails. The waxing lady burned my skin on my brows and underarms. Despite telling her the wax was too hot. Went in a second time for a pedicure and that was ok but nothing special for the price I paid. My third visit was my last straw— worst manicure and gel polish ever. Go to Avalon or Pro Nails. This place is a joke

Went for the first time with my mom to keep her company and got the lemon drop massage (Im a guy btw). Good atmosphere, had wine, and shout out to Tammy and Michael. They were both so kind and skilled.

I started going here in February for dip powder nails and gel pedicure. The place is nice and clean, but my nails were not lasting a week and my pedicure polish was sloppy. They had to re-polish my toes and fix a chipped dip powder nail in less than 2 days! If you want a nice and clean nail spa, this your place. However, your nails will not last!

The staff is very patient to paint on the flowers so beautifully. I love it!!

This is my second time coming here and both times I loved how my nails turned out. I chose the UV gel light option and fell in love with them. Usually I get powdered gel but I prefer the UV gel now. My toes and feet were done by KJ, he did an absolute great job. (Done last Monday.)

I’ve given them so many chances but today was my last visit. If a 25 minute pedicure for $67+ dollars is your thing then Azulene is your place. On many occasions I’ve gone, paid for the deluxe pedicure ($47 with an extra $20 for gel) which is advertised as 40 minute pedicure. Did the same today for myself and my mother. Made it a point to note the time the pedicure started as I’ve always felt the pedicures were very short in the past. My pedicure took the full 40 mins as advertised, my mother, finished 15 minutes before me. So 25 minutes but paid for the 40 minute deluxe pedicure. I go to relax and the massage and is why we get the deluxe ($17 difference). My mother paid while I was finishing my pedicure and I didn’t have the opportunity to say something prior and she wasn’t aware of the time difference as I ordered. I did ask when she was finished if she did receive the deluxe in which I was told yes. I said something to the girls at the desk while we were leaving and nothing was rectified. Paying $70 for a deluxe and getting 3 mins of massage has happened entirely too many times for me to ever return. Very expensive for a below par pedicure.

I unfortunately would not recommend and I can only hope they can improve their services before more customers go through this. I just got my nails done yesterday, and today I am left bruised after telling their representative that he was being too rough on my legs. After suggesting the water was only on freezing cold, I was punished with scalding hot water. After all of this I am left with the same calluses I came in with yesterday and jagged toenails. Sadly disappointed and wishing I just did my toes at home after my experience at Azulene Day Spa.

My husband and I went in for a couples pedicure. It was wonderful...his lady had to work extra hard but did a great job.

Been coming to this salon for over 10 years back before they ever even expanded. this has been my favorite salon in ocala but within the last year or so the customer service has been terrible. the front desk girls don’t even say hello to you when you walk in. you have to stand there and wait to be acknowledged. some of the nail techs are gems but some of the others have a horrible attitude and act like you are inconveniencing them by being there paying their bills. not sure the name of the girl i had but she took off my old set by literally ripping them off to the point i had tears in my eyes asking for her to soak them instead. after that it was all downhill. she was pretty rude and had a bad attitude the rest of the time. rolling her eyes. every time she was done with a hand she pushed it back at me. any time i moved a finger or repositioned my arm she would yank it back. she cut my cuticles multiple times and filed my skin like it was her last day on earth. did not listen or pay attention to what i wanted. overall not a great experience and the last few times i’ve been it’s been about the same. don’t think i will be returning anymore which is a shame because i work in the beauty industry and have referred MANY people here over the years.

I have waited for 6 months to get my toes done and girl, dont hesitate to go in! Glass separated everyone and all wore masks. They always called me by my name! Tell em I sent ya!! I will never come back! Do not be fooled by the appearance! It is definitely a beautiful spa, and I was expecting 5 star service NO MATTER the service I picked. I wanted a simple pedicure for myself and a manicure for my 15 year old daughter. They kept trying to upsell other add ons that I just didnt want but still went up to the higher cost pedicure but I did not want gel polish. It doesnt last any longer on my toes. The techs were obviously upset that I did not add on gel to an already OVERPRICED pedicure and tried to embarrass me talking about me in their language and looking at me and laughing at me. This was not the relaxing 5 star experience I was expecting. On top of that, The polish was done so sloppily. I had the CHEAP polish he used all over my skin, and the pedicure itself was sub-par. The lady doing my daughters nails was so rough with her and ended up cutting her causing her to bleed. I am so disappointed I paid for such horrible service. Save your money. Ive experienced way better treatment and a more professional servicefrom smaller nail salons. Beware!!

I get everything done here. Waxes, pedicures massages, they offer full efficient services. Gracious people at the front desk and no kids, no loud or abrutive people. Very calming environment. Hannah is great. Provides awesome pedicures and waxing services.

I have had two horrible experiences back to back and I will never return to this “spa” again! My first visit I went for a pedicure and Let them know that I wanted normal nail polish and not the gel. I was pressured and pressure and asked more than three times why I didn’t want gel. It to the point that they actually brought out the light and began doing a gel pedicure when I had to once again tell them “no, How many times do I have to say I do not want Gel.” It was such a pressured experience that I could not relax and they would speak amongst each other in another language knowing full well that they were talking about meMy second experience was even worse… when I once again went for a pedicure and it was literally cutting filing slapping a bit of lotion on my feet and painting my toenails. When I asked her about cuticles and actually doing a normal pedicure she said she had already done that. The so-called massage was no more than 30 seconds. Gets even better, once I went to get my nails done she left nail polish all along my hands and around my nail beds and when I asked her to please remove it she took a nail file and started filing my skin. I had to tell her, “ no, why are you filing my skin you need to take this off with acetone.”I am a palled at the lack of quality. It is smoke and mirrors when you see such a pretty upscale place but the quality definitely is horrendous. I will never return here again and recommend nobody comes here if they expect a good job.

Today I visited Azulene to get some fills. I set down and the lady started to work. She accidentally hurt my pinky finger with the buffer machine. My reflexes kicked in and I automatically pulled my hand back. As I am examining my bruised finger she said Well youre not bleeding. I replied, I am not bleeding but I am hurt. The nail tech then replied, Well do you want me to continue or not? I declined to let her continue because she displayed no empathy at all. She dust off her area and raced to the front desk to say that I was being difficult.Her coworker, at the station next to her did not ask me if I was okay, neither the guest sitting next to me. Rather in an irritated voice with me, he muttered take your complaints to the front.My nail tech and the male tech next to her never once asked me if I was okay. Rather, than displaying empathy for my skin being shaved by the machine they were angry at me.

I would not recommend going here at all. As soon as I sat down for my pedicure it was rushed. I felt pressured to get gel as my tech kept on pushing me to get it as I clearly just wanted regular polished. She kept asking me over and over and pushing me to get gel. It is not relaxing to feel like you’re trying to get sold on something when your going to a salon. She also kept pushing me to get the most expensive pedicure as I already told her I wanted the basic pedicure. I usually get regular polish for my pedicures and it lasts awhile. My polish chipped the next day, most likely because she did a rush job after I told her I didn’t want what she was trying to sell me on. I will never come back as there are better places in Ocala.

For starters the ambience is amazing! The salon is very peaceful and beautiful. Very welcoming to all guests. The quality of the work is all there! Mr. T does my nails and his work is amazing as always! Apart from his great personality, he goes above and beyond for all his guests! Asking any and all questions to make sure you are satisfied with your nails! Definitely the best salon I’ve ever been too! Will continue to be coming back!!

They have very variable quality. My mom and I showed the same reference picture (below). Unfortunately, mine were of poor quality, although are okay from a distance. The white tips were sloppy and had excess residue left on the nail. There was white paint left on my skin on several nails. The pink acrylic was way too dark for the nude reference picture I showed. I gave two stars instead of one because my moms nails (done by a different tech) were beautiful and of high quality.

Azulene is our go to pedi place in town. Often I’m spur of the moment, so I don’t always remember to make an appointment. Even with no appointment there is still usually one of my favs available.Mandy, is amazing! Such an amazing experience every time. I was so happy I found her because my husband “stole” Nicole from me. Mandy, Nicole, Maria, and TT are a few of our favorites.

The 1 massage service was very good with raul. i was scheduled for 2 massages. 1 for me, 1 for my daughter, i was also scheduled for 2 vip pedicures.when we arrived only 1 massage was on the books and no pedicures. we were not compensated for any mess-ups on behalf of the salon, we were not informed nail gel was $20 additional per person.the only petson that tried to help the situation was the massage guy!!! very dissapointed in todays customer service for over $500 in services, drinks and tips

Very relaxing atmosphere! Everyone had their own personal space and plenty of room for the amount of people they had there. My appointment was quick and I didnt spend longer then I expected. My technician was very nice and I would love to see her again. She kept me comfortable and in charge!

My nail tech was great however the $20 add on fee for gel polish instead of lacquer is insane. Spent $56 and $34 for mani plus $40 for gel ($20 for feet $20 for fingers).Thats almost $140 not including 25% tip. Also reception wont tell you balance of gift cards over the phone you must drive there and be told the balance in person only. Ive been going to this nail salon for years but am done now.

First timer here! I was looking for an affordable salon that would do some simple acrylics. The minute you walk in, you can feel the relaxing atmosphere. My tech was Ken who was very pleasant and gentle. Im use to getting my nails done by techs who are extremely rough and tend to nic my cuticles at every visit. Ken was thorough, took his time to make the service was done correctly, and made no objections to some of my ideas that I shared with him.Typically, when the e-file starts, my anxiety gets the best of me seeing as Im a bleeder. However, because my tech was patient, I started to fall asleep a little bit. Oops!Overall, my first time experience was awesome! I will be going back for a fill in two weeks.

After living here for 6 weeks and having bad experiences at 2 different salons, I came to Azulene on a recommendation. Lilly did my pedicure and dip nails. She was wonderful!! I have found a new home for my services. I highly recommend her. The spa was very clean and everyone was professional. The prices are a little higher about 10% , but I will gladly pay because the experience was 100% better!!

Did a pedicure on 9.22.2022 for the 1st time at this place, and it was not a pleasant experience. The lady doing the pedicure was very rough and hardly speak any English. She cut my skin at the extend that l was bleeding, then four days later the nail polish used by them was already chipped, not a good quality of nail polish. I have done a lot of pedicures and they last at least two weeks but not at this place, l m very disappointed, it was not worth the $34.00 plus tips l gave them. I will not come back nor recommend this place.

I NEVER leave reviews. But if I could give 0 stars I would. Service was rushed and sloppy. The tech nicked me and caused me to bleed. Then on my way home I started thinking about how much the bill was and called back to realize I was charged for a manicure that I didn’t receive. It’s 100% my fault for not checking first but when I addressed it, the only response I got was “you can come back in and get the rest of the manicure”… as I was back home and 30 mins away. This place has gone down hill. Find a better place in Ocala that cares about your service

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! They look all pretty and fancy inside and they lure you with that luxurious-looking decor but it’s fake! Their service does not match that. I got my dip manicure done last week and four of my nails started chipping at the tips within a week, so I went back one week later to have them fix it but they said because it’s past three days, I would have to pay extra for them to fix it. First of all, dip should last minimum of three weeks that’s why we pay extra for that. If it barely lasted a week, they didn’t do it right and they wanted ME to pay extra for them to fix their mistake. A different person fixed my nails and said “wow who did these nails for you last time, they didn’t do it right. I only fixed it temporarily, you have to come back next week and remove everything and get a new set” I was appalled! You telling me I have to come back and have my dip manicure removed after only two weeks and pay all over for a new set?!?!?!?! Every place I had gotten dip manicure done, it has lasted me 3-4 weeks. I am always satisfied with my dip manicure. I only went to this greedy people because they were open late. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!! They didn’t even deserve my tip!This place is just greedy for your money. They don’t care about you or your nails. Their quality sucks! They purposely do a terrible job so you return quicker for a fresh manicure! WHAT A SCAM!

I really enjoy my appointments with my nail tech. I have never been disappointed. My daughter joined me on my last visit, she had her nails done in gel polish for the first time. She’s turning 21, it was a birthday present. They made sure we could be side by side to enjoy this time together. They were so accommodating and kind. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had an appointment and was on time, my nail tech was assigned to someone else by Management and then the super nice front desk girl had to give me the bad news. The front desk girls are always super sweet and so are the techs. I dont understand why Management didnt come over himself to let me know what happened. I had to wait, take another nail tech or come back later which is completely unfair, as if it were the other way around, and I had been late to my appointment they would have given my tech away, this is what they always say. So pretty much their time is more valuable than mine? This is not right and management does not care!I’ve been a long time customer and their service has been lacking for a while now. I pay good money yet their service has been getting worse and worse. I pay for a 55 min pedicure and the tech is done in 40 min. Not right at all. Its time to move on!Do yourself a favor, save some money and go elsewhere. There are many other salons in the area that are not as expensive and appreciate their customers! Pro Nails, Premier Nails, etc.

After reading some of the reviews on here, I decided to schedule with Ben. I am so glad I did! He really came through on my nails. I got medium length acrylics with a coffin shape and for the color I got a pink ombré from a reference photo I had. AMAZING 😍 I will say, you can definitely tell they’re popular, as they were pretty busy when I arrived for my scheduled appointment time. I ended up having to wait about 15-20 minutes for Ben to finish with another client. Fortunately for both he and I, I scheduled my service for a full set of acrylics (automatic 1 hour) and added the coffin shape as an additional service (automatic 1 hour). So he had a full two hours scheduled with me before his next scheduled appointment and only took an hour to complete my set (almost an hour and a half if adding the time I waited and check out) which definitely benefited us both. Overall, a nice environment and friendly staff. The pricing was pretty on par with what I would’ve paid anywhere in Gainesville.

This place is a joke. The more people I tell about my experience the more it’s clear they are just a bad business. I took my 10 year old daughter to get a manicure and pedicure (for getting all A’s). She was so excited and she got gel polish so it would last longer for her (her request). The charged us full adult charge for the whole thing. THE WORST PART IS WE LEFT THERE AT 4:00 and that night she went swimming and half of the polish came off. The next day the rest of it came off. All of her gel polish I paid $100 (with tip) came off in 24 hours. I tried to call the manager for 2 weeks straight DAILY!!! The receptionist said she gave him my messages. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK….EVER!!! This is so sad!!!! You need money that bad you can’t back up your 3 day guarantee for gel polish. They have a “guarantee” but they are crooked. When I went in and saw the receptionist (manager is never there) she said the manager just doesn’t care!!!!! DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Love getting facials here, Martha is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She knows exactly what my skin needs every time. Shes so calming and knowledgable! Every time I leave her my skin feels so wonderful and I feel extremely relaxed. You can tell she loves what she does and it shows through her work!! Highly recommend getting your facials with Martha!

I loved my queen package overall, however you should do them in reverse order. It should be mani/pedi, facial then massage because i felt great after Raul was done but then I had to sit for 2 more hours and I didnt leave still feeling what he had done.

A group of us went to get pedicures as a thank you from our boss! We had a great time. However, some were given a menu to upgrade services , some were offered drinks, and some were not. The gentleman that helped me was awesome and I ended ip getting my nails done by him as well!

I chose a rather strange nail design, with each nail being a different texture and color too. The staff here didnt let me down, what a great nail salon.

Mia has done an awesome job! I’ve never been happier with my nails. She’s quick and very helpful. She helped me find the perfect color to match when I brought in a picture for reference. I haven’t had any nails break and they’re even and not thick at all! Will be going to her from now on. The girls at the counter are very attentive and sweet as well and Mia has been ready for me with my appointment time.

This was a huge Christmas gift I recieved. I am a very busy person, full time job, single mom. Was not sure when I was able to go.So my daughters 18th birthday seemed a good opportunity. So today was the day. This was my first time ever in my life to get pampered. Oh what a great experience,I asked myself: Where has this been all my life? Expensive 101.00 for a pedicure. Asked her for 1 color and she grabbed another color. Then they looked horrible. Never again. The place looks nice but they provide horrible service for the price they charge and the chair are super uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Very clean, beautiful decor, front desk very helpful. The gentleman that did my service was great.My gel gloss cranberry manicure was fabulous and 7 days out no chips or cracks in the polish. I work in health care and wash my hands constantly ,all day long, as it should be in my profession. My nails look great after 1 week. I am totally satisfied and would not hesitate to go back.
