Scheduled an appointment for my wife for our 42 anniversary. She loved the Royal package with the facial, Swedish massage and hair style and shampoo. Alariah, Kristen, and Nanette were professional and took care in pampering my wife. She was happy and relaxed when I pick her up ready for our dinner date. I highly recommend visiting LuDawn Spa & Salon for a full treatment of health and wellness.

Being able to say that being waxed is a relaxing experience feels weird to say but I could fall asleep every time I see Lupita! She is so gentle and really cares for her clients. I moved to the area at the end of last year and booked an appointment with her trying to find someone new to do my eyebrows. After that first time, I haven’t even tried anyone else! She is the absolute best!

Love the service! Especially Kaylee, weve always had her as our stylist and couldnt ask for anyone better. She has a fun vibe to her that makes the trips fun and every appointment is always full of fun and drama! Never once had we been disappointed in our hair after leaving.

I only wish this company provided doctors, nutritionists, and counselors….I’d go to them for it all! The moment you walk in, you’re immediately relaxed by the environment and greeted by genuine, pleasant people. I’ve had work done by Julia, Maddie, Kristen, Erika, and Dawn. ALL fantastic people and service. This was the first time ever I felt relaxed enough to recline my chair and not talk while getting my pedicure. I’ve never felt so relaxed after a pedicure til I’ve been here. And Kristen gave me a fabulous updo for my maternity photoshoot…only wish I could have that hairstyle every weekend! It was so beautiful. And the massage!! I’ve had massages in many places in Ocala and outside of Ocala. Hands down, best massage EVER. Wow, wow, wow is all I can say. This place is definitely my go to. Oh! And the people at front desk are always super friendly and pleasant, which is rare. It’s a good, genuine, relaxing vibe there. Clean and beautiful atmosphere focused on personal wellness! Absolutely unforgettable first time here. Nanette gave me a fantastic 90 minute therapy massage that may have lifted years of trauma out of my body. I will be going back and recommending!

I’ve been very hesitant to write a review but for the 3rd time in a row my gel manicure started peeling off & chipping after just a couple days. I’ve been going to LuDawn for haircuts & gel manicures since moving to Ocala 8 months ago. My regular nail technician at LuDawn (Julia) recently quit so I’ve had 2 other employees the last few appointments. The first time it happened I called the next day & they said the technician needed more training & they gladly redid them. The 2nd time I scheduled w/ one of the owners not realizing she didn’t do gel so they put me with the technician I had previously (but said she’d been re-trained). The 3rd & most recent time I was with someone I hadn’t been with prior & I assumed by appearances she’d done a great job (& she was very pleasant) but within a couple days the gel was peeling off like the two previous visits. I’m accustomed to gel lasting around 2 weeks but within 2-3 days it begins peeling off so I’m guessing a step is being missed, they’re improperly trained or the products are old.I’ve spent $250 (including tips) at LuDawn in the last 6 or so weeks on my nails alone & yet they look terrible.All this explaining to say I don’t recommend them for nails. I love the environment, it’s clean, they’re friendly & I’ll miss getting services there but I can’t continue to dump money down the drain.Admittedly I did not call & complain like I should have the last two times out of uncomfortableness but I can’t be the only one this is happening to. $60 (including tip) on a gel manicure to have it peeling off a couple days later (3 times in a row) is a bummer considering how time & money consuming it is.

I get my hair cut and styled with Kristen. She has brought my hair back to life! I never knew it could look this amazing! She has restored my confidence and I feel 20 years younger!Alariah waxes my eyebrows, I feel very self conscious about bald spots and the shape of them and she does a wonderful job shaping and taming the unruly hairs!I love the team at LuDawn, they make me feel welcome and confident!

Kristen cut and colored my hair. She did an amazing job. I love this place it has a relaxing environment and they use all natural products. I will definitely be back. I am so glad I read the reviews and went.

The MOST relaxing atmosphere! As soon as you walk in you smell essential oils and you immediately relax. You walk into Lupitas room, for your waxing appt, and breath deeply as she massages your temples and shoulder then your wax begins. Shes done in a blink of an eye. If you get a lip wax, she surprises you with a cooling ice thats so refreshing. If you get a bikini or brazilian wax and its painful, she apologizes politely. It is one of the best experiences Ive ever had getting my waxing done by her. You are thanking her as you are leaving a few minutes later. She goes over and beyond every time I visit, and Ive been coming here for years. I highly recommend Lupita and her salon.

I had a superb facial with Dawn Marie. She listened well and while Ive had a few facials over time, I may start having them regularly because the experience was so relaxing And provided a renewed vitality to my skin!

Absolute best place I have been for a pedicure. Very welcoming environment, the most calming smell of tea tree oil upon entrance and the staff was spectacular. My husband and I both plan on making this our go to place for pedicures from here on out!!

With diabetes, I need special attention for my feet. Julia pays particular attention to the details that help me stay confident in nail treatment, circulation and overall wellness. I believe LuDawn is the premier place for all types of spa services. The setting and atmosphere is relaxing, positive, professional and filled with smiles from an attentive staff. I picked LuDawn because of advertisements only using natural products. I am susceptible to the vapors in other nail salons; there are no irritating smells in this salon. I began in July 2023 with a twice-monthly manicure/pedicure, a birthday gift for myself. Julia D was my first manicurist and I have made appointments with her ever since. She is very careful with my arthritic toes and meticulously cleans the two toenails with fungus. As a result of twice-a-day use of the fungus medication I bought at LuDawn and Julias care, my issue is improving. Julia also provides suggestions for nail color that has garnered compliments from friends. My nails always look pristine and polished.I am impressed with the entire staff. They are all polite and helpful but Julia keeps me returning.

They never disappoint! They do amazing job every time! Would recommend getting your hair done by these professionals!

Wow I just had my first hair cut at LuDawn Spa with Kaylee and it was the perfect cut and a wonderful experience.I had very long hair and hadnt had it cut in a few years. I knew I wanted to take off some length and ended up taking off 8 inches!Kaylee was so wonderful cutting the length slowly asking lots of questions and having me assess the length before continuing to take off more. I felt like I was 100% in the control and we found the perfect length and my hair feels so light, healthy and bouncy.The spa is clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing the staff was really friendly and warm and made me feel pampered. I am so excited to come back for more treatments and to bring my husband.I love the natural products that made my hair feel and smell great without any of that harsh perfume smell that always gives me a headache leaving a salon.10 out of 10 experience all around!

Highly recommend Massage Therapist, Nannette Whitman. This is my second season with Nanette, and she is one of the best I’ve ever gone to. Kristin also gave a very nice cut and style.

First Time:LuDawn Spa & Salon gives you an individual experience tailored to your needs and gives you a sense of relaxation unlike any other place. I’ve been there two have an array of services. My first service was with Megan and she gave me the change I needed. She listened to my desires and executed perfectly. I got to be the fun and spunky violet head. 😈 She used an Organic color line on me and it was fantastic! The color was gorgeous and shined! Lupita did my brows and just relaxed me, I told her I was growing out my brows since I’ve moved to Ocala. She said okay and let me just relax. Painless is an understatement. She gave me a skin consultation and recommended some of their Intelligent Nutrients Products. Loving the refining micro-polish, I’ve been using it on my skin and noticed I’m way less dry! My skin actually takes in moisture.Now I’m going to talk about the most terrifying word a woman can here...BRAZILIAN. I barely felt anything, Lupita talked me through the service and explained to me what I needed to do to get rid of ingrowns and keep that area up to par with my face. Best bikini wax I’ve ever had and I’ve had 10 years worth. When Lupita told me it was over, I looked at her and said “you’re lying we didn’t get....OH we did!” Never have I been so distracted and comfortable during this type of service.Second Experience:6/21 They squeezed me in last minute for Nichol who did my Avant-garde French Pedicure and my Pinki Bikini Shellac Manicure. Apparently there is a promotion for any guest who hasn’t had nail services in the past. So I recommend you book ahead, but I had to go on the Cancellation list, b/c of the short notice. The receptionist assured me she would work on something for me, which usually means no. I then got a text a few hours later confirming my appointment time.I was greeted and offered an option of tea, coffee, or their signature citrus water. The ambiance of the spa is warm and inviting. If you would have blind folded me and told me people were getting their nails and hair done, I’d call you a liar. I couldn’t smell anything, but subtle scents.Nichol greeted me within 5 minutes of my arrival and guided me to where we would be. We were in an intimate room that had two pedicure chairs and a manicure station. I had explained to Nichol I preferred my toes be done first. She told me that wouldn’t be an issue, let me pick out my colors, and popped me into the pedicure chair. She explained to me how to use the chair if I needed to adjust anything. Super comfy! I was checked up on by staff twice to refresh my beverages during both my manicure & pedicure. Nichol was super patient and asked me how I wanted my French if I wanted something more traditional or fun. I went with fun I choose the colors ZOYA’s Ginni and Shellac’s Pink Bikini. She nailed the services even though I’m a Chatty Cathy. Before she even touched me she let me smell some oils to calm me down and gave me a cup of tea. Unlike, my busy self I was pleased to spend two hours there and shutdown.Right before I leave I catch my Father’s inheritance on my upper lip. The dreaded upper lip waxing. They seemed super busy, but I had to ask. They pulled some magic squeezed me in. The most painless and interactive wax service! Ladies your brows are not twins, they’re sisters. My esthetician, Dawn (I hadn’t had the pleasure of having a service) guided me through a consultation, where I made the decision of what to pull and leave. She just applied my vision of what my brows should look like onto My Crowns above my eyes. Truly never felt so satisfied with my brows.They make me feel welcomed and relaxed. I even bought a bunch of aromatherapy oils and diffuser home to bring my spa experience home.

I have been going to Lu Dawn for about 3 years now, possibly more. Kaylee does my hair and my boys. She is awesome! I always feel welcomed and just walking into the door I start to relax. Dawn is fabulous for all she offers for skin and relaxation therapy. Sarah is a top notch masseuse too. We go to them for a couples massage every couple months, and I get one for myself whenever I can. The ambiance is everything you hope for in a spa, from the decor to the smell to the vibe.

Kaylee has been my hair stylist for many years now and she is outstanding. I usually don’t know what I’m looking for but she can always tell what I want done with my hair. She is personable and very knowledgeable!

She took the time to assess what I wanted done with my hair, was a sweetheart and is very talented. I am new to Ocala and have found my new stylist here. The atmosphere in the spa is very relaxing and the staff are wonderful and hospitable . It was EXACTLY what I needed after some very stressful times and I left loving my hair and looking like I spent a fortune but for the money and what I got.... a GREAT value! I will be back! Maybe I will drop some BIG hints to my kids that a spa day here is what I want for Mothers Day or my birthday, both this month. 😊🤗

I recently moved to this area and was very nervous to find a, salon as I had the same stylist for many years. My hair is long and I am very particular of the way it is cut and styled. I visited the salon to check it out after reading the fantastic reviews and asked to be put with the best stylist. They said no problem Kailee is the best and she really is! I love my hair, she took time to listen to what I wanted and we chose a color to hi-light my hair together. She is truly a master stylist, do not hesitate to book with her.

I went there to do a manicure and I got Julia. I never had a manicure as good as the one I received at the salon. Julia is super sweet and very professional and do an awesome job. I really recommend her.

Absolutely love this place! I needed to get in before a trip, and only had one day where I was available. They got me in with Melisa. From start to finish the staff was amazing and helpful. I was offered beverages, and my comfort was a top priority. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melisa, and the amazing job she did on my hair! She knew exactly what I wanted (maybe even more than I did) and she did an incredibly job! I really loved that all of their products were organic. Even after being bleached my hair was silky and healthy. I would definitely recommend this spa if you are new to the area or even looking for something new and more natural.

From Darci who answers the phone, to Melissa who styles my hair, to Brooke for a massage, Erika for a facial, Dawn for nails, the professionalism is top rate. The nicest thing you can do for yourself!I see Brooke for my massage therapy and Kaylee for all of my hair care. Nobody does a better job! I used to dread regular trips to a salon. Now I look forward to every spa visit! LuDawn has such an amazing and immersive atmosphere, I feel pampered every time. “Maintenance” use to be a chore, now “self-care” is truly a restorative treat. Melisa is amazingly talented and insightful, truly bringing out the best in my hair color and style. Erika is sheer magic, delivering wonderful facials, manicures and pedicures. Before LuDawn and Erika, I don’t think I would have used ‘waxing’ and ‘relaxing’ in the same sentence, but here we are! The entire staff is warm and welcoming!

I was referred to Dawn by a Family Member. Dawn suggested I go into see Michelle as she was all booked. I went in for my very first Massage today. Ive been having lower back problems as I stand for hours at a time and lift heavy objects all day. Michelle was so Wonderful. She was careful all around making sure I was comfortable and everything was Perfect! All the staff were very friendly and the facility was clean and very relaxing. Everything I imagined a Spa would be. After my visit I feel very relaxed and a lot less tense throughout my entire body. She definitely got to my problem areas and I feel a world of difference already. I absolutely loved my experience and will definitely be returning for another Massage!

So many good things to say about this place! Sarah did wonders for my back when I came in for a Swedish massage and her warm laughter made me feel relaxed. Nichole was a sweetheart and my toes feel pretty again and Gretchen is the woman to go to if you want a fabulous blowout! This place was the perfect spot for a spa day but also the woman that work here really make you feel welcome, from the moment you walk through the door to when you depart. Beautiful spa and salon with an immediately calming energy. Impeccably clean and the staff is beyond kind and attentive. I didn’t know it was possible to have a relaxing Waxing. The absolute least painful and genuinely pleasant waxing experience I have ever had(years of waxing experiences to compare to). I legitimately could have napped through the whole thing. If you have never waxed or you have always waxed- this is where you should be doing it. I will be going back to work my way to through their extensive menu of services. A terrific salon and spa on the order of Face the Day, only better! I have to say my three haircuts by two different staff were the very best I have had, just super. I only had to wait once, a short time, otherwise my appointments were ontime.The organic products are terrific, available to purchase. The staff is wonderful, they are caring and careful with great talent.There is now a couples room for joint massages. The owners are former Face the Day employees so snacks, delicious flavored water teas or coffee are available.Victoria, the manager is wonderful at her job and very accomodating. The owners are working on-site, stop to say hello and are two lovely women. You could have a lovely spa day or just pick the services you need.This is an independent customer review.

LuDawn treats me amazingly! The atmosphere here is so relaxing and prices are competitive. Janely does my fade perfect and does the best scalp massage I’ve ever had ! She is very professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my fades ever again!

Took 3 tries to even get an appointment. Eyebrow wax was great. Nails not so much. They did not have a great selection to choose from. Chose a color and when they pulled it out it had hardened so it was unusable. Less than 2 weeks later the polish started to lift on 3 of my fingers. I usually get at least a month out of my gel polish.

The staff at LuDawn Spa & Salon is very friendly and professional. I love organic products. Gretchen Burke is awesome!! She listens attentively to any questions/concerns I have and responds appropriately. Grecten is very knowledgeable about hair and the hair products that are best suited for me to use. This place is wonderful! I had never been to a spa before and was instantly welcomed and greeted with smiles from the staff. They gave me a tour when I went in to book a spa day for myself and my mom. They were the only spa I could find to do all the services we were both looking for. Everyone was so wonderful and catered to us differently so the experience was specialized to our needs. We spent the whole day there getting pampered from head to toe and we will be returning again! I had a manicure here today. Nichol is great-she massaged my hands and helped me choose the perfect color for me. My sister had a facial, and she said shed do it again and add a massage! The atmosphere at LuDawns is so pleasant and welcoming. They diffuse relaxing oils, and they offer guests tea and cucumber water. My sister and I completely enjoyed our morning at LuDawns.

Ive been going there for about a month. I had my hair colored and styled. I have had my face waxed. Ive had several acupuncture treatments. All services exceeded my expectations. The acupuncture has help relieve arthritic pain and is helping my weight loss program. I strongly recommend this marvelous staff to everyone. I look forward to my first massage and other services. This is my go-to salon and spa when I am in Ocala. The icing on the cake is they use and sell ONLY certified organic products.

What a disappointment Dawn was. Massages are focused on range of motion rather than deep tissue. Unfortunately I had scheduled three massages and had to cancel the last two before going out of town. They were given more than 24 hour notice. So you can imagine my surprise receiving a text message about an upcoming massage that I had already cancelled. Still the kind of person I am. They were given another courtesy call. I even called them in the morning and was met with unprofessionalism by non other than dawn. My recommendation since you are half owner would be check your message machine first and second your staff. You were given more than a weeks notice of cancelled appointments. You Dawn even stated your system automatically generated the text messages I received. Because of the way you handled this I will not be back nor will I recommend you to anyone.

I really enjoyed the pedicure I received while we were visiting the area. It was so relaxing and just what I needed. They have a decent variety of non-toxin personal care products which was quite surprising! They also give great hugs (so rare)!!

I have been seeing Dawn for my brows for years now and she is so kind and always does an amazing job! I recently saw Brooke for a massage and she is so skilled as well, and is also very kind & knowledgeable.

Love this place! Have gone to get a brazilian wax here twice as well as had a facial and a prenatal massage. I felt pampered, important and so welcomed both times I came in. Dawn is amazing...so sweet and professional. She answered all my questions and made me feel wonderful! An amazing place. Would definitely recommend anyone in Ocala going here for any spa needs.

I’m always nervous hopping into the chair of a stylist new to me, but Loretta immediately put all my fears to rest. We looked at pictures of what I wanted done and she informed me of her plan before we got started. My haircut turned out even better than I had hoped for and expected. I LOVE IT! Not only do I highly recommend Loretta, I will most definitely be seeing her again!

The salon is very nice. However, this review is about my stylist. Her name is Janeley, I followed her to this salon. She is Fabulous! She is not afraid to do exactly what you ask even if it sounds a bit crazy. I have always had a difficult time finding a stylist that would make my bangs as JAGGED as I truly wanted. Not Janeley...she would do a bit ask how it was and just keep going until I was thrilled with my look. In addition to being a wonderful stylist shes just a very nice sweet person.So if youre in need of a new stylist contact LuDawn Salon and ask for JANELEY.

Lupita is amazing at waxing. I had a terrible experience in the past with waxing at another location and I swore I would never get waxed again. After speaking with Lupita and deciding to give it one more chance I allowed Lupita to wax my underarms.I was very impressed with the whole experience. The environment of where you get waxed is a private room with a relaxing vibe. You lay down on this comfortable heated table. She helps you relax by having you close your eyes and taking a deep breath while she touches in with your shoulder and arms.Lupita’s technique when it comes to waxing totally changed my mind on getting waxed. She was very caring and attentive. Explaining things to me and doing it in a way that was no where near as painful as my first waxing experience.I have seen her several times since my first appointment and have been equally pleased each and every time.

I walked in, hoping they could do my acrylic nails, but they only do natural. HOWEVER! They asked around and Googled a place that did do acrylics! They wrote down the address and treated my like gold. Their service earned them 5 stars in my book. Rock on Ladies!
