R & R Pasadena Cantina

Came to this venue for a amatuer boxing competition. The place seemed to be a bar with a ring set up in it for the event. So it was pretty small but did allow for a great view no matter where you sat. I didnt drink there so I couldnt review the drinks. Though there was no wait staff this day. So I cant review that either. Bathroom were not that well taken care of if I had to review anything here

We went to several bars in the area tonight. This was the second. It is huge, but obviously rather tired and worn out. There was a cover charge of $10/per person. I asked when the band was playing...he said 10:30. It was 8:30 at the time, but we still had to pay the cover charge. We only stayed for 30 minutes. The drinks were watered down and the staff just stared at us, were not friendly or engaging at all. If you want a nice, relaxed comfortable place, try Janie’s diamond club down the street, it’s a dive bar in the best of ways. That will be our new neighborhood bar. We will definitely not be back to R&R.

Big improvements are being made. It will take time, since the previous tenant basically destroyed the place. It feels way more cleaner and the atmosphere is now pleasant. The place made sure the place didnt feel trashy to welcome new clientele to an everyday improving place. I look forward to seeing more in the future. They also serve food, too.

Fun group of dancing for couples ..or singles. Don Green was healthy enough to enjoy it ..loved all his dancing partners as I enjoyed ballroom style .

Very nice place, dance floor just right, music great, people friendly, need to have more bands coming in every week not just every other week,drink prices are great.

This place charged $25 at the door, they ran out of vodka, ice, lime and more. SO DISAPPOINTED!! Don’t waste your time.

We went there early before 9pm the band wasnt there and they said no cover charge - later they said the band would be playing about 10:30 and for everyone to come up and pay the cover charge - why pay wben we were already in there and no band was playing - thats why they are called r n r - ripoff n ripoff the Hispanic people.
