Massage Envy

I have been getting messages at Message Envy for about 1-1/2 yrs. Emily is my masseuse. She is amazing at her craft. She listens to what you ask for and is able to get at those problem spots. I have body pain from cancer treatment and arthritis and she eases the kinks as she is working her magic. She eased my neck pain at each session and now its gone. I highly recommend Emily to all. She is superb.

Cigi is the best massage therapist I’ve ever ever seen. She is very knowledgeable about various medical needs for massages. I was offered a half off facial right after due to a cancellation and the esthetician was very patient with me and it was my first facial! My skin has never looked or felt better.

Elana does an amazing job! Not only is she super friendly but also so professional. She gave me a deep tissue massage and it was the best pressure I’ve received. Working out a lot is taxing on my body but the 90 minutes was perfect to reset me back to feeling great again. Highly recommend Elana to all she is 6 stars

Elana is so great! I started getting a monthly massage with her because I’m a hairdresser & get a lot of soreness in my neck & shoulders. She really cares to make sure she’s targeting exactly what I need. Elana is super sweet & the monthly package here is affordable! I leave there feeling so happy the rest of the day & sincerely look forward to my sessions with her

I’ve been seeing Candi for about 5 years now. When I arrive at each appointment, I always know I’m in for a treat and I leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend!

Front desk crew is very friendly and helpful. Scheduling is easy. The intake is very streamline and painless. The place has a nice ambiance. Waiting area is relaxing. The bathroom is very clean and fully stocked with anything that you may need. Massage rooms are very comfortable, with table warmers. Daniel, my massage therapist of choice, is incredible! I am a massage therapist myself, so take that as high praise and book him!

Cigi is amazing!! She’s always great about checking in to see how the pressure is, or if she is targeting what your focus was for the massage. She is very attentive and always ensures her service meets your expectations. Great therapist!

Doris Cush: I currently have vertigo and Wayne detected “knots” in my neck. With appropriate pressure, I slowly felt better after the massage. Also, the “spinning” gradually subsided. I still feel it, but the symptoms aren’t as severe as they were before the sessions. Thanks Wayne!

Recently received a massage from Ashely! She was great and very professional. I got a break from the mom life and she helped me feel very relaxed.I do want to comment that the building and office itself felt very unprofessional. Instead of a luxury spa experience, it felt like I was in a dingy office. The waiting area has dusty fake flowers and the leather was peeing off the chairs. The massage room had terrible dust everywhere especially on the lamp. The paint on the wall looked very worn. Overall they need a deep clean and some cosmetic touch ups. The space felt very unprofessional I think i would try a different brand of spas entirely next time.

I always have a great experience at Massage Envy in Robinson. Overall, staff is very friendly and helpful. Erin is an excellent aesthetician that takes the time to explain the benefits of the products she is using. I leave feeling refreshed and always look forward to my next session!

Taylor was amazing. She listened to what my issues were and really worked through those areas. Her massage techniques provided much relief. Next time I may go for 90 minutes!

Not the best overall spa feel but definitely the best massage and facial I’ve ever had. Taylor has “ruined” any massages by anyone else ever because nothing compares to her skill. There’s a reason why she’s booked out for so long. She doesn’t give light massages like most people, she can really get in there and massage the muscles like what I need. And although I don’t get many facials, Erin has been the best yet. She took time to really work with my skin and listened to my concerns.

Perfection! I have half the pain that I did yesterday after seeing Jennifer -(maybe even less?!!)I have some bulging discs in my lower back with sciatica and this is the first morning in a long time but I’m not getting that jabbing pain down my leg. hopefully it will stay like that until the next time I see her.If you’re looking for some peace and quiet and a fantastic masseuse, pick Jennifer!

Chrissy is wonderful. She is consistent, listens to what you want and is always learning new techniques. I hesitate to share this review because she is already hard to get an appointment with because she is so good! 😊

As always, Kelley helps me with her expertise. It amazes me as to how much massage therapy helps me to continue to work at my age (65) in what I do for a living (plastering and painting). She has been a blessing to me and am extremely grateful for her and her abilities !

As a whole, ive had a LOT of issues with massage envy. Between the robinson location and squirrel hill, i was a member for over 12 years. However, yesterday i had an absolutely wonderful experienxe with CG, Christal, at the robinson location. She was attentive, kind, and knew what she was doing. This review is for her. The front desk staff from yesterday was wonderful as well. Im sorry that i didnt catch their names.

Emily was fantastic! It was my first time getting a massage and she made me feel so comfortable with the whole experience. I have chronic pain in my upper back and she melted it away within a few minutes. Ill definitely be back!

Joy was an excellent masseuse, my only disappointment was she started my 60 minute 10 AM appointment at approximately 10:10 & ended it about 7 minutes to 11. I paid for a 60 minute massage but got a 45 minute massage.

I received a great massage was very thorough and relaxing. I would recommend Elena for anyone she is very accomplished at her art.

This was my first time with Wayne and it was great! He asked questions to customize my service. Honestly, when I can’t get an appointment with Emily, there are so many talented providers like Joy and Cigi too. You can be confident you’ll have a great experience.

Nate took the time prior to my session to listen to the reason for my visit and to formulate a plan to address the pain and tightness I was experiencing in my left shoulder and upper back area. Because of this, Nate was able to focus on that area and successfully work out the tension and tightness of that muscle. In addition, I was also looking for overall relaxation so Nate incorporated that as well, which I was so grateful for. I walked out of ME feeling relaxed, less tense in my upper back/neck/shoulders and the burning and pinching in my left trapezius was more than 90% improved! I would highly recommend Nate. He is a very caring and highly skilled massage therapist. Thanks, Nate and ME for a great experience.

Robbie was great. He was personable and easy to talk to. He consistently checked in during the massage for my comfort level. He also took extra time in the problem areas I was having. It was a great massage.

I originally signed up for the Six month message package.I was at the Robinson location in April 2024 I had Robbie the message was good, and when I gave a tip it was well worth it and not given a tip out of obligation.This was my fourth massage there.

Nate does excellent work and even communicates problem areas or areas that he notices have improved since last visit. He gives great advice on how to practice self care.

This time, my 90 minute massage was not as efficient as normal. My usual technician knows the body and appears to understand how to remove stress and tension within the body effectively. One day after my massage I still feel knots or tension in my neck.

Great service and experience. Christina was wonderful and focused on tension i mentioned, and muscles that I didn’t realize were a problem. Better range of motion after, less tension, will certainly be returning.

Chrissy did a great job on my massage. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and cares about her clients.

Terrible experience. Booked a 60 minute facial, esthetician retrieved me from the waiting room late, it was after 2:15 when she started my session and I was redressed by 2:52. Not even 30 minutes hands on. Reception desk could not care less, offered no apology at all when I addressed.

Kelly is strong and listens to what I need. Doesn’t take it personally when I ask her to go deeper. I Always feel much better after her massage therapy. Good luck trying to book her.

I had my first visit to the Settlers Ridge location of Massage Envy on Thursday. It was very convenient. They are doing some remodeling, but surprisingly there was no noise disruption at all. I followed the therapist, Lana, from her previous M.E. location. She is an AMAZING therapist!!! I always feel so much better after my sessions with her. My only concern with writing this review is that more people will now book with her, limiting MY options! I cant wait to make my next appointment!

When I checked in the 2 receptionist were very friendly, when I checked out the girl that was checking me out wasn’t personable at all-seemed like she was in a hurry.I did a 60 minutes massage with Joy. It was super relaxing, she was super friendly and took her time. I will definitely do a 90 minute massage next time, so I can get a full hour of table time.

Had a 60 minute massage from Lori and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. She and the receptionist were extremely friendly and welcoming. I showed up 15 minutes before my massage and was taken back to the room right on my scheduled time. I have the membership and will definitely be requesting Lori in the future!

This was my first time ever getting a massage so I was pretty excited .The staff was friendly and the therapist Kayla was great. I was scheduled for 2 services 30 minutes stretch and 60 minute massage, but after further talking with the therapist she suggested I just get a massage. As I could be in a bit of pain and wouldnt be able to determine which service the pain is a result of. I was given a 90 minutes massage. The introductory rate is $83, I was charged for a stretch and massage in the amount of $103. I called and was told that I paid for a 90 minute massage but my sales receipt didnt show that. I will be stopping in to discuss my bill. Im really curious as to what I actually paid. See you soon 😡

Ive never had a bad experience here, and Ive been going for close to a year now (twice a month). The front desk people are always happy to see you, the massage therapists are professional and friendly and the prices are very fair (join their subscription club for even better prices). I recommend the aroma therapy too.

BE WARNED. If you decide to get a facial, they pop your pimples. I personally have never gotten a facial where they pop your pimples. I also didnt have any pimples to pop, just blemishes that were healing so the lady who did my facial made me bleed. Also not a very relaxing experiencing as she was very rough with the towel and I left with my face looking as red as a tomato and very swollen.

This has to be the worst run locations in the nation. My home spa is out west and I’ve been to other locations across the country which were outstanding. It must be a poor work environment cause therapists just don’t show up, if they do they don’t stay, the admin folks are rude(they talk over you cause they lack customer service experience and training) and the phones are sometimes off the hook for days. It’s a convient location for me but I typically struggle when trying to book an appointment. Nobody is ever available for 90 minutes. If I’m lucky, I get a good therapist otherwise it’s just mediocre. It’s a constant annoyance working with these people.

Massage therapists are skilled but customer service is Horrible and always have been.I had a issue today and the manager told me “I don’t have time to show you”. The manager told me I owed money even though I was already paid through since I’ve had several massages accrued because I’m not able to always make it to M.E. Every month but they get my auto payment so there’s been several times over the years I would have a few hours that I’ve accumulated and needed to use. .When I canceled on January 15th 2021 I was told I had X amount of massages left, so I booked them that day and after i had a massage today (3 weeks later) i was told i owed money. Instead of trying to understand the issue, the manager kept telling me I was wrong and didn’t have time to show me where the mistake was because if that was the case I totally would of NEVER booked more massages after I’ve canceled my membership. I was only using what I had already had credited to me.I’ve learned to find a private massage therapist that values my money and my time. Supporting franchise like M.E. Is a waste. You pay for 60 minutes but in all reality you get a solid 40 minutes with the therapist. So if you’re not booking 90 minutes then it’s really not worth the time or money.

Michael is the best! I used to see him at another massage envy and when I found out he left I was sad. I was going to cancel my membership at that location after having another therapist I didn’t like when the front staff told me he was working here now. I am excited to have him again and this location ends up being closer to my job

Had such a wonderful experience at the Settlers Ridge location! I was lucky enough to have Halli give me my 60 - min facial and it was perfect. Highly recommend! Honestly, the most relaxed I have felt at any location.

11/30/2020- UPDATE. I submitted the required documentation and VERY EXPLICITLY rescinded authorization to charge my card and they charged it AGAIN.ORIGINAL POST:Horrible, horrible customer service. I left a message to request membership cancellation. I received a call back days later with an apology that their phone system was down. Ok, that’s acceptable. I get it.Then, when I called back, they asked if I completed a form- which they SHOULD have sent when I initially requested cancellation, but never did. I checked my inbox & my junk mail. Nothing. Just promotional emails.I called back again. Was told a manager would call me. No one did. So I had to call a 3rd time & the next day, only to be told someone would call me. Finally, I get a call back only to be told it wouldn’t have mattered if they sent me a form or not, it wouldn’t have met the processing time so they would’ve charged my card anyway. No apology for delayed & poor customer service response at all.

I sent my wife there yesterday for a Mothers Day (Gift Card) massage and she had a terrible experience.. I would not advise going here for a massage and heres why.. I paid for an hour massage, and the actual massage time was just under 40 minutes. She even showed up 15 minutes early per their advisement when i scheduled the appointment. The actual massage session was a joke, the person had no skills and absolutely no experience.. Upon check-out, the front desk person asked her how she would like to pay for the session. When my wife informed her it was already paid for 2 days prior, the associate asked my wife to contact me and ask for some kind of transaction number or something,, (The associate had no idea, because we had to enter about 4 different numbers from the receipt). How can they not have records of purchases??.. Once that was worked out, the associate informed my wife that there was a $25 balance remaining on the gift card, and wanted her to purchase additional items, which started at $60. How can there be $25 left on the $75 gift card advertised on their website ? -- The $75 gift card was for an hour long introductory massage.. The bottom line is this - Go to the Asian guys at the mall. Theyre a fraction of the cost, and take the art of massage seriously. All Massage Envy wants to do is up-charge you for everything and provide associates that have no idea what their doing.. Good Luck !

Cant ever get an appointment.My boyfriend bought me 2 secession for Christmas, Ive been trying to get an appointment ever since. My job doesnt allow me to make an appointment 2-3 weeks out. Hopefully my gift certificates will still be good in a year... :-/

The massage was thy worst massage weve ever had. We have traveled to many different countries, have had thousands of massages, in every different form/style, This was literately a rub down with oil and minimal pressure. My therapist Alyssa, started the massage off late and ended early. The attitude of staff was poor and unprofessional, from the gentleman that was asking the CO-VID-19 questionnaire to therapist to receptionist. No one was happy nor professional, Also on the phone some one said that the therapist and us could talk about removing mask once in private but my fiances therapist made him wear mask the whole time and did not notify me. I WOULD HAVE NOT scheduled it knowing that she was going to make him wear it the whole time. He couldnt breathe all night after this.

My flight was delayed an hour longer so I decided to book a facial. I was on time and 15 mins passed and still no one. What I’m guessing is the owner assumed she was in the bathroom and said she called the tech. She comes back and tells me her 4pm canceled so maybe she went to eat. I told her I had about another 5 mins passed and the front desk girl came and said we’re going to have to reschedule you we still can’t get in touch with the tech. NO COMPENSATION! Nothing. I don’t live here and even if I did I wouldn’t reschedule there. Horrible way to handle the situation!

Been trying to get in contact with this location for over 3 weeks. I had put my account on hold 9 months ago because I had 13 unused paid for massages that I hadn’t been able to use because of work. So in February I went to a location and signed a form to freeze my account 9 months later I get a call from my bank that my account is in overdraft because for the last 9 months they have been charging me full price. Every time I call the person i need to Talk to is never there or just left. Everyday they write my name and number down but I still have yet to have received a call back. I was referring people all the time to the company but after this experience I don’t think I will anymore.

Never answer the phone. Massage therapists are skilled but customer service is deplorable. Ive had to call the Squirrel Hill branch 4 times now since October 2019 to get any help. 1.21.2020 I was charged by my bank because boone followed through on my 1.17.20 request to freeze membership. I cannot recommend this location.

My daughter scheduled 90 minutes massages for Mothers day for me and her. Their employee called off. (Second time this has happened to us) I have a job and couldnt just walk out of work so we were told no 90 min massage... what they should of done is bring someone in at 3 when we were scheduled. Then they give us a tech support number instead of corporate number. I was told district manager would be back in 35 min. That was at 5 after 3. Its now 4:54 and no call . Dont go there.

If zero stars were an option, I would give it that. As a gift for Fathers Day, my dad was gifted a massage. He was really looking forward to it for several days, and had planned the entire day around it. Not until he was back in the room preparing for the massage did the massage therapist say there was a problem. Specifically, she questioned the medication that he had taken while in the waiting room, and when my dad informed her that he has Parkinsons Disease, she left the room and came back minutes later to say that she could NOT give him the massage. She was unable to explain to my dad why it could not be done, other than to say that she felt uncomfortable. This left my father feeling embarrassed and ashamed, and completely confused since massages are actually encouraged for patients with Parkinsons Disease. He successfully lives with Parkinsons each and every day, and quite frankly, did not deserve for a massage therapist to openly DISCRIMINATE against him and REFUSE him service due to his neurological condition and what she may have ignorantly thought about Parkinsons Disease. To make matters worse, when questioned about the decision to refuse service, Massage Envy employees became agitated and threatened to call the police after my parents demanded a refund for the gift card used to purchase the massage.Upon speaking to the regional manager about this matter, no genuine apology was given, but rather she supported the decision of the therapist. This is DISCRIMINATION. Individuals with Parkinsons Disease BEWARE.tl;dr My father was refused service because he has Parkinsons Disease. This is discrimination.

Initially tried to make an appointment on line, but they had a server error. So I decided to call. Have been trying to call to make an appointment for days! Message says they have a high call volume and to leave a message. I left a message and eventually someone called back. I asked what the issue is with the on line appointment system...she rudely said “I don’t know”. So then I explained that I’ve been calling for days & I asked what’s wrong with the phones. She rudely said she’s busy.Business is generated and maintained by being available to customers. This business is poorly ran and it really makes you wonder if they value their customers. I ultimately made an appointment elsewhere.Terrible customer service. Terrible business practices.

Do not schedule an appointment online. When I arrived for what would have been my first appointment, I was told that they had no record of it in their system and that their online booking does not work well. If it is a known problem, I feel that is something that should be addressed. Extremely disappointed and will not be giving them my business.

Cancelled services after I waited four months to receive confirmation of notes on appt. After I cancelled they fraudulently charged my card for another month. Avoid this location and company at all cost. Or you’ll be the one paying! I will be taking them to small claims court.

Tried to send my 17yr old in for a massage and as he is almost an Adult Massage Envy wants me to sit in the room with him while he is naked. Thats insane and ridiculous for any parent to be in the same room! If I sign a waiver I know what a massage entails and Im sure if any kind of inappropriate behavior happened from the therapist it will be voiced from our son! I will never go back or use any massage envy in Pennsylvania ever again! Thats like me asking if my adult son can sit in room with me absolutely ridiculous! Other states only make you sign the waiver so shouldnt all massage envys be the same!? Just so ridiculous to me! Lost business for sure
