Came here with a Bachelorette Party on a Sat night... showed promise at first with good music, but then it turned into all rave-y European dance music, extremely loud and hot, which just wasnt our thing, we wanted music you could dance to the beat. If its your style then youll love it. Spilled my beer trying to sign for my card while the bartender was giving me the 2 beers I ordered and she was really nice about it and replaced the spilled one no charge. Friend ordered a long island, for $5 it was strong!!! Okay to visit, just moved on for a different dance vibe.

The atmosphere is cozy, but exciting! Great dance space for getting crazy, but there are a couple pool tables in the corner if you arent feeling like a wild child. Drink specials are INSANE! $2 drinks until 11pm every night, so if you get there early enough you can still party, even if youre on a bit of a budget! The staff is super friendly and ready to help you have fun! The dance shows that happen every few weeks on Thursdays are so fun to watch... Ive definitely learned some new moves from them!

It doesnt matter if youre 21 or 51 , Luna is a great place for everyone. Thats only one of the reasons Luna is so great! Everyone is welcome and its a fun place to be with friends! The dance shows are so much fun and the drink specials are pretty hard to beat! Love the music and the atmosphere!

The pub was amazing and the drinks and music were good. But they are racist.. I am an Indian and they Ill treated me and my fellow Asians. They send me and few other Brown people out of the club stating tht we are intoxicated , when most of the people are not even drunk... it happened today 1/14/2018.. the bouncer was very rude to us brown folks and he was very polite to other folks .... very racist ... will never get back

So this was a good time until a security staff member got on my case for having taken off my button down( I had an undershirt on) and didn’t make a big deal over the fact that 30 seconds later someone threw a beer bottle at my girlfriend and her coworkers. Seriously put a damper on my night. My girlfriend and her coworkers weren’t seriously hurt, thank god, but there seems to be some seriously wrong priorities with the security staff. Other than that it was one of the best nights in a while

Luna WAS my favorite..WAS being the key word. I have spent countless hours and money at Luna only to be lied to recently. I booked reservations for Thanksgiving eve, and when I did this I specifically asked the questions If I have a few people who have to show up later in the night will they be able to line jump?. This question was prompted by two things 1. as I stood in line last year for an hour and half I watched many people walk right in. When I asked the bouncers why this was they told me because they had reservations. 2. I knew I had friends coming in from out of town/working late that wouldnt be able to ride with the rest of us. After asking my question I was told that YES they would be allowed to line jump. The night came and my friends were NOT allowed to line jump. My friend spoke to the lady we made the reservation with and was given a dismissive response and attitude. We promptly left. I have no problem if your policy is no line jumping even with reservations, as was the other bars we spoke too. All Im asking is not to be lied to when I pick your bar for a specific reason and I make it very clear what Im looking for. Luna you are no longer my favorite and itll be a long time before I return to spend my hard earned money at your establishment.

Luna is truly the best place to go out and dance. Open every night except Monday and Tuesday. The staff is fun & friendly. They offer incredible drink specials... Dance shows, live bands on Fridays. My favorite place to see the Killer Flamingos for sure. Perfect place to celebrate birthdays and bachelorette parties.

Everything I hate about the works times ten. That place blows fat baby dick. The dj Saturday night, some Julia chick from amp radio, couldnt beat match to save her life and the track selection was clunky at best. No real parking to speak of. The door check bouncer was too busy telling me about dress code to check the ids of everyone in my party. Oh and good luck trying to smoke a cigarette.

The staff is second-to-none in making sure that you are taken care of when youre there. The music (and accompanying music videos) always keep the crowd entertained and the vibe going throughout the evening. Make sure to check out the different drink specials they have depending on the night youre there.

Went to this place at 9:55om the bouncer told me $5 cover. Said its 9:55pm, thought it was free till 10pm, bouncer replied close enough for meLeft! If they cant tell time what else are they gonna screw up.

Luna reminds me of a laser tag arena turned into a dance club. Great place to get sauced up and go dance. Drinks are cheap and theres a very diverse crowd which is always fun. If your looking for a change of scenery and never been here, definitely check it out.

I been coming to Luna since I was 21 years old and I know going to be 28 years old in March. They now telling people 5$ to get in. They r not open on Wednesday nights anymore. Im here right now 1/20/17 and there isnt a lot of people here. This place was always packed with people. I think they need to not tell ppl it 5$ and they might get more people. Luna isnt what it was. Come Luna get together!

Luna has some of the best music in Detroit Area, good price drinks and seating!!!! Dont be fooled by the location or the looks of the place, it is not very fancy itself but I believe the music is the most important at a nightclub, other fancier places have bad DJs and overpriced drinks.

My drinks were god awful ordered a sex on the beach and got vodka and grenadine handed to me. The bartenders were terrible and rude and took more of my money than they were supposed to, didnt ask if i wanted to tip them, just took their $3 tip on a $2 drink that wasnt even what i ordered. The music was terrible, and i honestly think the DJ was discriminatory against our party for having 2 grooms. We tried to request a shout out for the couple, as we had heard the DJ giving shout outs to the future brides there that night, and thought it was a nice sentiment. He told us no, that he doesnt do that, even though we had JUST heard him do it.The only reason they get 2 stars is because the security guy that helped us was very kind and apologetic for his terrible coworkers. And assured us we werent the only ones who had these complaints.Get your act together Luna!

Luna was my favorite place to go to have a good time and hear music Ive never heard before. The drinks were wonderful and the dancing was fantastic! Unfortunately they have hired a new, very rude, dj who only plays over run crap from the radio that you can barely bust a move to. Idk if its a 955 dj but he has the right attitude to be one so I wouldnt be surprised. I requested 2 different songs an hour apart and he told me I was annoying and should leave. I am disappointed to say the least. Get the old dj back luna because that guy isnt doing you any favors.

On a recent Saturday night Luna was very crowded, which was to be expected. However, they only had one functioning bathroom in the whole place and the other was being snaked while people walked all over the place. Im fairly certain they should have just closed and sent everyone home as the floors were soaking wet and the smell was awful. We will not be back.

We had so much fun. Drink specials were great. The dancers were fun to watch. Staff was friendly. Wish we wouldve thought to come in costume for Halloween, though

If there start less than 1 , thats how i would rate this place. Last night, total of 9 indian people including myself were not allowed inside by 2 security guards. In specific a big tall older black guy, and a white guy who dips. They were letting everyone else in who isnt indian looking. They told us that we didnt have the proper attire, while they were letting guys with t-shirts, shorts and flip-flops inside. When we asked what the reason was, they said We dont need a reason verbatim.

Great place to party. Great drink specials and great priced drinks. Like to come here to get away from the normal daily grind. Great place to have a birthday party or just to party in general. The bartenders are good looking AND nice.

If youre looking for a place with people wearing their yoga pants to the club...sports bras out...and well low fruit pickings this is your place! Music was fun drinks were reasonably priced but dont bother dressing up at all.

They just want to throw you out if they are packed. Absolutely rude and no etiquette to talk and behave with people. If you need proof, then go there on a weekend at 11 and count the number of people they push out.

This place is sad. Watered down drinks. What a waste of a Saturday night and $5 cover. Left after an hour of House of Pain, Salt n Peppa, Nelly and lil John. Absolutely terrible tracks. Get with the times it is almost 2019, whatever was poppin 20 years ago should not be on your regular rotation.

Thursday night is Throwback Thursday so that was definitely a lot of fun. Drinks before 11 were $2 then went to $3. My only complaint is that the area inside is kind of small so be prepared to wiggle.

Cant get service to save your life. Music so loud youll end up outside in the smoking section all night even if you dont smoke. Pool tables arent very good and the bathrooms are disgusting.

My girlfriend and I tried to come here for a night out. They refused to let us in because my gf had a small amount of camo on her hoodie. Said we had to put it back in the car, but I also had a camo shirt on. Duck this place, they were letting other people in who were dressed like bums

They claim to only play top 40 songs only. But when artists such as A$AP, Jay-Z, or T.I. are requested they reject the suggestion and offer a only pop songs from artists such as Chris Brown or Pit Bull. Decent club, not a wide variety of music.

In Saturday the bartender with silver hair in the little bar so mean I asked her for Jamison with Coca-Cola she gives me something else with Vernos, when I asked her to change it she said get the f here or Ill call the security, then I tried to see the manager no body give a f for me

Racism was more they are not allowing Indians to go if we go more than three, not at all fair. The guy at the door saying that u guys harassed the girls but it was the first time we went to Luna. Very bad.

Never been but....I was searching and reading reviews and after checking their Facebook page; Im not sure if these people are racist but I will say that aside from the same black girl in 1 or 2 photos....I didnt see anything but white people on their Facebook page....not even a single chocolate drop in the background

If you like tramps that dress and act trashy, then Lunas is a good place. There is definitely not a shortage of these types of females.

For a club drinks are dirt cheap 2-3$ especially before 11. Staff is very busy as the place gets package they are polite.

Not a 18 and up club. Its 21 and up exclusively. I googled 18 and up bars in michigan and got luna first choice. Called them and received a recording saying that they are always and exclusively 21 and up.

This place needs a new DJ.Music was too quiet.Lots of $&#% song hard to dance to.1/4 of songs were new and hip.
