Sandy Station

We went here for years and go to the fights there all the time. The manager has been great he treats us like VIP. I was a little sad to see after the fights that the club area seems like it has been turned in to more of a hang out. I loved it when it was Lumpys. The staff was great. We have not had any problems since it changed over I did notice the new bathrooms ( GREAT ) sad it lost that night club feel. I did have a problem this last time I went. We had reserved seats for a large group and a couple that said they were friends of the owner was throwing a fit with the manager and he moved our seats to give them a better view. The couple was over the top RUDE to the manager and even glared at me when I said it was my table they were trying to take. The manager moved us but it was still good seats. IF I WERE THE OWNER I WOULD NOT ALLOW MY FRIENDS TO COME IN AND TREAT MY STAFF THE WAY THEY DID!!!!!!! The only problem I had was after the fights we moved to the big area and could not get anyone to serve us so we ended up leaving. I will be back for fights tho!!

Seems this place has had its ups and down but, we went back not too long ago and it was super FUN! A lot of games, great food and drinks. The music was good. The feel I got was a mix of a college sports bar and a vibrant atmosphere. The bouncers seem professional and vigilant.The bar bartenders worked fast and were really nice with a smile on their faces. It looked like they enjoyed what they do which is awesome.They also have fire pits in the back outside patio. Bathrooms are clean and updated. Didnt get the chance to dance on the dance floor because we were enjoying the free pool and other fun games!

So Friday night, you can count the people inside. They charge $5 at the door, its understandable they are going broke, not making sales, they could charge $10 to exit and make much more.The place is sticky, the tables are sticky, and for a place that is not busy, and most of the tables were empty, is pretty stupid. The waitresses look underage, and they cant seem to handle the massive wave of people (sarcasm) yeah they have a beer selection, but which bar doesnt?There is nothing special about this place, besides for the bouncers and the special person at the door taking your $5 and yes I mean special like the ones that get t-shirts and go to special camps.I most certainly will not recommend, nor ever return, and Im not from Utah. Ive been to a few places in Utah, and this by far was the nastiest.

Im sure this food has potential, but I would never purchase anything from here again. We bought $80 of food off grub hub and they did not keep the dressings separate from the burgers or nachos. We ended up with $80 worth of baby mush. Didnt end up eating it because it was so bad. I do not recommend delivery or take out.

I like Sandy Station. I never actually come here to party and dance on the weekends when its a club. I usually come here for lunch. When it isnt a packed out club environment, its a large, wide open space thats mostly empty. They serve food and drinks all at a cheap cost and you can watch SportsCenter as you come up with business plans over food before you head back to work. Its not high class, it isnt low class, its not really a restaurant, more of a bar, but the food is decent. I have no problems with this place and I find myself there often with it being so close to my office. Stop by if youre in the area.

We came here tonight for a birthday party, confused by what happened to Lumpys South. It did not take long for us to be disappointed by the service. Bar service was fine, but personal treatment was demeaning and disgraceful. Our friend who is in a wheelchair was disparaged for turning his hat backward, while no one else displaying the same behavior was talked to.We were on the dance floor shocked by a womans nipples hanging out of her dress for practically the entire night, and several couples engaging in animalistic sexual acts publicly, but were scolded for having cocktails on the dance floor (that we were mindful of, and not spilling). Our friends birthday was ruined and I am honestly confused as to why offensive behavior is tolerated but normal people acting acceptable were targeted. Disgusted, disappointed, and insulted. Refuse to return.

****TERRIBLE**** STAY AWAY!!!My wife was trying to arrange a little birthday party for a friend of hers and have about 15-20 people attend. She started trying to make contact on Tuesday for a Friday night event. No reply by Heather the event coordinator on Tuesday. So my wife tried again on Wednesday and again no response. Thursday she was busy so she went down there on Friday afternoon and meet with the owner. I believe his name is something like Durb. He apologized and said we would be taken care of and have a great private area.Well about 15 of us show up. We get placed on the back side on 3 little tables and no decorations or nothing. We have a server that is dedicated to us but she is terrible. A small little blonde with bad breathe and a terrible attitude. We were her only table and we never saw her. We waited for ever for drinks and food. She brought out a dish that nobody order and when nobody claimed it she just left it on the table.When we had about enough I went and found a manager and tried to see if we could get some improved service and help them keep us as customers. I believe his name was Daniel. He tried for about 15 minutes but then he gave up as well. So we asked for our checks. The server gave us un-itemized bills, so of course we asked for the itemized ones. She of course tried to charge us for the dish we didnt order and a couple other items. When we tried to dispute them she told us no. We knew nobody was going to do anything about it so she got her way and it came out of her tip. Which of course was pretty small anyway based on the lousy service, attitude, and follow through with our party details.On the bright side. When we left we went to Bout Time in Jordans Landing and had great service. That server walked out with a total tip of about $160 from the 12 of us that made the trip out there.

What happened to Lumpys South???This place changed hands overnight it seems, and has gone downhill accordingly.We came here often when it was Lumpys, and attended a birthday party tonight, expecting the same, but we were in for a shock when we pulled up and saw the new sign, and it only went downhill from there. The club is the exact same but the clientele is shockingly worse. The dance floor has become sparse, with an upsurge in perverts ogling from the side. My friend was scolded by a bouncer for wearing his hat backward, but a womans nipples literally hanging out on the dance floor, and people disgustingly close to public intercourse were ignored. The bouncers were demeaning, the club has lost all of the decent clientele, and the atmosphere is unappealing. STAY AWAY! Unless you carry mace.

It was crowded but fun. I lost my phone and someone gave it to the bouncer.The person who gave it to the bouncer has a good heart.then in return, the bouncer met me up and gave me back my phone:! Such an angel. These guys are awesome. I will return and give more business. Thank you:)

Seedy, noisy, and waited 20 minutes at the bar for a drink. Its a cool property with multiple bars and a very well-designed outdoor patio. Unfortunately this is the only positive, thought I was going to get some kind of disease just being there.

It may not have been the cleanest (but what bar is) or the busiest (better than fighting crowds downtown), but the bar tenders were so sweet! I will miss this place! Good times!

Stay away from this club! The people there are looking for fights and the bouncers have big egos and use inappropriate handling. One of the bouncers PUNCHED my GIRL friend in the chin and threw her phone and shattered it. She was not even the one fighting, Horrible place that needs to be burnt down.

Great time on Saturday night. Awesome DJ. Hot girls. Free pool. Amazing wings. Fast drinks from the staff. Highly recommend.

The drinks are very over priced yet badly watered down. The music is so loud you have to scream in someones ear to be heard.

I would like a refund as well. The advertising was definitely misleading with start times & information about the artist. I left after 2 hours. Very disappointing!

Good bar service but the du just kept changing songs so fast that didnt even match. it was bad

Worst bar ever!!! The tables were sticky it was dirty and the service was horrible! ! The lady at the door was horribly rude. I will never go back and neither will my friends.

*They are closed now. We loved this place. Too bad LHM co. wouldnt renew their land lease...

Karaoke and not so much drama... Really friendly in my experience and love the hospitality!!!
