American Legion - Smyrna Post 160

This is NOT the typical American Legion you may have heard about or grown up with.. Todays American Legion, especially Smyrna Legion Post 160 is a gathering place for our military, veterans, and the community. This Legion is filled with a vibrant mix of age ranges; veteran and military; relatives and civilian guest. Did you know most Legions, including this one, is open to public? Did you know they offer a mix of activities from volunteering to karaoke. Its not just bars and bingo, in fact theres no bingo here, but we do have Keno. Post 160 has been a staple in Smyrna and a good community citizen for 75+ years. As a Legion family, they participate in Keep Smyrna Beautiful Adopt-A-Mile, the Smyrna Safety Foundation Shop with a Hero, offer a Food Bank to feed their neighbors, is one of the largest donors to Cobb County Special Olympics for over 20 years, and many more programs. This Post partners with local business like Adventure Outdoors and 1911 Biscuits & Burgers. For military and veteran families they offer resources and assistance with health care, housing, and specific concerns, as well as fellowship with fellow service members. Hours have been reduced during Covid, but theyre open Thursdays and host Team Trivia at 6:30 PM. Friday and Saturdays they offer karaoke and special events, often times a band in the ballroom on Friday nights at 8:00. No cover charge unless stated for a special event. Simply come and sign in as a quest in the lobby. The Post offers a full menu along with nightly drink and dinner specials. Smyrna Post 160 also has meeting and event space for rent; offering a medium sized conference room and a seperate full ballroom with bar and kitchen. Their staff chef can even cater your event.Note this is my home Post so Im partial to the cause of the American Legion and this local Post!

The post is OPEN on Wednesdays from 4pm to about 9pm. We are doing country night and line dancing on Wednesdays

Veterans and folks who support Veterans.Open to public Wed-Sat. 4:00 onWed is 1/2 off wine, Chef David Specials and music.Thur. Is Lockheed Day and enjoy a Lockheed Burger & fries enjoy with Free Trivia.Friday is Keroke and Saturday’s events vary from live band, Comedians, Derby Day, & Comic Con etcMany local charities are supported:Girls & Boys State, Breast Cancer, Adopt -A-Mile, Back to School programs Children’s Christmas Party and Thanksgiving meals, Special Olympics and Milkedgeville Nursing home visits ..

Very dance food friendly

This place is amazing. They have Karaoke with Reggie every Friday and Saturday. The sound is great. Affordable food and beverages. A home cooked spaghetti dinner every Wednesday. They even have a party room to rent for special occasions. Lastly, I can honor my local Veterans and be a part of wonderful community.

Rodney always takes care of you. The dinner specials are good especially the catfish and salmon, we drive from north Marietta when they are on the menu.

Great place for veterans and families to meet for dinner and participate in activities on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also have a Ballroom, Conference room and social areas for rent for your business or family gatherings.

I Love this Legion it is smoke free and Amado the waitress there is simply the best all the people there are super nice and Reggie and Chris are the greatest kjs and great singers . This legion also has the best singers My only complaint if I am paying 5 dollars to get in and I have driven a very long way to sing with Reggie and Chris I would like to have the opportunity to sing at least 2 songs and I would strongly suggest that they take there show cases back to once a month because they do have a long rotation of very good singers.The sound and acoustics are great and Reggie and Chris Amanda and everyone are just. Simply the best

Great people, cheap drinks, fun community atmosphere. Been a member for about two years and have met many wonderful people through the Post. If you havent been, you should definitely go!

Pretty well disorganized event. Potato salad and beans tasted homemade scary and pork came with watery BBQ sauce with no choice of getting it on the side. Iced tea took four cups of ice to cool off Must be Yankees.

Great food, great bar, even greater people. The cooks are fantastic, bartender Rodney is awesome, server/bt Nic and Michelle are amazing, and the Commander Doc is the best. Always a good time at this Legion. 👍

Great place to be, awesome atmosphere, huge bar with an awesome food selection. Everything cooked to order, people are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone

I’m proud to have served as the first African American Commander of American Legion Post 160. I hope and pray that people of all ethnicities and nationalities continue to find this Post as welcoming as it was when I was the Commander.I send a huge shout out to the Chef, David, for his ongoing support and loyalty to Post 160.The Post also has a Community Food Pantry eligible to all qualified persons in our community.

I went in as a guest and came out as a welcomed friend. So much respect and appreciation for one another. Plus food, entertainment, and post service support.

The American Legion Post 160 in Smyrna Georgia is one of the best lounges in the area for people over the age of 35. We invite all veterans to come and enjoy their weekends with us and hopefully join the legion. We have one of the best KJs in the area every Friday and Saturday night. Come in and join us I know youll have a great time.

This is my favorite chill spot. A place to relax and listen to People do karaoke. It also has other activities. A place to meet Vetrans.

Great people great food great music If you love to sing and dance its the place to be Friday and Saturday night

A very nice venue to host events. Parking can be a challenge if you have a very large gathering.

Excellent Price for the Ballroom rental for 200 people. The best price in town!!!!!!!!! Excellent catering service!! Highly recommended.
