Ranch Hill Saloon

Fantastic little bar. Smallish, little dance floor, couple of pool tables. Drinks are great, patio outside for smokers. No smoking inside! Staff is VERY friendly and attentive. Owner and Manager are both great! Everyone is friendly and ready to be friends!!!! If you live in the north area of Houston, make it a point to drop in. They do monthly drag shows, other events on Fridays, and drink specials throughout the week. This is a gay version of cheers for the whole GLBT community and I saw a few straight couples in there hanging out with their friends from the GLBT community who were made to feel welcome as well. Music was a varied mix of everything. 80s, 90s, recent stuff, country, you name it, the DJ had it going and was taking requests! Very neat little place to have a drink, hang out, catch whatever event is going on.

This is a really cool place right off the express way for the lgbtq+ community. We came In on a Sunday and were very happy with the free pool they were offering. The bartender was very nice and made us feel very welcome and the drinks were decently priced. The Ranch Hill Saloon felt very inviting. We might come back for karaoke in the next couple days. We had a great time and will stop by next time were in town.

If you want a place that will welcome you with open arms come here. Debbie the owner is always willing to greet people as they come in. You have Jenn, Simon, and Chelsea behind the bar slinging your favorite drinks and DJ Cori and Ryan playing great tunes. It is a non judgment zone and you can be who you are. I visited Ranch Hill Saloon on a Friday night. I can’t believe I had never been to this place before! It’s a super cute LGBTQ bar. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and happy. I loved that they didn’t allow smoking inside. They have a cute patio area outside for those that want to smoke. I was really impressed with not only their drinks and hospitality but also their DJ! This is first bar I’ve been to in a while that has played such a great variety of music. Everyone was having a great time. There was something for everyone! I was also able to see one of the Drag shows they have there. I love drag shows and have been to many! Ranch Hill Saloon had an amazing drag show!! I was very impressed. Overall, this bar is amazing. I highly recommend it !

This is a great place to hang out. Very friendly and attentive staff, along with friendly and welcoming customers. Bartender even remembered my name after only introducing myself once before. (little details make a difference} There is a mixed crowd, a couple of pool tables, a jukebox, and on weekends a disc jockey. They also have a nice outdoor patio if you want to chill outside.

10 out of 10 would recommend Ranch Hill Saloon. Such a great find for the LGBTQ community. You walk into a fun and great atmosphere right away. The owner and staff are great and ready to serve you drinks and be your friend. The owner was very sweet and shared her story of how the bar came to be and has been there for 17 years! Its 10s across the board from the fun drinks, great bartenders, cute patio out back, amazing djs with great viraty of music. They hold events weekly and monthly. We happened to catch a fantastic drag show that night! Stop in and visit this gem out in spring and bring all your friends!

I do love this bar! Many many great times here. And prices are great also. The owner and staff are amazing people! The only reason I gave it a 4 🌟 is being of the music. This is a Saloon, we should get to here some good ole country. Yes they play country but more Hip-Hop than anything. And I love that too! I love to dance! My thing is when no one is on the dance floor...the wrong music is being played . A lot of us stop going because we really didnt get to dance much. If Im not dancing them Im not buying!Besides that it really is a great bar to meet people and have a few drinks. The drinks are always ice cold and ready to go!

Great place. Not-so-great staff - at least not in a professional manner. They get involved in peoples business, and they let their friends affect their work duties. Some tenders take and give out free alcohol, others remain professional. Based on my observations, there needs to be a strict line between work and play. When I used to go, at least one specific tender would avoid serving me at all costs. Twice, I just left cause she would refuse to close my tab, despite nobody else being at the counter. Otherwose friendly staff, and great venue. The place just needs to shake out some of the limiting factors.

Happy to call this place home after moving to the area 4 years ago. I found myself at Ranch Hill on a Monday night and was greeted warmly and welcomed back every time since then with open arms. You can’t beat this staff and the drink prices and specials/events are worth the trip alone!

DJ on Saturday plays a good mix of every thing. This is a gay friendly bar for the most part but everybody is very friendly. Definitely would come back here. Jennifer is a very good bar tender and very attentive.

This is my place to go to. Too bad Jenn doesnt work here anymore. She was my favorite bartender. The service now is not so great btw. The guys behind the bar would ignore you and then maybe after 10 minutes get your drink (On a not busy night), well one of them the other one would ignore you completely.

The young ladies at our bachelorette party were having trouble finding a place where they could dance, dance, dance. This particular evening was cold and rainy and upon a vote of the ladies, we decided to check it out.We spent the rest of the evening at Ranch Hill and the ladies had a wonderful time. Great environment, warm inviting atmosphere, the music was great for a dive bar. The drinks are s little pricey though, smoking is allowed inside. Other than those two things overall great place.

Drinks are always cheap and generously poured. The atmosphere is always filled with positive vibes and people looking to have a good time. The bartender Simon is friendly and extremely hilarious. I highly recommend this place!

If your in spring/woodlands and gay or curious this is a very nice local bar and hangout. Drinks are cheap even off happy hour, DJ is fun, and the crowd is eclectic. Worth a visit!

My new favorite place Simon is so nice and friendly. He makes me feel at home. My first night I came alone, and made friends because of him.

Loved the bartender, very lit, he kept our whistles wet and we got our rocks off( Apple Crown, Michelob Ultra, my partner and I enjoyed ourselves, surrounded by beautiful people

It is physically impossible not to get enjoyment out of this place. The drinks are cheap, the bartenders are glorious. Go check this place out! Its worth it.
