I have been a member for years. I am very particular as I have trained as a massage therapist in Southern California . I have found several therapist I like… the only reason for 5 star is I am not happy that I pay $75 monthly… have over 23 credits ( been too busy running my business to schedule “me”time… I like that they have facial now so I am trying to use more of my credits, but I’m disappointed that I can only credit or gift one of my credits to the same person once every six months. I paid for them… I should not be forced to spend with such restrictions!

The year long membership fine print, the overly-complicated cancellation process tactics, and the outdated payment management for cancellations is reason enough to stay far far away from massage envy.

Scheduling and staff. My wife makes a massage appointment every week and this facility has failed to honor that appointment with a massage therapist. No offer to schedule a massage at a later time that day or rectify the bad experience. Best they offer is a facial? Seems like theres only one massage therapist on staff who always calls in especially on Saturday or Friday.Probably shouldnt keep staff around if they continue to call in sick and management doesnt do anything about it so both parties are at fault.This is for the Indian springs and Magnolia locations.

My son lives more than 1 hour now from nearest Massage Envy. He has lived 3-4 hours from nearest one. He moves with his job and may soon be 2-3 hours from nearest ME.We bought membership when we had 3 within five miles of us in Houston, Texas area.We’d like to transfer his unused sessions to me, also a member with my credit card paying his monthly feeOur base Massage Envy says “no”Some locations will do this for members who live far from a Massage Envy.

I could NEVER fully express how wonderful this location is!! The front desk staff is professional, friendly and always willing to help in any way. The manager, Steven is wonderful and caring. Ive known him since he worked the front desk, and was so happy he was promoted! Now, my Massage Therapist, Luke. I am so thankful to have been his client for at least the past 8 or so years. Hes truly amazing, attentive, and he makes sure I am comfortable. and relaxed. I have pain issues, and he is empathetic. I am quite sure the messages have a positive physical and mental impact in my life. I was also fortunate to meet the new owner to tell him that I feel so at home here. BRAVO!!

Fairly friendly staff and I always got a good massage. But I had a bad experience with membership. My sister-in-law had called my husband about his opinion on me getting a membership. He said he was against it, but I could. The lady at the desk translated it as he said yes! So I got home and got in a fight. Hard to get a relaxing massage after that. Then, after the original membership period, the membership just continued. I didnt realize (they never called or anything because they got me confused with another member) until a year later. I had just one month to use up 12 massages (impossible when you have kids and have moved to another state), and could only transfer one massage to someone else for an extra $10.They were not very flexible even when I told them my problems. So I would recommend it for a massage from time to time, but definitely not membership.

Lost my my money here! Ill give them 2 stars for customer service. This location has really courteous customer service is excellent, front desk is always welcoming but the business practice of Massage Envy is not great. I purchased a 3-month prepaid membership and lost my money they said its because I didnt use the membership within the 3 months of purchase. That sucks! This membership should never have expired and customers should be able to use their prepaid membership at anytime. Its money I gave them for future services, this should be honored no matter when I returned....at least make it within a year. I hate the fact that I lost my $200 and will never go to Massage Envy again.

The staff is very courteous and friendly, however I found the business practice and contract misleading. I purchased a year membership and used half of the sessions. Due to personal issues I was out of town several months. When I returned I knew my membership was close to being completed. I read the contract I signed and it states“If contract is not renewed, is cancelled, or is terminated for any reason, you will have a 60 day period after such no renewal, cancellation or termination to redeem any accrued but unused benefits. We may in our sole discretion, extend the time period for you to redeem accrued but unused benefits, but we are not obliged to do so.”The management was not willing to work with me on this so I lost 5 sessions. Be very careful and read all the info on the contract. Ask questions!!

Weve been members of this location on and off for years. The staff is great, the facility is nice, clean and relaxing. We have never had a problem with memberships or cancelling memberships. The staff is very deliberate and careful when explaining membership and charges. We love Luke!

Over the last few years, I have had several appointments cancelled at the last minute due to therapists calling out sick. As an understanding human being, I happily rescheduled all of those appointments. However, the one time I forgot an appointment because life happened they said they were charging me for it & they wouldn’t do anything for me. Poor customer service at this location has caused me to cancel my 10 year membership at Massage Envy. Avoid this Massage Envy location!

What started out to be a sweet as Candy relationship with ME, ended up being a rotten egg.My account which I opened this year, shortly before COVID has been suspended since March. For the last 3 weeks, I have been receiving text messages stating that ME was having a small problem with my account and I needed to contact them. I called them behind each text message, requested to cancel the account because:1) my bank card has been updated and they were trying to get payment information when there was no service rendered since March......go figure2) COVID 19 is a beast....As we all know!3) Poor Quality of customer service....I waited 4 weeks for a cancellation form after receiving 3 text messages, placing 3 calls and giving my email each times.Today 12/21/20, I called, spoke with the morning manager on duty (Kasey) whom was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, to inform that I had not received a cancellation form email. Kasey literally told me that she had completed the cancellation form for me. Not without my consent/authorization. I GUARANTEE you that before it was over, I received the email to complete and sign my own cancellation form without forgery. I know my RIGHTS.

While visiting family. In the Woodlands,I had a massage by Justin- he was awesome, professional, and kind. He did not know me- but was able to quickly assess the best way to alleviate some of my issues and tailor my visit to that outcome

Overall not a bad place & its clean. They always have ice water available . Massages are spot on, if you get the deep tissue. Everyone is nice and friendly. The only negative thing is the membership contract, there is virtually no way to get out of the contract until you 12 months is up. I would also like to see massage envy offer the Ashiatsu Massage. I would definitely get more massages if they had Ashiatsu. Other than that everyone is awesome, keep up the good work!

If you want a place thats just out for your money and all about taking yours, then this is the place to sign up! Would not recommend this location to anyone. They ruin the brand name and make all other branches suffer for their lack of care for the client.

WARNING!!!! This is not a safe for women.My family has been assaulted at this location.Please find a safe environment.**** Update****** My wife would not have massage again at Massage Envy...she had 16 and Massage Endy said she would need to use them all in 2 months.Today they canceled a facial and time runs out tonight...so they will keep 4 of her sessions...RIPOFF!!!!!
