I had a really good time today taking my first massage ever, thank you to my friend whom introduced to Julia and everyone at Sun Massage Therapy. It was a great experience, the lady that gave me the massage was very friendly, kind and made sure that I was having a good experience.I did one hour massage, and flew by. I was very tense, and she work very hard to release all of it. She did a very good job. I really recommend everyone that is looking to relax and have your own moment. I left the place feeling my shoulders light, and my feet were not hurting anymore. I am definitely coming back soon. Thank you again!

Sun Massage Therapy provides the best massage experience I have ever had. The environment is cozy and clean, which adds to the overall experience. I have been a regular customer for some time now. I remember the first time I visited, I was experiencing terrible muscle pain due to stress and emotional strain. Sun helped me relax and heal my body. The service is excellent, and the price is reasonable. I appreciate the affection, respect and peace I receive every time I visit, and I always recommend it to others.P.s I love to attend with my husband as well!! 🥰

My therapist located all the most tender spots on my body and carefully eliminated all the tension. She also did gentle stretching and mobility. Absolutely fabulous massage!

Sun Massage therapy is my go-to place for a massage. I go 1-2 times per month and see Julia. Julia is not shy when it comes to pressure and that is the reason I keep returning. I always have an amazing nights sleep after a massage from Julia. Highly recommend!

Julia is great master in pressure points and help release my neck and shoulders pains, and my lower back pain! My husband also goes to Julia every month for his muscles pain as he works in construction field, he says he only goes to Julia, she really knows how to get the muscles relaxed! All her staffs are excellent and professional, and the environment are great!love to go see them and help relieve and relax my body muscles!

Making appointments at Sun Massage is very easy. The staff are very friendly people. The massage therapists do a great job. I always feel renewed after visiting them. Recently I was having muscle pain for weeks and Julia’s deep massage removed many knots in my body. She also stretched out many joints and showed me stretches that help me loosen up. Thanks for your help!

I have just today visited this place for a couple massage and have had one of the best experiences ever. Julia and her therapists are very knowledgeable, skilled and very kind. We are for sure going back very soon!

Excellent place for a massage. Very clean and organized place noticeable right from when you walk in. I started to visit here about 1.5 months ago and glad I did. I have seen Fen a few times and she gives a great massage. I always sched with her now. First they asked if any specific areas are bothering you and what type of pressure (light, med, hard per se), they will still do your whole body but if you have a certain area of soreness they will focus there a little more. Massage beds are prewarmed so when you lay down it’s very comfortable. Fen’s massage techniques are great and my back and legs feel so much better. I have also seen Julie once and she is great as well. Very nice customer service. I don’t think you can go wrong with anyone here, overall a very comforting and clean place with skilled massages. I am now a regular customer.

The massage was great. But the details of what each massage entails was unclear even in-person. But they do address and treat the specific muscle pain or issue. It was my first massage and I felt I started out in a great place. They did have quite a few regular customers. Definitely planning to visit them when I am in Boston again.

I love this place. It has an unassuming exterior on a busy street, but inside is peaceful and friendly and professional. Ive had 2 massages from 2 different practitioners and they were both excellent. My new go-to place.

I have mild neck and back pain and I have been coming back for healing massages several times. The healing massages did exactly what l want - to relax instantly and to reduce muscle pain and discomfort. Julia is professional and always asks upfront the pain area and puts enough focus to that. You could feel some pain during the massages but this short term pain actually serve to heal the tissue. I felt much better on the pain area after each massage and l also sleeps better likely because l also got relaxed mentally. I like this place a lot but every person has different requirement and expectations to a massage. 5 stars in my mind and would definitely recommend you to give it a try.

Far from a relaxing atmosphere… I’ve been twice now (only because the reviews were so phenomenal that I thought it deserved a second chance after a mediocre first visit), and I am even more disappointed after that experience. First, I’ll speak to the auditory stimuli. No music played during the massage, so I spent the whole time listening to cars on the street (except when my masseuse literally answered her phone and proceeded to have a conversation while I laid partially covered and cold on the table). You can also hear everything in the waiting area, to include the insanely loud bell that rings every time someone opens the front door and shouted communications between masseuses. It is very difficult to relax with all these things going on. I also think they keep the rooms too cold for it to be comfortable, but that may be a personal preference. Finally, the massage itself… The root cause may be a simple language barrier, but I went in for a very specific, back-related reason. No matter what you tell them or ask them to focus on, they ignore your request completely and do a standard full body session. I left with the knots in the back still intact… So even for the reasonable price, I unfortunately would not recommend Sun Massage Therapy.

Julia at Sun Massage Therapy is knowledgeable, professional, and wonderful. I had muscle pain in my neck/shoulder for a week and I was having a hard time turning my head. After seeing Julia for a deep tissue massage, the pain went away after two days. Sun Massage is a clean and welcoming space and I would highly recommend this business to others. It is reasonably priced, especially given how high-quality the massage was, and I am making this part of my self-care routine. They have evening and weekend hours. This place is one of my new favorite Watertown gems.

The building was small when you look from outside, but when you come in, it is a completely different even environment.The owner welcomed me so warmly.I’ve played sports for 10 plus years and with all of the qualified hands that I have worked with...I had never experienced treatment quite like that of which I received from my masseuse Julia!I am quite a large guy and I requested for 90 mins massage. I was referred to Julia by another therapist who felt she could help my shoulder pain and tightness. Ive had adhesive capsulitis for almost 5 years, and have tried several methods of treatment, none of which have had any lasting effect. After a few sessions with Julia my shoulder has noticeably improved. She was able to diagnose my problem immediately and what areas needed treatment. I have had difficulty sleeping due to my shoulder tightness and am now able to sleep without a problem. She is very accommodating with her schedule and very friendly and professional. I highly recommend her.

Had a shoulder injury could barely move my left arm my 1st visit was Saturday evening Julia took care of me very professional lady she is awesome knew 100% what needed to be done. Very grateful . Holy wow, that was hands-down the best massage I have ever had in my life. If you truly need muscular healing and manipulation, go here. I am a former athlete of two decades and have numerous certifications pertaining to the body, so I have definitely had my fair share of massages but this place mixes science and anatomy with true intuition. It’s a really feminine experience but also not messing around. I had to leave this review before I even left the driveway ha ha. Will be back in a week.

Recently began seeing Julia on a weekly basis to deal with neck and back pain. I was amazed at her talent, knowledge of the body, skills and experience.After years of pain and many other therapists, I am finally finding relief here! I can’t say enough about her, she is warm, kind and dedicated.Son Massage is extremely clean and they are practicing all the recommended protocols. I felt very safe here.

My low back and neck pain noticeably improved after 3 visits to Julia, and I plan to continue going.

I am I migraine sufferer that has one of tension in my back and upper shoulders. This was one of the best, most thorough massages I have received. I added on thirty minutes during because of what an amazing job she was doing getting out all of my knots. So much time spent on all problem areas. Highly recommend. Ive been to Several massage therapists thru the past 30 years. This is hands down the Very Best Ive ever been too and have gone several times despite living so far away from Boston area! A definite must try! I go for the 90 min deep tissue massage, my favorite.

I dont even want to talk about how inappropriate this couple massage experience was. Its triggering and Im pretty sure I should sue them.But thats besides the fact that the two masseuse were unprofessionally talking loud to each other during almost the entire couples massage. Not just one or two things for necessary communication.All of that on top of the fact that I asked for my feet to be worked on being that Im a tired mom of 4 kids.They completelt ignored my needs and left me (and my husband) feeling truly violated. Sick.Edit to add. I have been to many massage places, I know what to expect. Ive even recieved massages in different countries around the world; this experience was awful.

I have only been to a few massage places over the years. But I enjoyed this place. I felt they listened and focused on my neck which was a problematic spot. The masseuse was very polite and professional. I will return at some point.

Everybody here is so kind and accommodating. They took me in right away. The room is very comfortable and I loved the silk sheet. Sasa is an incredible masseuse- I got the deep tissue massage and I felt so great afterwards! Highly recommend this place.

Julia is the best massage therapist to see when you have pain that want a deep, hard massage. She knocks you on your feet! I dont get massage very often but when I need it she really gets in and focuses on the trouble area!
