Best relaxing spa

I booked an appointment online at Best MG Spa after spending 30 hours traveling and needing some body work. I parked my car in the lot and walked in, and was greeted by someone who I can only assume was Evan, since he did not introduce himself to me. I was offered an opportunity to use the restroom, then guided to one of the multiple massage rooms in the facility. The room was clean and organized, no strong scents, and there were disposable covers for the massage table, which was nice. The massage therapist then started setting a timer with a standard timer that you often find at gyms...very loud in its beeping.The massage itself felt solid enough. I was not asked about any pain or areas I wanted focused on, so I guess I got the standard experience. About halfway through the massage, there was a slew of text messages that came in onto a cellphone that was in the room that wasnt mine (I had put mine on DND mode). Ok. And then at some point, the massage therapist left the room, and then came back, and placed hot stones on me without notice. And the door was left ajar (maybe to keep an ear out for the rest of the store?). Once my time was up, the beeper loudly went off, and I was able to go on with my day.

Great experience! My friend and I had a 60min massage and did a facial. The place is very clean. And the people here are professional. And there are a lot of free parking spaces.

I’ve always left other massage places not feeling satisfied. I finally found the place I been searching for! Evan is especially. I went in with my entire body feeling tight because I taking boxing classes during the week. My shoulders were tight as could be. The full body massage for 90 min was amazing. I left feeling my posture improved and that tightness is gone. I’m still amazed how good I feel. I’m so glad I found this place. I highly recommend it. I also got 30 minute foot massage add on which was also amazing. The staff is friendly which is always a plus. I cannot wait to go back.

Ive been visiting Best MG spa for the first time and enjoyed my time there. The Swedish and deep tissue massages are especially helpful for recovery after ultramarathons. My latest deep tissue massage with Sunny was outstanding. I plan to continue visiting due to the excellent and affordable services they provide.

I have been struggling with shoulder pain and feel pain free for the first time in over a week. Weihong Shi went above and beyond. Every detail in the spa environment and of the massage annd scalp therapy itself was thoughtfully and intentionally executed.

I have been going to Best MG spa for a little over a year and I always have a great experience. I’ve had both Swedish and deep tissue massages (which have been very beneficial in recovering after ultramarathons!) Most recently I had a deep tissue massage with Sunny, who was fantastic! I will definitely keep returning! Very affordable massages of high quality.

Out of the massage parlors I have been to in Melrose, Brighton, and Allston area; I would say that this place has been pretty flexible and welcoming place in terms of service without having to pay a deposit for scheduling unlike someplace. As for the most important part, if you are unfamiliar with massage please ask for lighter pressure. Otherwise the massage overall was good for maintaining overall health. I had such a wonderful experience at this salon. When I came in I was greeted by multiple people and immediately felt welcomed. The salon is very clean and smelled great as well. Their chic design was a bonus. My massage was top tier and I highly recommend Cece and this salon to anyone. Have been here a handful of times and this will be the last time back. Most recent experience I booked an online appointment but they proceeded to say they don’t check their online site when I arrived and couldn’t take me because all the therapists were occupied. I sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes listening to a pair of therapists having a conversation in one of the rooms. Clearly going off their own schedules and not respecting customers time - lay off this place. All the good reviews are referring to past therapists who have left the spa - for good reason.

The staff at the clinic were friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions I had before we got started.During the treatment itself, I felt minimal discomfort, and the laser was used with precision and care. I also appreciated the attention to hygiene and cleanliness, which made me feel safe and comfortable. After just a few sessions, I could already see a significant reduction in hair growth in the treated area. Overall, I highly recommend Best MG SPA in Watertown for anyone looking for a safe, effective, and professional laser hair removal service. The quality of the massage was good. However, she asked in the beginning if there were any parts that were sore. I said my low back and left hip. She said most people have shoulder pain. I said my shoulders were fine. She then went on to spend most of the time on my shoulders and very little on my low back or hip. In the end my shoulders felt great, but it wasnt what I went there for. So, if you want a good shoulder massage Id recommend this place. However, I do not think I will go back.

This place is amazing!!! I had a couples 90 minute massage and my massage therapist worked out all of my knots. They were extremely professional and accommodating even when we were running late. Just when I thought the massage couldn’t get any better they busted out the hot rocks and I almost fell asleep. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and decompress. The staff are really friendly and kind. We will definitely be back! Five stars!!!! ☺️

Loved my experience at MG spa! Went for a 90 minute deep body massage and phew what an amazing one! Arrived 3 minutes before my appointment and was checked in very quickly(temp check and sanitation )and was on the massage table in time to start.The ambiance is quite nice with soft music. The massage was really good. The right level of pressure after confirmation with me. Loosened knots in places I didnt even know there was a muscle. Great value for money as well Im giving a 5 star! l will definitely be back soon！

I had a wonderful massage here earlier today! After weeks of stress at work with the busiest part of my role, I scheduled a 90 min full body massage with Best MG, and I dont regret my choice at all! This spa is incredible! It’s a little gem with great hours and a super attentive staff. I had a thirty minute facial and thirty minute massage. Both services were amazing and they even accommodated for my friend and I to be in the same room. 100% would come here again.

It has always been a great 1- hour full body massage experience. The whole area is small and feels intimate and quiet, you can totally relax your body there. Would recommend being a member and keep going back.

My husband and I went to their new location in Allston. The owner Ashley is really welcoming, and their team Susan and Michelle did a fantastic job for our couple’s massage. We will definitely come back again!

I must have gotten them at an off time because I tried this place out for the good reviews. I made an appt the day before but, it must not have transferred on the schedule. I walked into an empty front desk. Waited a few minutes while I heard someone in the back. I didn’t want to disturb any sessions going on if they were so I walked around to find someone on their break (maybe?). He jumped right into the session which was nice to be accommodated but, I don’t think he is a masseuse. I chose medium pressure and OUCH! Lots of elbows on my bones, specifically my spine and lower back, and that is not comfortable especially when it’s pressed in for long periods of time. There was a language barrier so I tried to move out of the way when I felt in pain to avoid that type of contact but, that didn’t really help all that much. Time was over before the massage felt done. Coming out after the massage, the front desk woman was very lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is serene, perfect for a spa. The masseuse had clearly tried his best but, it was just off from beginning to end. Maybe will try again if I’m in the area and ask for a female therapist.

This place is a real find! I have had many massages and MG massage is one of the best I have ever had! I experienced two different therapists and both were excellent. They knew just what my body needed and I could tell they were highly trained and very professional. The place is relaxing, very comfortable and super clean. I am now going on a regular basis and have recomended it to my friends.

Everyone I met here was so incredibly kind and accommodating — I requested a softer sheet instead of a towel and they immediately were so open to my request and so considerate when speaking to me about the services. I will definitely be coming here, as a regular! I had a particularly exhausting work day and Ashley at the front desk and masseuse Angela really made the day so much brighter. My husband and I went to this SPA for the first time. Very nice experience! I have been trying different massage therapist at other places but haven’t found a good one so far for deep tissue. Jessie is great and she can spot my pain point very precisely and apply the right pressure. I felt very relieved with my shoulder and neck after the 1 hr session. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage or just want to have your body muscle relaxed, this is definitely the place to go. The place is also very clean. Highly recommended!

This spa scammed me. This was me first time getting a foot massage with my wife. I paid for the 1 hour massage at $65 per person. I gave a $20 tip and they told me that it wasn’t enough, and a minimum $20 tip was required for each person. A scam!!

I went for the first time a couple ofmonths ago and got their promotion so I was able to go twice, plus give my mom a certificate. I went to the Watertown location. I first saw Chloe and then XiXi the second time. Both times were amazing. My mom went to the Allston location, very nice there too. XiXi was at the Allston location when my mom went. She said her session was super relaxing and enjoyed her time. Over all both locations were very clean, welcoming and had great hospitality. We will definitely make our way back to the spa. This place was absolutely amazing! The staff in front desk greeted very delightfully and answered very politely all questions and the services were great. I had Angela for my visit and she was great and definitely trilled with her work.I would truly recommend here and for sure see myself again next time.

I had an amazing body massage for an hour. One of the best I’ve ever had. My therapist seemed extremely knowledgeable and found knots I didn’t even know I had. Hope to return again soon, even though I’m not from this area. Highly recommend this spa.

This is by far the best massage place I’ve tried. Andy knows exactly what he’s doing. I always feel this tightness and pain on my back. he helped me removed the muscle knots on my back and calf and the hot stone massage are the best! You will feel super relax after the massage. This is a newly opened spa. Very nice and clean environment. The location is bit tricky to find but they do have enough free parking space outside. I had my lower back pain for a long time and the therapist did a great job. Forgot to ask about his name but highly recommend this SPA. Price is also very reasonable.

I like this place very much and often come for massage! The whole environment is very quiet and relaxing. The room for body massage is separate, and peoples privacy is very important. Pedicure is also very comfortable. I recommend you to come here often!

As an endurance athlete I have a greater need than whats provided at your typical massage. Seek Tony if you need a strong set of hands that applies just the right pressure if youre an athlete. Its equivalent/better than a sports massage you typically get at at PT location. All in all highly recommended.

To be honest 8⃣️, the staff are very friendly and lovely. I only made an appointment for facial surgery, but because my legs were sore, the lady helped me press my legs, and after seeing me twisting my neck, she pressed my shoulders and arms ( They are all very comfortable and the technology is top-notch). The key is that they don’t charge me any extra money for pressing the button! ! ! Two days ago, I had a wound on my hand. The lady saw it and applied aloe vera on my hand. Then she ended up blow-drying and arranging my hair.Usually I rarely tip, but this time I tipped more than 20%. The experience was perfect, even after traveling across mountains and rivers.
