Massage Envy

I’ve had some good massages there. This isn’t about their therapists. However, the customer service is not their strength. I had an apt cancelled on me last minute even after receiving a confirmation text the day before from them. No one ever told me the person I booked with would be on vacation. (This apt had been scheduled for a long time, too. It’s difficult to get booked there)I had to ask three people to have a manager call me. It didnt happen until the third time. She informed me they still send out the confirmation text in case no one ever called to tell the customer about the cancellation. That seems like a flawed and confusing system. She also informed me that I never even had enough credits for two sessions I had booked. I specifically asked if I did when booking as I wanted to use all of my credits before my membership ran out.

Always my favorite Massage Envy location in Albuquerque. There is adequate parking out front and staff members at the front desk are helpful and kind. Thanks Massage Envy for helping me along on my personal health journey. I have the best massage therapist in town!

Everybodys always professional at massage envy period I egalized them in Phoenix and a New Mexico period always great experience period summer sauce, is there a pisbetter than others, but all of them have been professional for the last 4 years that weve been members?

Yvette was the first person I talked to at the Holly location. Unfortunately, I didnt have a pleasant experience. She was unkind and I felt rushed off the phone. She would continuously interrupt me when I was speaking. I tried to explain what I meant, but she kept cutting me off. I ended up canceling my appointment because I honestly felt unwelcomed. I understand places are understaffed and people are overworked, but I genuinely think kindness is very important. Please treat others like you would want to be treated.

The therapists are great here but the front staff sucks. It’s always some type of scam with them. Do not join the membership whatever you do. When you ask for help on your they always “can’t help” or “it’s beyond there control” “I didn’t take the transaction”. I canceled my membership believing I was done with them but guess what next month they charged my account again. I called and they refused to refund it stating they had ten days to process it and whatever payment they had in the meantime was not there fault. Even though the lady on the phone told me the account cancelation had been process the day before I got charged.

Staff is vet rude. I was a member for years, upon cancellation I was given incorrect information by a team member when I questioned the information I was transferred to the manager, Amanda. In talking with her, I certainly see how rude behavior is not only tolerated by employees but encouraged. Amanda was hostile from the beginning and when I questioned yet again the specific dates, I was given different information than what her staff gave me.When I told her that was not the information that I was given previously (mind you previously was 1 minute before) instead of apologizing for the incorrect information her staff gave me, she said “well I wasn’t there so”She then became even more hostile when I mentioned this could have all been avoided had her staff given the correct information in the beginning or if she had handled herself differently.I am very disappointed in the behavior, and this staff could benefit from de escalation tactics and some basic customer service skills. . I look forward to hearing from the general manager as I have requested a call back.

I had the worst experience at this Massage Envy. I don’t recommend Darrian. She was continuously rude to me and during the massage she complained that her hands were too tired to massage. I had never experienced this before and don’t wish it on anyone! Only employee worth mentioning is Ashley at the front desk. She did a great job trying to make up for my experience.

Zaine at the Holly-Ventura location is excellent! He really worked out some problem areas for me and helped me feel so relaxed and comfortable!!!

Stay away from this branch . The branch on Holly is much better. Manager Lauren is incompetent and charge you surprise fees on top of your monthly membership payment without apology or caring . Will never be a member at this branch again. Gave one star because the massage therapists are good. They end up quoting a lot. (No doubt because of management) so you have to change massage therapists a lot.

I was quoted a much lower price when the front desk originally booked my massage. I paid double that. My massage was an hour long and my lady came in 6 minutes late and left the room 7 minutes early. The massage was ok I don’t feel better. Overall I wouldn’t come here.

The therapists at this location are very good. My favorite is Jamie, she is a healer, she does light medium and deep tissue. Jackie and Emily are also very good. She front staff are great too. They try very hard to keep things running smoothly!!

The therapists were wonderful, but a few front desk errors ruined my entire experience. There were mistakes and I am still waiting for a call to determine where I stand. In addition, upon speaking with presumed management, she didnt really seem to care much about my membership. Guess its easier to lose a customer than put in a little work to rectify a situation.

Worked here for over a year and my co-workers were pretty much family to me.Got promoted and then Shana Oh became very aggressive in saying I dont know how to do my job. She talks down to every employee and makes you feel as if you are way lower then her.Asked to talked to owner as I wanted to come back after I quit, but instead, they had Shana call me when she was the reason I quit in the first place so I ignored all calls after that.I will always think of the staff as my family because I grew a bond with each person there. I loved our clients and especially the therapists who work there. They also started hiring any front desk associate that would apply and so we had a very crappy front desk team at the end of my employment and now I have heard their new clinic manager is awful as well.I was the assistant sales manager for some time and they wanted me to run the entire clinic when Shana was going back to El Paso but with no pay raise. When I said I wouldnt do it, that is when Shana started bagging me on how I do my job.Overall, it is an amazing place to get expierence and have a loving work team. But management, especially Shana Oh, do NOT know how to treat their employees and wonder why the turn over rate is so high.

The staff have been very helpful when I move from the Wyoming location to here, and when I use my credits to set an appointment for my uncle from Cuba. Who not only was having his first massage , but also doesnt speak English, has diabetes, and is missing a leg. From the receptionist to the therapist , all were very nice and understanding.Really, a bad review for not giving the right directions? Petty.

Made a appointment a day in advance and informed the staff of a problem area from a few months ago, to which they responded that it was no big deal and put me down for a time. 10 minutes before my massage they gave me a call to inform me that the masseuse would not work on me. I arrived at the parlor to ask why, as the problem area was a very old injury and spoke to the masseuse and she said she didnt feel comfortable doing anything because she requested I have a doctors note. This was dissapointing because this was not brought up when I scheduled in the first place both over the phone and online. So unless you have a doctors note giving a years worth of healthy standing, dont bother coming here.

Tried a couple therapists and really enjoyed it! I now always ask for Rachel! For a great experience, speak up as to what you like or dont like. Front office always nice and helpful.

I was supposed to go in for a massage but the person that i was to meet with was a no show, instead they accommodated me and was given another service with Erin, she was professional and very nice.I will definitely be back to book another appointment with Erin.

I wish I had joined years ago. Im use to paying $80 to $100 for an hour massage. You can get an hour massage as a member which is only $65 a month (which goes toward a massage so really doesnt cost anythingas far as Im concerned) then each additional hour long massage ends up being $47!!

They refuse to provide services to health care workers who have been around COVID positive patients even with proper PPE. Completely unacceptable. They are at higher risk of contacting covid from someone who doesn’t know they’ve been exposed, than from a health care worker who utilized proper precautions at all times. I will never give this company any of my money ever again!

Had a 2:00 pm appointment. Got me on the table 2:05, sat there for 10 min, she finally came back in at 2:15 then finished at 3:00. Glad a paid for an hour massage just to get a 45 minute massage.

Skylar is the best for facials. She is so sweet too. She always makes sure you are comfortable and relaxed. You can tell she loves what she does. I always walk out of there feeling great! Thank you Skylar! See you soon =)

Front desk and massage therapist were very nice. Massage was satisfying, no different than one at home. However, you can hear orangetheory banging around the whole time.

Tamara was an awesome help she got me set up with appointments that worked well with my schedule and answered all of my questions! It is always clean and my go to spa 🙏

Awful company, horrible management. Its all a sales pitch for a useless membership. I would take your money elsewhere, local massage business, not a franchise that only cares about membership sales not the customers massage experience or independent contractor youll get better service and not pressured into a membership!! Horrible horrible company

It’s hard to find a consistent therapist and each one is so different, but this overall is a good business to get various services. It’s very clean, professional, and welcoming.

Not worth the money at all, and I am not even sure I could call it a massage. I felt no different from when I walked in, very disappointed.

Be cautious during membership cancellation. Even after cancellation they still charge your card. And when ask for refund, they will say they wont refund the money but we can redeem only the services for that money. Never recommend this place to others.
