The Penthouse Club - Baton Rouge

I would give zero stars if possible. I went with a friend and his wife. We were charged $55 for a beer, wine, and a crown and coke. How in the world is that $55. I spent 15 years working at the gold club in Nola. The BR penthouse club is a joke. 1 cute dancer the rest were either overweight or tatted up like a biker bar and I have been to them too. The night was a waste of time. I should have went and bought a handle of crown hired real strippers and had a party at motel 6 it would have been a better experience. I dont see how they can call themselves penthouse club. Give me a break. more like leftover and overcharge center. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for showing up to work there. Looks more like Southern komforts 2 on Bennington. All new girls and staff needed. In other words DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. GO TO NEW ORLEANS. IT IS A JOKE.

First time here last weekend and I was very impressed with the club. Dance prices were pretty cheap compared to some of the more expensive ones that costed $40 for a dance and $300 for back room. The lighting and decor was very cool.The staff were friendly, it didnt feel like they were trying to pressure you into giving away more money. I was happy with the dances I got, they all stayed until the song stopped playing. They didnt take any shortcuts. The customers were friendly too, I talked to some of them. Will be coming back and I highly recommend this place to anyone else!

The security guys are extremely rude for no reason. Ive never seen anything like it. Theres a certain way to talk to people. I wasnt doing anything wrong and I was minding my own business. I was told I had to move. Theres a better way he could of handled that!

I had a blast at this place. Im a have to come back for the 30 minute dance with my girl Naughty Natalie. I also wanna see her wearing something other than the witch costume she wore on Halloween night. I like her personality and she seems like a genuine person. Thats why I want 30 minutes with her.

Best strip club in Baton Rouge & surrounding parishes, great price for entry fee, absolutely gorgeous setup inside, mirrors lining every wall from top to bottom, very nice use of space and 2 connecting stages so each girl gets 2 dances everytime there turn comes up. Bar is expensive but thats expected in any club, especially one of this caliber. Girls working both bars & girls going around to tables so you can order drinks straight from the table, no getting up required. The VIP rooms are very pricey. 30 minutes in the smaller room is $275, small room for a hour is $350. The large room with extras for a hour is $550. Expected it to be expensive but not that much i was thinking half those prices. A lapdance at your table is $20 maybe 2 minutes, its 1 song, the songs seemed shortened alot but I cant say that for sure, it could have been full songs but I dont think so, these should be priced at $10 & theyd make a ton more money, if people have it theyll spend it all there still but just get more dances equalling happier customers. The semi private rooms upstairs for lapdances so you have a girl to yourself & they pay all attention to you, Its very nice but only one song for $35, I still believe there shortened to around a minute and a half to 2 minutes, just when getting relaxed its over, if they charged $15 per song theyd make so much more money, people are there to spend money & even if cheaper theyll still spend it all & probably hit up the atm for more, this will also help people that arent rich, & could allow a person with low income to have a great weekend as well bringing in even more money. very nice sound system, music selection and lighting system, its a very clean environment, professional staff & bartenders, & the dancer girls were absolutely beautiful & very very sweet, if you go with your girlfriend or wife there very respectful & will approach your wife first to see if its ok. They have specials on some nights & there usually different & unique. EVERY employee there from bartender, dancer, greeting/help staff, security & all others truly worked very hard for there money, it was slammed tonight but still made everyone happy as explained above. Very nice place to hangout, drink, talk & have entertainment. Have a drink at the bar, a table or even up by the dancers stage. I highly recommend this place & hope they read this, especially about the pricing ideas. I had great time & spent way more money than intended because its so nice, if prices were cheaper on both types of lapdances I may have spent more because thats alot more private dances for the money, keeps you there longer, puts you in better mood & happiness, having a good time & cheaper dances would increase bar profits, theres alot more money to be made everywhere by lowering prices of atleast the 2 types of lapdances, Seems backwards I know but its not & its absolutely true. Also when people are happier at these locations in particularly here but basically all types of businesses, they spend more money & thats been proven. Some people also will be drinking more to have a good time. Very nice place with very nice & appreciative people, especially most of the dancers say thank you several times & even again randomly if passing by them. Theres a couple that could use new attitudes but the rest of the girls were absolutely great. Make that price cut on lapdances & hire more girls, work the numbers from paying them vs how many more lapdances are given & I guarantee more profit & more happy customer as thered be plenty more girls when its crowded, therefor less customers having to wait meaning more lapdances per 1 to 2 minute songs at a steady pace meaning again profits, this will keep people there longer & drinking more, spending more of there money giving more profits. Its a idea worth checking i promise.

The friendly and beautiful bartender named Chelsea is so awesome. Enjoyed her company and smile every time I’m there. Love the new stage and view of the entire layout since the new management took over Gold Club. Definitely the best gentlemen club in town. 10/10

Happy hour isn’t what’s advertised. Not really an issue if the place was better over all. This place is possibly the worst place I’ve been to in a long time. You can’t seat yourself. Most Girls are subpar.Pros. Waitstaff is great and bartender has a heavy hand.I feel like a Karen but you can go to twin peaks and see the same thing there and get good food.

The staff here are super polite and fun!! The dancers and waitresses are absolutely gorgeous with amazing personalities and the bartenders are quick and efficient with all their customers and their orders! By far one of the best clubs I’ve been to in BR!

The atmosphere is AMAZING!! I’ve been on random nights and several different party nights. The entertainment is phenomenal and the staff provides exceptional service, no matter what the occasion. I always refer clients and personal friends to the Penthouse. Very classy place with gorgeous ladies and a level of professionalism that exceeds expectations.

Came in on a Thursday night didnt stay long due to work; club didnt start to sway till about 10pm but its very nice and all the ladies are lovely and sweet. I will be coming back for another visit, hopefully on a weekend.

This place sucks dont go here for a good time if was the worst.

I am in town for a month I saw these place, it look nice but I didnt like its the discrimination, I am Hispanic I had money to spend, even to pay 10 hours or more in the main suite, thats 600. I was their for 3 hours no girl came to me an ask for a dance or the girl that did the shots. Worst experience ever, nice club but bad service. Plus they dont do full naked, if yall go to Houston tx u will find lots of full naked strip clubs.

Club had waterd down bar stock, lazy girls, but if you ask the bar manager nicely enough, and know how to grease the wheels, the club keeps a hotel room next door. of you are so inclined to be a valued patron..

Had a great night over there tonight. Me and a friend checked it out tonight and the place was quite busy!!! We sat at the bar and Ciera the bartender never let our glasses go dry and all the girls were quite hospitable!!

Went to go do an audition request and they told me bc if my tattoos id be better off somewhere else. Ive been a dancer for 8 full years and Ive never been treated with such disrespect. Its ok tho. Ill find me a place

First time coming here since they changed the name from The Gold Club. The vibe in this place has definitively changed since then. The dancers are not near as outgoing and friendly. They are just sitting there on their phones with no interaction and not engaged at all. Really sad on how this place has fallen since the Gold Club days. Maybe I just picked a bad night.

I always have a fun time here. Some of the best pole dancers Ive seen grace the stage. As long as you pay the girls, theyll pay attention to you!

I expected more from a club with the Penthouse name, the girls were alright but they were more content sitting and talking to each other than the patrons. Im pretty sure I spent more on drinks than girls. Never coming back here.

I had a great time. It was my first time at an adult entertainment facility. I was shown a lot of attention. Very classy place that looks just like the pictures.

Came with PLENTY of money and ready for a fun environment, thats not what this strip club is.... Stand off-ish strippers and stuck up, lol, never dealt with stuck up naked girls in all the many strip clubs i have been to. Very tense and shady people running and working there, its more of a creepy vibe then anything else. The bar is under stocked and the drinks sub-par. Trust me I love going to strip clubs and have NEVER been disappointed until our visit Saturday to what used to be The Gold Club. The lounge at Ruth Chris is more lively then The old Gold Club, oh I mean Penthouse strip club. Will the old owners please BRING BACK the Gold Club?!!!!! You will not get your moneys worth and over pay for a club that under delivers. The decor is nice, thats about it...
