From the front staff to Olivia the masseuse made the experience fantastic! They were very professional warm and inviting and fun! Olivias hands and technique were like magic!

Very clean and beautiful. Friendly staff. Amenities. Therapists were quiet and had good energy. The wrapping with blankets and hot towels are really nice! Hot stone for my husband was a bit too hot he said. But otherwise we really enjoyed it and will come again!

Jasmin was AMAZING! I have had so many deep tissue massages but she was probably the best. The atmosphere was amazing, the front desk was so polite, and besides Jasim being a master of her trade she was also extremely professional and kind. I cant wait to go back.

Everyone is so friendly from the moment you walk in the door! The waiting area is very comfortable and relaxing and as I was seated they offered a choice of refreshments. I had a 60 minute Indulgent Facial with Sydney. She was very friendly and professional. She addressed my specific issues in a caring manner. She explained some of the steps before beginning. The measures she performed and the massaging techniques she used were very relaxing and effective! I felt amazing when she was done and I could see the positive results in the mirror as well! I always have a great experience and highly recommended this spa!!

Our massage therapists were prompt, professional and delivered two of the best massages we’ve ever had. They did all of this while set up in a smaller guest room at L’Auberge. They made the best of the situation and delivered top notch services.

Victoria gave the best massage for relaxation. She used some really amazing and novel techniques I’ve never experienced before. Loved the hot towels during the massage. And I appreciated her feedback afterwards. I would only go here and book with Victoria if I lived here. The spa facilities are amazing, comfortable and clean.

Been going for a bit over 6 months now. I really enjoy my esthetitician Sydney. Weve formed a good bond, and she is not only attentive to my skin but my allergies and sensitivities. Shes incredibly knowledgeable. Only thing is that I did these as couple facials for the most and unfortunately, all of the other aestheticians have left. Its unfortunate as she is the only one, but she is a super star!

Derek was wonderful as always! He found some knots I didnt even notice and worked them out, along with all of my usual problem areas. Would always recommend!

Juniper is a very gifted massage therapist. I felt very safe in her energy. Her flow was intuitive to my body and she almost put me to sleep! Very relaxing! I had a Lavender aromatherapy experience and it was perfect after a long work day. Highly recommend Juniper!

The absolute best massage of my life! Ive been getting deep tissue therapeutic massages for over 20 years and Todd at The Emporium is hands down the best Ive ever had in my life! First of all, he presents with a calm and relaxed vibe. He incorporates different techniques into each massage to customize exactly what your body is needing. I feel bad giving this place such a low rating. Everyone is very nice.But thats about the only nice thing I can say.I booked a massage for my mom and me. My masseuse pointed out a condition I have which I stated on the intake form. I also stated where I wanted to have them concentrate on the intake form bc it asks.I felt extremely uncomfortable after that and tense. Though he did ask me where I wanted to concentrate the massage he didnt really do anything and it also low key indicated to me right away that he probably hadnt read it as he didnt have it with him or mention it. If he had he would have known i had a condition before the massage.There was no real pressure applied and he never once asked me if he needed to adjust or if I liked it. The bed was also not heated.My mom said her masseuse didnt seem like she cared about the massage. She asked her masseuse to adjust the pressure and the masseuse responded that my mother would have had to book a deep tissue massage. The masseuse also only did half her body and stopped at the designated time without having completed the service she was paid for in full.The place is standard massage spa prices but the service, decor, caliber of goods sold do not justify the prices at all.My mom did enjoy her facial, no complaints. She said the person was great.I felt really uncomfortable after what happened during my massage. I got a back facial and the person kept trying to push a $50 product on me bc it had 2% salicylic acid. Many salicylic products have 2% concentrations and are priced better. There was also a weird smell around the area I rested my head on. Wasnt sure what it was but it smelled vaguely like garbage. Very distracting and made me feel gross.Overall a very weird uncomfortable experience for both of us. I did not feel good spending money there. I did leave a standard tip and so did my mom but we both did it as a courtesy.Both agreed we wouldnt go back except for a facial maybe.Will say Front desk person is very nice and its nice to have a business in that area. I do hope they make adjustments and take feedback to provide better service.

It was our 1st couples massage at The Emporium and we came out feeling relaxed and relieved from muscle tension after long travels.We worked with Ashlea and Bonnie. They were very professional, focused, and not chatty. Did wonders. Staff was also very nice, making us feel welcomed and comfortable serving champagne while we waited. We will definitely come back to Baton Rouge next time!

I will most likely NOT be going back there again. My mother and I booked a 60-minute couples massage for deep tissue plus mini hot stones and sinus pressure massage add ons. Our appointment was scheduled for 1:00-2:15. We arrived and checked in at 12:58. The lady at the desk told us to have a seat in the waiting area which we were sitting in there between 5-8 minutes waiting to be brought to the room. Once we got back there to the room, the massage therapists told us to get undressed and they will knock before entering to make sure we are descent and ready. After about 3 minutes passed, they just walked back into the room without knocking. They didn’t know if we were ready or not. That came off to us as them being in a hurry. Then the massage did not last a full 60 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes as the emails states. I will say it lasted between 45-50 minutes. I checked the time on my phone when they were done and it said 2:02 and I’m pretty sure the session did not start until maybe 1:10 or 1:15. You would think the head neck and face massage for sinus pressure relief would be separate from the actual 60-minute deep tissue body massage session since it was an add on and cost extra. The mini hot stones was more warm then HOT and might have been use on me maybe a full minute at the most and only on just my back, not my legs and arms as well. Once we left out the room, the two therapist were just standing outside of the room close by the entrance with cups of water in there hands to give to us, which was VERY weird and stupid to be honest. Then they only had complimentary water and some cheap nasty tea bags for the hot water. Most spas give a glass of champagne and a snack such as some grapes crackers or cheese at least. Like we paid $300 for a 45 minute massage which was supposed to be an hour and 15 minutes and some water and not bottled water at that. Time that was wasted sitting in that waiting area was time that could have been used towards us getting undressed and been given a robe and some slippers at least before pulling us to the back. I guess the $300 was just used in paying there pay checks. Only reason I gave two stars instead of one star was because the atmosphere was nice and clean. First and last time. Never Again Emporium!!!

I got a facial with my mother the other day as as a treat . The place was so cute and the facial felt great. However, 3 days later and my face is so dry… it looks like I have been way over exfoliated…. I’m honestly not sure what is going on. My skin looks sunburned and super flakey. Not ideal, I’ve had facials all over the world and never a reaction like this.So not sure about this place now.

Paige is top-notch!!!! I must first say that all the staff were extremely nice and the décor was beautiful as well. I brought my teen daughter who struggles with acne to get a teen facial for the 1st time and I am so thankful I did. Paige was understanding and listened to her concerns and made her feel extremely comfortable, was very knowledgeable and had a plan in place to help her skin out. A week after the appointment Paige was texting me checking in and suggesting things as I reported back to her. I highly suggest visiting the Emporium for any of your spa needs.

I love this place and the therapists are wonderful. I have been going to Rebecca since they reopened in their new space. She is the absolute best- she asks the right questions but lets you quietly relax. She is very intuitive about how much pressure to use and what you need. Today I tried cupping and it is so amazing. I also had a facial with Rainie. Super relaxing and very soothing to my skin after traveling. She knew just what to do, and my skin feels great. I love the Emporium and would highly recommend it!

32m and 28f couples massage experience.My fiancé had been experiencing a lot of joint and muscle pain for a while, so I decided to book us a couples massage for Valentines Day. I found The Emporium through Google and called Friday to book an appointment for us Sunday evening. The person I spoke to over the phone was very pleasant and scheduling/paying was easy. I was surprised they could book us on such short notice for the weekend before Valentines Day but it was the day of the Superbowl so maybe that was a factor.It was less than a 15 minute drive from the house, and had its own parking lot which was easily accessible. My fiancé was super pleased when we walked through the door because I didnt tell her where we were going, and we were greeted by the receptionist who offered us champaign and delicious cupcakes. We filled out a quick survey on tables in the nice and cozy waiting room, then after a few minutes our massage therapists came and brought us to our conjoined room which was quite esthetically please and had relaxing music that matched the warm dark ambience. Our therapists went over our survey in regard to what we wanted them to focus on, and they ensured we were comfortable. Jessica did my massage and we feel bad that we cant remember the male assigned to my fiancé because they both did a fantastic job. Once it was over, they left us to get dressed and then greeted us at the front with water. We had a super pleasant chat with them and the front desk receptionist for a bit before departing. Gratuity was included for Valentines, but I made sure to leave a greater amount because everyone treated us so well and gave us a wonderful experience.The cost of a couples massage of this level is no small amount of money for us, but it was money well spent. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed, and for days after, we kept noticing how much easier and effortless it was to get up and move around. We both highly recommend The Emporium and well be back soon!

Nice place and kind staff.Unfortunately, the massage was good, but not great. I had better deep tissue massages in the past. It did not last 60 minutes, but less. When I arrived, I was asked to fill a form where I had to specify areas I did not want to be massaged and area I wanted them to focus on. Clearly, the therapist did not read it. I arrived few minutes late so maybe thats why she did not read it, but she could have asked. Not a bad experience but not worth $105+tip in my opinion.

The beds wasnt warm, they didnt use the ankle support to hold our feet up at the bottom, my wife didnt get her hot stone massage at all, and they used the hot stones on me for only 10 minutes. We expected a lot more for the price we paid.

The best place for a massage HANDS DOWN! Perfectly welcoming, a very calming environment and definitely experienced hands. Above and beyond experience from Ms. Jasmine, she also recommended a few things to help with my overly tight areas. 15 out of 10 recommended. A huge possibility I will be coming here again.

I was having the worst day, and I know I looked an absolute mess. However, when I walked in, I was assured that I had truly entered a judgement-free zone. If that wasnt convincing enough, just know my therapist was Todd. Todd was a dream come true after having a nightmare of a day. Im sold! Ill be back in 30 days with a friend (or two).

I have visited Massage Emporium twice in the last four months. In January 2020 I was in a bad accident and, since then, deal with consistent upper back pain that has not been resolved by physical therapy or massages. In September 2021 I was visiting family in Baton Rouge (Im a BR native but moved to Houston, TX 6 years ago) and experiencing pretty intense back pain so I booked a last minute massage with Derek Greene. Hands down, the best massage Ive had in my life. Derek identified several issues and spent time specifically working on problem areas. He was extremely friendly and asked questions to be sure he was addressing what I needed, and he checked several times during our session to be sure things felt on track. I saw Derek again in November 2021 on my next visit to BR and the experience was just as great. I wish I could fly him to Houston for massages! I will be visiting him every time I come to BR, and recommend him to anyone. The facilities are also clean and quiet. The service is solid and the ability to book online is great.

Im long over due for a super relaxing, mind blowing, deep tissue massage but when I find the time, I will definitely be booking with The Emporium ! The booking process was super easy, the customer service was stinking awesome and the ambiance was definitely relaxing and calm. Ive had their couples and single messages and I enjoyed both. You should definitely check them out.

Been in town for work and back was feeling tense with some lower back pain. Went for a deep tissue massage which also comprised of specific stretching. Did wonders for me during the weeks. Exactly what I needed. Bonnie the message therapist was excellent.

The massage therapist, Derek Greene, said in the middle of the massage Can you do something to cover that up to stop it from showing (he was referring to the side of my breast that was showing when he went to massage my arm). After that I was pretty much uncomfortable throughout the whole session and was ready for it to be over. He also was very rough for a therapeutic massage and Im currently very sore in my neck and upper back from it. He also kept talking throughout the massage, saying how I was very tense here and there and trying to make conversations. He would often ask me does that feel better now after doing a spot on my body. The bed was also very hot and I told Derek Greene about it but he did nothing about it. The linen that was placed over the face harder also had an unsettling smell. Overall the service was mediocre and I was definitely given an amateur with not enough experience to massage someone, especially if he is unsettled by the sight of the side of my breast. He also didnt give me a complete full body massage. My thighs and hips were not massaged. I dont know if he was uncomfortable with me or what. I understand that this review is coming to you guys the next day but after the embarrassment I had endured, I was honestly just ready to leave and only left a tip out of etiquette. I hope you guys take my review in consideration and maybe only limit Derek to massaging men if he thinks its okay to react like that.

If you live in the Baton Rouge area, or if you are just visiting, look no further for the most professional and skilled massage therapy and spa staff. Five stars does not do this team justice. This team is giving a master class in customer service and business etiquette.A rare gem to be sure.

Absolutely magnificent - from the time I called in and spoke with the front office person Meghan (apologies If I got it wrong) to the intake process while I waited for the Massage. Derek was my therapist and he was fantastic - while I was waiting a couple that had finished their massage prior to mine raved about Derek and I was looking forward to mine. Well I wasnt disappointed - he did a great job and I am going back next week. next came the mad scientist Meaghan who took me to the second floor and did a marvelous job. One thing in common amongst all three was their sense of professionalism - skill set - and a desire to do the right thing, I write this review to share my very positive experience with folks who want to experience 1st class relaxation therapy from 1st class people who strive for the best. With me they succeeded. Thank you.

I gave this place 3 stars only because my service was unsuccessful. I got a lash lift and my aesthetician was great but it did not take on my lashes. My aesthetician could have told me it wouldnt have been successful ahead of time but failed to do so. They did issue me a refund. The place is very comfy and cozy. I will be going back for other services such as a facial.

Took my wife there for our anniversary during last month and the massage was nice but the experience not so much. We both had a 90 minute massage scheduled for 12 noon. We arrived about 20 minutes early to do our paperwork before the appointment and did so. Both of our therapist walked in after 12. I checked the clock when I went into my room with the therapist and after the de-robe and questions my massage started at 12:09. When the therapist said all done it was 1:29. With my therapist getting there late and starting late my massage should have ended at 1:39, not a minute before the original scheduled end time. I told this to the front desk when they asked me how everything was. When my wife finally finished she said that it took her several minutes longer before she was brought back to her room. Her therapist did she she got a little extra time because they started late, but once again, it was a little extra time after the 1:30 end time if it had started on time. My wife has not had many professional massages and did not look at the clock so I am not sure how much time she was shorted. The girls at the desk said they would comp our hot towels and allow us to have the same introductory special next time we came in. Even though the towels ended up being complimentary, I would have paid less for myself if I would have paid for my towel and only been charged for the actual minutes that my massage was. The staff did say to expect a call from them because the manager was probably going to call me to talk about it. Well after a month I never got a call. The front staff was very polite and friendly. My wife loved her therapist and I like mine but even with going as early as we did, we did not get what we booked or paid for and did not get any feedback from management.

Workers were nice, friendly and displayed great hospitality. I felt welcomed in the establishment.

I see a lot of reviews raving about the therapists (which is absolutely true, Ive never had a bad massage or facial in my many times here). I wanted to write this review about the people behind the front desk, who were always extremely polite and professional, and helped me whenever I had to make a list minute rescheduling due to illness or when I had a minor issue redeeming some perks. They were especially helpful when I moved away and didnt realize I had a massage still on my membership. They were very helpful in halting the billing, but keeping my membership open until I could come back and redeem the massage, and then closed it. Every interaction Ive had with them has been fantastic at every level, and if I hadnt moved 14 hours away, I would still be a customer there today! I cannot recommend them more highly to anyone considering using their services.

My therapist was kind, knowledgeable and professional. She was able to work all of the knots out of my neck and I feel brand new! The space is gorgeous and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful experience and I will definitely be going again. Dawn was so kind and professional and just helped me feel so relaxed on a day where I truly needed it. (I was close to an anxiety attack when I got there.) I felt so much better afterward, I honestly cant put it into words. She focused on the areas that I needed to be focused on, and avoided my feet which Id mentioned needing to be avoided because Im super ticklish. It was just so relaxing and grounding and I will definitely go back again.

I never write reviews, but the Massage Emporium just earned a new regular client. I recently had a couples massage with my girlfriend, and it was absolutely heavenly. Kelli and Shireen are extraordinarily talented therapists and made us feel so welcome and at ease. A relaxing and healing experience that I hope many others have the opportunity to try!

My wife and I went to get a massage and were both not impressed with what we got. Neither of us are particularly picky customers about massages since we rarely get them, but the fact that we had two different people give us two massages that were bad in different ways was notable. During my full body massage, they didnt even really massage my legs and they punched my arms and chest (not the chop motion, closed fist and all). My wifes shoulder feels worse the day after than it did yesterday (didnt have any pain before). Wouldnt recommend this place to say the least.

I will never go back again. I have had many massages. I had never had one that hurt as quite as this session. It felt more like a chiropractor session. I told the guy several times that he was hurting me. Yes I should have ended the session but I was not trying to ruining my Anniversary day, plus me and hubby was on a time schedule. The next day I went back to talk to the manger, she promised me a refund, but she have to talk the the owner. Long story short after several calls, I was never conpensated, but my husband was credited because his therapist was telling her personal business during his session, we didn’t take it. I’d rather go back to Bumble Lane. Nope wasn’t trying to get a free session, I believe in paying for great service and that was awful.

The ambience is calm and inviting from the moment you walk in the door. Appointments can be made by calling or going online. You can take a little survey online to see which therapists may be best suited to your preferences for massage therapy. Everyone is incredibly friendly and they are practicing good COVID practices. Prices are on per for professional massage businesses. They do have package deals and specials to get extra bonuses over time. My main masseuse there has been unbelievable working on my specific body needs. I definitely recommend them for anyone in need of a good massage. They have other spa-like options available too.

I have lived (and had massages) in New York, Los Angeles, Colorado and have traveled all over this country and Ami (Amilinda) is the BEST massage therapist I have ever had. Ive had some good ones too. She is an artist and knows the body like no one else. I have severe TMJ and I trust her to do things I have only let chiropractors and physical therapists do in the past. I always walk out feeling healed and new. Also, the Massage Emporiums staff and facilities are top rate. Everyone there welcomes me with a smile and by name. From beginning to end, it is a great experience. Im only in Baton Rouge for a year and am dreading saying goodbye to Ami and Massage Emporium in general. Please go! Oh, and also....their prices are extremely reasonable.

Had a at home service for me and my wife and the guy who came was clearly inexperienced. Had did not communicate with my wife at all. He more less went off of the other therapist which gave me the clue that he was new. I feel like they found the first person available and filled that spot. The foot massage or scrub I paid for was less than 5 minutes. I have a video of him doing it and it was 2:31 seconds. For the money I spent for the experience, I’m not happy!!!!!!😡😡😡

Ive been going to the Massage Emporium regularly for a year now. I couldnt sleep. It helped. I was having pain. Its helped. I love this place. I especially like Amy Sylvie. Shes always learning new techniques that might be useful on what hurts. I go for the deep tissue work, but if Amy thinks that deep tissue at a certain spot isnt going to be helpful, then she uses another technique - Swedish, Thai, flushing. Shes gotten more knots out of my than I knew were in there - in my cheeks and throat, lower back, around the knees. I was also seeing a physical therapist, who gave me instructions for things Amy could help with, to maintain the work done by the PT. Its all of a piece. The staff is wonderful and I get greeted like a long lost friend whenever I come in, even if its only been a week. Ill be using them for a long time, I think.

I had an awesome deep tissue massage from Sherah V. She worked out all of my knots and was very professional. I could tell she had a lot of experience; she was a master at massaging the neck and back. I will definitely be going back!

If you are looking for a DEEP tissue massage, ask for Mario. He let me know he uses strong pressure but from experience, I never expect it to be strong enough. I was wrong about Mario. It was a little intense but in a good way. After a good soak in a hot bath with Epsom salt, I realized I had no more neck and back pain! If you can handle a good deep tissue massage then I HIGHLY recommend going to Mario. Every day since I am still in disbelief that I can get out of bed pain free. Ive been sore for a few years now and I could cry with joy knowing I finally found the best! Thank you so much Mario. I will definitely be back!

I was able to find Massage Emporium on the web and was able to easily make an appointment. The massage itself was just what I needed. Ami did an excellent job massaging my locked up muscles bringing me a great deal of relief. As a fellow massage professional I highly recommend Massage Emporium if you are in need of a massage.

Friendly front desk worker. Easy to schedule an appointment. But extremely disappointed in the massage. I found my massage therapist to not listen to my needs or wants even though I repeated it multiple times. I was overall very disappointed.

They sale you services that they don’t even perform. If you buy a 90 minute massage your really only given 60 minutes. And when confronted about it they try to deny it even despite you proving it wasn’t the time you are paying for.
