I have been for line dancing and for birthday month and had a blast each time! The atmosphere is energetic and ALL of the staff are all super friendly! Riding the bull was absolutely a highlight of the night. The patrons cheered everyone on who was on the bull and got a good laugh when the bull shows them who was boss! The line dances are super easy to follow so if you don’t know how to do it you can just hop on the dance floor and watch someone next to you or one of the PBR dancers. There is even an outside seating area if you need to rest your legs from dancing so much. I highly recommend this for your next night out!
Didn’t order any food, but everything else was great! My friends and I had a blast and laughed so hard watching the bull area! The bull operator appeared to love his job and went out of his way to make sure people were comfortable who hadn’t rode before! Will definitely be back!
My entire group and I had the best time! We had Ashley as our girl and let me tell you... from the kindness, helpfulness, hospitality, friendliness, attitude, personality and more.... she was the best!! If I could give her a personal shot out to the GM or to corporate, I would! We had some not so great experiences elsewhere, so she was a breath of fresh air to my whole party. Ashley, thank you for making our trip 10000x better, memorable, fun, and go out with a bang! We will definitely come back because of you! Thanks again, ashley!!!! - Brittanie
Carra our VIP host made our experience completely worth it. She was very attentive and made sure we always had everything we needed. She made sure the birthday girl felt extra special on her night. Love the atmosphere of the bar such a great place for a fun night out. We will definitely be back!!
Our favorite spot to dance on Thursdays and get a drink. Alia and Savannah have top tier energy and best bartenders.
PBR is always a vibe. Good people and great bartenders. Shout out to Shannon behind the bar for keeping the party going and always with a smile!
Management staff was lovely, DJ is amazing, the bartenders are insanely personable and the buckles are insanely great dancers. Thursdays in particular are beyond incredible. The perfect amount of people and fun line dance classes. Everyone should check it out if they’re in the area and wanna boot scoot and boogie.
PBR is really a great place to have fun. The team that works there is so friendly and does such a wonderful job in making sure every customer feels welcomed and comfortable. I recently had a V.I.P booth for my birthday and Lavonne did such a fantastic job taking care of me and my party! I high recommend her!! Also their bartenders Shannon, Savannah, Ashley and Eric does a fantastic job as well!! They’ll take care of all your needs at the bar!! So if you’re looking for a great place to have fun; I highly recommend!!
Not sure about the previous reviews, but I have had a great experience here! Wanted to try line dancing and now I come almost every week. The bartenders and instructors are so sweet - bartender Ashley and a female manager or bar back, (never caught her name) are always so welcoming and and even recognize me! They are also very responsive of instagram which I appreciate. Cheap drinks on Thursday. They have a great staff here!
I went last night and had a blast with my friends. My friends enjoyed the dancing but the mechanical bull was my favorite. The person overseeing the bull made sure to take great care of us on the bull!
The DJ is awesome and kept the dance floor packed the whole night. Loved the atmosphere watching everyone having a good time dancing and riding the bull (and falling off). It was a lot of fun and we will definitely be back.
I had the best experience ever at PBR. My bartenders Savannah and Alia remembered my drinks even when they were super busy. They were amazing and I highly recommend going to check this place out and ask for them. They are the best!!
We got bottle service at the PBR bar on a Saturday night. The five star rating is solely based on the employees we interacted with (Lavonne, the Security guys, the female manager we worked with too not sure her name). We really enjoyed ourselves but definitely some areas for improvement. Very difficult to get info on the bottle service and took a while to get an answer and actually get our table. I’m really surprised at the reviews that say no country music was played. The DJ (DJ Justin maybe?) really only played country and maybe a little techno and pop. I don’t think I heard one rap or r and b song the whole night. We couldn’t even get one “rap” song request played even though we ended up buying two bottles at the table that night. Still would come back and as previously mentioned, we had an awesome time. Definitely a nice change from the downtown Raleigh atmosphere. The girls dance their tails off and provide a fun atmosphere. Thanks for the fun birthday night!
Our bartender Shannon was INCREDIBLE!!! We had a VIP booth for my friends birthday and she was the best server we could have asked for. Highly recommend her!
I love alia and savannah so much they are absolutely amazing at what they do! they make pbr the best cowboy bar and bar!
I recently got married at PBR and it was truly perfect! Jennifer V. and the staff working our reception were absolutely amazing. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place leading up to the wedding. We originally were going to hold the ceremony/reception at AVA, but due to weather we had to move to PBR the day before. Everyone was so helpful with the weather situation and Jennifer made sure everything went smoothly. The food was incredible and our guests had the best time as well. Sports and social also helped us book our DJ, Jimmy, who was incredible. Highly recommend for a wedding/reception or any event!
The bartender, not sure her name, was appallingly bad. She spent time speaking with non customers while numerous people waited to order. Moved as slow as possible and proceeded to skip taking my order, taking the order of recently arriving people instead. When I looked surprised that she took the order of the women beside me who had just arrived after I was waiting for 10 minutes, she gave me an attitude. Need to hire better employees, she alone made me never want to return here.
We had a blast at PBR on a 90s Throwbacks night! We celebrated my birthday there from 10pm-2am and it was so much fun!!! We will definitely be back! I would highly recommend this venue for a fun night of drinks and dancing if you are looking to socialize and have a great time. The bar does get packed at times. We did not eat food there so I cant rate it. The drinks and pours were fair. The DJ and music was fantastic and the vibe was lively and a total blast! Im so glad to see something like this now open in Cary for entertainment and adult night life. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because we were ignored by multiple bartenders while standing at the counter for long periods of time waiting to order drinks. The service was lacking at the bar and needs to be improved especially on busy Saturday nights.
Such a great atmosphere, gets packed on Saturday nights! Its a good mix of music so if you dont want to listen to just country its a good mix
I absolutely love this place! I feel so welcomed and I will continue to go back every weekend. The bartenders are always so accommodating and helpful especially when I have no idea what I want to drink. Even when it comes to the line dancing. The buckles are always so helpful when I don’t understand a line dance or I get confused. They are always so sweet! I have yet to have a bad experience with anyone at PBR. The people, the atmosphere, the music, the whole nine yards makes the whole experience 10 times better. Like I said I will come back every weekend because I love everything about it!
My first trip to PBR Cowboy Bar at Fenton after visiting Sports and Social a number of times. I was really impressed with the diversity of the music; a great mix of genres but less line dancing than I was expecting. The whole staff was attentive, fast and friendly and the drinks were excellent. Holly served us nearly all night and she is fantastic! It was a lot of fun to see people riding the bull and it was a really great crowd — the atmosphere was a nice change from the downtown Raleigh weekend scene. Its so easy to plan a whole night around things to do in Fenton, so be sure to put PBR Cowboy Bar on the list.
Came with some friends to watch the Colombia vs Brazil game and the atmosphere was incredible, the service and food were great. I will come back again.
PBR Cary was a very interesting experience. I went with some friends and clients last Thursday and even though it was a little empty that day, the team put on a show of animation, ensuring that the atmosphere was as pleasant as possible for everyone present.Regarding the bar, the place has an excellent structure, with several options for drinks and the bar attendants are very kind, in particular Holly, who served us since we arrived and regardless of the multicultural diversification of the group with different english accents, she was extremely kind to everyone. When she was challenged on drinks she couldnt make, she suggested others that made the group not feel the difference. She proved to be a very creative person who understands what the customer is looking for. 5 star service provided by her, for sure!Excellent country bar option. Its worth going!
Bunch of wanna be tough guy losers that go to this spot. The service is absolutely awful, all the servers look like they hate their life. Wait time for drinks or food is ridiculously long and sometimes they dont even serve you. One of the worst places to go out to in the entire Triangle.
Great place to go ! High Energy for sure and make sure you get Ashley in the PBR to serve you drinks ! She is on fire with getting the drinks out to you ! Best bartender I have seen in a long time !!!Everyone should definitely check this place !!!
To be honest, this place has good vibe, good music, and great energy. But what really made the night incredible was our server, Holly! She was the perfect combination of attentive, fast, and efficient. Her energy & fun sense of humor was so infectious! She was hands down the reason why we wanted to keep coming back to the bar station; and when we needed it, her drink selection was SPOT ON! Thanks Holly!
This is my new favorite place in Cary. Service was great and we had such a good time. There is a mechanical bull here as well which is always great for hilarious entertainment. The live music was awesome. Our bartender Holly took great care of us all night. Will definitely be back.
Was only in the pbr section of this establishment. Im a line dancer and Ive been to a handful of bars. I was excited to come because Ive heard really good things about pbr bars but I was quite disappointed. The Dj didnt play many international line dances and it was more pop music than anything. While I was line dancing the servers/dancers were gossiping about me. When I was learning one of theirs line dance and caught on with in a few walls, they looked at me like I shouldnt be dancing with them. I was doing my bars version of the wobble and I wasnt in the way of anyone but security asked me to stop. Overall the hospitality was bad and I wont be coming back or recommending it. I also only had one drink and bought my friend one. For two single coconut rum and cokes, it was $17 dollars.
I went a couple of Thursdays ago and had a blast. I even rode on the bull, And the bull operator was super friendly and gave great tips
Great first experience at PBR! We went out for my friends 30th birthday and got a booth/bottle service. Overall we had a great time and we would go back again. Cant really give an honest review on the food since we didnt order any. Two main issues (1) We rented a booth with bottle service. We got a bottle of grey goose and they KEPT it locked up in a glass box at our booth and only our server could make us our drinks and unlock the box. (2) Our server would disappear for a while and wed have members of our group waiting for a drink/to be served. Despite the lull periods, our server was really kind! Ultimately, the vibes were great but it was apparent the group felt frustrated that we couldnt pour our own drinks with the bottles we paid for. Maybe this is the norm - but weve had bottle service at various clubs/bars in Raleigh/Miami/NYC and dont usually have these rules.
My best friend and I went Saturday night (2/11) and we had the best time! The music was awesome, played different music….not just country. There was a lot of people, but it was opening weekend, so I expected that of course. The mechanical bull was so much fun! The line for it wasn’t too bad either. I can’t wait to go back in the summer when they have all the doors open!
Best bar ever. Ride that bull and line that dance
The bull operator Clay is super friendly and accommodating to older people who want to join in on the fun. Good times were had by all.
I have been to PBR a few times and it has easily become mine and my friends go to spot. Every time has been a great experience and they are well staffed so I haven’t had any issues with wait times. Also, very personable bartenders who make the time there fun and entertaining.
A CoWorker/Friend & I met there after work one evening for a social gathering. I had heard of this place via Social Media & was looking forward to seeing what the hype was all about. We had an AMAZING time. We were there for almost 5 WHOLE hrs. The music & crowd was so diverse, there was definitely something for all kinds of people of all ages groups to enjoy. I’m looking forward to the next time. I might even ride the Bull ❤️💯
I have came multiple times to this bar, and yesterday I took my friend for the first time.Great live music, as well for the dj. Everyone at PBR is friendly, and great service. A special shout-out to Holly, she is amazing, all around great friend!! Always looking out and making sure I have a drink in my hand!
Not much of a country music fan but man did i have a blast here when it wasnt crowded. I notice a lot of reviews are negative to a very popular and very new bar and night life location in the Cary area. Everyone I spoke to was nice and all the dancers got everyone going. Definitely will be a regular when it gets less new
Went to this place a few time but the last time my experience was terrible. I went to the middle floor to order drink for my friends and I, I told the bartender what I wanted and she said “you know it $20 a shot right?” I told her I know because I’ve been ordering the same drinks all night. She came back with a whole different order. I told her that’s not what I order she then said find another bartender. I left then asked my friend to go purchase the drinks and she told her that we were banned from the bar. We complained to security and he told us to leave and was nonchalant about the whole situation. The security proceeded to push us out and we ask for a manager luckily she was black and told them not to touch us. I spend over $500 dollars and night and the same other nights. I was obviously discriminated against because I am black and have dreaded hair. I’m not at all what she assumed I was, I’m a business owner and always support local businesses. I was humiliated, and was very embarrassed. I hope this establishment make changes quick or this business will end up in serious trouble especially in 2023.
I always say I am leaving early and end up staying way longer. than planned. Always a fun time. Big shout to Holly and company for great bartending service. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for fun night out check it out.
First time at Fenton, PBR Cary, it was super fun and the music was great. Brooke the bartender was awesome! Remembered my name and what we were drinking. Had an great time!
The bar tender Josh was THE BEST BARTENDER EVER and made sure we were having a wonderful time with a cheerful attitude to go with our drink… although the other ladies tending also were fantastic! Best experience and service I’ve had at any Nc bar! Also security was very kind
We held a corporate event in this space and had a wonderful evening. The entire space was rented for our private event, the food was phenomenal and the entertainment and drinks were great. Leading up to the event they communicated well regarding our requests and the night of everything went smoothly. We appreciate it, and the bull riding stories were told throughout our entire conference.
Always a good time there. The people that work there are friendly and they treat you right. Ashley and the other bartenders are top notch. They have a great huge screen for you to enjoy the games on.
The bar itself is okay. Terrible service. Somehow received a $76 charge on my card after only getting a few drinks (Vizzy’s) that are $6 each. The bartender asked me every time I went up for a drink what my name was, so maybe she accidentally put other drinks on my tab or gave herself a great tip, but I have no idea because every time I try to call, it goes straight to voicemail, and you cannot leave a message.
Recently I had the wonderful experience of having the manager Tawnie Bellamy help me create a bucket list adventure for a dear friend with Stage 4 cancer.I had approached Tawnie with the request to bring my friend to the bar to ride the bull, which is something that my friend and I had joked about for years. To make this work, there were a multitude of factors: my friend lives in Wilmington, it had to coincide with her chemo at Duke, and that meant before she had the treatment. This was going to fall on a Wed, which is when the bar was closed.Tawnie stepped up to make it happen anyway. She enlisted the help of her two very capable assistants Holly Duffy and Stefanie Saunders. From the moment we arrived, Holly and Stefanie were there to make this an experience of a lifetime. They met us at the parking garage entrance and it went from there. To say we had a blast was an understatement. Stefanie was a whiz at running the bull. She gave my friend two perfect rides ... and me ... yeah, I had to ride as well. The last time I had was forty-three years ago. Again, a BLAST!Holly kindly captured the moment with photos and video.I am so appreciative of ALL that these women did ... they ROCK!!I will be back with a few more silver-haired ladies to introduce them to bull riding. :)
Thanks to our server Angelica for her excellent service. I will continue to visit and recommend this place.
I was in there Thursday night and had a blast on the bull and the bull op gave great pointers.
I think all i need to say is my drink didnt get to me before i finished my food, got my grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken was dry and tasted bland, I considered asking for a refund but i didnt want to be that guy, but worst experience in a while by far.
Yesterday I was at this bar with my family and friends and as soon as I entered the room I went to the first bar and was attended by a middle-aged blonde waitress with tattoos. I ordered two beers and a glass of water and when I went to pay I ended up giving her a 5 dollar bill and instead of a 1 dollar bill I gave her a 100 dollar bill. She obviously saw my mistake but decided to take my 100 dollars. so be careful because here in this bar you cant count on the honesty of some employees. very frustrating!
Came here a couple of weeks ago. That night, I tried closing out my tab to multiple bartenders who all claimed they couldn’t find my name in their system. But coincidentally my card was charged $32 plus an additional $25 for leaving my tab open. Tried communicating to management about this situation and have not gotten a response.
Seems fun. I look forward to going back once the crowds die down. Having to exit the bar to use the restroom and get back into the long unorganized line is outrageous. Also the line being right by the sports and social stage makes no sense. Lots of potential for this place but the owners seem like they have a lot to learn. Also, bartenders pour extremely light. Don’t waste your money on doubles.
Too many line dancing also not a change for fee style. Every song was line dance. Would have liked country song without any line dancing. Love country songs, but would have just liked to few free style and not open dancing. Some sings had no sense to have line dancing. Kept getting pushed out.
Great service! savannah and alia are super sweet and bottle service presentation are a 10/10
I was so excited to have a country bar opening near me, but immediately disappointed on opening night and weekend. There is not enough space for the crowds they are attracting. I am an avid linedancer but the dance floor is standing room only because there is no where else to stand. There are 2 bars, but their systems dont communicate so if you open a tab at one bar, you have to continue to go back to that bar for additional drinks and to close out your tab.The line to ride the bull extends out the exit. You cannot access the exit due to the amount of people they allow in.The VIP section is $800 for 10 people. Do they know were not in NYC? The VIP space has seating for 10 and you get 1 bottle of liquor. It doesnt seem worth it.The drink menu has 3 total beers to choose from and the liquor drinks are definitely more expensive than the pour is worth.
This place has a great vibe and good music. BUT what really made our night was our server, Ashley! She was perfect, fast, and efficient. She made me wanna spend more! Thank you and you will be seeing us again!
Excellent music, great bartenders and the guy in the cowboy hat running the bull killed it!
Don’t come here if you’re Hispanic or Latino. The bouncer is racist. Only in the pbr. Not the sport and social.
5 stars because of the best bartender and dancer Sammy! She always has the best customer service and the friendliest! She always has the brightest smile and I enjoy her as my bartender. She is a keeper at PBR!
Kyle is the best manager ! The entire bar is run so well and they take care of their customers!
Had a fun time! They played a variety of music, not just country. There were a lot of people at the bar but Holly was awesome, one of the best bartenders!
Been to PBR in Cary a few times and it is always a great time. The atmosphere, the vibe, the workers and the people. The bartenders are always on point, especially Holly. She is always cheerfuI and kind to customers. I definitely recommend people to check PBR out.
You have to change age requirement from 21 to 18. My son is 19 - almost 20 and wants to bring his girlfriend. Not interested in drinking and would gladly wear bracelet that shows he is under 21. Can you get the paper bracelets that I have seen? Hard to find entertainment for the age group between 18-20
Not a country bar. Plays country music but that’s about it. The female dancers looked miserable on stage. The concept of the bar is great, execution is terrible. Also, whomever designed that place with the sports bar did a awful job. Lines to PBR were all around the sports bar and restaurant area. It’s sad to see such a great idea executed so poorly.
I personally did not go but the fact that the Venue is 21+ is problematic. You should respectfully consider opening the venue to an 18+ audience to bring youthfulness (and revenue). Anyways, heard it was fun so I chose not to give it a lower rating.
My friends and I went on Friday night. For NO reason at all, my two friends (both of whom are black) were escorted out suddenly by a bouncer. When they tried to get an explanation, none was provided. They were just standing there near the bar, not typsy, not bothering anyone. I dont know if the bouncer thought they were someone else but either way it was completely messed up and uncalled for.
This is a CLUBOh yah and they also didn’t play country music either only rap after 9pm which just seems crazy to me. Drinks are expensive and selection is very slim. We left and went to dram and droughtVery disappointed as we were looking for a country night out!
Great Live music early; hoping to get into Line Dancing on Thursdays but always sold out (please add more times); Also need to get more of the Country 2-step crews out! Hope to see you all there.
Went out last weekend with friends . We all paid our tabs and left . A few days later we were double charged the exact same amount as the night we were there . So Instead of a 200$ night out it’s now a 400$ night out and I have to do a stop payment with my bank because they’re trying to be slick and double charge . BRING CASH
Very small bar and is awkward because no one is dancing. They don’t play country music the whole time considering they are a cowboys bar. Music choice is weird. You’re better off going to Whiskey Rose downtown Raleigh.
Another bar within a bar and that’s what PBR Cary is like, but a huge bar within a bar. Two bars, big dance floor, mechanical bull riding, and a big outside covered patio.I’m not a “country fan” per se but I had a really fun night here. There’s a dj that plays all kinds of music.Nothing bad to say. Get your country on and have a time! PBR Cary is here to stay.
Shannon was the best server/bartender for our table!!! 100% recommend
Love this place. Raleigh/Cary needs more clubs like this. A lot of fun!
Isiah was very attentive on a busy night. He made the bill worth it lol
This is an amazing place. I was expecting a Cowboy-Country-bar. But was very surprised at the Vegas style cowboy theme club! The sportbars is amazing! They need separate entrance though.
This place is absolutely insane. I took my grandparents here from FL and it was a nightmare since we walked in. Was told to be moved from once placed … moved to another and then was discriminated from there.. even offered to pay for VIP but was never responded to… so there we went standing at the side of the bull and then told after 3 hours of being there we had to leave of having FOOD.. a bag of leftovers from dinner across the street we had from when we walked in. Wouldn’t you think we wouldn’t have been able to walk in from the beginning if that was the case!? But no… they wanted to pick on someone.. I watched this man complaint like a little cry baby to a lady then to an actual MAN.. as he wasn’t… it’s sad as I WENT here after work during the week and will forever never recommend this place morning forward. Oh should I add I even had my work award ceremony here after the great vibes I had from this place.. BUT NO MORE.. kicked out for having a bag of food that we had for 3 hours but decided to get picked on lmao what children.
Savannah the bartender the best vibes and service with her!
Awesome bar concept with line dancing and a mechanical bull! Always a great time here.
Holly is by far my favorite bartender she is so sweet, she always has a smile on her face, and she makes the best drinks!
The line dancing was fun but 3 shots of Don Julio came out to $128
The mechanic bull you can ride for free is super fun! the vive, music and line dancing are wonderful 🌞🌞
Very awkward layout. I thought the bar would be much bigger than it was (it’s Tiny) The music choice is not good at all. Not a lot of actual country music. Could have been cool but won’t be back.
Spoiler alert... This is NOT a country bar, its a COWBOY BAR! This is the place you come to to get a lil rowdy, have some drinks, enjoy some entertainment, and relieve some of that stress from a long work week. Feelin a lil extra adventurous.... Take a ride on the mechanical bull! Come and get some... You know you wanna!!!
I and my friends went there last night. We were absolutely in love with this place. The bartender on the first floor was so nice to us.
Give it a shot. You’ll love it best place in Wake County
Cool place but their drinks are highly overpriced.
Didn’t eat, but the food looks great! The night club part is kind of hidden but an absolute blast!!! Riding the Bull is super fun
I never been there, but so sad to reading all of this and plus my bad experience with this communication. No phone number, 3 emails sent trying to get a birthday reservation, And everything is being imposible even for celebrate there. Really disappointed
Good ambiance, nice drinks but the food took forever to arrive. Waited for over 50 minutes for the food
Not impressed considering I’m used to the PBRs in Hampton Roads. The place was packed shoulder to shoulder and god forbid you need to use the restroom. You’ll have to wait in the very long line to get back in.
Always a great time! Holly is an amazing bartender and always provides great service and a fun atmosphere!
My main complaint is the music being played. I expected the PBR bar to play more Country music and not a lot of Hip-Hop and Pop music.
Asya was an amazing server!
Great place to go out dancing and drinking. Also a good place to watch the games but the good seats go fast!
Raleigh needed this 🙌🏼 i wish it were bigger like the atlanta location but definitely glad they added raleigh to the list. such a fun concept
It was so packed and more people were coming in, you couldn’t move at all. I waited 30min it’s to get a drink at the bar. Not well organized
Ashley is the BEST BARTENDER! Shes so fun to talk to!!! ✨✨
To much line dancing and the bartenders take forever.
Q at the door is the best!!!! So kind and friendly! Very welcoming.
13$ for a coors light draft is insane.
Hottest and most attentive bartender ever Ashley!
Is it 18 and up? I want to come dance!!
Come for the food and stay for the mechanical bull 😎
Amazing service and fun atmosphere!
My first choice for a fun night out
It’s one of the places ever created.
Great place
Rude staff
