COMMISSARY 2.0

Came here for my brother’s 30th birthday and we bought bottle/table service. I’m an operations manager here for aRestaurant & ultra lounge here in Vegas and I really appreciate coming to a venue like this where the staff were so kind and friendly. From the girl door host at the front to the cocktail servers, bartenders, and the security guards… we had such a great experience because of the friendly Staff! The DJ played great music which I can actually dance too! I’m personally not a fan of EDM music but the DJ played all the right songs including the jams that I used to dance to back in the day lol. Thank you guys for a great time and keep up the great customer service!

The place is def a younger crowd, like 20s. Drinks are expensive lol, but the hip hop music is good and the dance floor is fairly big.

The layout of the club, sound system, drink pricing, and pretty much everything about this place is fantastic. the only reason I cant give it five stars is that they appear to be constantly burning an absurd amount of incense. Ive burned plenty of incense over time for various reasons and I was choking most of the time I was there.

Nothing memorable about this place and mostly a waste of time. Overall the club scene in Irvine leaves a lot to be desired. Commissary 2.0 is no differentDJ is decent and not too bad but the music wasnt anything great either. DJ cant seem to read the crowd either.Security: Polite so maybe they changed their security policy recently cause I did not run into any rude military style security mentioned in some older reviews.Drinks are a bit over priced but also not too bad.Parking is literally non existent so just take an UberThe Crowd:99% Asian (Chinese)0% Asian (Other)0% Hispanic / Latin1% OtherDance clubbing in general around Irvine:1) Check that there is a crowd outside before going in cause it might be dead inside but they charge you anyway.2) Check the demographic composition of the crowd outside as a reflection of whats inside. If thats not your crowd then go somewhere else.3) Listen to the DJ for a bit. If they cant even do a basic criss fade and match BPM dont bother going in.4) Check that the music is your style too. It would appear that in Irvine Trance music mostly attracts an Asian (Chinese) crowd and almost no one else. On the other hand Latin / R&B Hip Hop attracts a more mixed crowd.

Nice venue! Bartenders were friendly and atmosphere was appropriate. Place was clean and well maintained. Parking was challenging. Drinks were expensive but the cost of running a business isnt cheap so I get it. Theres a room with some outdated arcade games where a few pool tables would be a better fit.

There’s a cocktail here that’s SO good, music is good, prices are fine. There’s a guy there, seems like an entitled manager because he ignores drink requests and walks away. 1. Why are you standing behind the bar doing literally nothing? 2. If you’re a manager you should lead by example and not think anything is beneath you ESPECIALLY when it comes to customer service 3. If you can’t take drink orders at least say your busy and get someone else to do it instead of just walking away or pretending you didn’t hear. The bar is full. You should know better than to just stand there.

Second time here…not very diverse at all… seems to be a club meant for Asians only so if you are not, you will be treated different… super small as well…Music was o.k.

Uber drop off would be best here because parking is non-existent. Medium size warehouse with bar and large projector screen and some TVs scattered about. In my buzzed haze I remember seeing the movie The Exorcist on one of the smaller screens, not sure why they would be playing that. Bartenders were nice and friendly, despite the fact that they would not change The Exorcist move to something else when asked. Never the less it was fun and got pretty packed later into the night, can get really hot inside.

This place is Awesome! The staff is so dope from managment, bartenders to security. They have reasonable prices for drinks! The atmosphere is Great the only issue is they plays a song for less than a min which is bothersome more so when its a good song N its barely starting and it gets changed and it gets done every time! Other than that the place is great for a good time!

The deejay that night was mediocre. But it was fun despite no one being there. I love the layout of this place and that its a lounge with actual seating. Gets a better crowd on the weekends. Thursdays are good for a place to take a date.

Commissar y 2.0 offers some great music and an enjoyable vibe. Drinks are overpriced but the $5 alcoholic boba makes up for it.Security comes off as oppressive as a Southern town during the desegregation. Security guards wear military style plate carrier / MOLLE vests that do not fit the Socal scene.I recommend finding a way to integrate your security into the crowd to provide a better illusion of stability and promote a safer environment.

What do you mean we dont accept amex. This is a business right? I hope you guys are not too broke but that explains all the girls wearing fake Saint Laurent bags and DJs wearing fake designer.

Man, hands down THE most amount of dancefloor in all of OC. Free on Fridays quite often and the drinks are priced very well. Professional bouncers and bartenders make this place a must when in Costa Mesa

The music is repeated.. and the drinks are straight ice and juice..barely any liquor for 5$.. They have this fog mist machine on top of the ceiling in the middle of the dance floor that shoots straight chemical down toward the people including me in the middle..very hard to breathe afterwards. Big puddle of muddy water in the smoking area outside+1 for having a nice bucket of 5 gallon iced water to give out to the people..and the bouncers pretty cool. But the problems above need some attention.

Wow... I wonder if I ever dressed this hoochie when I was in college...If you like partying in what looks like a basement which a bunch of kids in short short, midriff showing and high heels, this is the place for you. Maybe Im too old now, but I like a place with a classier vibe. It literally looked like someones basement house party with worn down seating and a basic bar. The DJ was ehhh. He kept switching music genres and the transition from song to song was horrible.Overall, not my scene anymore. Or I hope it never was, haha.

99 % asian which is okay very nice people and friendly but was charged more for entry than asian customers. But once I was in the vibe and music was great I would definitely go again.

Came here for my birthday Saturday 7/21 and it was soooooo Lit! Loved the DJ, had a great time. All my friends danced to every song.

Parking sucks but venue is great. Sound is hit or miss, sometimes its great sometimes they cant get it right. Drinks are ultra pricey.

Has potential....DJs mixes were all over the place. Hard to dance when the music jumps from Snoop to Justin Timberlake to Drake within a minute. Luckily I had good company and a drink in hand.

I visited Gunwhale, which shares a parking lot with Commissary lounge, and had one of the worst interactions I’ve ever experienced with commissary employees. They tried to tow my car parked in front of Gunwhale so that their employees could take our spot. There were no signs indicating any restrictions nearby, and the commissary person was SO RUDE. Gunwhale was open for several more hours. 0/10 commissary, really the worst

As a breakdancer. This place gets down. As a normal patron of the vicinity. This place gets down. Usually here for the Feelgood Collective. They bring some dope Djs that play some good old school tracks and new school trap. Bottom line. It gets down.

Love this place. The bouncer is doing a great job roaming inside the club but kind of making people feel a little weird. I dont know why is it necessary to go back and forth back and forth back and forth making us feel uncomfortable.

Good vibes, good hosts. Bathrooms were cramped but clean. Dance floor was good, great crowd.

Outside it looks wack. But its actually pretty cool inside and the music was good. The drinks however were a little on the pricey side and weak. So that was no bueno also. 3 out of 5 stars.

The owner is cool, nice venue, needs more Thursday traffic! Also now they have arcade machines like Marvel Vs. Capcom 2!

The Commissary Lounge is a great location to catch some killer bands!!

This place is so much fun. Maybe if the Djs played songs for more than 30 sec it be way funner.

Line is a hella long to get in after 10 and there were only like 40 people in front of me. I had friends inside and they said it wasnt even that packed.

Mylow played one of the best sets I have ever seen during a focus Friday event.

If you want a more chill club vibe then hit up commissary. Not as popular as Mansion but the music is definitely better.

Huge dance floor for those who want to actually dance, and for those who need to sit and watch ample space for that, too.
