Its a Zen Thing Massage & Skin Care Health Spa

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. I arrived early for my massage appointment today and was greeted by Jennifer, who was kind enough to give me a tour of the place and used the time to explain to me all the different services they provided. She was friendly, informative, and transparent (which is always a sign of a good business). When my appointment time came, I was introduced to my massage therapist, Dan. Prior to starting, he briefly went over my concerns and what my expectations walking out of there were. You can tell he is knowledgeable and experienced by the way he is able to tune in on just the right spots. As someone who is petite I often leave massages underwhelmed as I believe most therapists do not apply the necessary pressure due to fear of hurting me. This massage was the most relaxing and thorough I have ever received, and I cannot wait to go back for my next one as well as my facial with Jennifer next week (will update review).

I got a gift card as a birthday present for this spa. I booked an appointment with David. He went way too deep, even after I told him so. He kept saying you need to relax. It is kind of hard to relax if Im in pain. He then took it a step too far and said Can you not relax because Im Asian? That comment was completely uncalled for and inappropriate. I had a terrible massage and experience. Never in my life have I had a massage that I was just wishing to end the entire time. The only reason why Im giving it two stars is because the receptionist (I dont remember her name) apologized and offered me a discounted appointment that I later canceled. I just couldnt bring myself to go back to this place. If you go, definitely dont book with David.

Ive been a regular at Its A Zen Thing since they opened. Ive been a client of Kimber Ann ( massage therapist & Reiki) since 2010. I was so happy when she partnered w/ Jennifer (the esthetician) and started this business. Youll definitely enjoy all of your sessions. The place Is Zen, they also has an energy bar of so many elixirs. Well priced & very clean. Expect to become a returning client.

Oh it’s more than a Zen thing. LolWhat a great treatment I received with the massage then facial combo. I truly felt pampered like royalty here. The products, hospitality and ambiance was truly remarkable. Thanks for a quick dose of serenity and peace while both Jennifer and Kimber took great care of me.I’ll be back for continued maintenance of spoiling and zen therapy! You are the best!

They have closed the business and their appointment system is still booking appointments and sending appointment reminders. Very disappointing to show up to an empty building after you received an appointment reminder. I’m sure Covid played a role but it would have been nice to get notice they were shutting down for people who had pre paid visits.

I wish I could review the services but I have not heard back in the two months I have been trying to make an appointment. I received a gift card and cannot get ahold of anyone. I have tried calling numerous times, using their website, and sending them messages.

Simply amazing! Jen was perfect! I will be back to see her for sure!
