Great aesthetic and very soothing atmosphere. My massage therapist could have possibly had slightly better bedside manner. She seemed somewhat annoyed. She did a good job with the massage but really didn’t spend any extra time on requested focused areas. I’ve thought about not leaving this review all day but finally convinced myself I should. This was my 1st day off in almost a month and I was really looking forward to it. It wasn’t awful and it wasn’t great.A couple of takeaways - possibly provide clients with a small pillow when they flip on their back and possibly softer, warm washcloths for the eyes. The washcloth was very rough and kind of just slapped on and off.

I love coming here. I’m always treated with exceptional service and enjoy the staff. Keven is the best massage therapist ever. As a health and fitness coach, I need my muscles and joints to be in top condition and he’s the man I see on the reg.The front staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Ive only ever had good experiences here. The therapists are all very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The front desk staff is helpful and work to make sure you get the treatments you need. Theyre really good about letting me know if theres an opening available and very kind when I need to reschedule.

I had a gift card and finally had opportunity to use it. I selected a signature facial and really enjoyed the experience. Brittanie was Professional and easy-going. I look forward to going back my skin need hydration from our dry climate.

This business is absolutely amazing!! I have different therapists I really enjoy seeing. Ashley does great facials and Angie gives the best deep tissue massage (In my opinion). I love this place! They are super kind and accommodating. I’ve been going here for over a year now. I do a lot of intense sports such as kickboxing, rock climbing, running, to name a few, on top of being a fitness instructor. I am very active so my lower back is usually in knots and this place has helped me continue the things I love! Brian is my absolute favorite and go to masseuse! 10/10 🙌🏻 He’s incredibly intelligent about the human body/anatomy and incorporates some stretching! Seeing him has helped me prevent injury and has helped me continue the active lifestyle that I live! I always feel great leaving afterwards. Also, I appreciate the quite relaxing environment that he creates. I am not a big talker so I enjoy having that hour of peace andQuite. 🖤

Marie has been amazing to work with and improve my mobility and muscular health. I started with Marie roughly a month and a half ago and have become a consistent client. She is thoughtful about pressure and often asks if I wanted it to be adjusted, by increasing or decreasing pressure. She got to know my daily activities so that she could focus on my tightness and pain points.I came to La Vida through a recommendation to get a relaxing massage; now I go to La Vida for relaxation, muscle therapy, and an overall better quality of life.Once again thank you La Vida, the front desk staff, and Marie for being a great masseuse.

Fantastic massage. I was doing a gravel bike race the next day but my legs had ongoing soreness. The 90 minute massage was a miracle. I never get massages either because they never help. This did. The place was very accommodating as well.

Katrina was amazing. It was very grounding and therapeutic. Her background as a PTA combined with her grounding and empathetic nature and of course, her massage training, made for a unique and very therapeutic experience!

I love getting massages here!! Most recently I had a great massage experience with Rocio. She made me feel very comfortable during my massage and did wel changing her pressure to my liking on different zones on my body.

Was trying to decide between this and another massage place to treat myself on my birthday. Based on the good reviews I chose this one. When I arrived the receptionist barely greeted me and it was a weird interaction. When I met the masseuse (Brooke), I told her that I would like medium pressure and to focus mainly on my back. For the first half of the massage she was just rubbing lotion on me- no pressure at all. I spoke up because I was confused on when the massage was going to begin. She informed me that was the massage. I couldn’t believe it. Worst “massage” I’ve ever gotten. Why would I pay $80 just for someone to rub lotion on my back? After I asked her for more pressure she was short with me and hurried through the rest of the massage (about 10 minutes left). Huge waste of money and I regret coming here. I did not leave gratuity because I already felt robbed of my $80 just for aromatherapy and lotion to be rubbed on my back. What a joke. I’m guessing they delete the bad reviews on here.

I have enjoyed having a membership but I’m so dissatisfied with the lack of communication. I have tried to call and book appointment on the app and can’t. Decided to show up to the business only to find it closed with now sign. After asking the neighboring businesses what is happening , I was told that someone bought out the business. This lack of communication is upsetting and unacceptable.

Marie is an excellent masseuse! She has 28 years of experience and it shows. I have been searching endlessly for a new masseuse and I have finally found her. The best massage I’ve had in years. Already booking my next appointment. Thanks Marie!

The reception staff is super sweet as you go in and leave. Brian gave me my massage and he was amazing. He listened to my concerns and went above and beyond even explaining how we could work on those areas differently next time!

Service here is amazing. Ive used a few therapists at this location but Vanni is my favorite. She is super intuitive on where to work my muscles, her technique is wonderful, and she is really in control of pressure. Definitely recommend!

I booked a new client appointment for today for a 60 minute massage. I usually do 90 minute massages but due to very tight income and inflation I settled for 60 minutes. My therapist came in almost 15 minutes late. We didnt get started until 12 minutes after my appointment time. I was hoping shed make up for the extra time like previous therapists have if they start late. She ended right at the time that should have been an hour if we had started on time. I was charged for a 60 minute appointment when I only got 45 minutes of service. I told front desk that I was unhappy about that and the customer service manner was rude and they didnt try to resolve the issue at all. Very cold and just asked me to tip and if I wanted to reschedule. I am extremely disappointed this was my experience as I had been looking forward to booking myself a massage for over a month and my experience was anything but excellent. Hopefully they will treat new clients with better bedside manner and see them on time moving forward. Again, extremely disappointed.

My partner & I had a couples massage from Maria & Brooke. We will definitely be back! Very impressed & extremely relaxing. They both made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Maria worked with me & gave me stretching tips to help my lower back pain, as well as suggestions to help with my neck pain that I can do from home. It was a great relaxing way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you!

I’ve tried many massage parlors in town, and LaVida is my go to. They have the best membership deals compared to others, and it’s very affordable even without a membership. I love that I can book online. All the masseuses I’ve seen are friendly and very good at what they do. The facility is clean and in a super convenient location.

Emma was great! Her technique and detail to the areas that were needed most was amazing! I can say with no hesitation, one of the best full body massages I have had! I appreciate all the staff at LaVida and that is why I utilize them for my massage needs.

This was an amazing experience! From booking to the reception staff and the Massage artists! I will definitely be coming back in the future. My massage therapist made sure I was warm enough and had enough pressure or needed to back off. She was very respectful and very nice. I felt completely comfortable with my massage. I would recommend La Vida and any of the massage therapists because even though I have only experienced 2 of the therapists, I k ow that the owner hires amazing staff and they are good at the skill that they bring with them.

He made sure we started the consultation early so he could determine the best massage plan for me and covered 6/7 focused areas we discussed—I imagine due to time. Will absolutely be coming back.

Just got back from LaVida. I was rudely greeted by the receptionist. I said hi and she said hi. Nothing else. After a long pause, she said to me: what is your name. I found this slightly rude and direct. Maybe a what can I do for you? would have been more appropriate. Her posture was also terrible, just slouching in her chair. So, I proceeded to ask for her name in the vaguely same tone that she asked me. She didnt answer. I asked a second time. She still didnt answer. Whats with the attitude? After I sorted my appointment, which was under my girlfriends name (who asked to change it to my name during the day over the phone with an Anna (not sure if it was the person I dealt with)), I resorted to sit down and wait for my masseuse.This is unacceptable. You need to sit up straight, look people in the eyes (she didnt do that either)and be more friendly. First impressions are everything and I hope the owner will have a talk with this young hipster. Thats what you are paid for. If you cant do that, get another job. There is an excellent skit by Louis C.K about people like you when he explains why you have that job. I spoke to her before I left and she seemed absolutely dumbfounded. I explained the situation to my girlfriend when I got home and she thinks she had the same experience with that person when one of the receptionist friends was in the lobby chatting with her and nothing else. My girfriend just sat there until her masseuse came to get her. At that moment, the receptionist FINALLY acknowledged her and even seemed surprised that she was there... Yes, ask for the customers name, be friendly, etc... Just read what I said. Abandon everything once the customer is in. You have one priority, one job.

Marie has years of experience and is extremely attentive to each individual’s needs. Marie is so personable and truly makes every massage relaxing and rejuvenating. She gives great advice too. Thanks so much Marie for all you do, I am so grateful for you!

The therapists and office staff are friendly and professional. I personally think they feel valued and appreciated by management, as that has come through in the random comment. I feel good about supporting a business that treats their employees well and that ultimately makes the services more enjoyable. Ive had massages where therapists are clearly disgruntled and that is not a pleasant experience - for anyone!

LaVida Massage is outstanding. The staff and atmosphere are very friendly and comfortable providing the best massages I have ever come across. Lindsay Brimhall has the magic fingers and does an absolutely wonderful job in locating areas of concern and providing instant relief throughout the massage. She always has me feeling relaxed and walking pain-free after each visit. It helps to hear about what areas need to be worked on and what I can do to smooth the muscles. Amazing and relaxing indulgence. This facility is beautifully decorated to maximize your comfort. I am sad that my massage therapist has retired, but so very happy for her. As a person with chronic pain, these massages are an incredible tool to help me lessen pain.

This was our 1st time visiting from Seattle. The couples massage was pretty amazing, probably the best deep tissue massage I’ve had. The work on my lower back and neck was so good, reached areas no other masseuse was able to reach. I had David and he was the right fit for me, thank you David.

I am so impressed with this beautiful place!! It has a very peaceful relaxed space that is very warm and inviting! Everyone is so friendly there as well. And my massage therapist, Piyush, is a gifted practitioner! I had a deep tissue therapeutic sports massage and it was phenomenal! He knows the anatomy of the muscles and how to release them very well. Its pretty intense when hes helping to release the muscle but hes also good at trying to get your to relax through it. He is kind, professional and good at his practice! I highly recommend LaVida Massage and Piyush!! My body felt so good the following day and I will be going back!!

I got a massage from the WONDERFUL Piyush. I was his first massage at this facility and let me tell you, he is amazing. My mom is a massage therapist in Chicago so my standards are pretty high. He was professional and communicated with me well. Worked on areas I was more concerned about and recommended other types of massages for future reference. Great job Piyush! Will be returning again

My wife got about 6 massages at LaVida and had to cancel the last on very short notice. You would think after having been a regular client the owner would be lenient on their policy, but my wife was charged anyway. The owner can be nice, but she is strict and doesnt appear to value regular clients above policy. My wife has since had several massages at another spa. I am a business owner myself and I would never lose a regular client to a policy riff. The massage therapists are not paid well because of the high overhead to such a large corporation and therefore turnover is high. Its not easy finding a therapist that you will like, and if you do, chances are they will quit soon enough. The same goes for Massage Envy. These two places are good for convenience because they are larger spas with more staff, but they are not great on quality. Utilize them if you have to, or find a small local spa with better therapists who are happy at where they work.

This was my first deep tissue massage. I felt welcomed and comfortable during the entire experience. I felt like I received top notch therapy from my massage therapist. Two days after my visit I felt great and less tense. I will continue to visit LaVida knowing that the deep tissue massages are working effectively.

I went to see Piyush at La Vida and had a great experience. He definitely has a style geared towards athletes and helped me workout some muscle tension I wasnt even aware I was carrying in my body. He was very polite and courteous throughout and checked in often about whether or not the pressure was ok. Afterward I slept far better than I had in a long time. I have had great massages in the past, but this was the first one that I felt actually had an effect after the session was over. I recommend him for any athlete looking to get more out of a massage then just relaxation.

I had my first facial with Ashley and she was amazing! She told me what she was doing before she did it. She removed all the blackheads from my noise (which is a big deal). She recommended a product that I purchased and love. She also gave me a few samples that were great and I will be returning to purchase them as well. I will definitely be back to visit Ashley!

My husband got me a prenatal massage for Valentines Day and it was everything I wanted and needed! Piyush was my masseuse and he was fantastic. I was a little nervous since this is my first pregnancy and first prenatal massage, but he was very communicative asking what I needed for my specific pregnancy ailments. I felt totally safe and relaxed and will definitely be going back!

Recently received massage from Lindsay Brimhall. She fixed issues in my shoulder I didn’t even know I had but felt so much relief after. She is truly a healer and so in tune with the body. I will definitely be back!

Great prenatal massage! I have been seeing Laurie once a month throughout my pregnancy and she is extremely knowledgeable about prenatal massage. Each appointment she adapts the massage to fit my current needs and complaints. I love getting relief from my achy hips and back plus she massages my ribs, belly, and hips to increase blood flow to the baby! I cant recommend her services enough!!

I came in for my first facial in about a year and had Montana. She was awesome! The place itself is easy to find, very clean, relaxing, and all staff was very welcoming. I will definitely be coming back for further services soon. Thank you!

LaVida Spa has friendly receptionists and clean facilities. I always have a good experience with massage therapist, Hannah. She manages to relax me so that I fall asleep and is intuitive and very interested in helping address my specific needs. I certainly will be returning for more therapy from Hannah!

Watch out! If you cancel your monthly subscription, get it in writing and watch your credit card statements. They canceled mine when I asked them to do so then they turned it back on three months later without my authorization. They say they have the right to charge your card indefinitely. I did not receive any services from them for 22 months of unauthorized charges but they charged me anyway and would not refund the 22 months of money they took from me without my permission.

Our 15th anniversary couples massage was canceled day of because a therapist pulled a muscle last minute when they already replaced a therapist yesterday. They were just going to cancel then but decided it would be better to do it hours before the appointment. Very rude over the phone with nothing but attitude to my wife. Lost our business before we even got to check it out. This wasn’t exactly an appointment that could be rescheduled since it’s a specific day pertaining to an anniversary. They at least apologized for the “inconvenience” but it was just a ruined day they managed to provide.

My mom scheduled 2 massage appointments on the same day, one for me, and one for her. One was at 11:00 and the other at three. She had a family emergency come up and called in to cancel her appointment at 3:00. The next day I went in for my massage which was the 11:00 appointment. I drove 20 minutes to get there, waited in line, then was informed that they didnt have an appointment for me. I told them what had happened and the woman at the front desk informed me that whomever took the cancellation cancelled both appointments instead of just hers. They were fully booked, except for 30-minute appointments, mine was 75 minutes. They didnt try to rebook me, or offer anything for my trouble. It was incredibly disappointing to have your hopes up for a much needed massage-therapy session only to find out after wasting a lot of time that somebody messed up and it isnt going to happen. Those sort of mistakes are easily avoidable and every effort should be made to correct them as quickly as possible. The woman at the counter was friendly and kind. But nobody took any responsibility or did anything to try to make up for the snafu. Im so bummed.

I received an excellent massage today from Piyush. He was kind and professional. He did an amazing job really listening to my trouble areas and focusing on them. His technique with trigger point and deep tissue is wonderful! I highly recommend visiting La Vida and booking with Piyush! Wonderful experience.

I just received a massage from Kevin, he and the staff were very polite As was the masseuse. I informed the staff I suffer from RLS so they could google it if needed. The masseuse was polite but I asked him to be more gentle as he was hurting me and if he could massage slower and more gently so I could relax.. He replied with, sorry its my rhythm. I was ready for the massage to just end so when he checked in with me again I requested the same thing, please just dont work so hard, slow down, softer... He replied with the same, its just my rhythm. He completes ignored my needs and Im sore, itchy from lack of lotion and am extremely disappointed especially since I was a member at the Fayetteville Ar location for 2 years and received up to 3, 2 hour massages a week. I told the receptionist and she looked at me awkwardly and said sorry. Very unfortunate. I dont think its asking very much to do as La Vida advertises and personalize massages to your liking if instead you leave upset, in pain and clearly uncared for in anyway.I did receive a call from the owner after she read my review and she offered me $10 off to give them another try. I think I shouldve received a free massage off or full discount. $10 off? Insulting.

I love LaVida massage! The staff is very professional and nice. Each massage therapist have different modalities that fit just what your looking for. I leave feeling better every time. I highly recommend going to LaVida!

Easy to book a a convenient time and good therapists.

I love Lavida! I used to go to massage envy but they were always running late with appointments and a 50 minute massage would turn into 35 minutes. Not at this spa, they make sure to give their therapist enough time between clients to make sure everyone has enough time to consult or answer any questions or needs I might have.I love this location and the staff there!

Heather Patton is like an artist. I have used several therapists at LaVida over the years, and while they are all great, I think Heather is the best. She is very fluid and smooth in her technique.

I sit at a desk all day and spent a LOT of time clicking on the mouse and typing on my laptop. I didnt know that these micro-movements could cause issues in my shoulders and neck. I had a massage with Lindsay and she was able to educate me on how these micro-movements are causing stress and tension in the muscles. She really dug in on my shoulder and helped alleviate some pain Id been having. She even showed me some stretches that I can do at work that will help prevent my problems. Great massage, great advice!

Had a massage with Brittanie yesterday. I work at a desk all day, so she decided to do trigger point therapy massage, which I had never had before. Best massage ever and we were laughing the whole time! Be back soon :)

Lavida is lovely! Between the decor, which makes an interesting use of shades of green, and the helpful staff you would be hard pressed to find a much better place for your massages, facials, and other treatments. On the topic of skin care, Morrea (apologies for any misspelling) is an excellent esthetician who I have had the pleasure of receiving several treatments from. Will return, sooner rather than later hopefully.

Scheduled my wife a massage so that I could surprise her with something at home when she was done. I specifically told the receptionist this when booking.They cancelled due to illness 40 mins before her massage. Did not call me, called my wife and sure enough she came home early. Ok, so small mistake but thats just the beginning. They were extremely annoyed I had the nerve to ask for a refund, and the owner was exceptionally rude to my wife.Terrible experience and Id recommend going somewhere else (Europa for example).

Laurie is AMAZING! I’ve been seeing her for over a year and the progress we have made on my body has been life changing. I’m a cosmetologist and I was starting to get hunchy shoulders. Laurie immediately started working on that issue and gave me at home exercises to do as well and I no longer have to worry about being “hunchy”. Seriously life changing!

It can take a while to find the right therapist here. Once you do, unfortunately turnover is quite high and once a therapist gives notice they are immediately terminated. Prices are good if you are on a plan.
