Jose is unprofessional 🙄 he booked my appointment and 5 min later calls me back talking about it has to be cancelled. But if I were to call back 5 min later and cancel I would get charged. This place is a scam. Just go to happy feet. Can’t wait until this membership is over because NEVER again.
Worst location and customer service. And Im not usually a person who rates a place low and complain.Unless something has changed at the front desk, they have no clue what they are doing and how to do their job. My wife was the member here and you should be able to give your monthly credit others (with a fee). She really wanted me to get a massage and so she scheduled it over the phone. I showed up for my appointment and it wasnt even scheduled.Wife was pissed but she rescheduled for me. Alright, take two! I go in again and this time I actually have an appointment. Everything at that point was okay. The massage was more fluffier than I would have liked. I have a lot of knots that constantly need some attention. But still, it was okay. I would have given 3 stars at this point. But wait....Great... So I tip the massage therapist and take off because my wifes credit should have covered the rest. Right? Nope.They call my wife freaking out that I didnt pay. What the? They go back and forth and they clearly have messed up on their end and yet theyre mad at us.And that was just one of the many issues we had with them. There were a couple other scheduling issues. To top it off, my wife spoke with a manager who constantly interrupted her but then also hung up on her while she was talking. (See another review posted, were not the only ones).
Chris at the Fremont location is the BOMB. Great bedside manner, professional and very skilled. I highly recommend.
Update:Beware of the Massage Envy Contract. My billing cycle is on the 23rd. I tried to cancel on the 22nd but they said it takes 10days for your cancellation to go through. So they are still billing me for the next months cycle. This is basically a scam for them to bill you extra months. To be fair this is buried in the fine print somewhere in the contract. But 10 days to process a cancellation is ridiculous and can only be there to squeeze an extra month of billing out of their customers.Terrible massage. My last three massages at Massage Envy really sucked. When I first signed up with them they had really good masseuses. But my last few massages were terrible. I think youre better off going to the Asian reflexology places. To be fair the atmosphere is nice though. But if you want an actual good deep tissue massage you probably should go elsewhere.
Massage envy have a deal for new customers $75 for 1 hour massage. The 1 hour isnt enough so I rather book for 1.5 bc it feels so good. They are pretty busy but they work with you sometimes accommodating same day appointments
I have been coming to this location for monthly massages for the last 5 years. For the last 4.5 years I was recommending it to family and friends. Something has happened in the last six months, where I can never get in and the massages are not as good as they used to be. I just called and was told the soonest I can get in is Sept. 5 and that is as a long time member. Guess it is time to quit.
I have an appointment for Jan 3rd and they call in today to have my favorite therapist changed to someone else, very disappointed. They did not even give me an alternative slot with the therapist.But will give them a benefit of doubt as they said it was some personal emergency for with the therapist.
I am giving Massage Envy one star because of the contract that they make you sign when you enroll for membership. When you enroll, they make you sign a contract under which a monthly fee gets deducted from your account for 12 months whether you take or not take a massage session. But on the plus side you accumulate the unused sessions which you can use anytime. Here is the catch, after a 12 month period is over and you call to stop the auto-deduction of payment, you are told that if you cancel you also lose your accumulated massages.I and my wife have roughly 12 already paid sessions, but we are going to lose them because we want to cancel our auto payment deduction from our account.Their contract terms are absolutely not customer centric. The least they could do is let customers use their accumulated sessions.So guys, please understand the terms of your contract carefully when you sign for it.
Absolutely pathetic contract terms. Totally one sided to rip people off. Auto enrollment to next year and not even offering massages and if you try to stop then you loose accrued massages. It is just horrible terms and conditions.

Very rude front desk person, no customer service, they were on the cellphone and gossiping to each other instead of attending to the guest needs, I have to wait for them to finish their conversation and this already used up my time
I called less than 5 minutes ago they tell me to came in and when i get here they tell me no more times why do they make you waste gas
