Massage Envy

UPDATE: Still no phone call from the manager to resolve this issue. I’ve been a member since 2008. But they lost me. Poor management and lack of transparency from the schedulers. No complimentary anything to make up for their constant cancellations.This is going on to be about the 10th time that when I make a massage I get a call on the same day or the day before hand telling me that the massage therapist has had an emergency and cannot perform the massage! Why am I paying all this money when I can’t even get a massage? I have several massages on my account built up because every time I try to make one they call me and cancel! This location is unreliable, and clearly they do not put forth the needs of their members! $70 a month? I’m lucky if I get one massage every other month because they can’t seem to nail down a massage therapist! don’t sign up with this one you will be disappointed. -1 stars

I would never come back to this location. My massage was not good at all. I specified what I needed at the beginning, and then during multiple times. He still didn’t do what I asked. I needed 3 places worked on and he ignored them and and basically did the opposite of what I asked. I have bruising inside my armpits. It’s like he purposely avoided what I told him I needed massaged. He started rubbing my legs and I asked if he could just do my back and he said yeah and never touched my back again, just continued on my legs which are bruised now. I compete in dance competitions and if my bruising isn’t gone by the. I will look ridiculous. I’ve been getting regular massages for 10+ years and no one has ever jammed their thumbs into my armpits repeatedly. I asked for my SI, neck, and shoulders. He barely touched any of those. I left in more pain, and today my pain is excruciating to the point I’m missing work and want to cry. He popped my fingers and one of my knuckles is green with bruising and swollen today. I have more pain than when I came in. I left with pain in places I’ve never had pain before. At the end, he asked if I needed water I said yes and he just left. 0/10 experience.

I always find the front desk at massage envy to be pleasant, helpful and welcoming. My experiences with my masseuse, Ildy and my facial individual Serena to be excellent. I enjoy my membership and will continue it into the future. I would highly recommend this massage envy location to anyone who is looking for great massages, and great facials and skin care.

I go for my monthly message and my therapist is amazing. Dustin is fabulous of being professional and making me feel better after my message.

Hey, just wanted to share my thoughts about the massage place. Kim is amazing at what she does, her massages are really good! The front staff seems a bit tired, but theyre doing their best with their job. The only thing that bothers me is my appointment time. Its at 9 pm, and Kim finishes her other client at that time. She still has to clean up and sanitize the room before my session, which means I dont actually get to start until after that. So its usually around 10 pm when I finish. Im not the only one who feels this way, as others have mentioned the timing and promptness arent as accurate as advertised. But despite that, I absolutely love Kim. Shes fantastic at helping people in pain and magically healing them with her gentle touch.

This place is a complete scam. As a member you have no access to your credits- to know how many you have. You are dependent on the staff to tell you. I was told I had 3 credits left the last time I had come in. I wanted to use them up before my membership ended this week. As I was checking out I was then informed that I did not have credits and that I would now have to pay them $189 for my service. I was shocked. The manager, who was helping me at the time, verified that I don’t have any access to my credits and that yes, the only way to access them is to ask the staff. She said that it was probably someone who was new who gave me the wrong information. I told her that I really did not feel like I should have to pay today seeing as this was their mistake. I asked her to bill me so that I could deal with this issue later as I did not have the time, nor did I have the money at this moment - I did not expect to pay for a $200 service that day. Why would I end my membership for $70 a month to then come in and pay for a $200 service?! She then threatened to call the police if I refused to pay right then and there. What the crazy!! I have been a member for 6 years here- I have always paid my bills and tipped well and THIS is how you treat me!! And, the only reason I was a member for so long is because it is set up to be extremely difficult to quit. I had accrued so many credits and when I needed to quite was told I only had a few weeks to use them or I would loose them. I would be very careful and would absolutely never recommend joining as a member with massage envy. It is a trap and a scam. And their availability for appointments is horrible.

TLDR: they cancelled my husbands appointment after we had already arrived, and payed for the session, because the therapist was uncomfortable with the humor on his intake form. They did issue a refund but no.9ther effort was made to rectify the issue.I brought my husband here as a surprise. He and I are licensed massage therapists ourselves, and its rare we get worked on. I dropped him off, paid for the session and left. Only to find that his appointment was cancelled because Maria didnt like the humor he put of clarifying he isnt pregnant though he is male, of clarifying his cells grow but not at an acceleration rate because he doesnt have cancer and all these other harmless humor while answering questions. I was told that he cant have humor on his intake form and was turned away because of it. My husband and I have been licensed for 14 years each, 8 of which we have spent woth massage envy at various locations in Utah, Oregon, and Nevada. We see humor on the intake all time. I think therapist Maria was looking for an excuse to not work on a 90 minute in the morning, and her manager was supporting her decision because she cant legally reprimand a therapist who states they arent comfortable. The manager tried to tell me that we wouldnt put humor like this to a doctor intake form. Do you really want to bet that?

My first time at this location and it deserves 5 stars. Super clean, welcoming front desk and availability. I was fortunate to get 90 minutes with Tom. He went to work/ healing immediately. Hes focused and motivated to help.

I tried Jade for the first time and it’s was just a basic massage. Waste of my time and money. I asked 3 times for medium heavier pressure and just was inconsistent. Very disappointing. I’ve had four other masseuse’s at this location and they were great! If you like very light handed barely rubbed Jade is for you.

I had a massage by Kit the other day. She is the first therapist to be able to massage my lower back/hip area without me levitating off the table. That area is typically too sensitive. She was phenomenal and I highly recommend her!

Dustin is very good at giving sports stretches. I discovered that I preferred a stretch to a massage because it doesn’t make me feel sore like a massage does when the therapist works out the knots. I’ve been to other locations but Dustin really knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him.

Horrible. I canceled my contract at the Henderson/Green Valley branch after YEARS of being a loyal customer. At time of cancellation, I thought all was well until the following morning when I received a call stating that Id be charged another month since the manager didnt sign off on the cancellation the previous evening. Seriously. After heated phone calls, of which I was never patched through to a manager the charge was not made. Stupid. Only 1 star which should be 0 but in order to post I have to give a star. I feel sorry for anyone that works here, embarrassing. Id rather scrub toilets.

This review is in regards to their management and accountability. I had to reschedule my appointment on a Sunday, 6 hours before it began. I was told, since it was last minute, Id need to pay a 50% deposit fee ($60). I agreed, paid, then rescheduled for the following day. The next day, as Im getting ready to head over, AUDI calls me to cancel last minute. Since I was cancelled on last minute, I asked for a refund of the $60. I have been cancelled on many times by this franchise last minute over the past 5 years Ive had my membership. Yet, I have never once cancelled my own appointment last minute until last Sunday. What gets me, is that they probably still filled that appointment slot (Since I gave 6+ hours of notice) and still profit off me as well.After trying to contact management for 5 days, someone not even in management (Audi) finally get back to me, and relays they will not refund my deposit. Management didnt even have the decency to return the call themselves. Both of our schedules were impacted by this change, yet I am not given the same courtesy. My schedule was rearranged work wise just the same as yours due to a cancellation, but they could care less. I do not feel this is a fair treatment and will not be returning to this location.

It was a great experience, The therapist kit She the best , very professional, friendly. She gave me the right pressure, she really good!! I felt so relaxed and felt like in the cloud ! Moreover the place was clean and the front desk staff was fast and professional too, happy customer! Thank you 🙏

I have been with massage envy for 3 years now, there are things I really like just like the people working there are very experienced. I don’t like Coorporate rules, for exemple if you have 6 hours in your account you can’t use 2 consecutive hours to get a massage, you can only gift 1 hour to a friend each month and not the same person. They should have a rule you can gift at Least 90 mins to a friend since you pay for your minutes. Another thing I don’t like is that when you book a 90 mins massage you actually get 70 mins of real massage. They take 10 minutes before they start and be done about 5-10 mins to let you change which I don’t think is right. You pay for 90 mins hands on but they don’t give you 90 mins hands on. If all these things were not a part of your contract, I would be very happy with Massage envy but I don’t think it will ever be the case. Once I’m done with my hours I am going to cancel my membership. There are other places you can go without having to abide their rules or actually get a real 90 mins massage that you pay for and not just a 70 mins when quoted 90 mins.

I was the worst massage I’ve ever had, not even worthy of a 1. I came in for a deep tissue massage and that is not what I received, the therapist has the lightest touch and that is not what I paid for. The therapist ignored the areas that I specifically asked to be concentrated on. It was the first massage I’ve ever had that I could hardly wait to be over and I was angry the entire session. It was obvious that the therapist does not enjoy what she does. It was a waste of time and especially money. I will be speaking to the manager because when I voiced my concerns to the assistant manager it appeared that she could care less. I was very surprised because Massage Envy used to have very high standards which is no longer the case; or at least at this location.

I have been a member at the Green Valley Massage Envy location for many years. Dustin is my go to therapist. He listens and provides a professional and healing massage. Quality is so good that I now only book 90 minutes The front desk staff are pleasant and well trained and the facility is well maintained and clean. Definitely recommend.

Went in to use my Christmas gift after a year, and booking 3 different times since they got me down for the wrong days and times. I had a massage and facial booked and of course day of it was canceled.the two ladies up front were so rude I have came here many times and never felt so out of place over it will not come back.

All of the therapist was exceptional at his skills. I don’t pay for a 90 minute massage to receive a 75 minute massage. I was not called into the room until eight minutes after which means we didn’t start until at least 12 minutes after. And, he finished at 20 minutes after the hour. That’s just barely a 75 minute massage. I have canceled future massages with him, and that location. And will try a different location. I am also a therapist, so I get the concept of a 55 minute hour. However I do not get the concept of a 75/90 minute session

My massage lady Kit is the best! She works really hard to provide me with top notch service. She delivers excellent customer service, along with her warm healing hands delineating my sore spots. This lady humor is a show stop. I always enjoy my experience at Massage Eny.

I get massages and facials all the time and this experience was terrible. I wanted a relaxing facial and my esthetician was so aggressive, loud and she was like a bull in a China shop constantly hitting the bed, clanking her light and her bracelet kept hitting me in the face. Her technique was terrible and it felt disgusting. She was wearing a rubber glove while doing my facial which felt disgusting on my skin and she was moving so fast and aggressive on my skin it was not relaxing at all! On top of that, she massaged my arms and I could hear her pumping whatever lube she used on my arms out of the container. The lube was cold and sticky and i was covered in it when i left. I felt so disgusting that I didn’t want to touch anything in my car on the way home and immediately took a shower. Massage Envy is providing an experience and people are paying a lot of money to go there and relax. This esthetician needs a lot of training on how to provide a relaxing client experience. Everything she did was so loud, fast and aggressive. I will never go to this location again.

I love going to the Green Valley Massage Envy b/c my favorite therapist is there, Kit. Kit is absolutely amazing! She listens to your needs & is very professional at all times. Even though shes petite she has very strong hands. So, If you like deep tissue she is your gal!!

THE LADIES AT THE FRONT DESK ARETERRIFIC! THEY ALWAYS GREET YOU WITH A SMILE & MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD BEFORE YOU GET YOUR MASSAGE. MY massage therapist Amber was there waiting to take me in to get started. She always wants to know how Im feeling; any aches or pains she needs to address. I had a great experience at massage Envy in Henderson, and it all started on the phone after I read the reviews. I spoke with a young lady name Courtney that very nice, professional and helpful. My massage was done by a young man name Emerson, he was courteous, professional and has magic hands. I appreciate the staff for all their hard work, I will be going back......Especially after i signed up. Lol THANK YOU GUYS!

My first visit to this location. I will recommend that they check their equipment before providing a service to any guest. Need to make sure that the steam equipment are properly cleaned, full of water and ready for to be use when the guest arrives for a massage.

Got a facial. Esthetician was very nice but talked throughout the whole session. It wouldve been 5 stars if she let me relax during the hour with some quiet. Facial itself was good.

This was the worse massage I have ever (Jade) had and I love massage envy. The lady did my back, the back of my legs and my arms.....Not to mention my massage was at 12:30 and I arrived at 12:15, but I sat waiting for her until 12:37. She was sure to end my massage early though.

I’ve been to Jade at the Green Valley Massage Envy three times so far. Each visit gets better and better. I can’t wait for my next massage. She works my muscles like a professional. I highly encourage you to try Jade on your next visit.

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I booked an appointment without knowing about all the wives tales about not getting a massage in your first trimester. When I found out, I got really anxious but couldnt reschedule without throwing my money down the toilet which I cant afford. So I went, and right away the guy at the front desk who Im assuming was Kyle, was very friendly and reassuring that my massage therapist was highly trained and certified in prenatal massages and I will love it. He was right. I think her name was Amber, and she listened to my concerns and eased them right away. She had me lay on my side and stuffed pillows under my leg and chest and one to hold, I felt like I was laying on a cloud! She even warmed up the massage table before I got in there so I was immediately relaxed. Its the little things! She focused on all my problem areas and was gentle yet still worked out all my knots. I ended up signing up for the package so I can come see her every month to work out all my pregnancy aches! Thank you !

Always squeaky clean 🧼I feel very comfortable here. Protocols are in place for masks, remote check-in, cashless transactions, and everything is super sanitized. 😷 Amber B is amazing. She is always attuned to your needs regarding massage pressure, table warmer, injuries, areas that need extra attention, etc. I will wait weeks for her to have an opening and it’s always worth it.

ILDIKO is my favorite massage therapist! She is the reason I have a Massage Envy membership and I book months in advance to make sure she can work on my muscles. I workout almost everyday and my body gets so tight. I have been seeing her for almost 3 years now and her professionalism as well as her wonderful manner of personality has created the BEST experience for me each and every-time I see her! We happen to both be Hungarian also so what a JOY that we found each other through Massage Envy! The Green Valley Parkway location has been my home for massage.

Amarea did a great job on my facial. It was thorough and relaxing. Adrianna at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the anti-aging products and was able to suggest a cream that is perfect for me. I’ll be coming back regularly.

The front staff was nice and professional, the therapist did a good job, and the spa was clean. I also liked that they had fans for the rooms and heating tables because I prefer to be cool during a massage and having the option was nice.

Great place to have a massage. The front staff are courteous and efficient and the therapists Kim, Taylor and Bree. are the very best.Prices are excellent especially if you have more than 1 massage a month. I book two weeks in advance and get an even better rate.No better way to end your day than a visit to this Spa.

Very relaxing. My regular masseuse has been booked minths out and my trigger points needed some attention fast! Definitely helped to relievesome of my aches and pains. Ended up signing up for ther membership because I will definitely be back at least once a month.

This company as a whole is way more interested in the corporate side of things than their customers. The massages are great, but you are obviously a wheel in their money-making cog and everyone seems pressured to sell you anything and everything on their shelves. Almost every massage therapist I had there felt the need to unload their relationship problems on me during the massage, including the woman who I had the morning after I got engaged. Very awkward! For the price, I would much rather go to a local business and support someone I like.

Massage was just okay. It felt rushed. Too much time wasted on hot towels. I came for a massage, not a sponge bath. I am a beautiful, clean woman ... but it felt like the therapist didnt want to touch me. I was actually counting the minutes until it was over. I did feel somewhat better the next day (back injury), and the staff was friendly, but it was weird. Will try someone else next time or another location since the front desk said she was their best.

We made an appointment days ago for a facial we even got a text insuring our appointment too. Then we received a a call 20mins before our appointment canceling both of our appointments. Totally disappointed with them will never go. So unprofessional.

I’ve been an ME member for about 20 years. Mary Lou provided a first class, professional 90 min massage yesterday. She was able to work on all my problem areas and I woke up today feeling brand new!

As we traverse these challenging times amidst pandemics, civil unrest, and threats of war, we struggle to hold fast to some semblance of normalcy and consistency to help us make it through. Retaining access to massages has been one of those elements of normalcy for me. I am grateful to Massage Envy for implementing measure that enable its customers to continue receiving therapeutic sessions during these challenging times.However, my LMT, Kim, has been a genuine bonus over the years (soon to be decade)! Kim continues to be a valuable source of comfort, normalcy, and consistency in my life. For 90 minutes, Kim creates a friendly and professional environment in which I can temporarily shed my day-to-day concerns while receiving the worlds finest massage and most engaging conversation to boot! During every session, Kims dedication to quality, excellence, and professionalism is always apparent. To date, I have never left a session with Kim thinking That massage was ok. Ive always been astounded by how consistently good each session has been, if not somehow better than the previous session.Im confident that if we put Kim on COVID-19 research and convince world leaders to receive a massage from her, our world would be in a much better position! #TeamKim #Kimisawesome

Randy my therapist earned all of the stars! While Im very understanding of front desk staff, they failed me big time today.My best friend back home has too many massages from her member ship and enjoys gifting them to us. If the FD gals had opened their ears to listen, i wouldnt have missed the first 10 minutesof my massage. However they did not and I did. Please learn the basic procedures and I might have signed up today. You failed so I can not in good conscience.

Great esthetician, the receptionistS took just as much time to checkout than the double session booked with my mom for her birthday. Ruined the whole experience though sadly, from a mood of zen to spending 30 mins voiding transactions and have staffed multiple cashiers not knowing how to use the POS system. As going to buy products but it took them too long to do that as well. Reiterating how great the esthetician was, she need an establishment to match.

Im at a lose I just dont know how to be more clear, equal time on all body parts,I dont want to have my back massaged for the entire massage.Again, history repeats flipped me over and spent 5 minutes finishing the massage.No front of legs, arms, delts, face, neck or head. I was shocked when he said ok, hope you enjoyed the massage.Its hard to keep track of time while being massaged, so I was expecting him to finish the rest of my body parts, NO didnt happened. Therapist are not listening or they dont know how to correctly pace the massage.I should mention I worked at an upscale spa for years as a massage therapist. So Im well aware of massage practices and a good massage verses an ok massage.What was done was ok, too much time in the same area, upper back, calves and hamstrings.Front desk staff was all great. Very clean and peaceful surroundings.

I love getting massages here. Lee is my favorite therapist because he actually uses firm to deep pressure when I need him to. I know sometimes I wait too long in between sessions, but Lee always works to get me moving again.

Kim has been my massage therapist for several years. She knows where I have issues and gives the best massage. I have recommended her to several friends and family.

My appointment was for 1pm, didn’t get called back until 10 after. Therapist made up the time. Kit was good.

Yamile is very personable and always makes my facial enjoyable. I also appreciate her helpful tips on what to do at home until my next visit. My skin thanks her too🤗

I had a great experience and really enjoyed my facial. Massage Envy really stepped up their game since I was there last with their professional products theyre using. Theyre really good.

I went to this place and saw Jerome....Oh my gosh what a joke!!! He shakes your back, avoids the areas you mention and then puts hot towels on your face and proceeds to massage your face....UGH worst massage EVER. Was then describing to a co-worker and she too had same experience with this guy over 18 months ago. We cant be the only ones who complained about him. They did schedule me back the following day with Heleine who I must say is amazing. So I would say if you truly want a massage make sure its not with this guy Jerome

So, this is literally the first time I have ever left a review for anything, but felt compelled to do so as my poor experience with Massage Envy throughout COVID had really lessened my faith in this company.However, the manager Hildy (I hope that’s how it is spelled) at the Green Valley Parkway location in Henderson was very attentive and understanding as I went in today to explain my current financial hardships and needing to cancel my membership despite there being 17 hours of massages accrued on my account that I hadn’t used since pre-COVID 2020.Hildy immediately stopped payment on my monthly fee, refunded it, and explained that I could use as much time as possible over the next 3 weeks before coming back in to see her on July 1st to decide whether I want to freeze my account for 3-6 months to keep the remaining time intact and give me time to get my finances in order, or ultimately choose to cancel my membership, where I would then have 60 days to use the remaining time I had left after using as much time as I could in June.Hildy restored my faith in Massage Envy as a whole and her location specifically, as I had previously felt that they were only looking for a way to convince me to keep paying monthly even though I was struggling financially and too busy to use the time I had saved up. She was patient and attentive and helped me find a solution that benefited both myself and Massage Envy.Thank you for showing me that good customer service still exists, Hildy!!

I have been a member here for years. They have great massage therapists for every type of massage you may need (deep tissue, relaxation, etc). Just started getting facials. Very pleased. Always professional. Great customer service on point.

I scheduled an appointment online, and it was somehow deleted. They were booked out for over a month, so I had to wait, and I’d been really looking forward to it. The night of the appointment I double checked my online account just to verify, and saw that I had no upcoming appointments on the schedule. I called the location, confused and frustrated. The receptionist confirmed my fears. Nothing on the schedule for me. I’m now very frustrated with some extra knots.

I was running late to a 1 hour facial. Arrived 12 minutes after my scheduled start time, to be told that I would have to pay for the session AND reschedule because the esthetician had turned off her steamer and needs to prepare for her next appointment. I dont understand why she would need 45 minutes to prepare for her next appointment when she was scheduled with me for those 45 minutes.. I cant imagine a steamer is too much of a hassle to turn on.I asked to speak with the esthetician to see if we could make a shortened facial work in the time left, but she was not able to come to the front counter, until I was about to leave she came out from the back, peaked around the corner then turned around.Not a bad place, or bad people, but no sense of above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I cancelled my membership 2 weeks ago and I have scheduled weekly service to use up my pre-paid sessions before they expire in the given 70 days after cancellation.

Kim is my favorite masseuse at ME!! She is so kind, respectful, pleasant to talk to, and above all--SKILLED at what she does. Can’t say enough kind words about her--give her a raise!

I live on the other side of town but tried this location because I was dog sitting nearby .... and now, I HAPPILY drive over 30 miles every two weeks back here because of the most amazing massage therapist I was lucky enough to find! Yoanka is THE BEST, if you can book an appointment with her then do it, she knows how to melt all the stress away, hit all the feel-good areas, release all my knots, and make me fall asleep within the hour. I’ve had a Massage Envy membership off and on over the past 8 years and tried a lot of therapists, but Yoanka is one I am sticking with!!

Ildiko is a great !! She is a professional, takes the time to make sure your needs are meet. She has a wonderful smile to greet you and is friendly through out your visit.

My massage with Kit (Green Valley Location) was the absolute best I’ve had in a long time! She is amazing!

I had a facial with Yamile and she was wonderful and very experienced and good at her profession. I will definitely be booking an appointment with her again soon!

Ive had massages with two different therapists and both were excellent. I went ahead and signed up on their plan for more routine services. Theyre always professional, friendly, and helpful.

Be careful before you sign in to contract!!!! I was trying to cancel my membership brcause I did my one year contract but they said They cannot cancel it because there is no manager so they will going to charge me again the membership fee for this month. Last time I come over at the green valley location to cancel my membership they said I have to wait for another month and they never told me about the 10 day process.Now they will charge me again just because there is no manager. You will get additional charges because there is no manager to cancel your membership!

I love coming here to get my massages I have had several different people do my massages but Amber is the best I prefer know one else if shes not available Ill keep trying until she has an opening

Not really Happy with my massages but Im stuck in a contract. The masseuses are very average. The massage should feel like youve had one once you left. Its ok for a quick fix.

Kimberly is the best. She’s in demand for a reason. I almost don’t want to post this because it will limit my options, but the world should know how great she is.

Kit was just right for me the right pressure and the right spots really knew what she was doing no slack time all work very very good.

If you like a real deep massage, Dustin is your guy. He was able to work on my knots and aches. He is awesome!

You wanna ask for Cory if you like deep tissue massage. He’s the best I’ve ever had!! He knows his muscles perfectly and he’ll heal you!

I’m giving 4 star because the stuff and massage therapist was always so nice and polite. However I felt like the session was not that great for me this 3rd times.

This was my first time at this location. It was clean, I was greeted at the door, I didn’t have to wait for my appointment and DUSTIN was amazing

My message with Justin was very helpful in removing tension and stiffness that has built up in my back! Would definitely recommend him.

Relaxing! Just the right amount of pressure to work on the knots without making it painful. She gave great advice to help with stress.

I went to cancel my membership after a year and a half, and it was such an ordeal of going thru channels of explaining to 2different people, why, i dont need to explain why, but to tell me you have a number that didnt work is Not true, as ive had this new number over a year ,which you call on! Was handled very poorly
