Loved this spa! It was such an amazing experience my bestie and I spent the whole day here ( about 8 hours ). So much to do, they have many rooms, different themes, a movie theater where you can stream Netflix and watch a movie, they have child care, a cafe, a restaurant, a bar, golf and karaoke. 10/10 will definitely be back.

Love love LOVED this place! Entry fee was reasonable, staff was polite and the facility was immaculately clean. Each room had a unique theme and were evenly distributed by temperature. My favorite was the bead room along with the bathing area in the women’s locker room. Talk about total relaxation! We will be back.

This was a very relaxing experience. I was confused at first on taking showers and not having shoes but the floors are clean. Everyone is nude and there are separate areas for men and women to shower. The other areas are unisex. When you arrive, you put your shoes and belongings in a locker and pay the admission fee. It is $39 M-Thurs and $49 Fri-Sun. Then they give you a wrist band that connects all your purchases together. After a shower, I went to the hot tub at 108-109degrees and waited for them to call my name for the Korean scrub. I paid $70 for the 30 min scrub and it was worth it.I went to the Korean restaurant on the 2nd floor and had Bulogi ramen and the fried dumplings. They give you a lot of food and it was delicious. Then I went downstairs and had a peach bubble tea. My total came to $126.53 for everything. If you decide to visit, keep an open mind and bring socks!

This was one of the best spa experiences Ive ever had. I didnt get a service this time around, but I enjoyed this place so much that I will be returning from Los Angeles in a couple of months primarily to spend more time there. I will not be staying at the White Hall (read my review about that place). I digress. The spa is reasonably priced, has several saunas and pools at varying temperatures. Quiet rest areas throughout the facilities. Upstairs theres a restaurant with delicious Korean food. I got the spicy pork...lordt🔥🔥 theres a bar with beer and wine and an outside patio that was giving zen garden. Theres also golf if thats your thing. Andddddd you can bring your kids. A small piece of heaven on earth if you ask me. Highly recommended!

All of the employees were kind and helpful and my massage was very relaxing. However, It was hard to relax when people talk loudly in the “Quiet Areas” and inside the rooms, other guests scroll aimlessly on social media, playing videos out loud with no regard for others. Also, the spa world outfit had a very odd smell. The food was amazing. I had chicken ramen and shrimp tempura. I also tried the blueberry moscato which did not disappoint.

Amazing experience!! Went here on a Tuesday with a girlfriend. You can book appointments (scrub, massage, etc) online but decided to do everything upon checking in since we knew there wouldn’t be much people. Arrived around 2 and booked a scrub then massage right after (definitely what I recommend!!). No need to bring anything since they provide you with clothes for co-ed rooms and no clothing is allowed in the whirlpools and saunas (be warned). Alternated from the hot to the cold pools then sauna/steam before getting our scrub 10/10. They ask you where you want them to target or focus on during your massage which I super appreciate. Did the 80 minutes with the hot stone for the first time. You can spend an easy 4 hours here no biggie. An oasis in Houston ☺️🧖🏽‍♀️ There’s sleeping areas, a theatre, canteen, golfing and ample hot rooms to choose from. Only suggestions would be to open 24hrs all day since people have different shifts.

The spa is expensive compared to Japan, but that is because it’s much less crowded than spas in Japan. There was a good variety of baths (not quite as pretty as Gangnam Spa but the same selection), and a big selection of the mix-gender clothes-on spa rooms. I didn’t see anywhere that swimsuits were allowed (another reviewer complained about it so maybe they changed policy), and the staff made sure to keep things clean. The food was pretty good with huge portions. The Bibimbap hot stone bowl meal was ~$17.Tons of parking, and also lots of big recreation rooms that would be fun for a big group. Also I saw some guys golfing in their golf gear in the simulator- which is a good deal to get the membership for compared to normal golf prices (especially because it includes the spa!).

It was a wonderful spa experience! The hot and cool tubs were pleasant and invigorating. The saunas were excellent and varied. They ranged from a cold sauna just above the freezing point to a dome so hot I couldnt handle it for half a minute! The food was excellent, and our favorite room was the Ocher Ball Room. So comfortable! The staff are professional and kind and very skilled; the body scrub ladies, the massueses, the chefs, and all the others with whom we interacted while there.I highly recommend going if you have the chance!

Definitely a place to visit. Such a relaxing environment. They do not allow shoes but the floors and entire place is very well kept and clean. I was with a group my first visit. 4 of us got massages. Mine was not great but everyone else really enjoyed their sessions. Since then I’ve been back with my husband. We didn’t do any additional services but the sauna rooms are enough to relax even the most tense individual.

First time at a spa ever. Was here on a Friday afternoon.Once you enter in, you have to put the shoes you walked in with in a small locker. Youre given a spa uniform, which is a t-shirt and shorts, with 2 small blue towels. Men are given a different color uniform than the women.I asked for a tour but it ended up just being a brief overview of the place and pointing out a few key spots. The floors were not cold and very clean. Didn’t even need my socks. The gender-separated lockers are bigger than the locker in front and you are given a key with a wristbrand to wear throughout your time there. The restrooms, pools, saunas, and showers are also right there. I actually thought the pools were co-ed and would be in a separate area.Like the reviews said, you do have to feel comfortable with being nude and seeing nudity once you enter the locker/shower area. Your hair has to be tied up when youre in the pool and no cameras allowed. Outside of the locker/shower area, theres no need to be nude.I booked a Shiatsu Massage online and didn’t realize I had to arrive 20 minutes early. It got pushed back, which was needed. They only have female masseuses. The lady I had was Lucy. Never done a shiatsu massage so I didnt fully know what to expect beyond one Youtube video I watched. All my clothes had to be off. She emphasized that there is no oil involved, but ended up applying a lot of oil when she initially said she will use a little. She also kept asking if I liked a swedish or deep tissue massage. She started off hard but switched to gentler strokes. I felt sore later in the day in certain areas of my body. The oil they use for massages is coconut oil.Was I relaxed? No. But Ive never really felt relaxed during a massage except once. Massages are once in a blue moon experiences for me.There are rooms upstairs and downstairs. Both levels have an area to dine. Upstairs has some private rooms and an area with a stage and large TV screen with recliners and long couches. Wifi is available. Saw a few individuals with laptops.I think I tried/looked at every room they had:Ocher Ball Room (145 F, it gets pretty hot) ⭐️Pyramid Room ⭐️Jade Room (93 F, salt with heat)Far infrared wave room ⭐️Forest room (ok)Arctic Room (43 F)Himalayan Salt Room (136 F, it’s pretty hot)Fire dome (super hot, feet will burn)Theater room (big screen with recliner chairs; they have different streaming services available)Private Golf rooms + open area for golfDownstairs had mats to lie down on and sleep off, cool down, or whatever. For a Friday, it seemed semi-busy later in the afternoon. I would say it wasnt crowded enough because you could find an empty room for a few minutes or a room with 1 or 2 people. Most people came in a group (family or friends) or as a couple. They provide free water with small cups in the lockers and by the restaurant upstairs. You can also bring a water bottle.Overall, it was a nice experience. I have nothing to compare it against.

UPDATE # 2 (Body Scrub): Finally worked up the courage and made time to do the scrub. If I was already in love with this place, this just gave me one more reason to be completely obsessed!!My experience with Choi was exceeded every expectation I had, which is saying something, because Ive only heard great things about the Korean scrubs at Spa World.Ill admit there were a few things I was nervous about, none of which ended up being a problem. I thought the scrub part would be a little painful, but it was fine. I worried Id be uncomfortable with getting that up close and personal in my birthday suit, but I had no issues there either. I went with the Scrub & Goddess, because I wasnt sure Id even be comfortable with the scrub itself much less the massage part that the scrub plus has. There was still a light oil massage in between the scrub and the wrap and it was honestly the best massage ever. Very light, but so relaxing, better than any actual massage place Ive been to. While the body wrap was fantastic, I will definitely be trying out the scrub plus next time. Also, just as an added bonus, the products they used (soap, shampoo, mango coco butter for the wrap) all smelled heavenly! I really debated doing it for a while, because I wasnt sure I wanted to spent the money on it. This ended up being my mothers gift, but I can now confidently say it is 100% worth every penny. All in all, I give the whole experience a 20 out of 10. If I could, I would add 5 more stars to my Spa World review just for the scrub!UPDATE: Several visits since my first one, and I would still give this place 5+ stars. It is seriously the best self-care experience and Ive seen noticeable improvement in my physical and mental health when I can get even a couple of visits a month. Spa World is my happy place 🥰Original:I am not really much of a spa person, but I had my first experience at a Korean spa at Spa World recently, and all I have to say is WOW! Seriously cant believe weve had something like this so close to home for a couple of years and we just found out about it.I went with my mom to take advantage of the promo they were having for teachers, and we were blown away by how beautiful the place was and how many different things there were to do.The value for everything they offer was incredible. $40 for the weekday admission and we had access to the locker room, bathhouse which had 5 different pools of different temperatures, tons of sauna rooms and lounge/relaxation areas, a beautiful outdoor terrace area, and even some little museum type areas with Korean artifacts. You can very easily spend an entire day here and get more than your moneys worth. They also have some separate areas that can be used without the spa admission (for a separate fee) - like a kids playground, Korean restaurant, bar, golf and the one I was most excited about - a private karaoke room! All in all, we had the best day and it was a great mother-daughter bonding experience. Highly recommend 😊

Absolutely phenomenal, my best friend and I had the best time there. It was so amazing we ended up going twice in one week. Slightly overpriced for the entry fee/scrubs, I was disappointed in my scrub with Ms.Young, she scrubbed my back for only 10 minutes out of my 60 minute treatment. Whenever I indulge in a body scrub, the best part is when they take their time to be thorough with the treatment to ensure all the dead skin is off every square inch on your body, this was NOT that. She wasn’t thorough with my scrub like most other places are, and she didn’t really use much pressure to get all the dead skin cells off. I definitely would have preferred someone with more rigor during treatment, this was quite soft and gentle. The tubs were mostly clean, however they do allow people in bathing suits in the bath house so there is quite a bit of contamination from that. Once you’re out of the bathhouse area however everything else is absolutely phenomenal. All the saunas were incredible, especially the oven and the ochre room.Food was super yummy, dumpling were awesome!Overall this place was quite wonderful and my friend and I can’t wait to be back again!!there were people who were bathing in bathing suits which can contribute to the

Great experience! The bath house and various saunas were all a fun experience. In the bath house, just know you have to be fully naked in order to use the various baths and wet saunas. However, you dont need to use the bath area and can go straight to the other rooms after changing into the spa uniform. All rooms have their individual functions, which you can find detailed information on their website. The Arctic room is a cool room (40-45°F) to cool off before heading off to another room. The Fire Dome is the opposite, an extremely hot dome (up to 185°F). When first entering, it can feel quite suffocating, and the floor is very hot (even though its covered by mats). But it gets easier to bear and stay longer in after visiting the dome a few times. Personally, wearing socks helped me. Its a great experience, and you should at least try it once, even if that means just popping your head in.The food here is decent and overpriced. The rooftop garden is a very nice place to just chill.

Never been before. Many people i knew in the past were too shy and some new friends are too shy to go with me so I went by myself today. Everything is great and food cafeteria on the second floor was awesome. They also have small curated art collections dispersed throughout the facilities. Compulsive showering is permitted here so that works for me and my OCD (although I’m getting better). I like the large gallon shampoo. Made my hair super clean and kinda fluffy in a good way. Not my usual stuff. My favorite room was the clay bead room. I fell asleep several times in different places. Nice kid amenities. I might bring the baby to try it out sometime. I lost my fave hair pin in the nap pod somewhere but that’s ok. They have “stop human trafficking” signs up everywhere too

Went with my boyfriend and we thought we were going to have a great time. When we enter, two young ladies greeted us and explained the price and what to expect.Walking into the ladies changing area, it was a bit underwhelming and noticed instead of using air conditioner, they had fans on top of each corners. The bath area looked okay, but noticed a bit of stains when getting into the hot tub, cold pool, and jet pool. I only stayed in the bath area for 20 minutes max. They do provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap (It was alright…).When exploring the rooms, it didn’t have an explanation such as the benefits, what’s it for, and what to expect. It felt like they built because it looked cool. One room that they really need to work on is the Artic Room. When you enter, it just a big gulp of ice cube and it looked like it had pink slime or something.Going upstairs it was a bit confusing to search for the patio. The second floor is mostly conference and storage rooms. The food looked a bit overpriced and the alcohol drink too. Honestly, you can go to a nice restaurant and order something better. The sofas seemed worn out and outdated.Overall I wouldn’t come back. But if anyone is reading this comment don’t waste you’re money and go to Gangnam Spa. It’s $10 more but worth it.

AH-MAZING!! My boyfriend and I went on a weekday, so there wasn’t that many people. We both loved the experience! Don’t let the no clothing at the bath area scare you, for those who are a bit more conservative, they have closed showers available. The bath tho is amazing on its own too so try not to miss it! But if you’re a bit more shy, try to go hours that are pretty slow and empty. They also have bigger towels you can rent, and just take it off and put it to the side when you enter the bath. On the women’s side, everyone tends to stay with their group or themselves and don’t bother you. On the mens side, my bf said that guys would try to talk to him 😅 But they were respectful to keep their own space. The cafe there was great too! The lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful! The food was great too!! Overall it was an Amazing experience! My bf and I enjoyed ourselves!!

I have been coming here for the past year about once a week now. They have areas where it says quiet zone like in the sauna rooms and downstairs. They have an upstairs area by the cafe where there are no signs that state quiet zone so I went up there to do a 20 min zoom meeting to be considerate of other guests. The manager approached me and told me my phone was too loud yet the man talking on the phone next to me or the people walking around chatting were fine being way louder than me. There was no sign saying to be quiet in that area. I took photos of all upstairs area and no quiet zone signs posted like the have in the saunas. I am disappointed in this place.

The spa isnt worth the money. I booked (2) 80 min deep tissue massages and (2) 30 min foot reflexology massages. We getting to the facility and they charge me another 78 dollar fee for admissions WILD but I pay it, the massages were amazing but then they asked for a tip then I tipped 30 bucks they hunted my mother in law and i down in the shower room to request additional tips. They require you to be fully unclothed in order to use the sauna pools GROSS, especially for immune suppressed patients such as myself. The admission fee rooms were not appealing and small so you didnt even want to go in. The decor is not relaxing, didnt see the karaoke room, no employees around to ask if you needed help finding anything. The uniforms are a cheap way to not give you robes in my opinion. They claim you can charge things to the bracelet they give you because your card is on file but then when you go to exit they stop you to receive payment claiming they remove your card when your services start BACKWARDS MUCH! Its NOT worth the money and ruined my mil first spa experience and our celebration of her donating her kidney to me. LOOK AT OTHER SPAS. They may blacklist me according to TIKTOK but thats perfectly fine because I do not plan on returning.

I wish there was a way to give a more negative rating. This place is a scam, especially if you go with kids. Let me explain: I was charged an extra $500 for kids who werent even on the premises. Yesterday, I went with my family. We checked in seven kids, understanding that depending on their age, it would cost $10 to $15 for 2 hours, and you had to babysit them if they were under 6. My sister and I took turns watching the kids every 30 minutes, and by the third turn, they were hungry. The kids were only there for 1 hour and 30 minutes. We took them to the restaurant upstairs to eat. After they ate, their dad picked them up, and they left. A couple of hours later, my sister left too, leaving me alone.Heres where it gets crazy. When I went to check out, I was charged $800. I questioned why, and they said they charge $1.50 every 10 minutes after the 2 hours. I explained that the kids were in the play area for only 1 hour and 30 minutes and then went to eat at their restaurant. The manager told me that as long as they were on the premises, they were being charged, and even after they left, I was still being charged for them as long as I was there. This is absurd. This place is committing daylight robbery. I will never go back, will never recommend it, and will make sure anyone who mentions going there knows about my horrible experience.

I love to frequent this place with my aunt and sister. The cleanliness is typically spot on. We love the matcha frappes and the ramen. It’s definitely a nice way to spend the day.Cons: I couldn’t see spending the full price for this spa with the maintenance declining. I really hope they find ways to keep up the facilities. Many of the massage jets weren’t working in the women’s water area and my husband stated the same our last visit. The projector/media equipment wasn’t working for the forest room or the theater room, and the staff fumble with the remotes clearly not understanding them. Lastly, the signs instructing people not to touch or allow multiple people on furniture and the noticeable damage of the jade room walls indicate that they need a damage waiver instead of posting laminated signs everywhere. This really lessens the look of a relaxing experience. It’s unfortunate that there’s obviously been reckless guests at the establishment. Post a sign for damage waiver at the front and ask them to leave. Deny entry again to rowdy patrons.

I was disappointed. I go to a spa like this solely for the bulgama, which is a very hot sauna around 185 to 195 degrees. Inexplicably, all other rooms at Spa World have a thermometer showing the temperature except the bulgama. On my visit, I think the bulgama was WAY hotter than the usable range of 185 to 195--it literally burned my feet to even walk into it. I can typically stay in a bulgama for 30 minutes, but I could only manage a few minutes in this one. Other patrons there the same day who had visited the spa before noted the bulgama was MUCH hotter than normal and walked back of it immediately. I asked an employee but nothing changed. While we stayed at the spa a few hours and returned to the bulgama many times, I saw NO ONE use it that day, presumably because it was much too hot. So, the whole visit and money were wasted for me.

Fully nude, gender separated, pajama sets.Oddly they don’t give sandals for the common area (I’m used to that in China) so it’s barefoot or socks. Welcome to my new addiction!! I’ve watched enough K dramas to be intrigued by Korean bath houses. Nothing prepared me for the lovely experience that it was!! Having 8 children whom I have homeschooled for 21 years, finally finding such a relaxing place is a GOLD MINE!!!Several different hot and cold saunas (rooms), a gold area, a snack bar, so so many varied kinds of rooms to relax in, 3 stories, Korean art (almost like a museum), a kids area that is amazing, karaoke (hitting that next visit), and massages or spa treatments!!GET EXFOLIATED!!! Trust me!! I have great hygiene but that gal got so much dead skin off of me! Places I can’t reach, plus she knew what she was doing. It feels like she’s scraping your skin off at first, but stay with it! You lay down on a rubber table naked, bowls of warm water are poured over it and you constantly. It’s just amazing. Do it!My FAVORITE room was the Cedar room. Made of cedar planks, it’s heavenly smelling! The atmosphere is so calm. There were ocean scenes playing. I wanted hours to read and nap in there ALONE.I have no choice but to return and live there one day when it opens to when it closes.Join the membership and get benefits and coupons!!All the reviews that were bad were the bag policy (now changed again), dissatisfied with food (that can happen at any restaurant), or they didn’t like a worker. The ONLY complaint I have (and management please fix it!) is that the cascading shower in the hot pool is broken. The one on the frozen water pool works. FIX THE HOT WATER CASCADE SPOUT!!If you’re hesitating because you don’t want to be naked, then you need this. Expand yourself and embrace your body. Went with my partner and we enjoyed the spa. The restaurant was really delicious. Its nice that you dont have to carry cash around and instead you have a wireless wrist band that charges everything. You are given a spa uniform top and bottom to change and you walk in to the spa bare feet. You gotta be okay with being naked around other naked people to come and experience the wet areas. I would come back, a little disappointed the sleeping pods were under construction when I visited. You can spend a whole day here!

Spa World is a pretty decent Korean spa thats pretty affordable. I was able to get a Groupon and I went on a Tuesday. There was barely anyone there! Maybe like 1-2 other people in the spa, and there was plenty of room in the heated rooms 😄. The ochre ball room is my favorite. Theres no big towels here so I recommend bringing a big towel! Just keep in mind that the Korean spa is completely nude, they will give you a little uniform too to walk around in in the coed areas. We also went to the korean restaurant upstairs and got the seafood pancake and seaweed soup. The prices are a little higher than usual but its still ok and it was tasty. The seafood pancake was massive!

This place is amazing. Traditional Asian bath house style. Wonderful relaxing activity, great to teach self-care. Its family oriented, and they have a kids world inside. I loved the clay ocher ballroom. I went into the common areas with my oldest. The climate in the forest room was his favorite 😍 I love the fact that older children can free roam in common areas. The atmosphere is so quiet and tranquil. Everything is clean, I loved the bath house and exfoliation stations in the womens locker room. I was sad to see the stream room was not functioning almost with some of the seated showers. They have other amenities, but these are my favorite.

This might be a long review...anyway..this was my first time coming here. I wanted to do something different for my birthday this year! First of all..the customer service is top tier..lets just start there. They make you feel soo welcomed. They explained all the different rooms to us. You DO have to be in the nude in certain areas. BUT, please believe everyone is LITERALLY minding their own business! If you feel awkward..I guarantee someone else probably does too!I loved the 90° pool! It was so relaxing and of course I had to be in there to soak anyway. Since I booked a Korean body scrub! The lady who scrubbed me down had me feeling like a brand new woman! I mean literally scrubbed the skin off of my skin! OH, i also booked a foot reflexology appt. Which was soo relaxing as well. The lady was so sweet and did an amazing job! I literally dozed off!Everything was so clean..and the vibes here were just a 10/10. I didnt try the bar..but that KOREAN RESTAURANT UPSTAIRS??! OMG..please do NOT leave this spa without getting a bite to eat there! Sooo good..and FRESH‼️ I ordered the spicy pork ramen and it was sooo flavorful and DELICIOUS. The only thing I will say is the golf area is literally right outside the restaurant. So, you will frequently hear golf balls hitting the net!I HIGHLY recommend coming here and you wont be disappointed!

The spa was super clean and organized. Not an easy feat for a place thats constantly wet or dealing with a lot of condensation. The pools were definitely worth trying. The different rooms were worth an exploration too. Lots of cool historical items decorated the quiet areas. I could definitely see myself melting away a bit in the forest room or on the comfy loungers in the theatre. Ill definitely be coming back.

Beautiful facility and a zen atmosphere—the saunas themselves I’d rate 5 of 5 stars. The only 2 things worth addressing would be the cold room needs to be repaired, so it’s truly a cold room. And the dry sauna needs to be hotter—the steam room is idyllic.

A beautiful, relaxing, rejuvenating, sanitary, wonderful experience. There are so many options, and each one is carefully curated to provide a healing and comfortable experience. I truly cannot recommend this place enough, they have a lifetime customer in me!

****This is strictly a Boba Tea🧋 review..****The petite Asian lady that manages/works the boba tea and snack area is extremely rude. I highly suggest bring your own snacks and buy your own boba tea prior to attending the spa. I honestly feel sorry for the young lady that has to work with this rude human being. I’ve attended the spa quite often over the past 2 to 3 years (11-2 times a month) and her attitude has not changed. It just keeps getting worse. I requested for no ice because when you order Boba Tea🧋 if they put too much ice, this location tends to do, you’re unable to, enjoy the boba/tapioca. This time around I requested for no ice and she was pissed off and made rude comments indirectly to me. I can go to any Boba Tea🧋 spot in the Houston area and they have no problems with this request, and chose the ice level, but this request literally blew her head off. She was furious. They don’t have options to choose the sugar percentage of their drinks like the average Boba Tea🧋 spots within the Houston /Katy Area. The food upstairs is good, Services is OK and consistent )no complaints). But the boba tea service downstairs is horrible. Going forward. I’ll be bringing my own snacks and drinks and stick to the hot food upstairs. I’ve learned my lesson one too many times with this lady.

Place needs some serious updating. The nude spa pools are really dated, the forest room could use a higher quality projector, flooring is cheap and damaged. We went here on Monday for a couple of hours. It was very interesting that customers need to take shoes off first before checking in because we are barefoot in the same area where people are tracking in dirt with their shoes. We had gotten our tickets through Groupon for a cheaper price, but I honestly wouldnt come back here. I prefer Gangnam spa as the quality is much better in every way.The atmosphere felt like it was all over the place. Korean history items were displayed, but strewn around randomly and virtual golf that no one was using. There was a rooftop patio that felt like a room demo straight from home depot. We didnt taste the food knowing it was very expensive for cheap items such as $16 instant ramen... The saunas were ok for the most part. Most room temps felt the same... Just different themes. Bulgama was way too painfully hot for us to use. I think the only favorite rooms are the clay ocher ball room and forest room. It was very annoying having the clay balls being caught on you and every time you walk out the door, one falls and you step on it. Its basically everywhere, so watch where you step. There was a worker who was an older lady with tied back, blonde hair, and huge earrings loudly talking on her phone with face time in middle of the entrance to the ladies bathhouse. The spa is supposed to be peaceful and quiet, but this was obnoxious. We went inside the bathhouse where you have to be nude in order to use the baths and almost everything is broken... Saunas were room temp and the massage water jets were broken... Comparing spa world baths to Gangnam and Spa Castle, it was very boring. No herb baths, decor or anything; just looks like a jail to be honest. The most crazy part of all was the same older, blonde lady that was ON HER PHONE IN THE NUDE BATHHOUSE!!! I was baffled because after her talking on her phone, she chased after a girl who brought her phone in the bathhouse to put it away .There is a strict phone rule here, but relaxed for only the employees? I felt super uncomfortable when I saw her with her phone while showering and left promptly after that. Gangnam spa will be my to go from now on in Houston, even if its a drive.

Clean enough, not busy at all during the weekdays, friendly staff who have use a quick tour of the facilities since we knew what to expect and wanted to check on what exactly was offered at this location. Fave room was 황토 bead room where you can literally dig your hands into the Hwangto beads for dry heat healing. There are individual rooms for sleeping and the traditional all naked baths separated by gender. If you’re coming for the first time, please read up on the Korean etiquette for a sauna like this. Lower hushed tones and volume, and if you’re in doubt, ask :) the food is overpriced. Use the facilities and then go to Katy Asian town to eat. There is plenty of parking in the front lot and around back.

I’ve been coming for the past 2 years.! Loved it, raved about it, brought friends and family and I typically enjoyed it.! The last 2 times I went were really embarrassing and uncomfortable. But it was the same problem which is why it’s now 1 star ⭐️The bathhouse attendant practically harassed everyone about taking showers. It seemed innocent until multiple guest complained about the repetitive behavior. One girl asked why she’s picking on her and decided to leave the entire facility… the Bathhouse attendant was on FaceTime in the locker room for awhile.Of course those were red flags but those weren’t my experiences previously.Me & a girlfriend was approached about 20min in I replied with a smile “yes I have”. But there were at least 2 more times we were approached within 30min.Then we left the bathhouse and came back 1hour later. We were literally coming out the shower dripping wet walking into the bathhouse. & the lady comes out rushing to us to ask if we’d taken a shower. We completely ignored her by the 3rd time. She goes away but as I’m relaxing in the pool eyes closed, completely at peace.! she starts yelling “hello” in my ear waving her wet hands which is splashing water in my face. Now let’s be honest the room is quiet and there’s only me and my friend in the pools, others are in the locker room.. Imagine someone yelling and flinging water while you’re naked. Asking once again if you have showered before getting in the pool. So embarrassing and insulting…I was ready to go.! & I did.!!Before I left 2 staff members came to ask why I splashed water on the staff member. 🙄 so dramatic. I had to explain I didn’t intentionally splash I was startled and jumped because she was leaning over while yelling in my ear and if she wasn’t so close there’s no way water could’ve gotten on her.She shouldn’t be allowed to approach guest so close especially since WE ARE NAKED IN THE POOL. Above all be observant before approaching guest.!I found another spa called Gangnam Spa. I will be canceling my additional tickets. & trying them out hopefully they will be more observant and respectful of the guest space. & yes I went through this twice. I understand the rules and follow them with no problem. I come to relax and get away, this behavior from staff is unacceptable.!

Not worth $170 plus expected tip plus tax plus admission fee.Place dirty, loud, noisy. People on the phones and computers in saunas. Talking loudly . Temperature is not hot in saunas and arctic room about to melt from “ cold” ...Overcrowded, dirty, outdated , overpriced.Bad experience. In one year it went down .And they not allowing wear flip flops? ..Place like that welcoming any bacteria’s and skin diseases. The administrative staff at Spa World are unprofessional, and their pricing policy is highly unreasonable. We took three children to Kids World to play, and during check-in, they only asked for the childrens ages without explaining the pricing policy. We assumed that as long as the kids didnt stay exceed two hours as it states on their website, it would be fine. Children under five were to be supervised by us, while the staff initially promised to watch over children aged five and above but were absent for long periods. After playing for 1 hour and 40 minutes, the children became tired and hungry, so we left Kids World. There were no staff inside at the time, and the doors were open for anyone to enter and play without payment. We went to the second floor, had lunch, and returned to check out on the first floor. We were told that each of the three children would be charged for over three hours because we didnt check out the kids earlier. One staff member claimed it was possible to check out at Kids World, while another said only the spa reception could check out kids. Despite the children not using the spa facilities or services, we were overcharged $27 USD (tax not included) after paying the regular child ticket prices. The receipt stated that for every hour over two hours, an additional $1.5 USD would be charged, but in practice, it was charged for every additional 10 minutes. Even the printed text on the receipt contained errors. We were perplexed and asked for an explanation at the front desk. The staff impatiently and illogically stated, This is the policy; everybody knows it. We then requested to speak with the manager, who said she would call Denise, the Kids World staff member. However, after the call, the manager informed us that Denise was not at her station, had gone to the office, and wouldnt be available until 5:00 PM, despite it being only 2:30 PM. When questioned about the long break, the manager was vague, claiming Denise had matters to attend to in the office and would call back within an hour.At 5:05PM, when Denise failed to call us, we dialed Spa World again. Without introducing ourselves, we requested to be transferred to Denise. However, after a brief pause, the front desk informed us that Denise was in a meeting and about to leave for the day, promising that she would call us back later. I asked, Do you have my number? The reply was, Yes.After waiting for a while, Denise finally called. She repeatedly asserted that the charges were in line with their policy and were non-refundable. We informed her of our intention to leave a negative review online to expose this unfair pricing practice, to which Denise simply replied, Okay.Weve been to many childrens playgrounds, but none have been as poorly managed, unprofessional in communication, and overcharged as Spa World. Their ticket prices are already expensive, and the food inside is obviously marked up. To excessively charge even within Kids World is unacceptable. Dishonest business practices!

I love this place and used to come 1x/week on a weekday before i got busy with the school year. however, i went this past saturday with my best friend for my birthday and our experience was not pleasant.the food has always been mediocre, but because of all the other wonderful amenities, i used to ignore it and accept that no place is perfect. this past saturday, i ordered $16 spicy pork ramyun for my meal. i noticed they updated the menu and the picture on the menu looked delicious. to my surprise, the ramyun i was served was instant ramyun. it was obvious that they used instant ramyun and doctored it up with some tiny pork bits, an egg, and some veggies. for almost $20, i expected fresh noodles and an original broth. but instead, i was given soggy, instant noodles and a powder + water broth. if i wanted instant ramyun on my birthday, i would’ve stayed home. futhermore, i felt so bloated afterwards and couldn’t fully enjoy the rest of my stay because i was served cheap, salty, instant ramyun.because it was my birthday, my best friend and i booked a couples massage. it was very expensive, so we expected exceptional service. the massage was given in a tiny, dark room. the room completely lacked a sense of relaxing atmosphere as well as aromatherapy. i’ve had many massages in my life so details matter to me- especially if i’m paying a lot of money. the 2 ladies who gave the massages were inadequate. i am a masseuse and occupational therapy doctoral student so i was very disappointed when i asked for deep tissue and the technique was subpar. the technique was rushed and sloppy instead of slow, rhythmic movements of deep pressure. my friends massage was even worse. my friend also requested deep tissue but the lady must’ve thought my friend was asleep because all she did were light squeezes and some slapping?? she didn’t position my friend correctly so pressure was inappropriately applied to the wrong parts of her body and resulted in more pain than relaxation. my friend’s massage lady also lazily sat down on the massage table while she was massaging which caused my friend to have to move over and almost fall off the table. after the massage was done, they asked for a tip a stared as down as we decided how much money to give. we hastily tipped way more than we should’ve because we felt so pressured as they hovered over us.i also would like to know what measures Spa World is taking to sanitize the facilites. There was a big group of couples wandering around and the men consistently sneezed all over the different saunas without covering their faces. It’s been 2 days since, and I am having cold symptoms.Kids are also supposed to have their own area so the spa can remain adults only, but on several occasions, I witnessed kids walking around unsupervised.I would also appreciate more signage explicitly stating that people are expected to wash themselves at the shower stations and tie up their hair before using the public baths. I witnessed far too many people get in the public baths without washing themselves first, which is extremely unsanitary. There was also lots of hair in the baths.Like i said before, I used to love this place and will continue to go but ONLY in the morning on a weekday due to sanitary reasons. I will also not eat here again or reserve any additional service.

I am only going to rate the restaurant. I didnt use anything else in the facility. The food was good. I think there is better food available in the international district, Bellaire area. We had pretty typical Korean fare and everything was good. The process to get into the restaurant was a bit difficult. If you go, enter at the back towards the upstairs bar and you should be fine from there.

This was my first time at Spa World and I was looking forward to a relaxing Christmas day here. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly.Overall, I thought the facility was nice and clean. However, I wouldve preferred to be able to wear slippers or something in the bathroom instead of going barefoot. There are signs posted on all of the rooms asking for people to be quiet. However, those signs were largely ignored by a lot of the spa-goers. One woman pulled out her cell phone in the Himalayan salt room and proceeded to have a full-blown, loud conversation. It didnt seem that the quietness was enforced.I also decided to have some lunch at the Korean restaurant upstairs. However, the ramen was very mediocre and was too salty.

Great experience! Ive been wanting to go to a place like this for years and finally stopped in. The place is really clean, theres visible signage that says where everything is, what is what, and so on. It was very relaxing in the saunas and most of the guests respected the quiet zone signs. I unfortunately wasnt able to use the infrared room (I was super bummed about this!) because the large half of the room did not have the red lights on and there were not any staff members around upstairs outside of the one person in the cafe to ask for help in addressing this. Otherwise, nice, relaxing experience.

There’s no exceptions when it comes to being nude. You have to be nude in the bathing area. If you’re transgender or apart of LGBTQ and don’t feel comfortable with it I suggest you look elsewhere because when I checked they don’t provide any accommodations or make it inclusive to everyone. I was told to either use the bathing area or not. Since I know, I will not be going there. If I had clothing, it would’ve felt better.

I used to love coming to this spa, and unfortunately, can no longer recommend it. They’ve imposed a clear bag policy and will not allow you to put a large purse or computer bags in your locker where they would be safe. They do not explicitly disclose this on their website, forcing guests to either buy a cheaply made highly breakable plastic bag from them, leave all of your things car where they are susceptible to theft, or leave them unsecured at the front desk where there is an undisclosed amount of foot traffic of guests and employees where your things may also be susceptible to theft. A pencil broke the plastic bag I bought almost immediately. I typically spend 3+ hours here and like to bring my computer and text books to work between services, like many others. This is a huge, blindsiding inconvenience. I asked if they could simply check my bag so that I wouldn’t have to carry all my possessions in my hands, risk breaking the plastic bag I was forced to buy, or leave my things where they’d more susceptible to theft. They refused and when I asked to speak with a manager, the manager was inflexible, unwilling to accommodate my concerns, or provide an explanation. The service and experience has considerably declined and I no longer feel Spa World cares for its patrons and clients as much as it did in years past.

**5 Stars - Incredible Spa Experience at Spa World!**I recently had the most amazing experience at Spa World, and I cant wait to share my positive review. This was my first time at Spa World, although I had tried a Korean scrub before. I made an appointment online, and I was impressed by the extensive availability and the user-friendly booking process.Upon arriving, about an hour before my appointment, the check-in process was straightforward. You grab a key for your shoes, hand it to the front desk, and they charge you the admission fee. Pro tip: You can save $5 with a Groupon deal or opt for a 10-pack at $30 each. You receive a wristband for food purchases and appointment timing.I started with a relaxing soak in the hot tub for about 30 minutes before experiencing the best scrub of my life. The results were incredible – my skin felt soft and moisturized. It was a solid 10 out of 10 experience. Following the scrub, I enjoyed the cycle of hot tub, cold plunge, wet sauna, and dry sauna, leaving me in a state of pure relaxation.Exploring the co-ed area, I tried various rooms, including the clay room, jade room, cold room, fire room, and salt room. While each had its charm, I preferred the womens spa experience with its hot tubs and saunas. For lunch, I opted for the spicy seafood noodle, which was decent, though I plan to try something else next time. I also indulged in a glass of prosecco, and while the cheaper option wasnt my favorite, having multiple price points was a plus. Afterward, I enjoyed a nap on the comfortable recliners upstairs – I didnt want to leave! In total, I spent five fantastic hours at Spa World and will undoubtedly be back soon. The combination of exceptional services, diverse facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere make it a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The place is great, I enjoyed the hot bath and steam room, I loved the korean body scrub. The dry hot rooms were fun but can get crowded. If I had stopped there, I would give this place 5 star what killed it is the message ( Do not get message save your money and time). The message is about #s and tip, Ida rushed me in before my time and rushed me out before my 60-minute I paid. The message was the worst I ever had ..I didnt even get foot messages if I can give it - star I would.

I was recommended by a friend to visit this place. The facility was very short staffed which was disappointing. I didn’t feel welcomed I was just ordered what to do. For this one visit I was not able to use any of the other quiet rooms because I didn’t know where anything was - you would think they would give you a tour or something. Basically I had to wonder off and figure everything off myself. Any business that has poor customer service will never gain any stars. The food was great I kept asking the registrar girl what everything was and she wasn’t able to tell me. Like I said customer service comes first. Very dossapinted .

This establishment offers an impressive range of facilities, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and entertainment.Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the screen golf area, where I had a fantastic time playing virtual golf with friends. The private movie theaters and karaoke rooms provided the perfect setting for entertainment and socializing. One of the highlights of Spa World is the spacious lounge area, which features multiple sauna rooms with different themes. The cleanliness of the environment truly stood out to me. The staff made sure everything was well-maintained, creating a refreshing and hygienic atmosphere. It enhanced the overall experience, allowing me to fully unwind and rejuvenate.Additionally, the dining area offered a diverse menu of delicious meals and snacks. It was convenient to grab a bite to eat without leaving the premises. The attentive staff provided excellent service, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable. For families, Spa World boasts a huge kids cafe, where children can engage in various activities while parents relax. The dedicated space for children adds an extra element of convenience and makes Spa World a great destination for families.Overall, my visit to Spa World was a memorable one. The array of amenities, from the screen golf area and private movie theaters to the karaoke rooms and sauna lounge, catered to a wide range of interests. I had the hardest time relaxing in the saunas with all the kids screaming next door. Love kids but it was just too much. A lot of the saunas are very cool, like the one with the tiny clay balls and jade, but there were others that weren’t hot, so it felt like being in a regular room. This place was really nice in everyway. The only major item they missed was some plastic lounge chairs in the whirlpool/spa area like most spas and gyms have. Most of us have our routine, to go in one whirlpool, then another, rest about 5 minutes and repeat the process. So I felt funny just standing there for 5-10 minutes, before I repeated my routine. Also the guy that watches the locker room, his desk should be closer to the spa/whirlpool room so he could supervise both, as I saw one guy get in whirlpool with clothes on. Employee in whirlpool area spoke Spanish which helped out my friend. You just show up with your regular clothes on because they provide any clothing for the co-ed areas, so you have to bring any sort of gym bag or bathing suite. Its all provided by them. Will return to this nice place. FOLLOW UP: Me and wife revisited this place since we had such a pleasant experience last time. You do have to be nude & naked in whirlpool and sauna areas, as with many other Koreans spas, its just customary in the old country, and taking off shoes before you even check in. So therefore you get a unique Korean experience. After about 5 minutes, you get used to being nude and naked, because everybody is also with no clothes and so the different whirlpools (5 of them) so you can now enjoy them.So you are no longer worried or scared about nude or naked, so no more problem. Employee in locker room and whirlpool areas keeps eye on everything and walks around, so I felt safe and security. Wife had nice massage and reporting the same excellent service on the womans side of the business. Recommended for all people this spa, very orderly, clean, and nice with no problems never

Check in at the front desk was not great. The young woman working there didnt seem like she wanted to be there. Despite knowing it was our first time there, we got no explanation of what to expect and there was a mixup with our passes. Not only that, but she was bordering on rude and condescending. This got my experience off to not a great start. This alone will make me reconsider visiting again. The spa rooms were okay. Nothing exciting or unique. Same with the pools. There was a small bug in my food at the cafeteria. The highlight was the body scrub. The ladies do a good job, though it is awkward when they stand in front of you as youre deciding what to tip on the computer screen. Overall, not worth the hundreds of dollars spent here.

Today marked my FIRST and LAST visit to Spa World Houston. My sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, 15-month-old grandson, and I visited on a slow Monday afternoon. My grandson was the only child in Kid’s World for a couple of hours, and there were only a few guests in the spa. The front desk informed us that there always had to be someone with my grandson in Kids World at all times. This seemed like a reasonable request, so we took turns and alternated, allowing us to enjoy the $110 Korean body scrub while properly supervising my grandson. We spent over +$400 on services at Spa World, but what left a bitter taste was the rude behavior of the Asian male store manager (Chinese). He abruptly confronted us when we attempted to walk with my grandson to the dining area upstairs. He informed us that children were not permitted in the locker room, couldnt be in the spa area, and couldnt use the main stairs. However, kids are only allowed at Kids World & dining upstairs; however, he instructed us to use a separate set of stairs, even though the main lobby stairs were just two feet away. We received no prior notifications of their child policy; there’s no waiver forms and no displayed signs at the front entrance or the door connecting the Kid’s zone and the Spa. The managers attitude was poor, and he showed no welcoming demeanor toward children. Furthermore, he followed us upstairs and continued to watch our every move, making us extremely uncomfortable. He even invaded my personal space to rudely request my Spa ID number. He stated that he intended to reprimand the workers who had initially allowed us in.That pissed me off even more, because this isn’t a worker problem; it’s a management problem. It’s very upsetting to know that the manager is going to berate their employees. That does not solve the issue at hand.Fortunately, the first-floor manager approached me and apologized on his behalf. We both agreed that the male managers approach and tone were completely uncalled for.

I am giving one star based on todays experience only. I have been visiting Spa World consistently for over two years. I enjoy the facilities, the food is good, and its a nice place to relax. However, today that relaxation was abruptly interrupted when my friend and I were asked to take our water out of the wet area. Very confused by this as Ive been taking my refillable water every single time, I asked why and she said it was a policy. I have never heard of this and there is nothing posted.I ignored her and went about my business. Another lady who said she was a floor manager proceeds to come find us and rudely states that we need to remove our water, its not allowed but could not explain why, just because. This conversation went on and got escalated for a bit and another manager came in whom herself couldnt find this supposed policy on the door. She was followed by yet another manager. The bottom line is that apparently someone brought liquor in a bottle recently and ruined it for everyone. The two polite managers explained that we could have water in all other areas, just not the wet area. Okay, I can agree to that if there is no option. The problem is that the information was not relayed properly from the first manager who said we could not have it period. She was rude, unprofessional and has zero clue what she was talking about, just wanted to continue to argue with us and said if we need water we shouldnt be sitting in saunas!! Are you serious?!! In two years I have seen towel privileges revoked, no more scrub towels, and now we cant have water!! Ridiculous really..

Mommy took good care of me at the restaurant! They did up the prices and enforced a clear bag policy which they did not use to have. Plus they were very intrusive in the bath area and it felt like they were watching my friend and I the whole time. Which is odd considering I’ve been going here for years. I’m not sure why this one staff member took it upon herself to be super intrusive in the bathing area. I felt like she was cleaning empty lockers and lingering around just so she can keep an eye on me. for what I don’t know but it was super rude so i docked a star.Other than that I Very much like the aesthetics and the layout. they have plenty of rooms to meditate or lounge in. The food and the restaurant is amazing quality. Very generous portions. The service in the restaurant is equally amazing very attentive service.Pro tips: take your own towel, water bottles, socks, and any bath items (face, masks, foot and hair masks, ect) to use while at the spa. After I bathe i usually take my bathing bag and put them back in my car as the locker is a little bit cramped. They also have virtual golf, karaoke, massage, additional spa services for additional fees. Be warned the prices have gone up so call in advance to check prices. They have an upstairs bar as well and an outside patio area. If you need to decompress or hang out with a bunch of friends and relax, this is where to go. Very clean environment.I would go more often, if it weren’t for all the new policies that they are rolling out. If it’s too cumbersome to adhere to your policies, then it’s not worth going. I’m trying to relax and have fun on a budget. If they eventually stop allowing you to bring in your own bath items i will stop going here.

This was my first experience at a spa & I had a wonderfully relaxing time. It was $40 I believe & that gave you access to the bathhouse & the saunas. There are so many options at the bathhouse & the saunas. There was no time limit either. You could add on facials or massages for an extra charge. There was a snack bar too. Very clean place as well. Cant wait 2 go again. Full disclosure, in order to enjoy the bathhouse you have to be naked. Dont worry though its women only in there. Saunas were coed & the uniform they provided was worn in those common areas.

I absolutely love this spa!!! Ive been to a couple of spas in the Houston area. This one is my favorite. Ive taken and friend, she loved it. I most recently took my daughter for her first spa treatment. Whatever you do, do not skip on the Korean bath scrub!!!!! Omg!!! I felt so amazing afterward! Your skin will thank you!!! We spent over 6 hours there. Just enjoy relaxing and going to all the rooms. They have a snack bar, a restaurant, and a bar! So no need to leave until you are ready or they kick you out lol. There are little areas to nap too if needed!

Spa World is a beautiful facility with a very unique experience that transports you to the spas you would visit in Korea. Every room gives you different health benefits and really allows you to relax and soak it all in. There is also a theater room where you can catch a screening, and plenty of resting areas all around on both floors. If you’re looking for the full experience, check out the baths and get your scrub on!There are other activities available for an additional cost such as screen golf and many options for massages and scrubs. If you’re looking to make it a family day with the kiddos, there is an entire space and play area.Be sure to make your way to the food court upstairs that provides a great selection of some staple Korean dishes, the bar, or the cafe and snack bar station downstairs. One of my must haves when I visit Spa World is the sikhye (sweet Korean rice drink) and baked eggs!I must also mention the beautiful and spacious rooftop terrace that’s a great space to catch some sun and fresh air or to host an event. There are conference/meeting rooms available if you want to host a meeting or use for an all day planning retreat like I did with my group. There’s an additional cost to this, but very affordable and you have a one stop shop for everything you need. Meeting space, food, drinks, activities, and healing!Management is very friendly and provides a professional experience all around. I highly recommend you try Spa World soon and share the experience!

It is my first time visiting Spa World and WOW it’s fantastic! I’ve been to other Korean Spa like King Spa in Chicago (same owner as the one in Dallas) and they are amazing so I had high expectations. Spa World did not disappoint! They have a lot of different sauna rooms and amenities. My mom and I always enjoy a body scrub at Korean spa so we made sure to book an appointment as soon as we arrive. We got the scrub & deluxe for $140 and it comes with 80 minutes of full body scrub, full body massage with organic coconut oil, a facial and collagen facial mask, a warm milk rinse, shampoo, and conditioning! You really get bang for your buck. The lady that did the service was so cute she greeted me with a big smile, held my hand, and led me to the scrub area lol I read a lot of reviews saying that the massages are mediocre and feel like they’re just rubbing on you but I totally disagree. The lady that massaged me definitely gave me a deep tissue massage and I really wanted to scream a couple times because she was going in on the knots in my body (in a good way lol). The customer service I received was great as well. The front desk explained the check in process and the massage service booking lady even wished me a happy birthday when I provided my dob for reservation. I feel like new customers just need to be familiarized with how Korean spa works and be understanding that the Korean ladies don’t have the best English so they may come across as straightforward. I’ll definitely come again, bring my husband, and try more sauna rooms and the food.

I told the rude manager that I was very unhappy and she told me they had 2000 happy customers. You need to make it clear when making reservations that an additional spa service fee is required. I paid $300 for a reservation only to be told that I had to pay an additional $98 admission fee, even though I didnt want to you use their other services. In those 2000 happy customers that the manager claimed to have had, many of those are my friends, and my friends friends. They wanted to give me a coupon for next visit. One woman agreed to give me 50% off but the other younger manager agreed to refund my $300 and not charge cancellation fee. Ruined my first wedding anniversary weekend. I, nor my friends, will not be returning here.

Wonderful time. Just moved here. Been looking for good places to help with my back injury. But places were often sketchy, or unprofessional, etc... and I do not have time to deal with that. This place made me feel wonderful, and welcome. Has just about everything you need. Great list of rooms. People are nice. Food was good. I love this Korean Spa, and will be returning OFTEN. I am only five minutes away. Only thing I would love to see, is and oxygen room I could meditate in! Thank you so much!

I spent the day there with my family and we all signed up for treatments. I spent $110 on a reflexology and was not impressed. It was a foot rub. She didn’t touch my toes once and wore latex gloves the whole time. I’m sure she was just thrown onto the massage because it was a busy day but for that much money I should have been wowed just a bit. When checking out she was asking for a tip and she gave herself 5 stars and didn’t wait for me to decide. This spa is ok. I’m not going to rush back but I’m picky and thought the whole experience was average and it cost a lot of $$$$$

Ive never been so humiliated in my life. Today, I went to enjoy my day off and also do some homework in a stress free environment. I spent 15 min in the heated and cold baths before a manager asked me and another guy to leave because a guest claimed that I had done inappropriate behavior with another man there. After talking to the manager for 15 minutes, it wasnt going anywhere even though I asked for proof because Ive never in my life done that at Spa World. They offered to refund me and ban me from Spa World OR not refund me and give me a warning. I felt so uncomfortable that they wouldnt even ask other guests whether the claims were true and I was not about to leave without a refund. Plus, whos to say that someone else in the future would make another false claim anyway.

This place is amazing, so many rooms to try. Neat little bar upstairs next to the restaurant with delicious Korean food. Baths feel terrific but just a heads up for anyone who isnt used to it - they are nude baths only (gender separated) like most Korean or Japanese bathhouses. All in all it is an awesome value for how much there is to do here. Definitely recommend trying at least once.

I went for my first time with my sisters, today for our birthdays, first it was an excellent experience but it ended off bad, admission was worth the price, the pools were nice. All the rooms were relaxing and the food was so good so I wanted to end off my night with a special treatment, and my back was hurting so I got the Swedish massage for 60 minutes at 8:15, thinking, I would have the best 60 minute massage for$130 with taxes the lady said but when I went in, I laid down for at least 10 minutes before my massage started it doesn’t even take a minute to get undressed and then for another good 15 minutes she just rubbed my back with the blanket on it, I don’t think she was a licensed massage therapist, she only used one hand and forearm, I could’ve gotten a better massage from my boyfriend, she didn’t even do the whole 60 minutes when I looked at the clocked so I waited for her to come back, but then she told me I was done i thought maybe the clock was wrong but then it was 9:04 when I checked on the iPad so instead of complaining when she asked for a tip, I told her I was not happy and didn’t want to tip. She asked why and when I told her she got mad gave herself five stars and just walked off, I thought that was very rude and I was too shy to say anything but when I told my sisters because they also know what time I came in and out they complained to the manager I’m glad they gave me 50% off but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be coming for another massage, my usual, massage lady gives me full 90 minutes for $85 plus I tip her $50 because of how she really puts effort into her work, I love spoiling myself so if I’m satisfied with the service I get I will spoil you too. Other than that lady and the lady running the cafeteria downstairs the staff was lovely.

The concept of this place is amazing. The different rooms are worth the admission price. I went because I wanted a Swedish massage. I don’t believe I was massaged by a licensed massage therapist…more like a rub down specialist. She was rubbing very fast and using her forearm and elbows even on my bones (ouch). It was quite painful about 80% of the massage. When I said “light pressure”, she adjusted the pressure for about a cool minute before becoming aggressive. There was no real concentration on determining where my problem areas were…just rapid rubbing. Rapid rubbing gets hot too! At one point, she straddled my back to “massage” my back! Never have I ever! So I couldn’t really enjoy it because it was just too much going on. My back and shoulder blades were sore for about two days afterwards. First time I ever paid to get beat up! Other than that, everything else was amazing. I just wish I had known to either request a real licensed massage therapist or just not get one at all.

There is food and drinks to perches there. We got a all day pass so you could truly make a full day of it. Go upstairs play golf, take a nap, drop the kids in the playground areas and relax. They have more. But this is what I will be telling others about.

The most inclusive and welcoming spa! Its such a relaxing environment, family friendly, and they boast a variety of different activities. Karaoke rooms, golfing, and a movie theater. My favorite service is the Milk & Honey scrub in the womens locker room. Ive been coming once or twice an month for almost two years and every time I come I notice a change: updated spa mirrors, more seasonal flowers, and menu updates. Having been to spas in Korea, the diversity and use of space coupled with the client inclusivity of Spa World Houston make it a delight to come everytime.

My spouse and I went yesterday after hearing about a weird spa from a weird friend. There was nothing weird about it. It was an entire day of relaxation and pampering. The price was right as there are a number of different rooms and spa experiences included in the price. The day entrance also offers 25% off for veterans and first responders. They have a restaurant and a bar on the second floor with a terrace as well. Kim at the restaurant was not only pleasant but funny as well. We did enjoy her. I reluctantly did a 30 minute scrub at the insistence of my wife and I loved it. Not only did it exfoliate my skin but it also worked as getting my bowels moving healthy with the rubbing and massaging of my belly. We had a couple massage and it was great. The only weird part is that they asked me to wear underwear which in my opinion interferes with the gluts which house the sciatic nerve. Next time Ill bring a thong, lol. Well be coming back for sure.

I really did enjoy the feeling of the Spa as a whole, but the Bathhouse is what ruined the whole experience the last time I visited. The first I went I was told that there was a cold plunge on site and then after I already bought a ticket and drove 40 mins to the location… it was broken. The second time I came almost 2 weeks later…again the cold plunge was broken. I was still able to enjoy the rooms and the food at the spa, but what REALLY ruined the entire experience for me was the male employee sitting in the male bath house section. Every time I entered the locker room we was consistently staring at me, making me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and decided his limited English vocabulary always found ways to tell me what to do in a rude tone as if I was being micro managed by him. At a point he rude gestured me out to where I am aloud to brush my teeth, telling me where I am allowed to put lotion on my body and went as far to make search and show him my bag as if I was being search by the police. Never have I had such a hostile experience at any bathhouse or Spa for that matter I really hope this get’s addressed. The front desk reception and the upstairs cafeteria lady were extremely friendly! Unfortunately when I asked the down stairs cafeteria when they close she said at 9 and when I came back there at 8:50 she said she can’t make the smoothie I was looking forward to all day because they “closed at 9 ALL READY”. Then after I informed her it isn’t nine she game me a very mean look and said fine. Needless to say I said it was okay fearing my drink might be tampered with out of anger as I have seen it plenty of time working in the service industry. Them when I wanted to partially watch a movie up stair an hour before they close, no knew how to put on the movie, because the lady at the “kitchen already left”. Again I like the place and I am sure it could be wonderful, but definitely things that need to be addressed especially when your businesses employees create a hostile environment for the customer.

DONT DO IT!! My friends and I went to this establishment for the first time. They scan your ID, for some odd reason, to register you. Then you can’t wear shoes, but I see no one cleaning the floors. If you don’t get completely nude you won’t have access to any water amenities. They have baby towels limit you to two, and charge extra for full body towels. The clay room had literally hairs from someone’s head in the pit, that stuck to me while I was in the pit, so I know it’s not cleaned effectively. They advertise a first responder discount, but does NOT include nurses or Doctors. They closed 2 hours early because it started raining !! It’s Houston it always rains!! Save your money, and time !!Response to Spa World:Again this is my review based on my experience. On 8/25 your facility closed at 8pm, which is 2 hours earlier than your listed closure time. During my visit there were BLACK LONG HAIRS in your clay ball room. I am not sure your cleaning process but it was not cleaned during my visit. I did not see anyone cleaning floors during my visit, rather they were collecting used garments and towels. Again I can only speak on my expirence not anyone else’s.

I hate that they were scheduled so close together. But the massage was ok. Probably the lowest on my list. But the overall experience and amenities get 5 stars!

Hear me out! This place is awesome with the spa rooms! Great TV room, good temperature levels in the Arctic room and the Jade room and etc. I always came here like, around a year and a half ago. But, around May, new staff came in, and they weren’t the nicest people. They had attitudes with my son, and when I talked to them about food, they would change their attitude and start acting nice. It was unbelievable! I also have to say the prices are extremely higher than last year, and they weren’t as cheap. Now, my eight-year-old twins can’t even enjoy the Jade room as they have to be forced to a playground. My twins used to always go to the rooms and also play in the playground. Now, they are not allowed to go anywhere or eat anywhere besides the playground (dinner however is upstairs)!. Here is the funny thing about this. Let’s say that they were about to eat dinner. Well, that would take them let’s say an hour because they are kids. They will keep charging you money for “being” inside the playground. Like, 3 months ago, they would pause your time and give one free hour for a child. Now, they play so cheap that they will do anything for money. And, we have to pay 30$ for each child plus another 20$ for each child inside the playground. Listen, I loved this place before, but now, you guys changed so much, I can’t even comprehend this!

I would make sure you really look into this place before you go. I went with a group of people and we were all disappointed. We checked in and changed then walked around trying to find something to do but everything we wanted to do that we saw online was an extra charge. We wanted to go to the spa pools but you had to be completely naked to go. We were not informed of that. It just turned into something completely different than what we thought. We were there for about 40 minutes just walking around trying to figure out where to go. We went to checkout to explain that this is not what we thought it was and that we were unhappy and that we would like our money back. We were told there’s nothing they can do.I would really look into it before you spend the money to even get in.

So excited to finally go to a Korean Spa since moving to Houston.I opt in for the Goddess Service as well-- Lina was amazing and super friendly.I didnt like that the wet saunas didnt have railings to hold on to when getting in and out so it was pretty scary for me. I wished they had papers in the suggestion boxes so I could write that 😅Its almost not accessible alone and I was afraid to fall. The facilitys super clean and we really enjoyed the Ocher Ball Room. It seems like Quiet Zone rules arent really reinforced as some girls were laughing and speaking super loudly like they were at a club.Im also not a big fan of the shampoo conditioner situation in the womens shower area. Its just plain generic aloe type... There werent even body wash and was just shampoo and conditioner...I would love to see a better scent and a better quality formula. All of the employees are super attentive and nice. Despite the complaints I really enjoyed my time here and will come back for sure.
