The Office Bar

This bar is not worth the stop. The floors are so sticky that you can barely lift your feet off the floor. Also they have a dress code for men ,but you will watch them switch up the rules as you wait in line. Also the dress code is not posted on the outside of bar. The staff are all intoxicated. Which wouldn’t be a problem if they were not so aggressive. I would not go to this bar alone as a women. Just was not a welcoming feeling at all. There are much better bars further down the strip.

I don’t know if anyone else has had a terrible experience with the office downtown , but let me tell y’all right now. I will NEVER be going to the office anymore or downtown PERIOD anymore. Sooooo tell me why, me and my Besty Tori Williams went to the office lastnight right? We got our wristbands , went to the restroom to pee maybeeee like 5 minutes no longer. Get out the bathroom go buy each a drink ($10) mind you is what it costed for both our drinks. We take our drinks and go sit in a booth. Not even 5 sips into our drink , and maybe 10 minutes sitting down 2 bouncers decide to walk up to us and say “y’all need to get tf up now and get out.” We’re trying to ask him what did we do what happened … they proceed to tell us they will let us know when we get outside. Tell me why we get outside they rip our wristbands off and said “the reason y’all being thrown out is we got word y’all were selling cocaine in the bathroom.” When I tell y’all my JAW DROPPED I absolutely mean it. Mind you I never even seen cocaine in person! I don’t do drugs, don’t smoke weed nothing, just smoke vapes and drink occasionally. After that a cop comes up to me and proceeds to search me & my keys, because I had a fluffy heart MY NIECE gave to me! When I tell y’all we felt sooooo violated and embarrassed like omg!!! And not to mention both lost $10, because they made us keep our drinks on the table, and we hadn’t even drank half of it.

Ok I only go on Wednesdays “where they don’t gaf” but got denied because of my sweats that I wore 3 weeks ago, the guy at the door asked me “ where’s your belt” I said “ don’t have one these are sweats 😐 can’t wear a belt with sweats” I just turned around and left because I didn’t want to get mad to the point the cops started looking so I just went to a place where I can wear I want, where the music is great and just good overall, I will not go there if that guy is there 👎🏾

Racial profiling. Wouldn’t let a black man in because he didn’t have a belt. Didn’t ask his white friend if he was wearing one. He wasn’t sagging

This is my favorite bar downtown. Love the bartenders. They are quick and will be more than happy to have a conversation with you if they arent busy. The drinks are reasonably priced and there is almost never a cover at the door. It is an 18+ but they have a nice crowd, both in size and in the type of people that go there. People dont go there to start trouble, they just want a good time.

Weird bouncer. Let the first 2 in our group through then the third person in our group was denied because he was not wearing a belt despite having the same attire otherwise.

Waited in a long line for over charged cover, there was no band.Once I got to the door they said I couldn’t come in because I had a jersey on. Yet a guy there had one on. The bouncers excuse was he knew the owner. When I asked to see said owner or manager I wasn’t aloud to.Then my pants were a problem because there was a hole in it.This said bar is terrible with no acknowledgement to the public. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Supposedly you cant re-enter without a wristband but the bouncers were just letting in whoever they wanted at their discretion. Didnt close the line down when they were at full capacity. If you didnt know the people at the door you werent getting in. Very poorly handled.

I liked it because, I had a chance to go hang out with my daughter and her friends. Personally its not my age group. I really enjoyed being together and the fact they wanted me in their presence. I would absolutely go back with them if they wanted me to go. Oh one thing, maybe its because I havent been out in a club in a while, seriously the drinks are OUTRAGEOUS!!

Good music . Drinks are kinda pricey but they are very good. You will spend $5 to get in , but you can stay all night until close at 2am. Mostly booty shaken music , but every now And then theres a live band. Best bar downtown for sure. Will be back shortly!!!

Visiting for work from California and I was refused entry because I wasn’t wearing a belt. The have a dress code that seems designed to target African Americans.

Racist. They will either tell you your pants are to baggy, you cannot have tennis shoes, you cannot have a red shirt, etc. They show their racism. They will allow 1 or 2 black ppl, but anymore than that is very unlikely. Heads up to black ppl, this is not where you should spend your money.

Worst club downtown. Do not recommend

Waited in line and was told I cannot enter because of a couple holes in my jeans. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, not a welcoming environment whatsoever.

Went for country night because they had a mechanical bull. Whoever was operating the bull is super scummy. All my friends I was with got to ride the bull for free without any issue but they attempted to charge me $5 to ride the bull. Why me and not the rest of my group? Completely ruined my night and we left right after.

The music and atmosphere was amazing when I come back to Lafayette am definitely gonna go back ❤️❤️

The Office is my favorite bar to go to! The staff have good customer service and the drinks are really good!

The worst bar/club on Jefferson Street. Run by kids who have zero regard for public safety.

Fran is the best bartender ever. And the Josh, the manager, will make you feel at home
