Kudos to the breakfast cook! Great tip from the bartender: “ask for the biscuits grilled.” Perfect breakfast at the bar. Biscuits & Gravy and Western Omelette. Awesome.

Good prices, delicious food & friendly service. Slower service when they’re busy but that’s to be expected. Free live music every weekend. Haven’t disliked anything I’ve ordered from here, but the stuffed grilled cheeses and the loin strips are by far my favorite. 🤤😋

I hate to do this but i was made too so here it goes. After your little baby fit trying to belittle me and treat me as something less and stupid let me break it down for ya. You chose to lose a customer that alone spent $50 and another customer my friend who spent close to the same amount on their first visit to youre bar tonight. Why is that well it seems the business you run that apparently isnt the best run business. It is more important to you to go on a tirade on the mic because i asked for a refil. Its more important that you save ten cents than show kindness to a customer who spent a fair amount of money at your bar tonight throwing crazy accusations about me costing you your nights profits because its not good business to give a 10 cent refil acting like all i did was buy one drink and expect refils for the entire night. Even though i purchased food, other drinks, and money on various games. Coming out to almost $50. But your response was childish, disgusting, and extremely arrogant. And now you can explain to that very nice server/ bartender why she didnt get that $15 tip i had previously written down on my reciept because you had to throw a hissy fit over the mic to belittle and embarras me me over 1 coke refil. Whoever owns and runs this bar is trash and in one moment you lost well paying and well tipping customers. Thanks for the refil and enjoy that money you made tonight because you wont be getting any from me and my friend anymore. Maybe you should learn how to run a business and not lose a customer that drops a fair amount of cash while you lament over saving 10 cents. My friend and i will never be back to your trash bar

Rachelle was nothing short of amazing! Her service was so fast and smooth its like someone else was doing it! Shed be at the other end of the bar and somehow your drink would get filled! Bartenders skills abound with her! Keep an eye on this rising star! Take the time to see her before she is stolen by the bartender Hall of Fame board!

I cant speak to the atmosphere, but the food, the prices and the service are great. What more could you want? Calling in your order and picking it up is the most cost effective way to eat anywhere. Get out in your neighborhood or end of town and try some things. Places like this will surprise you!

Breakfast was incredible! The rest of the menu looked so appealing that we will be back for that. The staff were just as amazing. I highly recommend the food but keep in mind this is a tavern that allows smoke so you will leave there smelling like a smokey bar. We will just get take out next time. I would give 5 stars but have to back one off for the smoke.

When I want breakfast in afternoon or for dinner I call for carry out. my food has always been hot and right never taken but 10 minutes to make. Going in get food its always friendly people eating drinking never seen any one having problems. for that part of town you wouldnt think Linwood to be as peaceful, comfortable, and always w pleasure.

This place poisons its patrons with toxic tobacco smoke. Fun facts: Nonsmokers exposed to 2nd hand smoke have a 20% higher risk of lung cancer. 2nd hand smoke causes 3,400 lung cancer deaths and 46,000 heart disease deaths in non smokers every year. While the service was nice, drinks were very plain, and nothing about this place is worth the death stench you are covered in when you leave. Completely disgusting. How anyone would order food here without gagging is beyond me. Avoid unless youre a smoky boomer.

I highly recommend the Linwood! The bartenders and staff will always put a smile on your face! They are all wonderful people that truly care about their customers. The owner is also extremely caring, attentive, and present. I always feel welcome and safe at the wood! They have GREAT food and awesome bands on a regular basis. Yes, it is a smoking bar BUT I want to emphasize that the ventilation is great and I have no complaints! I’ve always had a great time at the wood and love making memories there. Another thing I would like to emphasize is that I truly appreciate all that Greg, the Linwood, and their customers do for the community!!! Please support this local business and don’t forget to purchase some WOOD merchandise!

So I won’t knock them for food or service but gave them zero stars for atmosphere because it’s a smoking bar. That rules me out in trying this place. Disappointed in that we want to try new/different places like here but don’t want to smell like an ashtray afterwards.

Jo is the best! Shes on the ball and always does a great job with service. I had the fish and chips appetizer and was amazed at how much I got for $7.95. My daughter loves to eat there so its always at least 3-5 of us and everyone loves the food, no matter what they order. Greg does a good job keeping the menu prices very reasonable for what you get and the place is always clean which is a large part of the reason we keep going back!!!

Super good food, tenderloin was wonderful. Whiskey sour, best in town. Cant get any better than this place for food drinks and friendly people.

Food was good and the waitress was very nice. That was our first time there. Went there Saturday 6-29 was probably the worst service weve ever had in a restaurant/bar. Made reservations for 6 people, got there ordered and four of us got our food the other two people didnt, they had an appetizer ordered with their food. If the waitress would have came back to our table at any point she might have seen that, she had no interest our table at all. It seemed to us that all the drinkers in the bar had full drinks at all times. We were never asked if our food was good, we were forgot about! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the search for chicken was on, my wife had the fish and chips and it was like a rubberband. The menu has changed since the last time, small portions and no taste. Think before you go, plenty of better restaurant/bars in Lafayette.

Pre made store bought frozen burger patties mine was still cold in the middle and full of grease. The fries were soaked in grease. The bun was soggy of course. 13.86 for a nasty greasy undercooked burger and fries. Also the staff was rude wouldnt take my calls claimed to be busy but when I went in only 3 ppl in the bar.

The food was yummy and great prices too! Our server was fantastic! I cant remember her name unfortunately but she was a total sweetheart!!

This is a smoking bar, which unfortunately makes it difficult to breathe and taste food. You wouldnt even know it from the outside. The tobacco odor was so intense, I felt like I was suffocating. The building exterior looks very sketchy & forgettable.The food itself still tasted good, though. I ordered the Bacon Burger & Fries Deal, although the burger felt like it was falling apart in my hands, and the food took 20mins to come out despite not being busy.If this bar is struggling, I hope Jon Taffer comes in & rescues it. Im definitely not coming back until they ban smoking.

The new owners are great people and are so friendly. They ask us about what we like and what wethink of their ideas, it makes you feel really appreciated!! Great place to go!!!

I have been in love this place along time. Their breakfast has never changed. Its always is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is even better. They appreciate me being a faithful loyal customer. They always very welcoming to me.

I had a great time at the Linnwood!! Greg the owner is a fabulous person! I also dined there, and my ribeye hoagie sandwich w/au jus was so so good! The waitstaff is excellent, even with the exceedingly large crowd in attendance. Thank you to Jo, Candace, Kendra, Amber and Erin. You ladies are amazing !

The perfect old school hole in the wall tavern, new management had definitely stepped this place up a notch. And the food. Yes. Highly recommend the breakfast, would not recommend any burger.

Eaten there twice, food delicious, price is GREAT, servers are super friendly, located directly across from Kings Circle LLC..and the Social Lounge. Unbelievable that a place with this great food and service is hidden.

Great Place and Locally owned. Eclectic menu with something for everyone on it. The Linnwood serves Breakfast, Lunch. and Dinner. Has a great atmosphere during all meal times and also offers live music on the weekends with no-cover charge! Whether you are stopping in for a drink, r a bite to eat, or to hang out at one of the many fundraisers they host, the staff and owner are always welcoming. I always have a great time when i stop to visit the Linnwood.

Only downside is no beer on tap(thats why I go out, to get beer a way I cant at home) however, the food is kick ass, the atmosphere is great, and Ill be returning. This is definitely somewhere in my normal rotation, I cant comment on the live music, but looks like youd better get there early if thats why youre going!

I really want to enjoy this bar, as they have great bands. I would love to try the food. It sounds like there have been improvementsover the past year, but I still cant stay in the place as the smoke gets into my clothes, hair, everything. Please go smoke-free.

Great neighborhood bar. It is a smoking bar but the ventilation system they have is nice. Good drink prices, great food, and I always leave with a full belly. Having a band every weekend is awesome too!!

Lynnwood, and old owner, Ed Peachin, Wolfie, and many others had done a poker run in my honor. Im not sure who set the Poker Benefits Run up, but in 2009, few significant issues transpired concerning my health. Great Group of People, who go there, work there or do poker runs there, but it has a different owner. Ed Peachin used I own it, not sure who has it now. Beautiful place! The new owner has done a hell of a job fixing it. The food is great and the booze superb. Also great daily deals check them out on Tuesdays especially.

Hello I just wanted to leave a review about my experience with this place I called the to see how big a portion of nachos they sold and to see if I could get extra toppings on them and the guy that answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE and he also cussed at me for asking how much the charge would be!!!! Not professional at all will never order from them!!!!!

First time here from out of town. Food and service was great and reasonably priced!

The waitress/hostess/bartender was very overwhelmed and we ended up waiting about 20 minutes just to order. Food was great once we got it but the wait time killed the whole experience.

I love coming here...i really like all the bartenders...candace is a lot of fun and makes a great tequila sunrise...laid back and personable place to hang out at during the week...on the weekend they usually have live bands playing, while it does get pretty busy on the weekends its still a chill and good time...i forgot my jacket once and they held it for me and im glad about that haha thanks guys i will definitely be back.

Go in to hear a band and the manager or a bartender asks am I here with someone or am I gonna drink I said Im here with someone she goes whats the point of being in a bar if your not gonna drink she definitely had a bad attitude I will never go back to that bar again
