Alegria Nightclub

Was so pumped for a great night out, but things took a turn at the door. security threw out some unfair remarks and wouldnt let me in, even though i was just sipping on Gatorade to stay sober. felt pretty judged just based on looks, not how i was acting. had my tickets ready and everything, but still got turned away. left with a bad taste in my mouth and a photo that shows I wasnt causing any trouble. not cool.

They cancelled a show on March 30 with no communication, no refund and nothing offered even after I explained I was from out of town. I do not recommend. Still working with my bank to get this resolved, and yes I asked for communication in writing which was never received. I payed over $130 for a service that was never delivered.

They need to be more accommodating to non-drinkers! Designated drivers should drink bottomless soda, to hel prevent drinking and driving. Besides that, the atmosphere was cute.

Im from Austin and decided to check out the place since it was near by our hotel. Horrible service. The music was okay the bartender was very professional and fast. It was a little crowded so we decided to sit at a table outside. We were having a good time ordering drinks, but there was a guy harassing my friends partner he claimed to be the security guy, but the guy was drunk you could smell the alcohol on his breath and could barely stand. We decided to leave and check out another place. We didn’t last an hour there. Do your self a favor and do not go there.

Only good thing here was the music. The location was very crowded and 1 restroom for the whole establishment, that had to be some health hazard I think. Took more than 30min to use the restroom. Impossible to walk around or even dance. There was a horrible garbage smell that was consistent throughout the night, most importantly the prices. 2 super burnt beers for 23$. They were suppose to provide a champagne bottle along with the birthday bottle service package and gave us wine instead.

We arrived at 9 pm and the waitress said... couldnt serve us cause it was already turning into a nightclub...at 9 pm...!!! Had to go to the bar and order .... at 940 they started moving tables for the nightclub... at 10 DJ was playing good dancing music...but couldnt dance cause we had to carry our purses and jackets...no where to put.. no tables or chairs!!!! Drink prices apparently hike up in price during club hours... thats a shame!! Only place to dance was the hall where all the staff is moving tables out!! That was inconvenient... bought another over priced round of drinks ...only to have it knocked out of my hands because of all the passing traffic!!!.. also... one restroom for the entire club!!! Imagine the line for the restroom !! Combine it with the dance hall... half the hall was over taken by restroom line and the other half was the dance floor with all the table traffic!!! ...over all.. good music 👍... bad service... 👎 no dance floor/ hall 👎... over priced drinks 👎... one restroom 👎gets two stars only cause DJ was on fire.🔥... just make your way over to Sevillas ...dont waste your night here trying to dance with your jacket and purse and anything else you might of have with you... cause there is absolutely no place for you to put it while you dance .....shame shame shame.

We celebrated my wifes birthday and had such a nice time. The food was great and sangria was flowing. The Flamenco dancers and Spanish guitarist were great. We will definitely go back. The only thing I would say is the drinks were a little expensive. Fifty five dollars for a pitcher of sangria is a touch high.

I came here for a friend’s birthday on Saturday 02/18 and they had the absolute worst DJ! This man would play a song for not even a minute and would immediately remix it … LIKE LET THE SONG PLAY!!!! He was giving me so much anxiety! Aside from that they charge $15-16 for well rum and coke ?? I’ve been to nicer clubs and they typically charge $9. The place was also incredibly small with no where to sit. Every section to sit is VIP and bar takes up most of the space. It didn’t even feel like a nightclub it was more of a bar with a DJ trying to be a nightclub. Needless to say it was not worth the $21 cover charge.

Deception when given the bill, they double charged for drinks and tips. Our bill should have been around $ 350 and it was $ I000.00 It took us a long time to undo some extra charges but was never cleared nor Itemized. The food is below avarage, the bathrooms are nasty bar-like. Make sure you keep track of Item prices or take a picture of the menu or you end up disputing charges.

Visit was very unpleasant, the service was okay but the food is AWFUL, I ordered Chicken fajitas, and it was the biggest disappointment. Bell peppers were overcooked, and with all the red tangy sauce couldn’t find the chicken. All ingredients were like they opened up a can of pizza sauce and poured over the chicken, my friend ordered a paella worth $35.00 I ordered the chicken fajitas $18.00 and the Mexican Coca Cola $4.00 plus tax and it’s beyond me that the bill came out to be $74.28

Security here cannot get any more incompetent. My girl fainted due to LBP this past weekend and their bottle girls did more than security did to help me keep her safe. They were quick to get my girl some water and even escorted us out to the front to get her some fresh air. She fainted a second time on the patio and security simply stood there watching me struggle to find a chair to sit her down in. The craziest part of that night was seeing one of their workers allowing men into the womens restroom. This place is too sketchy.

I am so sad to say that my visit with my son to Alegrias in Long Beach was sufficating and unpleasant !! The music was ok but the setting was horrible !! In the middle of this hot summer, its in an enclosed patio with almost no air to breath in there, no coolness whatsoever, OMG and tables so close together !! The food was very salty, the bananas in the dessert were not fresh, brown, overripe ! It is overpriced !! After buying tickets from Goldstar it was still expensive , and we still got charged taxes and I dont even know what else !! Sad sad sad :(

Music was great but bar staff was awful!!! Waited on one end of the bar for a drink. After 10min asked bartender for drink... totally ignored me.The cup washer told me we had to order from the middle of the bar. Waited in line behind 3 ..got to bar bartender took orders from the 2 next to me bur mot me...I looked to the left & bartenders were taking orders from all ends of the bar. I was completely disgusted at the service from the bar staff. NUNCA AGAIN!!!! AWFULLY AWFUL NOT ANY ALEGRIA AT THIS HUECO!

I was at the bar waited for about 30 minutes to be attended. I understand that bartenders are always busy trying to attend other customers but I was obviously being ignored...I continued being patient.. even when new people kept walking up and they were being attended right away. I know how the night life is, as I have worked in clubs before. And I am very well known in LA and Oc. So my friends and I will not be coming back here.

The Alegria Nightclub has always been a great place to do to in the Downtown area of Long Beach. We have been there several times to enjoy the the live salsa music and tasty sangria. The dancing floor gets packed with a lively crowd. So many fun times to be had here.

By far one of the worst service experiences i’ve ever had, and Im pretty patient. The server did not acknowledge us at all. We were waiting to be served for 30 minutes after being sat down. Once we left, the server immediately came to our table just to put away our menus. So if you want to just be ignored and NOT eat this is the place!

Small. Over priced. Didn’t have a large drink menu for the price l. Watched the bartender give out free drinks the ENTIRE time to friends. Cool. Security walked around THE WHOLE TIME checking for under age drinking. Which I agree with. But having a flashlight in my face every minute was extremely annoying.Let me empathize: OVERPRICED

They have an event on eventbrite for Flamenco. You pay 40$ per person but if you go to the event and have a drink they add gratuity over the whole amount. It is a scam basically that you can “read” on the small tiny letters + taxes + etcExpect to pay a lot more even after your

Lady at the bathroom charged me 3$ to go by myself in the bathroom

Great staff very nice and attentive to the customers. Our waitress was awesome. Drinks and nachos weren’t that good. Not worth another trip

A lively bar with loud music (a little too loud at times). The drinks are pretty expensive but the staff is friendly. Not a very large space but it was fun regardless.

Flamenco show for two: 80$ on eventbrite+ gratuity + taxes . It comes out to 130$ if you drink a beer

Service is ok, but the waiting time to use the restroom is that absolute worst should really invest and construct more restrooms

The atmosphere is very good, the music is perfect, but the bathrooms are not, there should be more bathrooms because waiting in line took us an hour 😔

I would give a 5 star rating but the bathroom service must be improved, 1 is not enough for so many women, at least an hour in line to access!

The best bar to enjoy a night with friends and good drinks in Los Angeles!!!!
