For those of you who are booking rooms through third parties, you should know that this used to be a fairly nice motel. But since the fires.burned through our area and left thousands homeless this motel was purchased by the city to house its homeless population and it sits right next to the city park where all the homeless hang out. Not that theres Nothing wrong with most of these people. But there are quite a few mixed in with the good ones that arent people you wanna be around. Unless youre looking to buy/sell drugs or to get your things stolen that is.. I didnt even know they still rent rooms. But I would stay away from this place..

The worst experience Ive ever had with a motel. I booked August 5th I arrive at 9:20 p.m. theres nobody at the front desk Ive already paid for the room through Expedia so I repeat repeatedly called Expedia and the hotel trying to reach somebody so that I could get into my room finally after 3 hours I booked a whole another hotel across townhere we are August 19th I still have not received my refund today I spoke to them after the third time and they said that they need to review it to find out if they want to refund my money today I went to the hotel the hotel called personally and wanted to refund my money and thats what expedia told me was it theyre going to have to review it I have no idea what theyre reviewing the hotel called personally I was there why are they holding my money? Expedia says that it could be anywhere from 7 to 14 days from today August 19th when this happened August 5th I asked for a refund August 5th

Worst experience of my life DO NOT by any means book through Expedia or with them at all! The hotel is supposedly through OYO. When I showed up in per emails it is north Medford motel or something along the lines. So when I showed up I was not sure if I was at the correct hotel but I was I had corresponded with them through email and tried to call. I booked at 7 PM through Expedia I will add that immediately after booking when I read the whole confirmation it said the check-in was 7 PM unless further notice was given which confused me as to why I would be able to book the hotel but I emailed them and have pictures of the responses below although some are automated I was under the full impression that everything would be fine. I arrived at 1 AM with no one being at the front desk. I was aware that there was a live in person to check me in at some point I called both numbers to see what I could do about the late checking I confirmed. After speaking a little loudly with a representative after getting the impression I would not be checked in people who did not look like but were supposedly management came to ask about the situation. I was told that this happens all the time they have told Expedia that theyre no longer taking bookings and I could cancel easily online. I was very frustrated and tried to troubleshoot any way I could at some point I had contacted Expedia and they said if they could contact the hotel they could possibly use What I had already paid for this booking and they would try to find someone in partnership to get me in. They were not able to get in contact with the property the property also had a third-party agent that deals with most of their bookings and seems to be extremely misinformed with any policies. Since Expedia was not able to contact anyone from the motel I was left roaming the streets of Medford being Halloween even with money I had no other option for hotels and I had an interview at 3 PM the next day everything went well in the interview and I am fine now but I do not want anyone to go through this experience again with Covid going on people are cutting back on customer service and it is getting harder and harder to trust these third parties they would like you to book through and even the hotels themselves which dont answer phones and offer cheaper rates through online third parties. Im not assuming but it also seems like a great scam to have Expedia Book and to be charging people yet not having rooms and having your policy be no refunds under any circumstances including THEIR OWN. Want to save anyone the hassle Ill admit to my own mistakes but this is a rip off no one should go through. I was looking for cheap pick somewhere with more protocol like motel six if you have too.

Please, dont stay here. I showed up at 5pm after purchasing a room online and the doors were locked. I called the number provided on the door repeatedly but no one answered, even though the lights were on in the lobby and office hours were until 11pm. After waiting around for an hour, I just left. Im not sure if its a scam or what, but I would avoid at all costs. There is literal garbage piled up around the office and this place is a dump. Please, dont make the same mistakes I made.

Made reservations via hotels.comOyo doesnt exist anymore.Took 2.5 hours to book a new room through hotels.comBut the Number for oyo is out of Puerto Rico and they told us it would be two weeks to refund our money and that they couldnt do anything to help us and I was on hold with them for over an hour its just maddening we had spent an entire day driving and were exhausted and with our infant,only to be ripped off and the new hotel that stands where Oyo used to be,Seems to be one of those places where homeless people live for a week at a time and really scary the manager will he claim to be the manager had head tattoos and a six pack of beer when he was telling my husband that it was no longer the hotel we had booked... And that they couldnt help us.Absolute nightmare.

Prepaid through Hotels.com. Arrived at motel, which was a dump. Only room they had left, walked in to find the room was already occupied.Manager was very unprofessional. Didnt say a word to us. Left the clerk to deal with us.Had to find and pay for a room somewhere else, late at night.OYO, the company that owns this derelict motel has refused to refund our money. Very unhappy about the whole situation.

The manager is very unprofessional! She came to our room at midnight to tell us to move rooms. The next day we had visitors and because the office was closed they could not sign in. The manager and her husband came over to kick them off the property. When my friend went to sign in with the managers husband he said” the office is closed “ The lady started yelling at my friend and got into her face saying she’s no B and acted like she was going to fight my friend.They have one housekeeper working . I wouldn’t stay at this motel if you don’t have to!

This place is a SCAM. NEVER stay here. We called oyo and ho their Corporate which took out reservation. Got here and they didnt tell you the address doesnt match and and it was a former Americas Best Value after 5 times driving by we figured it out and called and the girl said they had truck parking etc. We get here 5 minutes later and there is no one at the office and they are no longer answer the phone and we call and call so we called corporate and they said that check in is from 3 pm to 7 pm ( we booked at 10 and had already had to cancel one reservation cause of truck parking) a client pulls up while we were there and said no one has been here in the office for 3 days and corporate tells us no refunds. A crack head walks up in full tweak and said she works here and would get the office girl but no one came, mind you we dont want to stay here at this point but thats besides the point. Dont even ttry Its a scam. I just dont want anyone else to go thru this.

I had a terrible experience in this place. I reserved the room and called them that I would arrived during the night and they said that was ok, someone would be there to check me in. So I arrived and no one was there and no one picked the phone up. Btw there was only one number to call. I had to sleep in the car and on the next morning the manager guy was super rude and didn’t even let me use the toilet.

The new mgr would not give me my $100.00 security deposit back to me The mgr defore themstolen all the money I stay there from april tell july 2020. when i checked out i had the officelady came checked the room I cleaned she said it was clean. I had to wait on my $100.00. they didnt have it.It was about 12 days then they said I smoked in the room. I dont get it.

The room didnt look anything on their wed site. The room was dirty. No towles. Floor was dirty it was dusty. I dont understand why this hotel cost the same as the other ones.At the front desk they were very nice. The workers were nice to us

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Would give them 0 stars if possible. They overbook their capacity and it’s not worth it. They cancelled our reservation just 3 hours before we were scheduled to check in because they overbooked the place. We were left with no where to stay with last minute notice.

Read my other reviews about OYO!!!! THIS IS NOT AN OYO HOTEL. They had removed the listing after my other reviews regarding OYO proved that this is a PRIVATELY OWNED HOTEL THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OYO!!! OYO will take your money and you still wont have a hotel room, because the owner has NO ACCESS to OYO, their reservations, and cannot refund your money.

This place should not even be open and should be bulldozed. Oh its also a complete scam and theres a bunch of false information on their website and the sign they put up on the door. Sleeping in your car is preferable to this. Filing fraud against this place since they refuse to refund us for the services they did not provide. Probably going to report them to the health department too. Its not sanitary or safe.

Floors, carpet and inside of tub dirty with footprints. Didnt have remote for tv, went to office and waited for help outside building. Given remote, took back to room, only to find out it had no batteries. Need someone to stay in office and know what they are doing. Was looking for Oyo Motel, only to find out it was renamed Americas Best Value Inn, no Free Wi-Fi

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The pictures look nothing like the actual hotel. The place is a dump, and strikes me as a dangerous place. I showed up to the office, but it was locked. Waited for an hour and called repeatedly, but nothing came of it. I ended up booking a different hotel.

Great way to get covid-19. No toilet paper, no towels, not cable box, no wifi, no service, no deposit?, nothing as advertised, lamps were even dismantled, only thing in the room were random spills of heroin and meth on the bathroom floor. Perfect for my 2 year old son still at that stage where he wants to put stuff in his mouth.
