Smocala Smoke & Vape

I went in on 8/6/24 and had such a great experience shopping with the 2 lovely very educated young ladies in the shop by the names of Hailey and Frankie. They have an awesome clearance shelf where everything is $5 each, I mean $30 vapes for $5. Anyway the shop is very clean, lots of interesting items, variety of flavors and styles of vapes and all kinds of smoke utensils 💯 Very satisfied customer and will return for sure.

Smocala is by far my favorite smoke shop to go to in ocala, the staff is incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable on the products they sell. I love the down to earth vibes it has. You walk in and immediately feel welcomed. They had a 4/20 raffle last week, I had gotten third place. Let me tell you, it felt as if I had won first place. Some of the items included wraps, cleaning supplies for pieces, even had a brand new piece included, along with some merch such as clothing and a new drawstring bag. The employee who checked me out was Hailey and she was incredibly helpful and had a bubbly personality. Management was also helpful and very down to earth. Aside from the raffle they have a very large collection of “water pipes” , pipes, wraps, you name it they most likely have it. If you are looking for a new shop to go to, I would definitely recommend this place!!

This place is complete hogwash. I went and bought some kratom from them. I bought the Tusk brand in a bottle. This product did absolutely nothing for me. I tried taking it back to them and they refused to exchange it. I wouldnt go to this place for literally any of your needs. They will only mistreat you as a client. Find another place.

I love how clean and organized this shop is. The staff is always attentive and helpful and offer great recommendations. Ceecee is super sweet and Cheyanne… I can’t speak enough on how awesome she is as a manager! She keeps the staff educated, encourages a friendly stress free environment and provides excellent customer service. I appreciate her honesty and candor. Plus the playlist is always on point! Did I mention how clean it is? The shelves are always dust free and the display cases are organized making it a great shopping experience.

My absolute favorite place to stop by when Im in Ocala❤️ management and their employees are super friendly and very helpful. Definitely 5 star worthy!!

The assistant manager Sam is always so helpful and the way they always have the answer or will find it out for you!!! Great prices and the products.

This place is tan so professionally and well organized!! Everytime I come in I’m always greeted and helped out with whatever I’m looking for. Ceecee and Tay are some of the nicest ladies and are so helpful as well as your manager. (The lady) I’m bad at names I’m sorry!! But all and all excellent experience everytime!!!

Cheyenne, was honestly the best. She took her time and showed us all the water pipes that they offered in the store and went to depth with what we were looking for which was a thicker pipe. The customer service from every employee, mainly her was phenomenal, this place has definitely changed and is so much better !

This place is amazing, especially my experience recently with Maddi and Cheyenne. Those two ladies made a valiant effort to answer all my questions and assist me in any way they could. They were the relaxing and pleasant interaction I needed, and I am thankful for them having beautiful personalities. As a whole this business is very friendly and I am grateful for people that can be positive as they are on a regular basis.

This is one of the most friendly establishments Ive been to in a while and this is just a vape shop. Everyone on board is cheerful and chill at the same time, a very warm atmosphere to forget your shopping.

Came by last night, the shop is cool, good prices, and the girl with long hair that helped me was really nice and informative. I’ll be back again for sure next time I visit.

Best smoke shop in the area!!! The guy thats usually there is the best. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I dont go anywhere else.The only complaint I have is on my last visit the staff members there (two females) were not wearing masks. The sign on their door says masks are required but when your own staff doesnt wear them it defeats the purpose. It sends a message that you want the customer to wear a mask to keep the employees safe but they wont give the customer the same courtesy.

I just came here to get my ma a lil treat bc shes been hurting since surgery but I was blown away by how kind everyone is and how expansive their selection is the vibes couldnt be better

I had a fantastic experience at this store. Greeted by a beautiful pitty named Marvel. Who greeted me by licking my toes. His owner and manager of this store was so pleasant and helpful.

Ive been coming here for years and this is the best smoke shop ive been to hands down. Everyone is always super helpful and friendly. Cece, Chey, and Sam are the bestest always very helpful

Love this place, friendly staff with an awesome vibe. Prices are extremely fair, just a great experience every time. Also, sometimes when I go in they have a dog and hes very cute and very friendly!

The service at this place has definitely declined. My last few visits, no one greeted me or looked at all eager to help. When I did have a question, the guy looked at me like I had 3 heads. Keeping things organized is clearly not a priority as they make plenty of time for video games and being on their phone while the most rummaged through areas (vapes) are so wayward you can’t even see what the brands are. I’ve been to plenty of smoke shops where you are not being assisted by a walking stereotype but if that’s the experience you are looking for, Smocala is your spot.

The girl working today was fantastic, she’s was super helpful and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of delta 8&10 at the best prices I’ve found so far.

Customer service was awful. I came in on 2/9 in search of a vape. I mentioned this to the two employees behind the desk. Both employees were sitting behind the counter on their phones and didnt bother to get up from their seat. When I asked for a recommendation, one of them pointed at the glass case and mumbled something. Then when he got up to cash us out, he had no shoes on....so needless to say, I wont be back.

I was in there the other day and I just wanted to point out the lady that helped me was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and I just want to give Cece a shout out

It would be nice if they would post their actual hours because tonight is the third time now that I’ve hauled a** to get there before their posted 10:00pm closing time and the door is locked and nobody around. So obviously they close before 9:15pm - 9:30pm (though tonight I got there at 9:37). Maybe they close at 9:00pm now and just haven’t updated their posted times? This is the main reason I only gave them 3 stars because it’s cost me driving across Ocala to get there “in time” only to find the employees have once again dipped out early and now I’m left no choice but to go way out of my way for somewhere else that’s open. Unfortunately, they’ve lost myself and six others’ business because of this exact reason.

Wide selection but everything is WAY overpriced. Both employees sat on their phones the whole time I was in the store as well and never checked my ID. They just seemed like they wanted to get my transaction over with so they can go back to sitting on their phones.If youre able to hit up another shop, I recommend XFusion.

Great smoke shop with even greater staff. The first time I was in the store I had to find a very specific accessory. Not only did they have it, but they found it quickly, and did not pressure me to buy things I didnt ask for or need. This place is now my go to smoke shop. I drive a distance to go here, and its worth every mile.

Stopped in to ask what prices the glass spoons start at and was recommended I go to the shop down the road.I took their advice and with pleasure, staff gets an F for customer service

I dont assume the owners spend much time here. If they did the customer service would be better. I like to come here because there are things I want that otherwise I would need shipped but the service is horrible. Worse then anywhere iv been really. I take alot of pride in my work. These employees do not. Hire new people asap.

This was my first time ever going to smocala, and it was a great experience... I only recently started smoking, and wasnt really sure what I was looking for. I wanted something that would give me a smoother hit than what I had been smoking from, and I was immediately offered help by the staff. A girl named CeCe came up and offered her advice, and I ended up getting what she recommended, a small water pipe, and it has been great so far. 10/10

I really like the staff here and I love to support a local business but.... my daily vape E liquid, of which I go through at least 480ml a month of that alone (plus the other stuff I vape and supplies I buy), that I got hooked on after buying here, became impossible to get anymore. Everytime I called or stopped in they were always going to order it but never had... so I had to move on. I love the staff here but whoever is in charge of ordering cant expect me or anyone else to wait forever on expendables...

The staff of young, unprofessional beings that sit behind the counter of this smoke shop while staring at their phones, is a joke. They were so unhelpful, lacked any sort of people skills, and were having conversation about partying like a couple of high school, teenage boys. Looking at the other comments about terrible service, hopefully some changes are made for the betterment of the business.

I have been visiting smocala for the past 2 years and every time Todd was there to assist me he always gave me his full attention and excellent customer service. Todd always showed speedy performances, quickly helping each customer while still maintaining pace with each guest in the store. I will always go to this location because of the employees working ther . Thank you Todd

Had an issue with not being able to get a certain vape and sent an email to the Manager Tyler Ming and he not only said he would make sure the product was ordered more frequently. We went in this weekend and the product was available! Everyone who works there is just awesome and, if you lived up North you would understand this, they make you feel like you are in your friends basement having a great time! If you are not using this place for all your vape and CBD products then you are missing out!

Went in today to purchase a battery to replace the damaged one that I had. They showed me the replacement batteries I told him what kind of coil I was using And they handed me an adjustable battery and also a battery charger.I attach the battery to my coil and it didn’t work it shut down I went back gentleman handed me another it did not work. Third time to hand me a different type of battery non adjustable and it as well did not work.He stared to show me other rigs but seemed less then sure of what he was dealing with. So I just asked for a return. At which time the gentleman start acting funny and immediately went help another customer with a very upset look on his face I felt like maybe I had skip someone so I waited patiently after he was done with them he said look dude I can’t return those at that time I had a battery in my hand that cost less than the one that I originally purchased he handed me another battery that was close to the one I had purchased not the one i had and reassure me he himself could not return my cash money not credit cash! If the return policy is because I had left and returned why was there no issue with the two other items that are now up for resale that I had left the store with and returned ...poor attitude very poor salesmanship and all-around poor experience. If the gentleman attitude was one of an good store keeper then maybe a sorry And a short reason why he could not return my money but hey for just ten twenty more we could get you a pin up and running to hold you over ......Should’ve kept my money at sweetleaf tobacco I regret deeply deeply Not just going to sweetleaf!!!

An amazing place to buy the Vape supplies you are looking for.The latest cotton? They have it.The greatest flavors? Yep, that too.Vape juices at fair prices. Check.Need coils? Just go by and say what you need.If you arent sure, ask them and they will get you taken care of.They also have a huge assortment of other products as well, jump in and take a look.

They didnt have a lot of things in stock when we went in for a new mod for my husband but they guy was very helpful and my husband left happy with a new mod in hand. This wasnt our first visit either, they seem very helpful every time we go in, even when Im grumpy ;)

I wouldnt choose another smoke shop to go to. Always great service and amazing experience everytime i visit. Highly recommend stopping by and checking out the amazing pieces. High quality and up to standerds. Tyler is usually the guy thats in there while i visit most the time and hes always polite and knows his stuff. Great people great shop great vibes. I just have great things to say about this shop and the people who work there. 5 outta 5 stars but they surpass that in standards and customer care. Keep up the good work guys.

Been vaping since the start, been to shops all over Florida and I stopped in this one on my way upstate because my coil died and I only a mesh coil can suffice once you try one. Whoever helped me sorry forgot your name. Was fantastic , his knowledge was top tier and wasted no time getting me what I wanted. I really was looking for some new goods and I have to say Ive never left a vape shop more satisfied with my all around experience. Awsome shop , go here first.

The store was very unorganized and the selection was poor. The 4 kids behind the counter weren’t helpful at all and cursing about other people and plain rude. Very unprofessional. Didn’t want to help at all and sat on their phones. No desire to return or recommend.

Not to bad but more expensive... updated been shopping around and where this shop must not compare local kratom prices, theres really no reason 4 miles away in a smoke shop I get the same brand from the same vendor and strain amount of caps and same batch # for 15$ less. Up to a 5$ difference is sometimes expected when maybe the shop isnt buying as much in bulk so their cost is more then smoke me sideways ECT. But on the delta 8 and 10 carts Ive been getting lately the urbzd8/d10 for 20$ the lady the brunette lady that was cleaning every shelf the other day said they were better then the alt health brand and boy was she right the cannoid brand thats 38$ isnt this good. Im going to hopefully be able to get back I really want to get the sweet skunk strain Ive tried 3 so far the tropical zkittles is the best 3 puffs and for a hybrid its very euphoric with I wont shut up added. So thank you SMOcala u made me think twice and done back and maybe u research the Kratom prices Im paying 14.99.for 60caps of opms Malay green vein. Or 15.99 for 75caps kjoy trainwreck from another credited smoke shop. (Never gas station its trash yall)

Very unprofessional male employee running around the store barefoot. Ask him to check me out as I was done shopping and ignored me. After repeated attempts to check out, left my items (over a hundred dollars in purchases) on the counter and walked out.. He was very rude. He was to busy socializing with a buddy. Wont be back. Took my money to another shop.

Nice selection of glass pieces, friendly staff, nice environment. My only complaint is that this store is grossly overpriced and not competitive with other shops in the area. Id visit again but probably wouldnt purchase anything because I could find it cheaper elsewhere.

Nice shop but I agree with the other review I was confused none of the employees were wearing masks even when there is a masks are required to enter sign right on the front door. So thats disappointing but if you dont care about that they have some cool piece in there worth checking out.

This is my go-to vape shop in Ocala. The people working there are very nice and between all the employees there they have a lot of experience with many different setups and are pretty good at recommending and describing flavors. I love that they also have a rewards punch card so that just by buying the juices I want I eventually get free juice. They do of course have tobacco and tobacco products as well so if that’s what you’re into they go you covered as well.

This is the best smoke shop in Ocala. The employees are the most knowledgeable and are nice everytime I go in there. Its very convenient to my classes at the college, and I look amazing when I go in there after I get my hair cut at the barber shop next door.

I personally did not go in there for the smoke and vape stuff I went there to use a Bitcoin machine but the manager there definitely knows his product very well hes a very nice guy if I did smoke or vape I definitely would go there prices there a decent and its a popular place

I went in there today to purchase my first vape pen and cbd oil. The girl working behind the counter didnt answer any of my question and so did the other guy, almost like they were just flat out ignorning me, and they were simple questions. Then another guy came to me, he knew his stuff and helped me out and I got what I needed. I wont go back in there because had he not of been there, I would of just walked out. I am now going to one locally where I live and went there when I got back in town, and I should of went there in the first place. They were very knowlegeable and helped me out on top of stayed open later just so I can come in for a few minutes so they can answer some questions for me.

One of my favorite smoke shops. The guys (or gals) there always make sure you know what you’re buying. From hookahs to ecigarettes, they got your back. Their glass pieces are beautiful, prices do vary but never anything exuberant. Honestly, if you’re in Ocala skip the other smoke shops and save some time by going to Smocala! You definitely get the service and item than you’re paying for.

Staff was super helpful and able to supply me with everything I asked for. Gave good recommendations for future purchases! Will be back.

Do NOT buy any coils from SMOCALA. Bought our 5th and 6th coils from them and not even 13 hours later, they are both dry hitting! (Different ohms and cotton wraps than previous 4 coils). I was basically told on the phone that I am out $12.73 because they have a strict No Returns policy. That should not apply to coils with manufacturer defects! How did the guy even know what device I had to target SMOK? I asked him how did he know what device I had, was he the one that dealt with me on Sunday? He became hesitant to answer but mutter probably not then started to bad mouth Smok. If I was Smok, I would ve ashamed to have a customer that would talk bad about my company to other potential customers. When I bought these coils Sunday night, I was given the reason for them burning up so quick that I was hitting it too long and causing the coil to dry out. I was told ideally not to vape over 3.0 seconds, but since that occasion I have been vaping between 2.5 and 2.7 seconds. This is the LAST TIME I will ever purchase anything from Smocala because they are only in it for the money and not customer service. I made a huge mistake by not continuing to buy from my go to place for coils and juices. Also, thet have completely lost my business for e liquids since I founs another place locally, that sells the same size bottle of Naked for $10.95... Not $19.95(smocalas new price) or $24.95(smocalas old price when I bought 3 bottles of it)

Zero customer service skills . Employees are very RUDE ! My wife and I spend a ton of money on vape supplies (coils , e—liquids ect) they definitely lost out and we will spread the word about the terrible service we received!

The only good thing about this place is that they’ll sell to people under 21. The rest of the time you’re there, it’s mostly just girls who don’t know anything about e-cigs, and they just want the interaction to be over so they can sit on their phones and scroll tik-tok. If you have another option, take it.

Smocala is the mf place to go for all of youre smoking and vape needs. Such an amazing variety of cool things to get I didnt even know existed and the staff is always happy to help with anything you need. I always go during the day and ask for Tyler who is one of the managers. That dude knows his stuff especially if youre asking about vaping products.

Went in to get a puff bar two girls were so worried about there own conversation rather than a customer, lady inside didnt even ask me what I would like or offered suggestions like a regular business owner should as a self employed business owner its sad to see way things are ran here oh yeah also spent 30 some dollars for this puff bar that doesnt even work will be calling bank to get my money back and dispute this charge.

The employee here was able to give me good insight into the products to help me better decide what I wanted to buy.

I when yesterday and buy a pen vapor I was so excited I when home and I plugged to charge and dont work I get soo mad so I Ben calling the store and no awnser so I want a replacement or my money is not fear.

They are selling k2 pre rolled Incognito do not buy there fake trees. They dont have smoke Vap pens so they try to sell you K2 like it good trees. Do not buy there Himp trees its K2

Called to ask to hold one case of mint juul pods for when i got off work, guy said yes they in stock and well hold it, i showed up after 20 min drive and he said they had no more or the one they held for me

Go see them. Normally they have everything I need and wants. A large selection of e-cigs and more.have brought several waterpipes for tobacco use from there also. Check my boy Tyler out, he got what u need.

Got a water pipe from there yesterday used it once go to bed wake up and its broken and then tell me theres nothing they can do bad

They dont let you test any so I got stuck with a tiny 13 dollar bottle of juice I dont like -_-
