Drinks flowed, and the waitresses were on point consistently checking and filling our water glasses.Bathrooms were clean, and even though the place was packed, it didnt feel overwhelming. If youre ever in Seattle and you love music, I suggest you make your way to Keys on Main, you wont be disappointed
Still trying to figure this place out. Theyre only open Thurs - Sat from 9pm on. They dont serve any food, but they have a full bar. Not sure what their typical crowd is like, or even if they get a crowd... Admittedly, I wasnt there for the dueling piano show. Ill try and get to a show soon... I was there for a one-off comedy show performance by a local artist. The place was packed, which was a great sign... But other times Ive been by Keys on Main it looks rather dead. Bartenders were friendly, but no table service. That would have been nice. The lines to get a drink were pretty long for cocktails and canned beer (nothing on draft). Makes me think that they cant typically handle a crowd... The interior is really nice. Well designed for larger crowds... Yes, its not the old Re-Bar place (which was lovingly divey and I miss it a lot)... But I have to give props to the new owners for creating a nice space even though its not the same as before.
Had an amazing and one-of-kind experience here at Keys on Main. Really enjoyed the dueling piano performances. The performers were talented and engaging. I went with a big group to celebrate a birthday and they accommodated us very well. Will definitely be back!
The pianists are absolutely amazing and talented. Not only do they kill every song that you request. You also get a comedic show. The servers are attentive and on point. The bartender pours heavy and makes tasty cocktails. But, this place needs some major TLC. Compared to the Tacoma location. Seattle was a big disappointment.
This is not your regular musical theatre joint. This is pop songs played loud with lots of gusto and no harm for that. Drinks are strong and can be served in buckets if you wish. Song requests are received better when accompanied by large cash donations. Great at what it does, which is late night singing at top volume.
We went there Saturday night. Most of the tables were filled. Fun vibe.Good place for Bachelorette, bachelors, or birthday party outings. You can request music for pianists, I think $20. There is ATM machine inside next to the bar counter.I recommend reserving a table if you want to get good seats. We got there 9:30pm, no wait but we got a table by wall and very tight with the next tables. We didnt order food , so I have no idea about food options.I got white sangria. That was a tasty and very fun presentation. It looks like shiny moon.
Incredibly talented pianists, and an overall fun and inviting atmosphere. I was here for a birthday party and it was pretty funEssentially a great concert for 10 bucks, pretty great deal kDid wish they had food though, even like light bar fare would be nice
I loved the dual pianos and all players were funny and put on a great show. The place kinda felt dirty and no seats at the large bar area. Theres no cover but they make up for that with high drink prices.I would definitely go back though.
Im thrilled to share my experience at Keys On Main in Seattle. From the moment my fiancée and I walked in, we were captivated by the electric atmosphere and the enchanting entertainment. As amateur pianists ourselves, we were in awe of the talent on stage. The service was truly second to none. Every staff member made us feel like VIPs, ensuring our night was unforgettable. What stood out most was their genuine care when we accidentally left behind something valuable. They went above and beyond to help us recover it, a testament to their exceptional customer service.Keys On Main is not just a venue; its an experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a night filled with great music, vibrant energy, and top-notch service. Its a gem in Seattle that you wont want to miss!
Had a good time in here...my only real complaint is that the audio system in there is pretty poor. It was difficult to make out the words the musicians were singing...the audio was really muddy. If this werent music centric, I wouldnt bother making the point...but as this is a piano bar, I think its really important. If they improve their sound system, it would be 4 stars for me.
My sister and I are 58, we were denied entry because I guess we weren’t looking good enough for the place. We were dressed casual nice. They decided that my twin’s Canadian ID -with a picture and a birthdate - was not good enough for them. As if we were underage ha! I think that’s pure age discrimination!! Make sure to wear high heels and show some butt skin to get in.
Honestly the musicians were awesome and talented. Drinks and service was good too. Wasn’t crowded or too busy at 10 on a Friday.Warning to those with sensitive hearing because it is painfully LOUD in there that two of my guests had to leave. I wish we could’ve enjoyed the music more but the volume was just way too high on the speakers and caused my ears to ring. I would come back again if they turned down the volume and if I brought ear plugs.
My wife and I have flown from the Bay Area 3 times now for weekend getaways and this place is the absolute highlight of our trip each and every time! The new location is great!!! Much bigger, amazing staff (Jay was amazing) and the pianists are phenomenal each and every time! They know every song EVER and Chris was da-da- dope with his singing skills and rapping! Please bring this the the bay in CA!!Amazing talent both on piano and singing!Highly recommend!!
Awesome night out with super talented performers and great servers.Do yourself a favor and go here. The only thing it really needs is a dance floor for the awesome tunes being played.
A great live music venue. Also a good place to bring your out of town guests for a fun night or celebrate a special occasion like bridal shower. The service is great, the musicians are extremely talented and their ability to play any song well always impresses me. This place gets packed on Friday and Saturday nights, you may want to make a reservation.
This was the best night out! This was my first time at this Keys on Main location. It did not disappoint! We came out for a friends birthday and the artists rocked the house! They know just about every song and play so well. Drinks are great price, and staff is friendly. If you havent been to Keys on Main, you definitely need to check it out! We will be back soon!
The songs are great however if you are not there by 8:45 your reservation is completely gone so dont waste your $20 trying to make a reservation if by chance you get routed to a different location like we did,or are late at all. Bring your own booze because trying to get a drink in this place is non-existent It was one bartender for the whole entire place on Saturday, I was really looking forward to going to this place but I will never be back.
It is a great place to go out. The servers are so friendly attentive and reliable. The performers are fantastic and know all the songs too. They serve champagne by the bottle too!
I absolutely love this place. My gf and I have been there several times and always look forward to going back.
Husband and I have come here twice - a Thursday and a Friday - and have had an absolute blast both times, just yelling along with great tunes and laughing with the pianists for hours. Thursdays are cover-free and light on audience but we loved it, dont have to pay too much for your requests to be played and everyone feels close by the end of the night. We grabbed a pizza from the place down the street for dinner during the show, although they also deliver here! Fridays are packed and people go nuts in the most fun way, and the bar manager is awesome! Either way, if you love music-based comeraderie and a steady stream of excellent drinks, this is your new favorite bar.
Great spot. Had to pay $20 for the two of us to be there on a Friday night. Alcohol was ok bucket was just juice lol if you are thinking of coming and want to request a song every song costs $20 or they wont play it. Like really lol. Probably will return but not request any songs was they wont play then unless you give them $20 they have to make their money somehow
Great comedy show by Gabe Rutledge, as usual. Also enjoyed his show on New Years in Everett
Friendly and very fun atmosphere. No food offered but they allow delivery so we doordashed with no problems. Performers were outstanding and kept the crowd engaged. Go experience a good time!
We had an absolute blast at a party we had here. Drinks were great, atmosphere was perfect, staff knocked it out of the park, and energy during the performance was off the charts. Well be back soon! 👍
Zach and Aaron were amazing! VERY talented! They created such a fun vibe and the music was great! Wonderful venue for a fun night out.
This place is an absolute blast, came here to celebrate a couple of my friends birthday and the piano players were on point. You give your request and tip what you want; higher tips get played first. The players are insanely knowledgeable and will generally know how to play any song that was popular for some length of time. From my first experience here I would say youll need to tip at least $20 if you want your song played within the first couple hours. The drinks were a little reminiscent of the fruity drinks you could get at Sugar Factory or at Unicorn. The selection of drinks is large so plenty to choose from, but no pricing on the menu indicates you should expect to pay $15-$20 per drink. My (large) drink was $18.Note that since most of the song requests are random songs of any genre that they transpose to piano on the fly, the dueling aspect is more like one person plays melody and the other plays harmony.Second note is they do not serve food here, but you can apparently have DoorDash deliver food!
The musicians are passionate and skilled, but it was too loud. My ears are still ringing and I had to leave earlier than I would have liked. I also couldnt chat with the people around me. My advice is to maybe bring earplugs for concerts. Hopefully this saves your hearing.
The entertainment was amazing! Chris, Aaron, and Kit are incredibly talented, and I hope to see them perform together again. Just incredible. The only reason I’m giving 4-Stars instead of 5 is because there really needs to be some crowd control. I watched a couple get pushed out of their table and leave the venue because a large group congregated around them and was getting rowdy in their space. In addition, if you were at this show you’ll know this next part I’m talking about: the mamacitas. They kept taking over the stage, interrupting the performers, and knocking chairs into me personally through the entire evening. There was also an incident where a guy was harassing one of the girls on stage and it did not get taken care of at all.
Great piano playing, great vibe, and great drinks! The only downside is I think it’s way too expensive to buy a song. You can pay up to $20 but the lower you pay, there’s no guarantee that your song even gets played. It’s a lot of fun with friends but expect to spend a lot of money.
Most of our group had a good time. Its a little odd. Drinks are good. Service is good. The show is fine. Maybe I just wasnt into it as much as I could have been. Many of the other people seemed to be enjoying it. The piano guys seemed to be making a killing. I think it was more karaoke feeling as opposed to dueling piano bar but to be fair I have only been to one other.
Went there on the last night before their move to a new location. Ben and Aaron were amazing! They are both very talented, played phenomenally, kept everyone engaged, and ratchet AF. Their rendition of Golddigger and other hip-hop songs were not like anything you would expect at a piano bar. Best spot for a good time to sing along to songs you love.
Love this place! I am always blown away by how talented the pianists are. The versatility of songs they can play AND sing is amazing. They know how to put on a show! The service is also great. You gotta check out ladies night on Thursdays! $4 drinks for the ladies!! Seriously ALL drinks are $4. Its a wild time, check it out for sure
Was in town for a work trip and saw the full show on friday, great piano playing and a great crowd!i was there alone so i may be looking too critically at things, but want to share my observations.too few bartenders with little experience led to an awkward line at the bar, way too strong cocktails, and long waits for simple drinks. some young sales bros got too hammered and were mean-mugging other guests, and at some point someone puked in a urinal. reminded of earls in u district; it was odd to have a dive bar experience in a place that took reservations, and where all the guests were dressed to impress.good staff at the door - kept others from stealing my table while i was in line for a drink.the show itself was worth it all; tons of great classics. amazong piano playing, great energy by the players in getting some audience participation. some awkward moments when country songs and iron maiden were suggested. i totally get why they saved piano man for the end of the show, but thats a hell of a sad song to play when its freezing outside and 80% of the audience had already left. but, like i said, i went alone so maybe im being overly critical. good fun on a friday night
Fire whatever bartender is working Friday night and hire 2 bartenders who have a small clue and taste what they serve. Piano plays are on point. Its not a make what I want issue. Its a taste what you serve issue. The fishbowl was straight pixie stick and the old fashioned was gasoline
Fun Friday night celebrating my daughters birthday which they make sure she is recognized and celebrated for her birthday. We were a little early to make sure we got good seats up front on the shared community table. Later at night it got packed and all seats were taken for bit. Drink service was good. No food is served but you can bring in or have it delivered. Overall experience was good and highly recommend for a fun night.
Always a local favorite (mostly for birthdays and bridal parties), this place is packed to the brim on weekends. Even with the cover charge sometimes, its worth going in an enjoying the dueling pianos. The musicians they have a very talented, funny and get the crowd into the acts each night. Whether its going initial the crowd or pulling people up on stage, you can always expect some crazy shenanigans going on in there. Lots of people go earlier in the night, so if you go later, youll have a better chance at getting a seat since theres never enough seating even though they have a ton of tables.
The venue was overbooked so our party of 12 was moved free of charge to the VIP section, which was great. I understand that in this country people work on tips, but the artists wouldnt even consider playing a song request unless it had no less than a $20 bill along with it, which was my least favorite part. In general, we had a really great time.
I am a total shut in. So when my friends told me we are going to a bar I thought cool, grab a drink and some food and bail. However I arrived at this place not knowing what to expect. I got a drink (the jolly rancher - delicious) sat at a table with my friends and we started to hang out. I was not expecting the place to get nearly as packed as it did. And then BOOM amazing music. Great artists, and amazing crowd participation. I stayed out all night and sang and danced until the show was over. Im super glad I went here. Well worth the money.
Went on a Thursday night had no problem getting my request played with $8. The drinks are a little pricy but Thursday was girls night which featured $4 drinks. The two pianists were skilled in piano but more so in engaging a unique crowd. (in this case 70% nurses). I would recommend this place as a fun, musical, journey and experience.
Went in on a Thursday night after work and the pianos were playing at full force till midnight! It was awesome to hear such talented musicians! They took any requests, for a gratuitous donation, and sang and played everyones request to perfection! It was like a live action jukebox! Super cool, going again and again! Oh, and the bartender was super nice and knew how to make a proper drink! And.... Thursday nights are ladies night, $4 for ANY drink all night!!
The show started off pretty hilarious. They were engaged with the crowd, making jokes, pulling people up on stage…it was great! I usually really enjoy myself here. My last visit though was not that great. We went after dinner for my sisters birthday, I wrote a request for her to be pulled up on stage THREE TIMES, all together I think the cash equaled about $55…..and yet she was never pulled up. We were sure to write that it was her birthday on each slip….BUT…the same bachelorette was pulled up on stage on four different occasions and another birthday girl was pulled up for a song….then I decide to just settle for them playing one of her favorite songs…we paid for the song again…THREE TIMES…and it was never played. Songs that had less money attached was played first, I’m assuming because that’s the type of music the pianist liked…So basically I wasted around $85 on requests that were never fulfilled. I’m not made of money. In the beginning they state that if you have more money attached to your request then it will be played first, apparently that only counts if they like the song. Also, the drinks were watered down or tasted like pure sugar. Stick with beer if you do decide to go. If you are a fan of Nirvana or Guns and Roses then you’re golden, that’s what they really stuck to.
Dueling pianos and drinks... I mean, that kinda sells itself. I personally found it hilarious, and nostalgic.
Best piano bar in Seattle! Highly recommend if you’re looking for live music and a really fun time! Had the best experience for a birthday, lively, fun and interactive!
My first time to a piano bar and I could not have been more impressed. The performers exceeded all exceptions and the crowd had a spirit to match. Would highly reccomend!
Excellent place for entertainment. The piano players were fantastic and kept the crowd going. On a Sat night, the place was packed. Reservations are recommended. $10 cover charge at the door. Recommend getting in at least 15 mins before showtime as the line gets backed up. Drink service was slow and the bar was crowded (minus 1 star). I would go again.
So much fun! The guys are super funny as well as talented! Only issue is that I made my reservation online and paid the $10 cover. But when I got there I was asked for $10 cover again and told the one I paid online was separate? I didnt see that disclaimer anywhere. BUT still an amazing night out!
Loved my experience there. All the pianists are so talented, shoutout to Chris who was especially entertaining.
The entertainment was awesome and it was packed! Drinks were moderately priced, but almost nonexistent pour. My issue was with reservations. It was $80 to make. I could live with that had the actually saved the seats. We got seated so the issue was the $80. It was for the reservation and not credited to our purchase when we arrived, on time. Yes, we still paid full cover charge in addition to the $80 reservation fee. Had we not shown, I could understand them keeping the fee. Since we all arrived, seems to me that the fee should have paid the cover charge.
Great entertainers, worth the 10$ cover charge. Drinks unfortunately lack a bit of dedication, and the crowd can be a little rowdy. Class to see the talent and comedy of the piano players though. If the place is packed expect paying $20 upwards for a song.
Had a birthday here and reserved the VIP section. Jordan was super helpful with the process and our group had so much fun during the entire show. If you enjoy dueling pianos, these guys put on a show that can’t be missed.
Had a fun evening with friends. Jordan and Aaron are very talented piano players and did a great job interacting with the crowd. Went on a Thursday night so it wasn’t packed but still a good sized audience. Time flew by - left around midnight - tired out after lively show
What a fun place! Was definitely a great experience for nonstop music, very lively and fun! Its a must visit place if youve never been before.
Every time my boyfriend I visit a city we try find a piano bar. The dueling piano night was the most fun I had on our whole Seattle trip! Amazing talent there and good drinks too.
A fun place! the performers were very interactive. very crowded and Im glad we made reservations. I would add more waiters to the service, as the gals there were pretty swamped and it took us a while to get our drinks/check. (we asked 3 times). they were very nice though. they didnt serve any coffee which was odd to me. not sure if thats a normal thing?? all in all it was a good time.
Had a great time! We made reservations for a Saturday night. When we arrived we were seated at tall chairs with no table. We were able to move to a table after people didn’t show up for their reservation. But it was a little disappointing that we didn’t know this in advance. Would have given 5 stars had we know that when we made the reservation. The dueling pianos were great and kept everyone engaged and laughing. Will be back.
Great night out! We had a lot of fun, and the entertainment is impressive
Fun crowds, great piano players. Be ready to join along in the interactive fun singing journey from old hits to new favorites these guys turn almost any song from many genres into a fun piano bar experience. I look forward to coming back.
We had an extremely fun night out here on a Friday. The piano men were extremely talented and entertaining. Laughter, applause and dancing ensued.
Thanks so much to the staff and the piano talent at Keys on Main. You all made my wifes birthday a night she will never forget. I highly recommend this show to anyone planning a birthday, a special event or just a night out on the town. You will not be disappointed.
Fun place to enjoy drinks with your friends and listen to some amazing music. The piano players and singers are fantastic and keep the audience captivated with their subtle jokes. One advice for first time goers, carry change to honor their classy way of asking for tip. 😜
It was a fun night out with the wife. Not a big fan of them telling you to sit across from the person you came with but we were able to switch seats with another couple who wanted to switch also. They don’t have food but thought it was cool they let you bring your own food in. We ordered pizza across the street and brought it in durning the show. The piano players got the crowed into in a lot, just a lot seems staged like the songs they chose to play. I put in a request and it never got played it out bid. They also said a lot songs had $20-$40 on it and to tip more of they want it stopped..I don’t believe they actually got that much for the song but just there way to try and get more money. Over all it was a fun time at Keys On Main.
Awesome night out, the guys on the piano are great performers and musicians, and are really funny. Bar service can be slow but the range is good. Venue could be a little bigger but it would probably just keep filing up.
Freakin awesome good time! I spent too much money putting a stop to all the country music requests haha. The musicians are super talented and great showmen. And the crowd makes it so fun too.Service is attentive and the drinks kept coming (maybe too much).
Keys on Main is always good for a fun night out! If you want to be close to the stage, get their earlier or make a reservation because it can fill up quickly. Each piano player/singer is super talented and always livens up the crowd. Good for bachelorette parties, birthdays, or just fun with your friends. Tip your entertainment and your waitress!
Wife and I had a really good time, drinks were and very good and prices as well. But the show just felt way to similar to last time we were there about 3 years ago.
I went here for the first time for a birthday party. It was on a weeknight so I was only planning on staying until 10 and then slipping away. Unfortunately for my plans, I had so much fun that I didnt manage to tear myself away until almost midnight! Definitely planning coming here again - and bringing friends!
Had a good time and the musicians were talented and energetic. Would probably go again if convenient. The drinks and cover are very reasonable. Its not the best piano bar Ive been to, but its pretty good. There needs to be some greater attention to detail though, including some of these items:- The sound levels were off. One musicians piano and mic were much louder than the other, which is a problem because when one plays piano, the other plays electric drum sounds. They didnt match.- The seating is awkward. Long tables like a beergarden, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers.- The lights are too bright. Its a bar show - turn them down.- The electric drums are tolerable, but a real drummer makes a hugh difference for a good piano show.- There is no food available. It would be nice to have bar food, like fries.
Great music and a fun crowd.
They do what they do very well. It really bummed me out to see such a historic venue (Rebar) torn apart, and the non alcoholic options are limited to say the least, but if you moved to this city for a job or can otherwise afford Seattle, this is a great spot for boomers and woo girls alike.
1st time in Seattle with my son niece and nephew. Had a blast! The guys put on a great fun show. Bartender took good care of us. Will definitely come again.
Total opposite of what I expected. The place is small, way too loud, and lacks class. The musicians slaughtered the few hip hop/urban songs they attempted. Most of the songs were played through an auto-generated system and the musicians just didnt seem to be that talented. We ended up leaving after a few songs to find a karaoke bar, where we had way more fun. This place is distasteful and very raunchy. Waste of my money, time, and drive to Seattle!
This place is a blast! The piano staff really know how to keep the atmosphere great and interactive. Had a wonderful time out for a friends birthday party. It can get expensive so plan to spend money.
Quite the place for a birthday party. Music is loud, beer selection is okay, but the drinks take awhile to actually taste like theres alcohol in them. Great for big groups that are organized and have everyone there by 8:45, otherwise, dont count on getting in. Musicians are awesome, but I cant believe they didnt know Beast of Burden!
Great fun! Everyone was so friendly and nice. We had a great time for my sisters 60th birthday party. Age doesnt matter, as long as you are there to have a good time.
The pianists bring so much energy and fun on stage! They are also all so talented and capable of playing any requested song.
WARNING: Reservations do NOT guarantee you a spot at this establish!! Worst customer service experience I have encountered in years.I made reservations for my birthday almost two weeks ago, my reservation was confirmed via email and I also received a phone call the night of confirming my reservation again. I arrived around 830pm and was informed my party of 10 was on the “wait list” and there was no spot for us. The staff was rude and dismissive, the “manager” walked away from me mid sentence and just started pouring drinks behind the bar. She also told me the “reason” is they over booked reservations by 30%, what’s the point of making reservations then?? We were continuously treated as if 1- we were wrong/at fault and 2- they could not have cared less. The only reason we got a spot, crammed in a corner where we couldn’t see and had no table service (resulting in 30+ minute waits at the bar), was because another group overheard our issue and crammed us into their space with them which incurred a snarky remark from the door guy and he then proceeded to take chairs away from my party (like literally asked them to stand up and just took their chairs away) because we inconvenienced his path.At one point we tried to ask another staff member to help and were ignored with “my job is just to watch the door”.In the interest of fairness we were comped a handful of drinks which is appreciated, but it was far too little too late.
STRIL CLUB FOR SINGERS - Was there last night. The place is moderately designed with minimal arrangements. The drinks are ok. The singers are talented but extremely greedy and loud and no sense of respect for the audience or the music in general. They expect to be paid and paid and paid to sing which ideally they should be doing on their own. They make the place feel more like a strip club to be honest where music is not priority. Worst behaviour is when they take the money and just dont sing your song cuz someone paid a dollar more than you. So there goes your money down the drain and trust me its a lot. Around 20$ gets you your song played for a minute or so. Total rip off. Drunk people make silly choices and i witnessed it first hand seeing them getting robbed like idiots at this strip club for singers. Expect to shell out more than $100 for 5 minutes of your fav songs.
Wife and I needed an opportunity to have fun and unwind. We got way more than we bargained for! Over the top excitement and people watching. Entertainers are Masters of their craft. Libations were fairly priced which kept them flowing.
I had an over 20 person reservation for my 25th last Friday and we had an awesome time overall. Both the show and the service was great! Thank you for a fun birthday!
Came here with a few friends while in Seattle. We planned on spending an hour or two here but stayed until the show was over. The two performers had amazing chemistry and it was a hilarious and extremely entertaining performance.
Not my cup of tea. I love the piano but this was super silly and raunchy. It almost became a bidding war to get a song you wanted played. A $5 tip wasnt enough, they mocked it and moved on. My friend did somewhat enjoy herself but I wasnt into it.
Thursday night is ladies night! They dont have food but if youre having a party you can bring your own. Drinks are good and ive never had a hard time getting them as long as you go to the bar. The piano men are great but all the songs I want them to play they dont know. They did let me choose a new song though. If you want them to play your song faster give them $6 +
Fun place, very loud.Tips get your songs played.Sadly they dont acknowledge when you stump them. They didnt knowI Am by Johnny Lang which was written by Prince they just played a Johnny Cash song instead.Would have been better to just say they didnt know the song..
This place was so fun. Took my bestie bachelorette there and had a plast singing along. Even the coolest of dudes we’re swaying and singing when their jam starting playing. Such impressive, funny and talented nets on the piano.Minor complaints would be the chairs being a teeny bit uncomfortable, and people breathing down you neck over a bannister if you sat in the back.Totally recommend to anyone!
If you are into sing a longs or u just feel like having a night out with your friends where everyone can be a little silly than this is your place. Keys on Main is a dueling piano bar located just outside of downtime seattle. The atmosphere is lively and there are a lot of drinks flowing. People are singing along to some of the great piano hits and some not so great piano hits (Taylor Swift anyone). Cover charge is $5 on the weekend and the Piano players accept tips to play songs that you request. But no need to request music if you dont want to. Its funny just to get a table, a few drinks and enjoy the good and bad song choices of everyone else.
New location is awesome. Will play anything from Eminem to Bon Jovi. All of the performers are super talented and bring the 🔥🔥🔥
This place is a really good time to sit back, relax, have a few drinks and sing a lot of songs everyone knows with your best buds. Its also a great idea to throw a few dollars at the pianists to start a good old fashioned rivalry between musical genres!
My partner and I had such a fun time here! The entertainment was fantastic and the drinks were very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!
Ive been here for two bachelorette parties, and both times ive been completely entertained. These guys are so talented, funny, and really know how to get everybody dancing. Great experience, highly recommend.
The musicians are phenomenal and very talented, making this place a lot of fun. The cocktails are alright and get the job done but theyre nothing to write home about.
Great pianists. Everyone parties hard here.
Dont ever splurge for the VIP section, its embarrassingly terrible and stupid expensive. Plus they are kind of shady about their fees. It was a huge disappointment. Just sit at the regular tables because the piano people are still fun to listen to.
When we arrived to Keys on Main we asked the three workers at the front if it would be possible to call us a cab after the show because we were from out of town and did not buy data plans for our phones. They assured us that they would be able to call us a cab no problem. We then enjoyed the show and when it was time to leave we asked the manager if she would be able to call us a cab. She stated that they cant call cabs for people. We told her that three others had said they could and she made us point them out to her. She refused to call us cab and would only give us a number for a cab company, even after explaining that we dont have a phone. A bartender ended up using his personal cell phone and stepped outside to call us a cab. Overall we enjoyed the show but the manager was horrible and rude to us, for that reason I would not return.
Awesome experience for a first visit. We had seats dead center table right in front of the stage and Kitt and Zechariah absolutely killed it. Live music can sometimes be a hit or miss in Seattle but Keys on Main is a solid hit. Excited to go back in the future. Request Thunderstruck if Kitts playing, you won’t regret it!
Talented piano players very entertaining but dont expect them to play a shortened song for about a minute or so for about 20 dollar tip or more. I dont make 20 an hour and they expect me to shell out 20 dollars at least for a minute? Place is a ripoff if you arent made out money or if you enjoy blowing your paycheck in one night to have someone do a short rendition of your favorite songs which by the way they will stop playing in the middle of your song and not go back if someone throws down 21 dollars or more for their song. They say we should support our local artists but why when these guys are greedier than the big names? Can listen to more than 4 or 5 songs you want to hear at a concert for less than 100 or come here and blow more than that to hear the songs you want to hear while being hassled for even more tips after you just gave them 20 bucks to to play for a minute. RIDICULOUS!
Keys on main was incredible! This is a must stop for fun night life in Seattle
Piano dudes rocked the house and people were enjoying themselves. Service a little slow even when the place was half full and I didnt really like the way the long tables are arranged. Worth a visit for the entertainment.
Had a wonderful time with a crowd that was 3 bachelorette parties strong. Performers were sensational. For cheaper (and slightly less rambunctious) fun, go on Thursday or Friday night!
We paid for a reserved table. Upon arrival, we were told they could not find our reservation, despite us showing them the confirmation email. They offered a waived door fee, but we would have to stand. When we asked for a refund, they half-heartedly told us to write down the name of the reservation... Which they couldnt find to begin with. What poor integrity and professionalism on behalf of Aaron and the establishment.Update: The manager, Aaron, never refunded us like he said he would. We had to reach out to their email support for another employee to take care of it.
Had a ton of fun even on a late weekday night I can imagine its be more exciting with a bigger crowd on a weekend. Pianists are crazy impressive and talented able to take any song request.
The pianists are incredibly talented! They put on an amazing show. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a great time.
Making a reso for the extra $25 to sit at the front was sooo worth it! The piano players are so much fun, amazingly talented and have so much energy. Danced up on stage with them and had a blast. So much love from Vancouver, Canada xo
Great music venue, solid drinks and a happy crowd. They attract a nice crowd and create a great environment. We visited last week on vacation and had fun.
Clean and freshly painted walls prevent the lounge from feeling dingy and creepy, like some piano bars. Pours are a bit weak, music is turned up loud enough to make your ears ring. Piano players are funny and know a wide variety of songs, from country music to hip hop. The songs are nominated by guests, who bring up selections with cash. The fees arent cheap - $10 might get your song played, but $11 might beat your song and play a different song. $100 will guarantee that your song will be played at its fullest length. Great for parties where you dont want to speak to each other at all and dont mind hearing cover songs.
Me and my fiance Ralph went there for my 37th bday. We had the best Time! Great drinks, great music, staff was polite and attentive. Ill never forget my time there. We need one in San Jose, CA!
Entertainment was amazing, the musicians are extremely talented! I had sooo much fun! Drink prices are reasonable as well.
Recommend to everyone. Pianist are excellent, good humour and they interact with the crowd very well.
I think the musicians here are amazing. I must say, I will never return here for one reason... I requested a song for $20 (sorry I guess I’m poor) and dedicated it to “my beautiful wife...(insert name here)” the musician then dedicated my request to my wife and began to play. During the first verse I here him say to the opposite pianist “$20”. The opposing musician then abruptly smashes on his piano and says “for $50 we have a new request”. I immediately run up and throw the remainder of my wallet’s contents at the pianist. It was $42. He said, it’s only $42, that’s not how we do business. I went on to explain that I had already put $20, that was a terrible thing to do, etc. etc. his only explanation was “I know, I am sorry.if you request it when there are less people here then maybe...” look, The musicians here are very talented but I have never been so upset by human kind.
A fun evening and drink prices were good. The pianists/hosts were lots of fun. The direction of the tables leads to some neck craning for some patrons.
Highly recommended! Great place to have a fun night out with friends. Cant wait to go back.
We were asked to give up our table because the owner had some people he knew, therefore we had to sit in chairs next to a walkway near the iron rail by the bar and constantly had people walking in front of us the entire time 👎 If the owner had guests coming in I feel they could have put signs on tables to reserve them rather than asking others to move!! Flat out rude!!
Its fun & loud! Be prepared to over pay for drinks (they dont even list prices for drinks on the menu). Great for a special event/occasion.
Not only was I overcharged on my card but so was a friend. We both have called and left several messages and have written emails but no response! Apparently its Keys On Mains policy to steal from and ignore their customers! I knew we should have gone to 88 Keys instead. How blatantly disrespectful of a business!
This place was the opposite of what we looking for. Super in your face and annoying piano players, super white songs and performers, definite rape culture vibe with older dudes shouting to young women to get wasted so they could enjoy themselves. Yikes!
Fun for bachelor/Bachelorette as well birthday celebration. Dueling pianist are great as they know a wide variety of songs as well as the words to it. Drinks are great.
Excellent service and entertainment. I had two adults and I don’t believe it was over priced or outrageous in any shape or form. The entertainment was excellent and I’ll be going back quiet often.
Keys on Main Seattle is an amazingly fun place to spend an evening. My wife and I found this pace almost 10 years ago, we live in Canada and never miss an opportunity to come here. Do not miss this place if youre visiting Seattle.
An overall entertaining experience. A laid back vibe with a number of songs that will make you dance in your seat. Drinks and cover are expensive but the entertainment was great.
Music choice and performance was very poor, and the bar was incredibly slow. If youve been to a great piano bar, this place will disappoint.Edit:And then it got worse, they broke out auto tune...
Absolutely a MUST SEE when you’re in Seattle. One of our best nights ever. This is the 2nd time we’ve seen these guys and I’d say it’s even better than the 1st time.
Had a great evening. Wish we could have stayed later. Bring cash if youre not aware of how this works... 🤑
Wayyyyy to loud. Cant emphasize that enough. I could only stay 20 minutes and 3 hours later my ears dont feel right. Talented guys but definitely need to take Back Dat Azz Up by Juvenile off their playlist.
Traveling from Houston and stumbled upon this amazing piano bar. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and it was such an amazing experience.
Had an awesome time here for girls night. Dont really like paying cover but at least it was only $7. Great music and entertainment!
Music was great. However, bartenders seem to struggle with understanding what a High Ball is... 🙊🙉🙈
Great energy, great staff, amazing talent, GREAT FUN, but no food. If you want to eat you have to bring the food with you, or order it. And it is only 5 bucks to get in.
Dueling pianos. What a fun bar. Request any song and they can play it. Very interactive with the crowd. Drinks were about average price but weak.
Amazing performers! Best atmosphere!
What a fun way to spend the night! Its amazing how the pianists can pick up any song and make it sound great. Ill definitely be back for more.
Both musicians were entertaining and talented. My wife and I had a great time. Drinks were delicious.
How do these people know the lyrics to every song out there? These people are super talented and fun on stage, everyone needs to check the piano duels out!
Had my birthday there and they pulled me up on stage. Had a blast! Very friendly hosts/staff!
I had one of my best nights in Seattle there, the whole process of ordering songs was amazing, the guys playing the piano are really AWESOME!!
Tourist trap. Full of what a local called the bridge and tunnel crowd. Its just a medium-sized square box with two pianos in front and maybe 5 or six really large cafeteria tables and a bar in the back. Two piano players entertain the crowd with cheesy covers and antics.
Been here many times, seems to have gotten a lot louder recently. To the point of being deafening. And the staff know this and sell ear plugs. Why they dont just take the volume down a notch is beyond me, it hasnt always been so bad.
Such a fun place for dueling pianos! They also have nice drinks!
It’s a piano bar. Not my thing, so 4 stars is all I could ever give a piano bar...UNLESS, I was surprised to find that Ben Folds, Elton John, and Billie Joel would be dueling that night.
Absolutely love this place for a date night or a girls night out! With its fun atmosphere and amazing pianists you will never be disappointed.
Cant say enough great things about the place and the artists That play there! Love, love, loved it! I left with a hoarse voice from singing all night!
Fantastic entertainment! Pianists are amazing performers and keep the show fun and energetic.
Love this place!! The music is dance-worthy, the staff friendly, and the pianists terrifically entertaining. Two Thumbs Up!!! =)
Bachelorette party went awesome! The piano guys were friendly and fun and could sing just about anything!
Love this place. Its like going to an awesome concert. Singing and having a blast
This was the first bar Ive been to in Seattle and it was bar far in the top 3 of the best bars Ive ever been to. Great people and great service. Overall a great bar. I highly recommend you check it out!!!
Fun place, great entertainment and not a normal activity for people to go do. It was quite amusing with clever banter and witty remarks from the piano players.
Fantastic place for a first date or just to chill. Bar tenders are amazing, drinks a fantastic and the show is a blast.
Such a fun night! The artists are unbelievable. Will definitely come back!
Great vibe, wish the decor was better
Entertainment was wonderful, service was non-existent and never even checked in with our table.
Id never been to a piano bar before. It was a great time.
You will have a great time here. Everyone there was enjoying it.
Really fun place to take a first date, a bit crazy that you have to pay extra money for the pianists to play your song though
Looking for a good time... Go somewhere else. Looking for the best time, this is the place! The staff and players both get the crowd rolling on the floor w/ all sorts of fun.
My birthday party was so much fun. I loved how lively this place is and will most definitely come back in the future!
Fun place. Great performance by the piano players!
Great night. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much. Highly recommend it! Good, strong drinks too.
Meh! It was okay. I was hoping for more of a dance floor rather than fully seated. Talent was good, vibe was not.
Unprofessional, lazy staff. Dont spend $15 a drink here! Go anywhere else downtown Seattle and you will have a better time.
The way the pianists interact with the patrons is amazing. Ive never been in a piano bar where they do it quite like they do it here.
Zac(k) is the king. He made my out of town Detroit visitors very happy. Highly recommend.
Their weekends are the most fun i had in years .... you should just come in and sing along with the guys playing the keys ... its awesome
A great piano bar. The musicians know how to play the crowd. It is definitely a group activity
The pianists were great, very talented and very entertaining! Drinks were a bit weak, though.
One of my favorite places I went to during my trip to Seattle. Even when crowded the service was quick and the bartenders were friendly.
Awesome time. Talented artists, tons of fun. Make sure to bring some cash (cover + requests!).
This place was so much fun! The two guys playing piano were hilarious and the drinks were strong!
Love this place piano players are great .If your lucky to have Kim as your server you wont be disappointed shes the best.
The musicians are incredibly talented. Fun atmosphere. Dancing encouraged.
Absolutely worth the charge to get in. This was definitely top 3 most enjoyable things in Seattle.
So much fun, great entertainment and super staff.
Fun atmosphere and fun to sing along with the pianist!
Amazing place. Just get into it and sing along, trust me youll have a blast.
So much fun, talented staff and I loved the that it was full of all different age groups!
Good experience . music was fun very entertaining will recommend this venue to all my friend
Amazing! So talented and entertaining, me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time :)
