I am so happy to continue to visit her at Azure Dream Spa. She is Arlingtons best kept secret, but I cant help but write a review! Kristina truly understands skin on another level and takes a personalized, honest, and detailed approach to skincare. Its hard to find someone who has a gentle touch, doesnt try to sell you on what you dont need, and is skilled and experienced enough to give your skin exactly what it does need.My skin would not be what it is without her. One facial with her is worth a bunch of facials elsewhere, but committing to a regular facial routine with Kristina is the best decision you can make.

The space is super pretty and clean, the team is really sweet, the spa is in a great location (I love that theres a parking garage next door), and Im LOVING my microblading service! ..the new shape and added fullness really suit me. It was reassuring to learn that they have been in the business for 20+ years. Its always nice to relax and trust the experts!The photo of my brows is a couple of days after the appointment, but the brows will go through a transition period of fading and settling into the final color (it wont be this dark).

Azure is wonderful and I highly recommend it!! The ambiance is so lovely in there. I’ve gone for two deep tissue massages in the past and just had my first underarm laser hair removal session. The massages were honestly the best I’ve ever gotten— the pressure was super intense at times, but that’s exactly what I wanted and my back felt like new after. My experience for the first laser session was also super positive. It was very quick and relatively painless. I felt super comfortable the whole time and had all my questions answered.

Highly recommend Azure Dream Spa. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. The stress relief massage is incredibly relaxing, and after only a few visits the massages completely melted away back pain that I had been struggling with for months. The massage therapists are communicative and thoughtful, with multiple therapists even offering up suggestions to continue self care at home in between massages. I also had my very first facial here, and Azure was very helpful and patient, making sure I knew exactly what to expect. It’s so lovely to have a place like this within walking distance of home. I highly recommend Azure Dream Day Spa! I use both their massage and electrolysis services. I see Tanin for 90 minute hot stone massage on a regular basis. She is the best massage therapist Ive ever had as she is very skilled, extremely sweet and uses new techniques in each session that seems to hit a new level of relaxation and stress relief. I see Leila, one of the owners, for electrolysis. Leila is very professional and skilled in her work and knows how to maximize the effects while also minimizing any discomfort. Every session she makes me feel comfortable and safe. Additionally, the spa is beautiful and clean and their staff are all really nice, so you feel relaxed and pampered as soon as you walk in.

This is the best place to go for laser! The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and answer any questions. Their space is also so beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I came in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Shin and it was incredible, so much so I booked an appointment for my mom for the following week. Thought it couldn’t get better, but after I had a laser consultation with Nicole that was the icing on the cake. I had laser a few years and I noticed hair growth on my bikini area and under arms that needed a touch up. She was able to do it directly after the consultation, and it was soooo much LESS PAINFUL than I remember it being. She is beyond skilled. Thank you Nicole!

I had such a relaxing experience at Azure! I booked the 60 minute Deep Tissue massage with Yana. I was Able to fill out my forms in advance so once I got there, I was immediately taken to my massage. The facilities are super nice and clean. They even provide refreshments once you get there. My massage exceeded my expectations. I like a firm massage and Yana did an incredible job! But, more importantly, the services are first rate. The facialists and massage therapists will instantly put you in relax mode. Do yourself a favor - go for a 90 minute massage. The therapists are strong and knowledgeable and will work the way you prefer to leave you feeling great. Your skin will look amazing after the facial and you will feel wonderful. And while youre here, deal with your hair removal by wax, thread, electrolysis, or laser and then go for a manicure. Azure has it all. I recently indulged in the Deep Blue Getaway - its just the thing for a dreary winters day to take you away. I cant recommend Azure enough. Enjoy!

I have been going to Azure for years and have always had EXCELLENT experiences. I cannot recommend Azure enough and my go-to gift for friends and family is alway a gift certificate here. I love the staff there and they all genuinely feel like family. I have gotten laser hair removal, eyebrow waxing, facials, and massages at Azure.-Rezvan does my eyebrows and I’m legitimately stopped by strangers at least once week to be told that I have amazing eyebrows.-I’ve had facials with both Rezvan and Farah and they are AMAZING. You will leave relaxed and glowing. Also you cannot beat the price point for facials in this area. I’ve had much more expensive facials and they were not even close to being as good as my sweet angels, Farah & Rezvan.-I have had massages with Tanan and Shin and both are so skilled and you will leave wishing you booked a longer massage. Tanan was truly the only reason I did not go insane during pregnancy, best pre-natal massage ever.Love this place so much and when I do have free time I am always choosing to spend it here!

I use Eminence skin care brand at home now too because of the recommendations from the gals at Azure. I have a difficult work schedule, but they graciously work with me every time I call to re-book. Ive gotten massages from Jenna, Desiree and many others there throughout the years, all have been incredibly relaxing and effective in treating my muscle aches. Ive also gotten facials from Farah, laser-hair & tattoo removal, and vascular treatment from Farnaz and Leila with amazing results from all procedures. Unfortunately Ive moved away but I make it a point to stop by every time I come to town. For my first experience at Azure Dream Day Spa I cant say enough about the positive experience I had. I went a few weeks before I had to have a hip replacement and the massage with Tanan was so good that I actually walked out of there without any pain in my hip at all. I also had a facial with Ina and it was superb. I am going to go back this weekend for another massage and I cant wait.

My close friend got me a giftcard for my birthday as she loves this place and wanted me to try it. I got an hour swedish massage by Aleli and she was fabulous! I have never been to a high end spa before and all the extra little details they did blew me away. I had a lot of knots and tightness in my shoulders and after she thoroughly got rid of those she applied a heating pad afterwards which felt amazing! She listened to my body and applied extra pressure when needed. I now understand why my friend loves this place and I will be back!

Azure is fantastic! Their website makes it easy to learn about each service and budget in advance. Their scheduling team is also very easy to work with.I had four appointments here for electrolysis. Kat was my aesthetician and she was not only efficient and thorough, but shes also kind and funny and made sure I was comfortable throughout.Laser is great for areas with open margins, but I prefer electrolysis for brows or anywhere you want to be very exacting about the shape and which hairs get removed. Over the course of my sessions, we knocked out each growth cycle as it grew in. Im really pleased with the results. Im already planning for my next visit.

I absolutely love this place! Clean environment and friendly staff. Leila was very informative and knowledgeable about the entire process of electrolysis. I would definitely recommend. Also, everyone has a different level of tolerance for pain, but for me it was mild to moderate depending on the area being worked on. Moderate for upper lip and mild for the chin area. Overall, great experience!

Farrah is the best!! This facial was amazing! My skin is super clean, fresh, and dewy! The shoulder massage is an added bonus! I wish I could have my face washed this way every night!

I have been looking for electrolysis for a long time in this area and actually tried a lot of places. No one comes close to Leyla. First of all, she has a national certification and it shows. Her technique is amazing. Since you pay by time, it is important that one works efficiently. Leyla is fast and effective! She is excellent And the spa is just beautiful and very clean! I have been going to Azure for a while now for laser hair removal and it has been an absolute game changer!! Barely any hair growth left and such an easy process. The entire staff is always friendly and accommodating, they are always able to squeeze me in when I call for a last minute appointment! Nicole and Morgan have been great!!

I’ve come here for several treatments including a hydrafacial, deep tissue, and Swedish massage. The front desk is super welcoming and while I don’t see a specific massage therapist or esthetician everyone always asks me what I want out of the service and I have never left with any complaints or disappointed. It’s a really high quality service at a high end medical spa ! I had a second session of Morpheus 8 procedure with Nicole today and I have to say that the results of the 1st one a month ago already exceeded my expectations by “thousands of miles”. Now after a second one I will age reverse full force🤪Her equipment is the latest one, be careful there are many adds there and not all are Morpheus 8. Nicole is absolutely the best on personal and professional level !

I had a great experience with the nurse who administered my Botox at Azure! I had been multiple times for facials and massages with my mom and we loved it, so I thought I’d give it a try! Excited to have finally found a place I love in the DMV for my med spa needs and can’t wait to go back!

I love coming here because it’s like a little oasis in the middle of Ballston. Every service I’ve had has been wonderful. I recently had a massage at the Ritz and it did not even come close to the deep tissue massage I just had with Tanan. The ambiance and facilities are top tier and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I was gifted a 60 min massage and so I came in for the first time. I had a wonderful experience. The facility was very clean and modern. The front desk staff were friendly and offered me water and asked if I needed anything else beforehand. The masseuse Shin was super polite and professional. We started right on time (although the waiting room I was in when I arrived was very cute and had water and coffee available). I got a deep tissue massage and Shin did a wonderful job balancing relaxation and really getting out the knots in my muscles. I will definitely be back!

I had the BEST facial at Azure! When I came in, they spoke to me about my skincare concerns and needs. They took the time to build a customized facial to meet all of my needs. It included a little bit of everything: microdermabrasion, chemical peel, hydration, dermaplaning, and massage. As a result, it left my skin glowing. It has allowed my skincare products to really sink in and my makeup sits on my face flawlessly! Look at the results! In addition, the staff are supper attentive and the salon in gorgeous. 10/10 recommend!

This facility is located in a beautiful small building among a block of high rises that have brick facings and has a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere. Water, other beverages and high quality snacks are available.What first brought me to the owner, Layla, before she owned this business was her license in electrolysis. And that keeps me going there because there are very few licensed electrolysists in the area and she is very good at it. I eventually also had laser hair removal done including bikini area but now most of my remaining unwanted body hair is white for which laser does not work. Rezvan, the laser technician is very patient with clients like me who dont take pain very well. Layla also makes a special effort to minimize the pain of electrolysis for sensitive clients by moving around so that one area doesnt get very uncomfortable.Azure is trans welcoming, LGBT friendly. I have seen clients there who were Black, Asian and White and all were treated with respect.Azure is walking distance from the Virginia Square Metro Rail station. Stepping off the escalator walk straight. Then turn onto 9th street which you walk along past a beautiful slate Episcopal Church and between unusually soothing looking high rises to the short white building on the left side of the street that houses Azure.Desiree, the office manager, is a very pleasant person and so are the receptionists. Brenda is the one I have dealt with the most.

I have been going to Azure for years. I’ve done Morpheus 8, facials, massages, Botox, hair cut and color… just about everything. I’ve tried other places now and then but I always go back to Azure. They have the absolute best services and staff. I can’t say enough positive things about my experiences at Azure. They’ve moved locations and the new facility is stunning and artfully done. This is a very high quality spa and, from my experiences, they are very honest with any recommendations. They don’t just say “you need XYZ” and try to run up a bill. (A lot of places do that). They actually listen to their clients and give honest advice about prioritizing certain services. This place is probably the best in NOVA. The owner is always on-site and for some reason that makes me feel that they absolutely require 100% quality, 100% of the time. I love Azure. It’s money very well spent.

As a black women it’s been a long long struggle trying to find a place that actually knows how to treat melanated skin types. That is until I met Nicole Farnaz at Azure. Farnaz is such a caring esthetician, she actually strives to make her clients get the best out of each and every session. I feel at peace each time I see her and more importantly I can actually see results. I have yet to encounter an esthetician that is as knowledgeable as her and am truly happy I finally did.

Finally, my Mom decided to get her eyebrows done. She was afraid to look unnatural at her age, she didn’t want to look ridiculous. So, I arranged an appointment with Rezvan. She was very nice, and honest person. She explained to us with details what eyebrows microblading is, post care instruction, etc. After a week, my Mom saw the results and she is so grateful with the outcome. Therefore, and because she was so satisfied with everything thus far, she also requested the upper eyelid semi permanent eyeliner. Today, she looks so happy and beautiful. Thanks Rezvan!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience here. I went in for electrolysis and they convinced me to get laser instead. After the session, my hair grew back about 5x worse. Not only does it look like stubble, it’s also growing in places where it never grew before. I sent them pictures for next steps and never got a reply. Very disappointed because now it will take me much longer to get rid of this unwanted hair.

A friend recommended this place and I’m so glad she did. Aleli did the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. She clearly knew exactly what she was doing and was able to attack my trouble spots. Will definitely go back.

I was very comfortable receiving services here because of how attentive the employees were to Covid protocols. They checked my temperature when I arrived and everyone was wearing masks. I noticed the front desk receptionist was cleaning surfaces when I was walking in. She was very friendly and welcoming. I had a really relaxing hot stone massage here before, as well as a very calming massage by Jenna. Other times in the past I had very professional laser hair removal done, as well as a pleasant facial by Farah. Overall the experience is worth it, I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a calming massage, thorough facial, or laser hair removal.

First of all, I want to say that the place is really nice and luxurious and I love the look and feel of it. My first time there I started with a hydrafacial with Farnaz and then came back a few days later to start some Morpheus treatments with her. I was very pleased with my results so far and can’t wait for my future treatments. Farnaz has such a great understanding of the skin and body. I also particularly like all the variety of services and treatments the spa has to offer.

My permanent makeup is beautiful. A huge thanks to Farnaz for her work of art in transforming my eyes with microblading and permanent eyeliner. I have received many compliments, yet the biggest came recently from my iLasik surgeon. He has seen many eyes in his 30+ year career and shared my permanent makeup was one of the best he had seen.

I started coming to this spa because they use only Eminence organic cosmetics. Ive had facials with two of their estheticians and both did a great job. My main concerns are extractions because I have sensitive skin that needs a lot of cleaning. They both did an awesome job cleaning my face without any pain or scars. Also I find it very relaxing not to be pushed to buy products. They are happy to make recommendations and provide samples but are not pushy on purchasing anything from them. Great local find.

Highlights: Calming atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, great services/products, and most importantly Ive been noticing amazing RESULTS!So I started getting my bikini area lasered with Leila a while back and it had worked so great that I started doing the rest of my body. My body hair had been driving me insane before I started laser. Its been the greatest investment Ive made since I no longer have to worry about shaving or waxing. I was looking for a girls day out with my long time friend while I was visiting the DC area. We both had the aromatherapy massage. It was one of the best massages Ive ever had (& my friend agrees). The masseuse did an excellent job getting tension out of my neck and shoulders. I highly recommend Azure Dream Day Spa!

Im just disappointed - this was my birthday gift to myself and I wanted to try a new spa. Everyone was really kind, but I didnt have a 5-star experience.Everything felt rushed and fast – it was hard to relax. The transition from the facial room to the massage room felt harsh, as they were on opposite ends of the hall – I was given a robe, but no slippers so walking on the floor barefoot felt gross. When the massage therapist was rubbing my feet, all I could think of was how they were just on the floor on the walk over.I know worn-down Air Force Ones are a fashion trend for some, but in the spa they seem... unprofessional???

Glad we finally made appointments after passing by this spa so many times. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the team that works here is all professional, skilled and dedicated to their work. We had micro derm facials with Farah and massages as well. Everything was excellent.

I have been meaning to have hair removal on my face for years. Leila was great at discussing the differences between electrolysis and laser and which would be best for me. After the first session I noticed a significant reduction in hair growth from laser. Now electrolysis is working wonders on some left over blonde hairs.

Both Aleli and Ken are master massage therapists. Technique, ambience, and overall customer service has been excellent. I highly recommend Azure Spa.

Hosted a birthday spa day here with two of my friends, after our services they provided a lovely snack plate and mimosas in a beautiful set up. they were very conscientious about covid and keeping us and others safe by arranging an early time so that others wouldnt be coming in. Even though some clients did end up having appointments and we tried to be quick, they never made us feel rushed out. very welcoming and services were amazing! we got body scrubs, very relaxing + worth it

Farnaz is the most lovely technician. She is kind, so knowledgeable and a great consultant on so many things. If you need something and she is able to do it then you should make it happen.

I am currently undergoing electrolysis treatments at Azure Dream and my experience has been excellent. Leila is a highly skilled electrologist and her treatments are very effective. Her practice is very clean and comfortable and she is patient with answering questions for new clients.Being transgender and seeking services like electrolysis can be anxiety inducing, but Leila and her staff are LGBT friendly and she is sensitive to trans-related issues.I cannot recommend Azure Dream enough, its truly exceptional.

The services are amazing and the staff is outstanding. It takes a lot for me to trust someone with my face, but Leila and her team have my complete confidence. I came in for electrolysis on my chin with Desiree and eventually Leila. Then later did a facial per Leilas recommendation to unclog my pores and the rest is history! My skin in smooth and chin almost hair free. As a woman of color I have hyperpigmented areas that I have come to ignore over the years, so I am currently doing recommended (IPL) Viva sessions (and Magic Fix facials in-between) to work on the discoloration.Overall, after 3 pregnancies in the last 5 years, I am finally loving and developing a new relationship with my skin. I give Azure Dream Day Spa a 10/10...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

One of the best spas I have been to so far. I have been going for about 7 months now and each and every visit always exceeds expectations. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing, the staff is super friendly and the facility is always clean. Fernaz always receives me with pleasure, she is such a sweet heart and very knowledgeable on the treatments.

As a transgender woman, I feel so blessed to have Azure Dream as a resource for my transition. For as many hours as Ive spent there, it feels like a home away from home, and Ive had a wonderful experience with all services Ive used. While Azure offers great massages and facials, where they really excel is in specialty services. Among these are sublative (painful, but really works in improving the quality of your skin), laser (Ive had done over my entire body and face with excellent results), and best of all electrolysis. Leila, the owner, is a highly experienced electrolysist -- skilled at effectively eliminating hair quickly and with little pain, and no skin damage. Given my gender transition, Ive had over 140 hours of electrolysis by Leila, and am thrilled with how beautiful and hair-free my face has become. Azure is a bit more expensive than their competitors, but definitely worth it!

I had electrolysis done here with Liana.Not only is parking easy, the prices are also very competitive! Liana was AMAZING and I can confidently say shes the most thorough and efficient electrologist Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Would highly recommend!

Ive been to several spas over the years in Chicago and DC and I can safely say that Farnaz Maleki is the best esthetician hands down! Ive had microneedling and Venus Versa skin resurfacing and both turned out great! My skin looks much better just after each of those. I would advise to use a lot of the numbing cream. The Venus Versa did not even hurt at all. The microneedling is a bit painful but not unbearable and Im a baby with pain. Farnaz is very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. She did a great job doing a consultation to recommend a good treatment. She checks in during the treatment to make sure it isnt too much or too uncomfortable. She also gave me some great skin product samples.

I have come here for a few services and each time it has been a great experience. Not only are the staff super friendly, but they offer so many services that you really can spend all day here. It is super clean, the services are great, and it is in such a prime location being right in the middle of Ballston. I highly recommend any service, and I will definitely be coming back here to try more!

My husband got me the Aroma Forest Dream combination, and it was wonderful. Joseph gave me a wonderful massage, and I got my first ever facial from Farah, who was great! I will say, it is quite expensive, but maybe thats just because Ive never been a part of the spa scene, so I have no idea what a facial normally costs.

First time going to Azure, at its beautifuland convenient new location near Virginia Square. Mitzi (for a pedi) and Rezvan (for a hydrofacial) were really fabulous. I appreciated there were no pushy sales tactics like at some spas in Tysons. Can’t wait to come back!
