Ive been line dancing on and off since I was 8. I give 3 stars only for a few things. The music is a little loud for my taste. Ive been to places where the music is about half that volume of this place. The dance floor seems a bit small for the crowds this place brings in. Another thing, this is supposedly a country bar/nightclub, but barley any country music is played. At least not older country. Last thing, security seems a little up-tight for a place like this. A few of them dont seem to enjoy people very much, I understand youre security, but you shouldnt make people feel uncomfortable. This is just my personal opinion. Bar staff seems pretty friendly. The gentleman who does lessons does a really good job. Again, this is just my personal opinion.
I had a BALL!!! I jumped right onto the dance floor and I didnt know anything! The people were friendly and gave me instructions. Word of caution: Its HOT! Dont wear pants!! I shouldve worn shoets and a tank. It was So Much FUN!!10/10
Awesome place for line dancing. Lessons several times per week and live band on Saturdays. Great atmosphere, friendly crowd, and huge dance floor. Highly recommend.
My wife and her friends like line dancing. Great local place. Bartenders are friendly, fast, and accurate. Food from the grill is tasty. Good selection of food, good appetizers, and you can get tater tots with your burger.
Had fun... it was definitely packed on Wednesday dance battles and line dancing... drinks were cheap and great... would definitely recommend and go again
Staff is horribly rude. Dancing is fun but the staff is so rude. If youre a bad dancer they kick you out because they think youre drunk. I heard this place was amazing but that’s not the case… Should really hire smarter bouncers and get rid of the air heads.
If you want to go to a place where a bunch of young girls get hammered and creepy old men this is the place for you. Unfortunately, they are quick to ban females at this place as well while the creepy guys can do as they please without consequence. Highly do not recommend.
Some bouncer focused in on us. So we ate and then left. When we got there, our friend pushed two tables together, waited for us to arrive and then left to run some business errands. A bouncer came up to us, telling us we could not have the tables pushed together, safety issue. We pulled them apart. My husband sat at one table, I sat at the other. Then friends (of our friend) started to show up. I left them that table and joined my husband. We ordered food - were eating and watching the dancing. That same bouncer showed again and yelled at us as one of the girls (that were at the other table) pulled over a stool from another table. Both my husband and I were a little confused, as we were off by ourselves and not even interacting with these ladies (they were friends of our friend, we didnt even really know them.) One of the ladies moved back the stool and my husband asked could he finish his dinner. Bouncer snapped yes and walked away.My husband then goes out for a quick puff and overhears on their radios that there maybe a problem on the northside by the bar. Next thing we know there were 5 men showed up and separated themselves, to each entry way and the bar area behind us.My husband used to be a bouncer so he knew what was going on. He got an additional beer and I could tell he was irritated at the new found attention. We tried to enjoy the dancers but then we just decided to leave. The bouncer near the steps, jumped to attention and was staring down my husband.Wow what an uncomfortable evening. The sad thing is we didnt do anything and we got focused on. It was our first time there and will be our last time. It ruined our entire evening, Happy Valentines day!!
Supper place for parties and good time. We celebrated our friends birthday, loved this place. Definitely will come back to learn more line dancing 🕺 🙂
Came in and sat down at the bar on a Tuesday (karaoke night). The bartenders were just standing around not doing anything. Sat there for 5 minutes they didn’t even look at my boyfriend and I. Decided to leave. Never been her before but definitely won’t be back.
Loved it! Went in a Wednesday and it was ladies night so I didn’t pay to get in and it was fun to watch people dance country music. 🎵
Great vibes, tasty drinks, and amazing music! Its the perfect place for line dancing.
The band Summer Sun nearly put me to sleep. Place normally has a good energy, but this band needs red bull and coffee, and to turn their metronome up to at least 110.
I did not try the food. We came with 16 people for dancing and drinks. Service was 50/50 at the bar. The female servers behind the bar were awesome. The guy at the back bar could clearly see you are there for drinks but would leave. Take a break. Walk away. They have dance lessons for beginners and work their way up about 5 line dances total to a more experienced dance. Then it’s dance time. The beginner’s step to the sides and let the experienced take over. You can join in anytime. I recommend it for all levels of dancers. There are various activities around the bar too. Beer pong, connect four, and giant jenga to name a few.I’ll go back for sure.
I have a lot of fun here. I can not rate the food or drinks. But the atmosphere is fun and a live band every Saturday is great.
Got to do some good ol’ country line dancin’ for the first time and to be honest I loved it!A lovely instructor named Kevin taught the dance floor (which was packed) 2 danced throughout the night so even though you may not know many of the dances you can learn those with everyone else. Some of the dances are intricate, while others are simple as 123.Many times I witnessed people not only helping newbies like myself to get the dances, but also cheering us on as we improved throughout the song (e.g., a lovely woman name Julie taught me the Mississippi Bounce and I taught a few people how to do the Wobble🔥💙💃🏽).As the night went on the music diverted from pure country to include rock, hip hop and rap, pop, house music, etc. It was a great experience !They also have fun games like darts, large jenga, connect four, etc.I did not eat food or get drinks besides a delicious cup of orange juice so I cannot comment. One rough thing was that they did not take mobile payment!
The waitress was very attentive & polite. The atmosphere is great and the overall staff makes you feel welcomed. Great place to have a good time!
Love this place. Have been a regular for many years. Mike the manager and bartender is one of the nicest people. Micheal the bouncer is also very kind and has always made me feel safe as a female. There is corn hole in the summer, and they always have giant Jenga, darts, pop a shot, a claw machine, and beer pong. All those are fun but the dancing is the best part! If youre not a fan of country music, just come by after 10:30 for a club like atmosphere ☺️
I cant believe places still do covers these days...If there is one, I expect it to be an extraordinary experience. With that said, it was not.
This was my first Sunday & it was so much fun. It wasn’t as crowded as the other days, which made dancing way more enjoyable!!! Spencer did a great job keeping the music flowing & also getting to all the requests!!!
Slow service. It was a trivia night and it was busy. The waitress came over when we were sat and then I had to flag her down to come back. It took a long time to get our food. Food was cold.
Spencer is a perfect DJ. Glad hes back on a couple nights a week now. Becca is always spectacular. Rylee is a genuine superstar on Wednesdays and the weekends at the back bar. Be sure to recognize Rylee for her effort and hard work to make sure everyone leaves happy. Its usually always calm and welcoming around there. Glad they have such a great GM.
As a longtime Cadillac Rancher, Saddle Up does provide for that nostalgic country western bar for the Chicago suburbs. I wish the DJ provided for more couples dancing, mainly two-stepping. Line dancing is very popular there and draws a nice crowd. Unfortunately theres not enough room to two-step on the outside. The staff are very friendly and service was good. We will be back.
Saddle Up is always a good time! They always have someone teaching them crowd how to dance to whatever theyre playing. I like it but I also get country night club vibes from it, which is fine but if youre looking for more of an actual country place this isnt it
I absolutely love this bar! So much fun!
Dont forget the cover charge $5 befor 11pm $10 after cash only. Had alot of fun, played some darts. Little dancing, played with some giant wooden blocks. Drinks were very reasonable aswell. Great girls night out.
So I’ve been coming to Saddle Up since 2015, before Qbar took over. It has been an incredible experience so far. The dances have made me more outgoing and social. Shoutout to Spencer for always playing Brett Eldredge for me!
Always have an amazing time here! Will inform you that it is not always country music, but is still always a blast!
If you want to line dance, go early. Fun!If you want a nightclub experience, go after midnight. So sad to see so many people vaping on the dance floor.
Started coming here about a year ago, and have loved this place ever since. I always go with Becca the bartender, she is amazing!! Memorized my drink order and always my drink ready before I ask for it. She is amazing!!! Great place
Loved the music, didnt eat there. Staff friendly. Drinks good. Too much line dancing, would prefer open floor but still a great time.
LOVE IT HERE!!! I come here every. single. week.Bartenders are amazing. Becca is AMAZING!! Knows tons of dances and serves a meannnn Pearl Harbor 🫶🏽-Ashley
Always a good time! I love this place. Wish they had more seating though. It’s free before 8pm!
Becca is the only bartender I use. She always takes care of me right when I walk in and has such a friendly demenor about her. Shes absolutely one of my favorite parts about going to saddle.
We love coming line dancing here! Our favorite bartender is 100% Becca! She always knows our drinks and has the best service!
Becca is a great bartender. When I walk in and go by where she is stationed, she knows exactly what I want to drink. The food is really good here. Never been disappointed.
Holy Moly! This place is AWESOME! so much character and super entertaining. This band.....hillbilly rockstarz was amazing. All the line dancing. The cowboy hat....sheeeeeesh! Totally would go back. Bartenders were meh. Food was bar food... not great, but not bad.
Had my car towed for being parked 1/2 a tire on a parking line from their lot. Mike the manager claimed they made an announcement which no one heard over the music and line dance instructor.Who has a car towed from a free lot for having a tire on a parking line. Never going back and contacting lawyer as no signage for towing if your tires on a parking line seems a scam! Photos to come from the towing company that also could not believe it!
First time here and within the first 30 seconds I had encountered belligerently drunk people who always was seemingly off drugs. Got pushed and shoved and an elbow thrown purposely into my back SOON as I walked in!!! Not a friendly environment, too packed, seemed like fights just waiting to happen. Will never return and 0/10 would not recommend going here to anybody else. Highly Disappointed.
Came in got a beer. Been waiting for 20min and no service! The young girl on duty will look in my direction and then look away..
This place is our new favorite place to go. Love the dancing, the outdoor atmosphere, the music, the drinks and the food. Pricing on food and drinks is exactly right. Cant wait to go back!
I went for a birthday prty, we had such a great time, service and food was really good and the Coutry dance classes were so much fun!
Love the bar as a whole, I always look forward to the nights with DJ Spencer, good at taking requests and is a very nice guy, always down for a good time no matter what day of the week, the bar tenders are really fast and never messed up my orders, very organized, despite being busy most nights they’re always on the A game.
Some of the most disrespectful people I have ever met. I went to celebrate a friend getting married the next day and have never been met by such rude and disrespectful security at the door. They didnt recognize my out-of-state license, which I understand, but was with a large group where everyone else was also out-of-state and significantly above drinking age. After running my card 3 times and it being fine, then calling over 2 more security guards, they proceeded to vandalize and destroy my license, by pulling the plastic layer off that many states have started to add for protection. It took the color off of my license and ruined the edge of it. A friend made a joke like, there are other states other than Illinois, meaning nothing by it and the security guard said, well if your friend is going to mouth off to me, Im not going to look at it any more, you can leave. Anyways, will never go back and would advise anyone against going if they are going to treat people like that.
Pizza, pasta, chix strips. Sub par for sure. Nice man behind the bar. The dance instruction was nice. But I would never come to eat here again.
I only went for the band because it isnt my normal type of place. If you like line dancing and country music, this is a popular place.
We went to ladies night last night 12/7. Were aware of the recent reviews related to fraud so we kept an eye on our accounts afterwards. Sure enough our card was charged a total of 5 times and we only had one tab. Super disappointed this place has gone downhill, used to be a big fan. Not sure if its a bad employee or a bad establishment all together but I would not recommend going here.
This place is awesome! A little something for everyone! On top of what they are famous for, line dancing and country, they now have trivia nights on Tuesdays and Salsa nights on Thursdays. I love going for salsa nights. Dj Vampiro knows what he is doing! The entire staff is great and make sure you get served by one of the best bartenders, Cordell ;)
Went in with some friends went to get a drink didnt get what I asked for and when I asked about it I was insulted by the bartender repeatedly before she went to grab a manager. The manager was nice but didnt do anything for me so I was out money and a tip that they didnt deserve. All I wanted was an apology for the insults and I didnt even get that. If I could give 0 stars I would but 1 will do. I would like to note majority of the staff is nice the place is cool and music is good but this experience just left a bad taste in my mouth.
Went with 1 other couple. We had never been here or knew anything about The Saddle Up. There is a cover charge of $5.00, unexpected but worth it. We all had a great time! Food was very good. Great drink menu and a large cooler of water for everyone that is dancing. The dance floor was constantly busy. Great country music and watched great country dancing. They do offer dance lessons, which I would definitively need them. All in all we enjoyed our new find!
Not a bad bar, but not a particularly great one either. Not sure why there was a cover charge when the atmosphere of the place has a lot to be desired and its missing some staples of a country bar. I noticed for a highly diverse community as Aurora, the place seemed exclusively white. Also, they have a sign posted on the door saying Because of government handouts, no one wants to work anymore. So, its obvious they also dont use that cash you pay to pay their staff a decent wage either.
Staff is super friendly. Great beer prices. Never ordered anything I didn’t enjoy
It was super fun and definitely will come again!
Everyone there is the best, really makes you feel like family, special shout-out to Becca and Hailey! Line dancing is always a blast.
The best damn bar . Spencer is a killer dj and listens and appeases to the audiences requests which is refreshing ! I’ll never stop comin here
Went there wednesday June 22 2022. All good, had a great time.Friday comes around and Im randomly charged 54$ that night on my debit card.... I was in bed Friday night.I have my card with me, its always in my wallet. I only used it to open a tab. I tipped but only 20% as you should. That 20% even if it dragged to show up was NOT 54$. PAY WITH CASH!!! and of you dont, please check your bank accounts even days after you leave ...someone here is up to no good
The female bartenders are very rude to the customers and swear at them. Its happened to me on multiple occasions at this place. They have free reign to treat customers however they want, with no consequences from management. The only nice bartenders are the male ones. When I go here, I go out of my way to only get drinks from the male bartenders, because they are the only ones who act professional and courteous. Its a shame that management lets their business operate this way. Maybe they just dont know how to make their female bartenders behave better?
Fun place to go watch or do some line dancing. Great atmosphere. Prices are decent
Ive been going here to learn country dancing for almost as long as theyve been open! Great place to learn and great exercise! If you are going to learn get there by 7 and put yourself in the mide of the floor. There are lessons every night. If youre going there for the night club atmosphere, wait until after 10pm,thats when the music changes and the crowd picks up. Before then its mostly country and the focus is on line dancing!
Becca the bartender is exceptional! Great service, great food and great dances. 10/10 would recommend on coming to see her at
Seems more like a Zumba class kind of place.
Went there for the first time and was intimidated because I hate country music and stereotype line dancers, but boy was I wrong. They actually played country, hip hop and pop after 10:30pm. If you don’t know a line dance just jump in and random people help you. The crowd was very diverse too. People of many ethnicities and even lgbt couples. I was not expecting that. I’ll be coming back.
I generally really like this place, but the blonde bartender who worked on Halloween last night was incredibly rude and yelled at us when we were asking for drink prices. This just made getting drinks an uncomfortable experience all night because she was so unpleasant and snappy. Rude staff can easily ruin your night when you just want to go out and have a good time.
Saddle Up has been my spot for the last month or so! Ive been country dancing since 2004 and started out at Cadillac Ranch. It had been years since the first time I had tried out Saddle Up and am so glad I gave it a second chance! This place is the best bar in the area for these reasons:#1. The Dancing. People are dedicated to their dancing! For me, as a dancer for over 18 years, this is very important. They are dedicated, very good at what they do, and fun to watch! It is mostly line dancing. If you get there early, there is more couple dancing but mostly it is line dancing! So if youre single, this is the place for you because you dont need a partner!#2. The People. People here are super sweet! Very welcoming. I dont feel bad vibes from anyone...everyone is friendly and they are also nice to look at! Both the men and women are good looking. I always come with my date but we definitely like to watch! By the end of the night, we are making new friends and dancing with everyone! Its hard to find nice people anymore. If you want to meet cool, younger, nice people, youll find them here!#3. The Energy and Vibe. The vibration of the place is welcoming, upbeat, and friendly. Yes, you can tell who the regulars are but they arent jerks. They are nice and sweet! Being in the dance scene a long time its very rare to find this. (I know you dont know me, but if you are a dancer, you might understand that some dancers are not always so nice as they think they are the best.) That isnt the case here! The vibe is nice and not tense at all! This is important to me!#4. The Food. We eat here every time and the food is good. Yes some might be fried (thats what I order) but its good and its not the only thing they have...its just what I order. Ha!#5. Events. Everytime Ive come here someone is celebrating something. I am actually celebrating my birthday here tomorrow! Employees are nice and not grouchy, they like their job! They act like they care and are sweet. Some other things: the cover isnt bad, the country music is always good (which is very important too), Im not a drinker so I cant speak to that but it seems like their bartenders are good and drinks look good from what I can see. And most importantly theres a ginormous chandelier in the middle of the dance floor that I love to look at. (This is why I really wrote the review, yes, for that chandelier! Kidding!) Its just a fun place. If you come here, you wont be disappointed. I promise!!
Bouncer at this bar is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Wouldn’t let us in as he “smelled alcohol” on one member of the party and wouldn’t let us pay the $5 cover per person to get into a mind you half empty bar. Changed his story probably 5 times as to why we couldn’t be let in. Funny how people inside are drinking and smell like alcohol especially since they literally have beer pong tables set up outside. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and wouldn’t ever go back.
Amazing place if you want to have fun 👍
If i could leave 0 stars i would. Bartender was rude. Didn’t even greet us and proceeded to ask what we wanted with so much attitude. When we closed out our tab she told us next time we had to spend more than $20. Never heard of this before at any other bar. Definitely won’t be coming back. Take your money elsewhere.
Just like all the other recent reviews these guys tried to charge my card twice. The security is creaky racist too but most of them are in this area. Bold move to both be racist and steal from customers
1st time here, pretty fun placeCrowed on Saturday nights
The best place to drink and have a good time!Becca stands out bc she is always smiling and loves her job! 😀
Went here for ladies night/country night and had a blast! Music was on point with many different genres appealing to all. Shot girls did a great job coming around with shots! Drinks were great as well!
Was so excited to be back after covid but disappointed. This is not the same saddle up before. First time I saw people standing in the dancefloor...the band is very good but we are expecting more of cowboys music not metallic music. I mean, come on! Who dances line dance in a metallic songs?
Didnt have food there. Just drinks. It was a good time. I had a blast trying to learn how to line dance. I did try the taco truck and it was amazing.
Incredibly disappointing. It’s a cult line dancers club. If you don’t know the steps, don’t you DARE come near the floor. The folks out there aren’t even smiling while dancing! The worst part— these dances aren’t even to country music so the spectators can’t even sing along or enjoy the ambiance. I was really looking forward to visiting this place, and I was let down— big.
Cover charge was $5 which was not too bad, but without a live show I dont get why they were even charging. Line dancing was fun, and the music was good. The dance floor is large and the service was good. Beer prices were a little higher than others in the area.
This place is absolutely terrible. It is not a country bar. I am here right now and its been 6 songs of hip hop in a row. I did not come here for hip hop. You missed the mark. By the way, I paid $10 cover.Worst. People actually line dance to anything that isnt country. I hate it.
Just checking reviews about fraud. Sure enough my card was charged another 136 dollars. Do not come here and use your card they will steal from you
The owner of this restaurant also owns Q Bar and posted this disgusting sign outside the restaurant saying they’re short staffed due to government handouts. How dare you disrespect American workers while you accept over $115k in PPP loans? Maybe you’d have workers if you pay good wages and treat them with kindness.
Wednesday nights here are the best! Came for my friends birthday, good mix of country and pop music as the night goes on
Great change of scenery. Love the free dance lessons and people. I had a great time! 😊
Becca is a killer bartender! Always smiling and remembers my drinks and name, even when I don’t come for awhile!
I’ve gone a couple Wednesday’s nights. It’s pretty fun but food is consistently sold out and it’s not really that good. The waitress we have is always really kind and fun. She does a great job.
This place is very against people of color. Let alone they don’t allow you in if your hair is a certain way (dreadlocked) which is so crazy to me. The reasoning is “we believe people with dreads smoke weed” WHAT!? I have never heard of such. I will for sure be moving forward with my lawyer on this one. Not only did I get denied because of my appearance but also because I’m being told that i smoke weed, when I don’t. But I’m sure everyone else in the place does.
DJ Spencer is great! Havent danced so much as we have these last two Sundays.
Terrible experience. Our waitress Dixie was rude and slow and for the most part nowhere to be found. Music was not what we expected. If you dont know the steps to line dances all you can do is sit around because they wont play any song that a couple could dance to. Not going back there
I have never been so mistreated. The Head of Security, who claimed to be the General Manager, got in my face and accused me of stealing something off someones table. I had not even been near said table and Im a professional businesswoman, not a hoodlum. He never even apologized when it was found that it was not me and that no one had stole anything. All of the tables in the entire place had been reserved for private parties ahead of time, so there was nowhere to sit even though we had gotten there early. We hung our purses/coats on hooks next to a ledge and someone hung a banner right over our stuff, so we couldnt even get to it.What used to be a fun place to go dancing has now turned into a sub-par, cheesy suburban nightclub with douche bag, power-tripping staff!
Super fun, friendly, energetic atmosphere. If you like country music, this place is a must check out.
I went there so far for the second time this past week since Friday. The DJ whoever his name is refused my request twice in a row for a dance song in a venue where dance routines are regular. However, the DJ tells me he is playing music outside of the standard playlist for whom? Seems like there were some prejudice going on there because this request was made by someone with melonin, in other words myself. The atmosphere was not a problem at all because people going to be people, but if the DJ is going to sneak in tracks out of their playlists for others, then there’s something going on. All I asked was for them to request one specific song yet others get their request on a low profile. I’m not going to this place again spending my money if they cannot play one song that I politely requested as a regular club member there for years. The club staff don’t look out for the people, they only look out for certain people like the latinos and caucasians. When it comes to blacks with decency, they say they can’t request that song but want to give me their business card and check them on Facebook. What kinda stuff is that? How you run a club for the people but want to isolate a certain group of people and take their money? That’s not right at all!!!!!
This place is honestly the funnest place I have EVER been to. I had my 21st birthday here and we rented out the private room and took a bus there. I danced and laughed and drank the night away. Honestly such fun! I am for sure going back because the people and the atmosphere are just amazing!
Cool place to hang out, drink & dance. Diverse crowd. 👍 The secret weapon though is their cook! Order some food while youre there, and prepare to be amazed by their bar food!
Spencer is THE BEST DJ!! He always takes your requests and makes it a blast!
The security looks for any reason not to let minorities in. Any photo ID showing your DOB should be acceptable. He wouldnt let my Mexican friend in with her legal ID and also wouldnt let me in with my FOID card. He asked if I had a license, I said yes but not on me. Then he proceeded to say they dont accept FOID cards. Ive used my FOID card for things like doctors office visits etc...but it doesnt suffice for your Country Line Dancing joint...FOH, me and my Black friends went to Bar Louie in Naperville where the people were much friendlier. The people at the door in Saddle Up used to be welcoming, now the staff treats you with disdain and why are you here looks as soon as you walk in. Ive read the previous reviews and others have experienced racism as well. They might as well put a WHITES ONLY sign on the door. People of Color and our White Allies, please pass on this place!
I havent been here since covid so I dont know the situation but its a fun place to go dance and youll learn a lot and Boot Scootin Judy well teach you some line dances
So here is how it goes... while my sister were dancing and drinking, yah know the normal — and on a side note I have horrific asthma — I begin to notice I am in definite need of my inhaler. And as all stories goes... earlier that day I had forgotten to put it back in my purse. Fast forward... in a panic I call my boyfriend to immediately bring me my back up. I look to the security personnel and ask “can I sit in you freezer?”. Not only did he and his manager immediately rush me back and set me up with a chair in the freezer until my boyfriend could get there with my inhaler, but the security personnel stayed by my side the entire time! Making sure I was doing okay and breathing okay. They offered me water and whatever else (including calling an ambulance) I needed to help me get through my asthma attack until my boyfriend was able to arrive with my inhaler. Thanks to all the staff for that one.
So disappointed with our interaction with the racist bouncers last night. The bouncer refused to allow brother in law who’s an active duty Navy sailor (and also happens to be black) in because he had a jersey on (totally didn’t realize the rules before we went). He took the jersey off and attempted to enter with his T-shirt and was told to walk to Walmart to get a new shirt. All of this was partially understandable until the a group of soccer players (all of which happened to be white) walked up... ALL in jerseys and let it without a blink of an eye. The bouncer even made a comment “this is what I’m talking about”. Even after calling the bouncer out for his actions, he still refused to let him in.My brother in law recently returned from a deployment overseas fighting for our freedom and it is absolutely disgusting watching someone treat him like that. We will never be visiting Saddle Up again.
Always a great place for dancing! Saturday was busy and fun!
Not going to lie, Ive got mad love for this place!!! And Im very happy that Spencer is back on the regular!
7 bucks a shot... if you leave your drink on the bar to dance, the thief behind the bar, long beard convict, will toss it.2 times tonight 02.20.2022Lesson learnedNever again Q
I am usually not a fan of country music but I enjoyed the hell out of it when I came down here with friends. It was also crazy how most dancers here had a country dance for every type of music out there. I just wish they had more lessons though.
Love dancing here! My buddies Spencer, Allen, Adam, and Mike are awesome!
I use to organize a meet up group here and the security team needs a lot of improvements live music Saturday nights is fun.
The best place to line dance with the best DJ Spencer! He plays everything you ask for!
I love the country dancing. They teach you how to line dance. You just gotta find a dancer who will help you learn. Very friendly and positive atmosphere!
Had a blast and will be going again
Awesome line dancing!!! Awesome food!! And just an awesome place to hang out with friends!!!!
Spencer is a great dj and everyone should come out!!
My wife and I love going here!!! We try to go at least once a month. We would go way more often if it wasn’t an hour drive to get there. But hey, totally worth the drive to this place.
Best place for country dancing anywhere. DJ Spencer Kaminski rocks!
Fun atmosphere, wont order mixed drinks if we come back they are pretty weak.
Came here for a buddies birthday and had a surprisingly awesome time. Not a big fan of country music and they played a good amount of variety. Definitely a place to dance!
Power tripping security and bouncers are a thing here. Heard them discussing sharing racist remarks about minorities amongst each other. Theres no room for that kind of hate in this world. Take your business elsewhere.
Never go here. I was dancing here late evening yesterday and was surrounded by bouncers. They all laid hands on me while on the dance floor and threw me to the ground. Then threw me out, all this just for dancing.
FRAUD ALERT!!!! Payed my tab of $110 dollars on Friday night. Woke up this morning on a Tuesday of a $61 charge from them. I’m not the only one that has reported this issue. PAY CASH!!!
Friendly people and good music loved the pop music part my favorite music was played. But the website doesn’t say it cost money to get in. It’s five bucks per person. It was a blast though.🤗
Pretty great atmosphere until about 12 it gets a little roudy. Great staff, even better music and line dancing. I will probably return some time this summer
Becca is one of the most amazing and motivated bartenders I ever met.
Such a fun and energetic place. Both staff and customers willing to help while on the floor.
Dan is the nicest and best dancing bouncer I’ve ever seen
First time visiting the saddle up good experience staff was friendly the vibe was good and food was very good, just might come back!
Very cool a bit of a drive but great band.
Lesson was for very advanced people and dude started with zero warning. We tried jumping in but he already taught first two moves
If you like country music and line dancing to every song. Then this is your place
I got hassled by security because I was wearing a white T shirt. They asked me to put on a jacket because its against their policy. Meanwhile there are multiple people with white shirts on. Sign on door say No Jerseys but nothing about plain white Ts. I usually had an ok time with previous visits
Had a great time playing bags, maybe Ill try line dancing next time.
Spenser is an awesome DJ. - plays what I like and super friendly
Absolutely terrible experience… the bouncers were extremely Inconsiderate and essentially tainted the vibe and fun of the whole night.
Ivan is the best!! he has our drinks ready super fast!!
My friend had too many beers and left early. Lol. Must have been a great time
I love the couples dances and Spencer plays the most!
Becca is hands down the best bartender/server this bar has to offer
The place is very fan and safe. Its absolutely worth
Spencer is a great DJ, wonderful night of dancing.
DJ Spencer is an amazing and will keep you dancing all night
Well, its like 80% country. Theyll teach you line dances to literally every song... And the songs that have an actual dance? Not even close...
Came here post covid, walked in and was told cover and bar is cash only. I don’t know why this was but any place that only wants cash without disclosure a head of time is not okay.
Fun line dance bar that plays top 40 after 10PM. Decent drink prices and low cover
Great line dance lessons, cheap drinks and top 40 and country mix after 10pm. Great spot!
Amazing place! Great staff and great drinks! Had lots of fun!
It was a fun place with a great atmosphere, but like others have noted, the music can at times be corny and the bouncers are on a power trip.
Went here last week for my wife’s bday had a great time highlyrecommend
Since new owners its been amazing... Really nice ppl here
We love it here. Becca I put favorite bartender!
I love this place because even if I dont know how the line dance goes, I can pick it up pretty quickly by watching!
Spencer is awesome!! He needs to dj more!!!
I always have fun here.
Wow so my ID picture is coming off bc its old. They have let me in before with the same id and now all of a sudden its we cant let you! Wow! You just looked at the same id 3 Wednesday ago and let me in!
Great place for dancing
Cool atmosphere but almost exclusively line dancing so not much opportunity to dance if thats not your thing
This place is not like a typical bar....if you want to listen to country the whole time then go here and like dance the entire time but I wont EVER come back here even over my dead body
Went here on a recommendation. Was fun but I cant line dance. They make it look so easy lol
Food is amazing and friendly people and staff. I came to check it out for the first time on a Wednesday.
Always great times at saddle up, its a gem in my neighborhood
More for younger kids, good line dancing but switches over way too early to disco thump music.
Ivan is the best!!!! drinks ready when i walk in every time!!
If you like country and line dancing this is where you want to be. Great priced drinks
The workout you never thought you would get! we love to go there just to hang out and pretend we can line dance...
🎵 🍷 and good looking women 😍
Great fun place to learn how to line dance.
Great atmosphere, service, and patrons. Looking forward to going there this weekend.
Staff is not very welcoming… and they overcharge for mediocre food.
Good music.... Good dancing environment.... Must visit if you love line dancing n country music
So much fun learning line dances!
Love the atmosphere and the bartender Becca!!
Security sucks. A guy hited me for nothing and security did nothing, they are friends. This is not serious.
Horrible customer service from the manager. Pretty shady place.
Becca the bartender and Spencer the DJ are dope!
Amazing experience!!
Beware if employees don’t like you management will force you out of the establishment because their employees can’t keep it together absolutely ridiculous!!
Great place good music and a very awesome crowd.
Good atmosphere, I loved it on my first time, love the prices.
Wow, this place is huge and looks amazing inside. A fun place to spend time with friends.
Love this place! Spencer is the best!
Fun place, deffinatly for the younger crowd. Great service
Awesome place, great environment, always have a great time there.
They dont accept customers with consular ID and discriminate 4 any reason
I like eveything at Saddle up. Friendly Helpful dancers and staff on the floor.
Amazing atmosphere but not my type of bar
Spencer is a plethora of awesomeness!
Always have a blast when I go.
Always a good time when there is a mechanical bull.
Love when Spencer Djs 😁
Security can get annoying, but so can the people that go there.
Hate this place and love it at the same time. its hit or miss
Love this place!!! The people that work here are very nice and professional!!!!
