Cigars Vera Cruz Lounge

Came to Carlsbad for roughly two weeks for work training. Discovered this lounge and everyone made me feel apart of the family here. I must say it has an excellent atmosphere, wonderful fellow cigar connoisseurs. Mike is very knowledgeable and hospitable. He is always ensuring that the lounge is nice, clean and comfortable. There is a very nice selection of cigars and other paraphernalia. I give Mike and this place a 5/5 and would definitely return if I ever visit Carlsbad again. I recommend anyone visiting to stop in and enjoy a smoke with the wonderful folks here!

This is one of my favorite cigar lounges around! Mike and Sam are absolutely amazing hosts and extremely knowledgeable cigar aficionado‘s. I have been coming here for years and this place has been nothing but class every time.

Great store. Well stocked with loads of good brand names, cigars and accessories as well. Guy at the store was super helpful with recommendations. Got a good discount and a free cap!. What else can I say? Will be definitely coming back! (Sorry that I didn’t get more photos..was excited!).

Best cigar shop in north county. Great ambiance, great people and the best selection of cigars, for all palates and budgets. Mike is truly a cigar sommelier and his hospitality is top notch. The humidor is the best kept one I have seen in all of the county. Keep up the good work!

This cigar shop carries the most premium cigars around. The management staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This place has become a second home and I recommend it to any cigar enthusiasts.

Always a delight. My favorite cigar of the day is the one I have at Cigars Vera Cruz. The guys in there are a fascinating group. The picture below is where I smoke when the lounge is closed.

Been coming to Vera for about a year now and it’s one of the best smoke shops I’ve visited. Mike is very hospitable and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend for the selection and the conversation.

Great selection and good advice. Havent smoked in there but purchased a few times. Nice guy always willing to offer his opinion when you ask. A little over priced but discounts when buying in bulk. Definitely a reliable go to when nearby.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Someone said that the people who frequent this place are to upper class. I totally disagree with him. If it wasnt for low class, these fellows wouldnt have any class at all. Also, that fellow Rudy who comes here quite often likes this place is because we all leave our finished cigars in the ash trays so he has something to smoke.

Great Selection of Amazing Cigars! Cigars are well kept and reasonably priced. Enjoyed a beautiful H. Upman today in the store and it was incredibly relaxing watching a soccer game, chatting with the fellas, and smoking a beautiful stick!

Helpful staff and very chill atmosphere. Good selection but missing a few Great smokes. Thankfully they have avos and perdomo cigars. Comfortable soft chairs you could sit in for hours. I could imagine this is great place to watch football and there’s a great selection of food spots areas.

OMG expensive! I just purchased a travel humidor for $70 + tax. MSRP is $40 come to find out. Wont be going back here. Purchased cigars in the past when I first started shopping around. Now that Ive gone to a couple local shops, this shop is among the most expensive.

This place has one of the best selections in san diego. Prices are what they are, youre buying single sticks, and helping to pay for the storefront, there is no way around that. Price is not something to complain about, and its reasonable throughout most of the humidor. The customer service here is always great, atmosphere is friendly. They have lots of brands including some harder to find my father, tatuaje, and liga privada undercrowns.

Its a Great little shop with large comfortable chairs. The humidor has a very wide selection to choose from. Staff is friendly and make you fell at home.

Great selection, but the environment was somewhat uncomfortable. Everyone there seemed upper class and I got those out of place looks until they realized I hadnt just wandered in by mistake.
