I just left your shop and had a great first experience. I explained my concerns with my previous kits and your guy (sorry, I didn’t catch his name!) helped me pick out the right set up for me and pick out an awesome juice! Not only did he help me get the right system for me, he took the time to get it set up for me, which I have not had at another shop! And he still had me in and out in about 15 minutes! If I could give more stars, I would! Thank you, I’ll be back!

I love the fact that they are located very close to me. I love the juices they sell and the ability to customise just about everything to get the nicotine strength, thickness and flavor that works for you. The one thing I wish was different is the prices on coils are not as cheap as some other places. If Im up for a longer drive Im going to go elsewhere for the coils, but the juice Im definitely getting there.

Really friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Ive gotten juice from a few of the other local shops, and I havent had any this good. Theyll whip up what you ask for right in front of you, with levels of PG/VG just the way you ask, as well as nicotine content. Good price as well. The only place Ive found that does organic liquids for this price, was online, and that had shipping cost (which made it more expensive). So, this is definitely my go-to place now.

I love their selection of juices and they price their juice and products quite fairly. They are extremely friendly and beyond helpful. Ive been to plenty of other shops in the area but this is the one i always come back to for anything i need. The owner has been an absolute gentleman with any questions or concerns i have had. Not to mention the employees are all very friendly and very helpful with everything. I would recommend hydra to any and all people who want to quit smoking or who already vape.PS: To the owner, keep up the amazing work and keep on keeping on! :)

I went in today looking for a replacement tank (mine broke) and came out with the Best EJuice I have ever had! (And an awesome working tank) He asked me a couple questions about what I liked and seconds later like magic I have my new favorite! And they were reasonably priced. Thanks ... You have new forever customer.

Very reasonable and competitively priced mods, tanks, glass, etc. An AMAZING selection of in-house made juice, and some decent mass marketed ones as well (Their house blends are better though). Very clean, well maintained, professional looking establishment. Displays are always clean, floors always vacuumed, windows are spotless, just an all around good looking store that is very well presented.So why only two stars?I don’t enjoy the gentleman behind the counter adding a random $20 to my order and trying to tell me it’s “Tobacco tax” or “The extra cost from house blend flavors/nicotine level”, after I’ve explained I’ve been a regular for a little over a year. You’d think I’d know the prices by memory, and wouldn’t try to pull something so unprofessional. At this point, I only want to do business if I know Kevin is going to be behind the counter.UPDATE: Sorted everything out, cleared up what happened. I will still only do business if there is someone I know fairly well behind the counter.

Today will be my last attempt to make a purchase from this business. In the past year I have attempted to come here four or five times. They have been closed each and every time, this mind you was during their operating hours posted on the door. Today September 1st I attempted to go there and on the door was a sign that read returning September 1st. Lights off doors closed and locked. Also they do not accept credit or debit card. In my honest opinion it seems as though they are trying to go out of business and go out of their way to not sell any product. Dont waste your time

Excellent experience for a first timer! We had done some online research, but it was really nice to have the clerk explain in more detail with us and take the time to help us understand all the complications and possible failures that can come with each system. He took the time to explain all the things that he was doing when mixing the liquid, as well as helping us understand each step in setting up the new device.

The service is great I’ve been to other vape shops but have never been greeted with more casual friendly service. Juices are always made to my personal likes right there on the spot. I travel about 90 miles to the Middleton outlet just because the service is so great.

The juice selection is fantastic. Little name brand stuff, but the beautiful flavors they mix up in front of you are fantastic. The glass is reasonably priced, as are the mods and tanks. This is my favorite store for all the vape stuff I need.

Went in to Try the different flavors, decided to go with a sweet tea. Had the bottles mixed cost me 35 dollars. When i tried them they tasted like lemon juice extract. So i let them steep for a day. tasted the same. took them back to hydra and the guy that mixed them said they had to steep for 2 weeks. I laughed and left them on the counter. I would not recommend this place at all. I had juice mixed at smokes on state and the bottles are larger for the same price at Hydras.And They tasted great. no Steeping required.The staff at Hydras Are not Experienced like they are at Smokes on state. Sorry but Hydras lost this customer.

My partner went in to pick up a Nail for the rig we use it was her first time getting one for me and she got the wrong size went back a hour later to exchange the Nail and the representative told me “sorry all sales are final” which was not stated to my partner as she was purchasing it and was not stated on receipt. Overall bad experience. It’s a shame to cause we live so close and this shop is convenient but won’t have my business again.

The in house mixed juice is very hit or miss. Few weeks back I had a 15ml Blue Moon made up for me and it was fantastic, worked with my new vape great, couple weeks ago I had a 60 ml of I like Melons and that was even better... Beginning of this week I went and ordered a 60 ml bottle of Blue Moon, I figured it tasted great so I might as well get a big bottle this time round. Mistake. In a week, I have burnt through 3 of the 5 coils in my pack. Im certainly not new to vaping, going on a year and a half now, I know the proper priming methods and I showed the employee the mod I planned to be using the juice in. It was mixed poorly. Ill be stopping in today during my lunch to voice my concerns as well. I have half a bottle of juice that is garbage to me and seem to be needing new coils now.Middleton location. The employee that helped me wore Red square glasses and hot topic parachute pants. Didnt catch his name.UPDATE:It has been roughly a year since I left this review. I continued using this location and store. My experience with this location has improved drastically. Several of the regular employees working while I stop in know me by name now. They are more than willing to talk to me about other branches of vaping I might explore. I am no longer using tanks with coils, and am rebuilding my own mods. All with help and advice from the employees.My initial review was harsh, but I think was a reflection of a bad employee with a bad attitude. NOT the store as a whole

Hydra Puff is the one store I keep coming back to. The number one reason for me is the staff. They know what they are doing, and strive for constant improvement. They listen to their customers. Is there a flavor that everyone likes? Well guess what, now it comes pre steeped. You want a custom nicotine and flavor blend suited specifically to your taste and want to no longer smoke? They will get it right. The pricing is always fair, and if theres a reason something is pricier than normal they know why and will explain it. One cannot ask for much more out of a business. The worst that Ive ever had to do is wait in line to buy something because they are busy and Im not going to fault a business for doing well.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful with getting me started on vaping so that I could give up my cigarettes for good, they even helped me stay within my price range, got me a good starter device that fits my style, and juice that should last me for a good long while. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. A quick note for newbies and pros at vaping alike, they hand mix all of their juice so the flavor isnt going to be exactly the same from bottle to bottle but they have a fantastic selection and can even blend custom flavors and varying levels of nicotine for folks that want that sort of thing.Cannot rate higher or I would.

Jesse Jones was super helpful and very personable. He really engages with people in a super friendly way. Prices are a bit high but that is how it seems to be in vape shops. Sometimes cheaper to get equipment online but if I want to buy locally, I will go back.

Great location and selection of quality products. Kevin is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He uses all natural made to order liquids that taste great. His prices by far beat any other store in Madison. I totally recommend shopping in the store or online.

Nice service but I asked for a recommendation on vape juices and was told to get G-spot which is supposed to taste like raspberries and strawberries. I don’t know if they mixed it wrong but it literally tastes like absolutely nothing. I also have mesh coils which means it should be very flavorful but it’s like I’m vaping old water. Wasted $20, kinda disappointed :/.

I have been a customer of the store since day one and let me Tell you, it has gotten nothing but better and better and better.The owner, Kevin I am fortunate enough to see him on a frequent basis because he always seems to be at the Eastside location when I show up which is nice because I greatly enjoy the interaction-plus we both like our bikes.As far as knowledge goes, you won’t find any better out there I remember back when Kevin was building his own mods So if he cannot answer your question, I highly doubt many others could.When it comes to inventory, he’s got tons: sometimes things are on the back shelf or in drawers or simply need to be ordered; there have been several instances where Kevin has offered to work with me to get me the exact product that I want.Actually, just the other day I went over there looking to get a high end sub tank with the availability of a rebuildable deck because I build with SS.Lo and behold, I walked out with exactly what I wanted and was was extremely satisfied with my purchase.Their house juices are amazing, way better deal than what you buy on the Internet as this suppose it brand-name juice for a discount price-I promise you you will regret doing that and here’s why: those juices burn out coils like you would not believe. I have tested this hypothesis on both tanks and Rebuildables and holds true on both.Kevin’s house juices are true to form, great in flavor AND CLOUD PRODUCTION.On a special note, The atmosphere here is just great; stop in and check it out sometime you will not regret it-everyone I’ve ever met there is more than willing to share their knowledge of what they know whether it be staff or seasoned veterans of vaping.Keep up the amazing work guys and gals; you got it pretty well dialed in and as far is Madistan Vapes stores, you are the only one I visit.

Went in on 3/17/18 around 12:30 pm with my Smok stick X8 kit because it will not stop leaking. I explained I researched it and a lot of others with the same model had the same issue. I was told by the young lady working there when I purchased it if I had any issues with in 30 days I could exchange it. The man today replaced the coil after I already told him I knew that wasn’t the issue, I was concerned it would continue to happen. He also tried to say the issue must have been because of the type of juice I was using. I was under the impression at this point that he had no interest in fixing the situation, but to try to get me to spend more money. Upon getting home I discovered the replacement gasket he sold me was the wrong size for my unit. He had no customer service skills or empathy for the situation. As a person who has been in customer service for 15 plus years this is a poor way to handle business. The coil he put in seemed to work but only for another couple hours, (as I had assumed already because that clearly isn’t the issue) I feel like the fix was long enough to get me and my problem out of his shop. Every time I take a drag I get a mouth full of juice. And if I lay it down I loose an entire tank of juice.This morning I put in another new coil and replaced the juice with a 70% it is still leaking. If you won’t do an exchange (which doesn’t seem to be like asking much) I would at least recommend that you note this as an issue with these pens and not recommend them or sell them to others. As this issue is very inconvenient on a product people buy for $50 at your store. Now I have to spend an additional amount of money that I don’t necessarily have on onther vape pen from a different store.

For those of you that dont know, Hydra puff mixes their own juices in the shop. I have been a loyal customer to Hydra puff for probably 6 months now going at least once a week to get juice and or coils.I went in on Thursday 2/1 to get some juice and a new coil. I chose the Skittles flavor. When I got home and filled my vape, the taste was straight up terrible. It tasted nothing like Skittles and more like cotton. Thinking I must have burnt my coil by mistake, I replaced it with another new one and still got the same exact cotton taste. This is how I know it was the juice and not the coil giving off the bad taste.Fast forward to today 2/3, I went in to the shop to ask for a replacement juice. I asked if he could make me another flavor since this one was so so terrible, and he said that he could only make me another bottle of Skittles (I was also only given a 15ml bottle since half of the juice was gone, but it was used in filling the tank on the 3 different coils I tried using. I originally purchased a 30ml bottle). The employee then called the owner to ask what he should do and the owner told him to only make me the 15ml bottle in the same flavor.Being a locally owned business, I expect a lot more when it comes to customer service, especially given the fact that I come here so often. Until the owner wants to make this right, I will no longer be purchasing my vape supplies at Hydra Puff.

Just went to westside store and had a crappy time. Went in for some replacements coils they didnt have what I wanted so I asked about getting a new tank. the employee was unresponsive and sold me the wrong type tank and coil set after I clearly asked for one that would work correctly with my mod. Do to her lack of knowledge or care sold me crap , Ill be coming for a refund. On top of all of this I got the coffee e-juice and its horrible I dont know if its juice or the employee is doing a horrible job. There not many vape shop in Madison and I like to support you guys but not unless you fix this experience i had.

A friend brought me here about a year ago and its the only place I shop. The workers are easy to talk to and understand. The juice is good quality and they make it in house. Good store. Check them out

Small store but what else do you need. Custom juices made to order and the flavor is very good and the guys there are awesome at narrowing down flavors for your vape experience. Good selection of rda and tanks, and they have a good selection of mech and box mods to choose from.

Don’t go here, worst service ever. Spent $30 on a pen that the employee recommended, she even upsold me to it from what I was originally going to buy. Took the product home, couldn’t get even a puff out of it, and noticed a crack on the product as well causing oil to leak out. Took it back to the store and they refused to refund or even exchange it. I tried to get them to at least let me buy some eliquid and take the price of the defective product off the total price and they wouldn’t do it. The employee gave me the owners name and number, I reached out and he gave me the same run around. Don’t waste your time with this place.Editing to reply to the owners comment: if you don’t offer any refunds, or certain products are not refundable, then you should say that on the receipt. The employee says that the owner tells the employees “to tell customers that their purchases are non refundable” but I was told no such thing. Thats why you put that stuff on paper. I’m happy to patronize your competitors in the area 😊

This is a great place.Im from IL, and found it on a trip.You folks up there should really like it.It is really hard to find a great place like what you have up there.The only other place I have found is in In.liked there place and there juice so much, took the time to review it, and I will be ordering via mail from them.Keep going guys!!!!!

Ive been shopping at this store for a while and it is quality juice. I recently ordered juice from them but when it came in the mail a bottle broke. I called the store to say that a bottle broke they said they will send out another bottle for free, they gave me 2 bottles in the mail which was nice. Defiantly recommend this store.

The prices are good... I like the selections and whatnot... but for some reason every flavor I have tried as harsh as hell. I dont know what it is. I only get the 6% nicotine too, so thats not it. I have bought OTC liquids from gas stations and they MUCH smoother. I have even tried the ice cold flavor from hydrapuff and its still harsh as hell. I think there are much better formulas at other places.

I no longer shop any other vap stores. This is my one stop shop for everything I need. They have the best assortment of flavors, equipment and supplies, and all the other things I need for my vaping enjoyment. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. They have given me tips on how to improve the quality and flavor of my vap. I rarely have a wait and when I do, theres plenty of new things to look at and friendly people to talk to while you wait. They run a top of the line establishment.

My first visit there was very good and the person was helpful. However this 2nd visit was a nightmare. The only way I could sample juice was by drops on my finger. Thats a first. And only allowed 1 sample. The person was rude and had his back to me most of the time. I asked if he had a problem with me, worst customer service ever. He said he was just very tired and the heat was getting to him. Sorry that excuse doesnt work for me. I paid $40. And do not like the juice. The the finger taste method does not work. I wont be back.In addition to clarify, I am familiar with paying $1.00 and sampling juices. I asked to do that. He said no because the filters in the mods for sampling are usually bad and you really cant trust the flavor. He wouldnt even explain the types in the phamplet list. He said some of those juices are not good for my device. I have a smok.He mixed a juice saying he would have to guess how to get 3mg, as it only came in 6mg. After drawing some up in a syringe, then pouring other stuff in he shook it. He said if I see something in it looking shimmery to shake it more. It is almost tasteless except for a Crisco sort of flavor. It has flecks of something floating in it. I wont use it. Im not trying to beat a dead horse but honestly this was more than just an annoying problem. The guy wouldnt even give me the coils I use, gave me a pack of 5 of what I really didnt want. He refused to see if I put them in right, but said they should be changed every 3 days if I used it a lot. I was told it is about every 2- 3 weeks. He was the only employee in the store.

Some of the employees that work there are super nice and willing to help you in any way possible. But one day when I went there, I believe the owner was working at the time, and he wasnt even trying to be nice to me, I dont know if he was having a bad day or what but as a person who works in customer service myself, I would never treat a customer the way he treated me that day no matter how stressful my day was. Also, not really a huge deal, but this man had pajama pants on for gods sake..who goes to work in pajama pants?! I dont care if you own the place or not you should look professional if you want people to take you seriously...

Awesome staff with chill atmosphere that welcomes everyone. Unlike most shops in Madison Hydra puff makes you feel like a long time friend and not money walking thru the door. I highly recommend this place to people!!

Kevin is one of the nicest guys in the business. Hydrapuff staff are professional, laid-back, and helpful around. the store is clean, has comfy chairs and a counter top to tinker on your vape, good selection and reasonable prices.my favorite juice is the razzle blazzle.

I quit smoking cigs over 6 weeks ago, the day after I received my first order from Huffle Puff Vapes. Excellent, friendly, honest, reliable, and low cost are just a few words I have for their business. Huge selection of flavors, which I like. I literally spend about 40 dollars a month now, versus 150.00 when I smoked tobacco. My lungs have cleared up considerably. I no longer cough, hack, stink like tobacco. I feel healthier, and have more energy from quitting smoking. I have already recommended Huffle Puff to all of my friends that smoke and want to quit.

We really love his coffee and he has an amazing peach mango juice. There are so many flavors he can mix right there in front of you, He will also steep juice for you if ya just ask him. Great Customer Service! I stopped in to buy a charger for my vape pen.....Kelsie was the women who checked my vape pen and the charger to see that they were compatible. I was waiting for her too tell me a price....however she just gave it to me!!! Very awesome! THANK YOU! Ill be back......

All the juices are high quality and taste great. Went there for the first time about a year and a half ago, and like them so much I now live 3 states away, and order online because I cant find anything that compares to their fluids.

Tried to come in at 5:45 Wednesday 3/17/2021. Nobody was there, nobody answered my phone call, and I’m pretty sure the employee/owner kept answering and then hanging up. Very professional place! Avoid if you actually want to shop! Puff vapor is just up the road and is MUCH BETTER! 👍🏻 Hope they see this and realize how awful of a business they operate! 👍🏻

Would of definitely gotten a 5 star but when I came to get my juice at 11:20 the store wasn’t even opened on time so I had to go somewhere else. And there were about 4 other people waiting to do business here.

Awesome guys, bought .3 ohm coils that would not work with my mod and based on the circumstances and how soon I last purchased them they exchanged it out for ones that would work. Great selection as well, and a nice clean store. Recommended.

I recently moved to the Madison area and I stopped by Hydra Puff just yesterday for the first time. The owner and 3 of his employees were in the shop, and they all treated me with respect. They were happy to share their vaping knowledge as well as welcome me to the Madison area. I bought one of their house blends called Crimson Tail Crunch and it is friggen delicious (this is saying a lot from a guy who hates desert flavors). Because of this, I am excited to try more of their house blends and I would also recommend anyone in the Madison area to try out this shop! last couple things to note: the owner saw my Eleaf was reading my coil wrong, and he gave me a free spacer to fix the issue. The sheer fact that I felt welcome and that they were willing to go above and beyond spoke volumes to me. Havent had a bad experience. The juice I got was great and tastes just like the descriptions. If youre in East Madison or Sun Prairie, I definitely recommend.

Well, it SEEMED like a cool place. I have a fully certified Psychiatric Service Animal. Hes a tiny, sweet-tempered, QUIET toy poodle, whom I always carry in my arms in a store. I walked into Hydra Puff Vapes East, with anticipation. Awesome! Another cool vape store! I can hardly wait.UNTIL they saw my dog.Im sorry, but the dog has to go outside.Oh, hes a Service AnimalSorry, but pets arent allowed in the store.Hes not a pet, hes a Service Dog.Well youre still going to have to leave.If you make me take him out of here, youll be in violation of Federal Law.This was met with a huge, sarcastic smile, and a wide-eyed stare. I met his stare without flinching, until he eventually shrugged. He then went and got the item wed come in for, pushed ahead of THREE people who had already been waiting to be helped, and raced through ringing us up at double speed. The message was clear. GTF OUT! I was neither aggressive nor unpleasant about this. Im quite used to people asking about my dog, who is a necessary part of my treatment, and who allows me to NOT take a number of anxiety meds (which I HATE.) What I am NOT OK with is this persons unwillingness to self-educate, believe a reasonable statement, or be civil during the exchange. My self-esteem is healthy enough that I dont consider myself traumatized by the incident, but that may not be the case with a LOT of other folks with Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals. If it was an honest mistake, no problem. It was what happened AFTER he made the mistake that I find unacceptable. In short, Hydra Puff Vapes doesnt care enough about customers with disabilities to learn the laws pursuant to the Americans With Disabilities Act, or to train their employees appropriately. Hell, even the counter people at McDs are trained better than that. They will NEVER see another penny from me, and I would ask that YOU bring this up to them and ask them to educate themselves properly on how to treat people with disabilities. Theres just no excuse. They are lucky Im a forgiving guy. Others might have chosen to prosecute.

Greatest place in town for juice. Most of the juices are made to order and are super delicious. Very friendly and knowledgeable on both the products they sell and on vaping products in general.

I took my mom here on 12/7 and bought her a vape and the employee who was there was absolutely disrespectful, we had so many questions as this was her first vape and before we could finish our question he already answered with “no” without even looking at us. I bought 2 vape juices for myself and another for my mom and it was so harsh that I couldn’t even use it, the customer service was absolutely the most ridiculous I have ever seen, and he told us all sales are final, not even 10 minutes after leaving the store my moms vape started leaking everywhere, never again will this place EVER get a penny from me and I’ll pass the word on the others as well, I don’t even feel satisfied leaving 1 star.

I quit smoking almost 2 months ago, and I honestly have to say, if it wasnt for the help and support I received from Huffle Puff Vapes, I dont know how I couldve done it! The 1st time I ordered some liquids ONLINE, Double Mint Gum, Atomic Fireball and Spearmint..Spot on PERFECT! So much so, I made the 30 trip from my home in Barneveld, Wisconsin just to actually visit the Shop and get to meet the Juice Master in person! Great prices on your vape needs. The biggest reason I come here is the house made juice, you can customize your juice because they make it to order right there.

Went back after more than a year and quickly remembered why I hadnt returned before. the staff are shooting the breeze with their friends in there and dont even acknowledge you when you walk in. after a while of randomly looking in the display case waiting for help and not even receiving a hi I just walked out.

The guy that was at the counter was very unfriendly and didnt say anything when I walked in. When I asked questions sin CDC e ot was my first time in a vape shop he was very short with his answers. I recommend going to infinite vape in madison where they ate very helpful and informative. It was a disappointment and I wont be back

Extremely intelligent and fun staff. Clean, great pricing, large variety. This was my first visit and I left feeling like family and will be recommending to EVERYONE I know

They are never open, at least in recent weeks. I called Monday to see if they were open, and I was told, Nope, we are open Wednesday. I called today (Wednesday) and I was told Nope, we are open Friday and Saturday. For some reason, I dont believe them. Lost my business.

I went there on Sunday to see that they are temporarily closed Tues, Thurs and Sun. So I go back on Monday, closed! Today, closed! Please update your hours so people dont waste their time.

I will never try to go to that store again because for the simple fact is they are never open even when the hours of operation say theyre oparation sailor open.. Pretty much just a giant waste of time to even stop there

If you vape - this is THE place to go. Staff that answer any question you have about vaping (from beginner to expert). Best part, their juice line is made right in-front of you (and they even wear lab coats).

Guy who has an avenged sevenfold tattoo on his arm told me coco pods were interchangeable then when they proceeded to not work in my juul I asked for a refund and I was not given one. So Im out my money and no pods.

I can only give one star because I couldnt check the shop out. I stopped at this store twice during the posted business hours and it was closed both times with no notification.

The store is never open per what the website says arrived one evening at about 5:30 to 6:00 and it was closed already. Now Im here at noon and the store should be open at 11 per website and it is not.

Ive had 3 different juices from here and they are all pretty bad. Expensive.

This guy uses way too much sucralose in his juice. Ive seen comments about juice being harsh. Its the sugar man. His juice is loaded with it. No wonder this dude is crying about going of business.

Good place to go and get juices, but the people that drive your cars need to learn how to drive. Your driving a billboard not a bumper car.

This is the only spot I will go to for purchasing vape products. Customer service is absolutely wonderful and products are perfect:)
