Lights and photo ops are cool. Drink was horrible, didnt stir whatsoever. Bartender was rude and very unwelcoming. $1 charge on all card purchases and was lectured to bring cash to bars. Not friendly or good drinks.

Liked the club! It was super packed! Music was decent! Drinks were good! People were very rude!.Someone slapped one of my friends in the back of the head but it was so packed we didnt know who did it. I went to the ladies room and two people just jumped on front of me without even acknowledging me at all! Alot of disrespectful college kids and drinking. Alot of the people didnt have any respect what so ever.. you really have to hold your tempwe while there.. but we did like the club over all.. may visit from time to time but it wont because a normal.

Best staff best prices, hottest girls, coldest beer, best Latin night on Thursdays... need I say more

Terrible place. went through security and made good talk with the bouncers. mood completely changed the moment my friend was wearing shorts… SHORTS!?!? he pointed out other women in the building were wearing shorts and asked why he couldn’t wear the same attire and the only thing the bouncer had to say was, “because they’re women.” pathetic place, if that is their policy which mind you this, i have never in my life have heard of such a pointless as well as pathetic policy to make. i wouldn’t go hear if you can’t fit their made up criteria which clearly allows women that can wear whatever before men can be comfortable!

Best bar on The Square hands down. Bartenders are all super nice, the DJs always play good music, the atmosphere is great, and the drinks are cheap. The door guys are also really nice but still make you feel safe while you’re there. Would definitely recommend stopping in before midnight for their $2 drink specials.

Once you’re inside, the vibe is cool, but the bouncers for this club are so rude. It is not even funny. You can clearly be asking them a question and they will turn around and walk the other way. I was literally there, and they yelled at one of my friends mind you this is a dude yelling at a woman which is actually insane. I get this job can be stressful but learn to manage your attitude so you’re not yelling at people like that, because you yell at the wrong person and somebody may give you something to yell about. And it was the ugly white one even the Hispanic ones here who wear the cowboy hats can be rude. So please fix this issue because next time one of those bouncers yell at somebody like that it will be a problem.

This is the only bar that’s OKAY the vibes are great the bartenders and amazing but the music is meh. I love the overall bar but I definitely wish there was more party music and while they have one Latino night a week it’s on a Thursday. Definitely would love some Latino music on Saturday’s please!!!! No it doesn’t have to be all bad bunny but I cannot get down to Justin Bieber and Harry Styles. I hate having to go all the way to Austin for good music PLEASE PLAY BETTER MUSIC it would be a 5/5 then !

Female bartenders are very rude when it’s busy. I asked for a fish bowl and she said “we don’t have fishbowls” and literally immediately walked away to help someone else. Like okay, I think you mean you’re OUT of fish bowls because you definitely serve fish bowls. That’s fine. Walking away immediately though? Extremely rude. I get it, you are trying to be fast and help everyone. But how are you going to assume I don’t know what else I want? Didn’t even give me 0.5 seconds to respond back. Helped 5 other people before coming back to me. Honestly, rudest staff on the square. Ask me if I know what else i want before you walk away. Who raised y’all?

Overly busy packed! Needs to update their music or get better djs. Their playlist is too damn predictable! Prefer the Marc or rooftop. Too many fights as well compared to any other bar in the square. Employees are super rude when reasoning with them and they need to memorize their regulars more! I give this place a one star for sure.

My girlfriend asked for a water after a night out on the square and she was refused by a bartender saying that someone else could take care of her at another bar. He said he was old o enough to be her father.. like okay first of all no you arent. second of all your job is to serve your customer. The manger or owner remained oblivious to an employee of his being capable of acting in such behavior as he kept making excuses. This is an embarrassment to the square. Please spend your money at other places that respect the customers. I would love to continue this conversation with someone at Nephews.Thank you.

Was not even able to go in because of tattoos, I am an artists and this is 2013, now I understand that the reason is for gangs, but you can obviously tell who is not in a gang. Come on people, oh someone could find it offensive Im told, its the state of Texas....which is where your bar is.....which is on a sign next door....are you kidding me? This city is full of its self, get your morals straight people. I would never spend a dime here and Im a business owner in the area, unbelievable.

This place was absolutely terrible. I came into town for one of my friends birthday to celebrate and have a good time, ended up leaving with a creased ID and extremely frustrated. When we first arrived I handed the bouncers my ID and they would not let me in. After demanding that it was real (which it was) they still would not let me in. I understood they had the right to deny me because I was too drunk or if they refused to serve me, but not because I underage. They had no right taking my ID and bending it. The bouncer folded it in half and then two times down the middle absolutely destroying my ID right in front of me. I know this sounds ridiculous but living out of state trying to get a Texas ID take over two months to process. Because of this poorly run business and some jackass bouncer this is going to cause me plenty of headaches down the road.

We were in san marcos for my cousins bachelorette party. There was 13 of us. They put us up in the VIParea gave us champagne and oj. They took such good care of us. Made sure we were having fun the bartenders were accommodating. The manager went above and beyond for us thank you sooo much.

I graduated today okay. I took four family members from New York out with me, feel me? Why tf did the trash DJ play Soulja Boy Superman trash twice? This isnt the only song he played TWICE. Never let him do that mess again. Ruined my graduation night so he can hold this L and know that he is mf trash. Im mad. PLEASE STOP PLAYING EDM

Used to be nice the place to end the night on The Square but the repetitive DJs with old people music. It’s 2018. Get with the times. Also bring back more seating.
