Bliss on Broadway

Sadly, I had a very bad experience. I booked my appointment two months in advance, as these nails were for my wedding. I arrived for my appointment explained that I wanted a fading French. I paid $200 for my manicure and pedicure and they only lasted two days. By the morning of my wedding all my nails had chips in them and I had to redo them hours before the ceremony. Mistakes happen, I thought I should let the business know that their nails did not last and could have ruined my wedding. I honestly thought they’d offer to fix the nails for free, but no. They doubled down that nails should last and min 24 hours after that their nails are susceptible to chips.They suggested I book another appointment and pay for another set. No thanks, I’ll pass on having myself get cut again (which I was never even going to mention!).

Love this nail salon! I usually see mimic, who is fantastic. Today I saw Akiko who was also amazing! Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is very peaceful!

I went today to Bliss on Broadway salon for the first time and I had the best mani-pedi ever! Mimi and Bella are very professional and did an amazing job!! The place is very clean, relaxing and people are friendly .

This place used to be great! I had to stop going after two b2b incidents in a row where the tech cut me or scraped me. The services also became rushed and resulted in quick chipping on gel manicures. After a few years, I decided to try them again since I remembered how great it used to be..and I live across the street. I made an appointment for a gel mani and pedi for the next day. Upon sitting in the chair and putting my feet in the water, I was told that I could only get gel on either hands or feet because my appointment was scheduled incorrectly. The technicians were just like sorry! And everyone just watched me walk out. Considering the salon was packed, it was embarrassing. Truly terrible customer service. Probably a blessing in disguise.

Akiko did my pedi and eyebrow wax and did an absolutely amazing job. High attention to detail and she even put a lot of effort into the leg and foot massage, which is something I feel most places don’t do. I walked out feeling much better! Highly recommend!!

Best pedicure of my life. It was a birthday gift from a dear friend. Treat yourself or a friend and enjoy. Annie was amazing. I will be back.

Very professional and clean place. The ambience was very mellow and chill. I will absolutely be coming back here. My sisters got a massage. I got a pedicure with my other sister and everyone is 100% satisfied no complaints.

I love this place. I dont like the heavy chemical smell of most places, so I drive across town to my old neighborhood. If I had one little tiny complaint its (and I only bring this up because its happened the last two times) when exfoliating my feet and then having me put my feet in the water they exfoliate a little more but scrape the side and top of my feet. And it hurts and the next day I have scabs. Maybe its only one person? Not 100% sure.

LOVE bliss. They’re pricier than some other nail salons but the signature manicure or pedicure comes with a nice quality massage. My nails always look great as well. And the pedicure chairs are massage chairs. The extra price is well worth it IMO.

I’m just going to get right to the point. I got there and the manager was rude. You could see it in her eyes, no smile or anything. Anyway the esthetician Jackie took me to the room. The first problem was there was no place to put your belongings. The second problem was she gave me 2 masks and left each on for like 15 minutes and was in and out of the room. I felt like the whole time I was there I was just laying there with no service. You never leave a client unattended, you learn that in beauty school. The 3rd problem was the massage was half a**ed. Let’s just say it was not worth 90$. The 4th problem is that they are way overpriced for their skills. The facial honestly felt like an esthetician in training. She also left me with soap still on my skin. The 5th problem was when I got to the counter to pay, no one (including the manager) asked how my facial went. Other lady’s that worked there gave me dirty looks that honestly made me uncomfortable. There was no way in he** I was going to tip and I didn’t. Then I left. I do not recommend this place one bit. Bad vibes and way overpriced for the treatment you receive by the staff and their services. :)

Bliss On Broadway is dusty and bug infested.Their lack of cleanliness and zero accountability marred my mothers birthday celebration.Took my mother here for a pedicure and while she is being served by a nail technician she began to experience a bitting sensation that result several welts on her arm and leg.The nail tech was very responsive as she too was being bitten.The manager however was unmoved. She could not care less. And shrugged our complaints off with everyone gets bit at Bliss On Broadway including herself. Disgusting!It would seem their cleaning procedures, during a pandemic no less, is extremely lacking. Stay away!P

For starters…I went in for an oxygen facial to do something special for myself but the technician insulted me into the upsell, something I deeply dislike as a business practice, especially in a place that is supposed to make people feel better about themselves. The overall setting is not luxurious. You’re essentially getting a facial at a nail salon instead of going to a spa that provides nail services. When you go into the back for your treatment, it feels like you entered a storage room at an underfunded middle school. The magnifying mirror didn’t work so she kept the overhead light on to look at my skin, dampening any soothing effects of the atmosphere. They also use a lot of kleenex tissues for some reason: as a poor replacement for eye masks and coverings, to dry your skin, you name it. It feels cheap and less than luxurious. I had to ask the technician twice to be more gentle when she was handling my skin with roughness that resembled an upset gorilla and she started asking, “You can’t handle it?” Overall, she was thorough and the products weren’t bad, but this is a place to send your mother-in-law, not a place to to make yourself feel pampered and special (unless you really enjoy losing $200 while you count down to when you can leave this ugly room to go cry in your car). I’m really upset I spent this much to feel so disappointed.

Bliss on Broadway is the best nail and spa salon in the area. Clean, relaxing and the most friendly staff I’ve ever honestly encountered. Every 2-3 weeks I️ will go, Ivy (manicure) and Akiko (pedicure). These ladies are seriously AMAZING, highly recommended!! They have made my nails look so much healthier. In the 3 years I’ve been going I’ve never had a bad experience and look forward to each appointment. If you’re looking for a new spot, come here, you will not be disappointed. My biggest advice is to make an appointment bc they can get busy. Enjoy!!

Without question, this is the very best pedicure Ive ever experienced. Of course I winced at the price when my daughter suggested I get the All the Way pedicure, but it was the best decision of my week. Half way through I realized I had melted into my chair and by the time Kim finished I decided I never want to got anywhere else again. My feet literally look ten years youngerand the feel bran new 💗 Thanks Kim!

Give yourself or someone you love a special treat with a facial from Jade at Bliss on Broadway. I got the Bliss Facial for $95 and it was soooooo relaxing. The exfoliation was great. The Facial massage was great. The deep moisturization was great. And Jade was so skilled that blackhead removal did not even hurt. I also got the eyebrow tint for $30. Jade did a really great job shaping my eyebrows.

Received a great massage here as well as a phenomenal manicure by Akiko and pedicure - highly recommend this spa!

We just moved to Long Beach and were in desperate need of a pedicure and had been looking for one. We located Bliss on Broadway Spa & Boutique via the web and read the reviews and it sounded like a place to try. We called and were given an appointment same day. We received one of the best pedicures we have had. And we have had our fair share. Akiko is top notch in my book and I will be seeing her again!

Second year in a row that i received a gift certificate for a mani-pedi for my birthday. Last year I explained that I just wanted gel fills and i ended up paying 30 bucks on top of the gift certificate!! Today i went back with my new gift certificate- value 36 dollars- i explained I wanted a pedicure and gel fills. Was told on the phone i would have to pay extra 20- I said okay- while in the chair getting the pedicure I was told by the manager that because i wanted Gel fills and one of the nails had lifted and needed repair my cost would be $45.00- on top of the $36 value of the gift certificate. I said Never mind, got my pedicure (gel unbeknownst to me until it was too late) and which actually cost$37 and left- I will not be back and will have to tell my sons sweet girlfriend to not buy me any more gift certificates to Bliss.

I had not had a massage in a very long time and knew that whomever would have to work on it would have their work cut out for them...was not a problem for the 90 min Therapeutic Massage. I could not tell you the masseuses name, but i could tell you about a bit about her life and that she KNOWS what she is doing.She has been a Masseause for 17 years, and I swear she worked out knots that were older than her career lol.I have a running commentary in my head, so the time can crawl when i am not occupied, but this was never going to be long enough.I swear I am even walking straighter. heh.I will be returning. Without a Doubt.

Akiko and Ivy are a great team. Akiko does an EXCELLENT job on my pedicure and my eyebrows are beautiful. Akiko cares about the health and strength of my nails. My pedicure massage is out of this world and relaxing. Ivy makes my nails beautiful and the massage is wonderful.I highly recommend this dynamic duo. You will have a pleasant experience.

Akiko is a lovely woman who is an expert at giving manicures and pedicures. She is very precise and exact and you leave feeling very happy with the service she provided.

Annie is the best!!! Bliss on Broadway is one of my regular stops for a super experience. Ask for Annie. She does everything top knotch. From nails (she picks out the best colors) to pedicure The full treatment. Wonderful circulatory leg massage. Parafin and the works!!

I feel so at home here. I love the personalized service and expertise of Cindy (therapeutic massage), Ivy (nails) and Jackie (Aesthetician). I am not easily impressed but my repeat visits speak for themselves. You must come to this spa!!

Excellent service. The salon is bright and clean and the work was nicely done. Fair pricing- you can always get it cheaper but is it worth the risk? Not for me, Ill come back to Bliss.

I have been going here for many years. Very clean and cute inside. Akiko takes great care of me and does an excellent job. They also offer facials and massages which are reasonable in cost and very enjoyable!!

Its unfortunate that I just came from Bliss having had a great massage and upon leaving they wouldnt honor the credit I have on file from a left over SpaFinder Gift Certificate I had brought in a few months ago.I was told that a card with my balance was given to me, and I HAD to have that card in order to redeem my left over $75 which I planned on using to pay for my massage today.I KNOW for a fact that a card with my balance was NOT given to me but the not so friendly gal working the front desk insisted I have it. As well I pulled up my SpaFinder Gift Cert on my phone, but they werent having it.So there you have it... a lost customer who was planning on buying the monthly membership package from you. Yep youre missing out a monthly customer who is going to give my money to one of the 50 other spas in Long Beach.Its a shame that you dont put the customer first Bliss with all the competition around you. Hope you enjoyed keeping my $75!

Wonderful spa. Visiting from Indiana and they were all so gracious, professional, and welcoming. Jacqueline gave one of the best massages Ive ever had. Going back for more before I leave.

I have been going to Bliss for years and referred several people, unfortunately the last few times I have made an appointment for a mani/pedi they made me wait for 30-40 minutes before anyone started my nails. My last appointment I walked out and wont be back.

Just had an AMAZING massage! I had a knee replacement and they knew what to do to aid my discomfort. They also do great facials.

Mani/pedis cost more than the strip mall salons, but the gals do a much better job and polish lasts a lot longer.

Cute place and friendly service, however not the best place to get your nails done. I had a dip done and they started lifting after one week 😒

Great atmosphere and the Bliss family are so welcoming and friendly. I can wait to have my Bridesmaids come with me before the big day to have a Spa day!
