If you like great music and great variety, this is your place. Wonderful, atmosphere with an incredible sound system to dance to your hearts content.Their food selection is great, and were not talking bar food. Its definitely a cut above! Delicious food and a great staff make this place rock.
I have not been here since they redid the venue and it is definitely not you expect when you drive into the little shopping mall parking lot. It is gorgeous inside and the food was delicious. How fun to have such a great music venue in North Metro! Lots of free parking and you don’t have to contend with Denver traffic. That’s a win-win for me! I will be back for sure!
I havent had that much fun in years. I had a great time. The music was fabulous. The atmosphere was outstanding and the people were wonderful. Ron Ivory and his band showed out. Great evening!!!I really want to give a huge shout out to Wini who was an amazing waitress!
This place is adorable! Music was great and there was plenty of room for people to dance next to the stage. Our server, Kai, was a joy. He was very attentive, refilled our water a million times, got our custom food orders correct, and had a great personality. He had no issue squatting down in the din light so I could read his lips when I couldnt hear him.Amazing place. Definitely recommend.
We come here several times a year. The food is nice, the beverage offerings varied and the service always attentive! Having a live music venue that not only offers a wonderful variety of different music and isnt overly priced is so appreciated!Although good sized, the owner and the people working here still manage to make Nissis feel personal.
Nissis is one of the best music venues in the Denver/Boulder metro area. They have a very good kitchen and bar but most important is their large stage and dance floor that accommodates large bands and crowds of people. Sound is excellent and so is the lighting. Lots of fun!
Definitely plan to arrive early... parking can be a little hectic. First time at this venue and hearing FACE. The performance was incredible. Lighting and sound was on point. Very large crowd, waiters handled very smoothly. Sipped on my chocolate martini as I listened to these gentlemen. Wonderful experience recommend this venue.
We just love Nissis! The best place for live music, a huge dance floor, and a great variety of bands, even on free nights! Being able to reserve a table is a fantastic upgrade and absolutely worth the cost. The food is good and the staff is awesome. So. Much. Fun.
I come here to see my girlfriend preform with her studio and they always put on a great show. Table service is good and respectable. Atmosphere is great!
Loved Boogie Nights band Friday night... lots of fun... some great costumes... and food is always good...YUMMY!!Just one thing; towards the end of the evening, while we were dancing, someone cleared off all our water [which would have been nice to have after dancing], and they also took my pretzel and dip... I wasnt finished with it... I think food/drink should be left on the table unless the patron says they are finished... 🤷🏼♀️
Nissis is a great live music venue. Thursdays and Fridays typically alternate each week. Wednesday Blues and Thursdays Jazz for free. They also serve good food for dinner.
Great venue for listening and dancing to music. We bought two tickets to see three cover bands. The tickets were for reserved seating, which we really liked. Other options include standing along the sides. Theyre wasnt a line to get in but we showed up a little after the start. We met with the host who confirmed our tickets from his list. I liked that I didnt have to search for our online tickets, as I purchased them quite a while ago. Nissis offers ample free parking. Our walk was about three minutes, so not bad. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our server who handed us menus for both food and drink. We didnt know if food would be served or not so we were pleased to learn drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts were available for purchase. I ordered an old fashioned with house bourbon to drink and I believe it was around $11. I thought it was so so, as it didnt match the description.... There wasnt an orange rind, or a cherry. Later I ordered a mocktail. I asked our server for a recommendation and she suggested the mule. It was $4 and it was absolutely fantastic! In retrospect, I wish I had just gone with them for the evening. We ordered a cheese charcuterie board and we were very pleased. It had three or four different cheeses, walnuts in honey, crackers, a lot of green olives, fig jam, and more. We didnt end up eating it all so it was plenty. The venue is large and we never felt cramped. The lighting was flashy, colorful and well matched with the performers. With three bands there were set changes and we were thankful that they were quick and organized. The server was attentive and helpful. Later in the evening she brought out a dessert menu, then afterwards our check.Overall we had a very pleasurable experience at the new Nissis location. I definitely recommend them for an evening of entertainment.
Fun experience, super nice staff. food was ok, drinks were good. sound from the tribute band was great. will check out their future calendar of events for sure.
Great music (DEF Trio). Comfortable atmosphere for our age group (60+). Young people were very polite, not rowdy. Plenty large dance floor.Hummus plater was very good. Chips were warm, and sweet potato fries were very tasty. Starters were around $13 average.Ky, our waiter, is amazing, attentive, sweet, accommodating, and polite. Will definitely come back for more music and food.
We just had our company Christmas party at Nissis last weekend and we couldnt be happier with the venue, staff, food, drinks, and vibe!! Everything was included which made it super easy, fun, and such a great night. The food was excellent, the band was energetic and engaging. Caitlin was our event planner and went above and beyond to make that night exactly what we wanted, we could not be more impressed with Caitlin and the entire staff at Nissis.
Great venue and top notch service. We came to see Dolls in the Attic and Ten Years Gone. Great show and the sound system was perfect. Were going to a few more shows there in the near future.
Just started going there really nice place and open lots of seating, great stage, great sound system what Ive seen the bands love it too. The two shows Ive been to so far the crowds are absolutely amazing.
Went to see Free Fallin atom Petty tribute band. They were excellent. Service was great.
Clean, modern venue for solid cover bands and local musicians. Options for low or high tables, or siderail seating. Large dance floor.Food is good; it is possibly fancier than necessary for my tastes, but all my guests have been impressed with the food options and presentation. Drinks are pricier than a bar, but far more reasonable than other venues such as Boulder Theater.Ticket prices reasonable at $20-$25 each for the concerts Ive attended.Large, clean, accessible restrooms.Plenty of on-site parking for free. This has consistently been one of the best value for your dollar music venues that Ive frequented in the north Denver / Boulder area.
Nissis is a fantastic venue! Went here for a private event and for 80s vs 90s night. The atmosphere is great and good selection of drinks and food. We will be coming back here again for sure.
I wanted to extend my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Alisha and her coworker during my visit to the event center last night. They demonstrated remarkable attentiveness to all guests, including myself, offering great recommendations that def enhanced my experience. Notably, Alisha thoughtfully informed me of upcoming events she thought Id be most interested in, after I shared with her that it was my first visit to the venue. Her proactive approach contributed significantly to making my night more enjoyable. Please relay my gratitude to Alisha for her exceptional service. Such dedication undoubtedly reflects positively on the standards upheld by Nissis.Thank you once again for ensuring a memorable experience, and I look forward to future visits.
Excellent communication by the venue through messenger. Its a great venue, great sound and I had a blast. The food was also great. The one drawback is that the general admission tables are obstructed views so make sure to get a reserved table if possible!
We LOVE Nissis! What a great venue for music and dancing! We love that we can reserve a table and have food served. We also love that we can just pop in to free nights. The dance floor is huge, the sound is great, and there is an incredible variety of performers. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Whats not to love?
Fun concert venue. Always a good time. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Excellent cocktails.
I feel like a fool not knowing of the existence of this place. My buddy invited me to see Hamilton Loomis who did not suck. Great guitar player, tight three piece, good vocals all washed down with a tall vodka tonic :) What a great venue!
Awesome food. Great staff, and the best place to see top notch entertainment in Boulder County!
Recently enjoyed the Make me smile tribute to Chicago. Band was excellent and covered the music of our favorite band. Will look for future tribute bands
Great little venue! Nice acoustics, good drinks. We only saw our server 2 times during the show. 1 greet, 1 drink refill, 1 time to pay bill. The Eagles tribute band that didnt play a single eagles song was disappointing. They played obscure covers that nobody knew. Not a great enough band to be able to play unknown songs for the masses. Stick with what youre known for, not random Rush love songs and songs that only the band knows
Nissis has become my favorite place to enjoy live music. Very good food. Staff is always smiling and making the experience even better. Seeing Citizen Dan there, again, always makes it even better. New parking lot makes the parking no longer a nightmare. A+++ all around.
Saw a Chicago cover band here. Great venue. A bit loud but I am old...😃 Enjoyed this place and will be back.
I would give this place 5 stars for the decent acoustics and dance floor space, but the food and drink were way over priced for a venue that hosts a lot of local and cover bands. Other similar venues that serve regular dinner are closer to restaurant pricing and have better quality food. I would recommend this place for the entertainment, but I will be eating dinner beforehand. **Update** New years Eve dinner, food was slightly better but no worth the $125 per person cost for music and dinner.
In the 19 yrs of living near Lafayette, this was our first time here to see Hey, Lady!, Double Life, and Devil INXSide for an 80s night. Clean venue, perfect acoustics, and very glad we got the reserved seating. Servers and all staff were friendly and professional. The bands were awesome and the crowd was great.Only a couple of downsides- parking (got there 35 minutes prior to show start and had to park on a side street behind the venue), and menu for food items were a little on the pricey side. Did not know we would be charged extra for a local whiskey cocktail, but will know now for next time.We look forward to returning for another concert night or event.
Nissis is a terrific spot to enjoy live music with good food & drinks too:) We go at least once/month to dance. Loved the Tony Luke Band band last night, but concur with a previous review that the music volume was INSANE- we plugged our ears and had to leave after one drink. If the decibel level is dangerously high, it is injurious to patrons, staff & musicians. Take it DOWN several notches, please!
Fun place! We had dinner before the show, the food was extremely good, so was the service. Ive always loved going to Nissis, their new location is perfect. Going again soon to see Randall Dubis and his band.
A super fun place with great food and fun staff. We will definitely go back soon!!
Great local music venue. Good sound. Not too loud. Good variety of entertainment. Affordable.
Great experience at Nissi’s last night (love the layout - reserved seats and space to dance, helpful servers, all great!). Special shout out to Maddie and the front of house/customer team for helping us with a very specific request!
Great venue! Good food and very attentive waitstaff. Nice dancefloor. Will go again!
Nissis always delivers a break from the week!!! Great music, great food - even a couple gluten free options! Had a wonderful time!
We used Nissis Event Center for our Back to the 80s holiday party, and also used That Eighties Band to provide the 80s vibe entertainment. What a fun venue and band! Everyone had an amazing time and the staff at Nissis provided excellent service from the setup of the venue, to lighting, to the bar service and food/service. Everything was amazing. Nissis is a great place to host your event. Give Marc a call to get your next event (no matter what it is celebrating), you cant go wrong!
Bourbon & Blues Wednesdays must surely be among the best local entertainment values. Tip well! Lionel Young, who I recently first heard live with Mad Dog Blues, drew me out. He wrapped himself around the violin and the band took us to Memphis and beyond. Nissis acoustics and atmosphere are superlative.
Weve been to this location twice now and love it! Great ambience wait staff is very attentive. We saw The Samples and Lantern By Sea and it was some of the best live music weve heard. Well go back often! And hope those two bands come back. :)
Very nice music and event venue, with a pretty good menu and a nice wine list. It was our first time here, but it does have a regular following. I will definitely watch the list of shows and come back again - only Ill plan on eating there this time!
This was by far my favorite show since I started following the Hillbilly Demons.1) both bands? Fantastic!2) venue? Fantastic!3) food? Delicious!4) drinks? Not sure since I only had a soda and a tea, but my cousin loved her drinks.I would come here again.
Watched a great band and had dinner. Great place to listen to music and dance if yoy like. Food was ehhh
Great venue!! Yummy food too!
I enjoyed this venue a lot! The Blues Circus was an excellent show and the service and drinks was also very good. 4 stars because the appetizers purchased were average. I would definitely return for future shows.
Nice venue. We had a very nice evening here.
The venue is much better and the location is closer to my Broomfield home. We had fun listening to the live band Wink. The large screens are nice to see what entertainment is coming. The server (Josh) was very nice, polite and did a great job. Nice dance floor and high top tables.
Update: Went last night to see Kalimba, an Earth Wind & Fire cover band. They were really good and my wife who love Earth Wind & Fire was singing and dancing to the great music. As wed eaten before getting there, we just ordered drinks and eventually the Zucchini strips, molten lava cake, and cheesecake. All were delicious and well prepared. Apparently the kitchen issues have been worked out. It was less crowded, which probably helped and our server was great. As mentioned below, my wife approached the manager about their offer, and they talked for quite a while. Although we didnt ask, they comped our food items. Based upon the changes we saw and their responsiveness, Ive updated this review.Previous review: Really wanted to like Nissis but was a bit disappointed. The venue was crowded but the bands were good. It was the food that was mediocre. Had the Artesian Cheese Plate and was disappointed. No fig compote, no honey, in fact nothing sweet. The only fruit was a single strawberry and a thin slice of melon that had only part of the rind removed.
Omg. Love this place. The music is great. Kalimba last night was spot on sounding exactly like Earth, Wind&Fire. There is a big dance floor and lots of people were dancing. The wait staff checked on us regularly and brought drinks and food promptly. We had delicious late night food and desserts. This place has it all...Great music, attentive, friendly waitstaff, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. This is a terrific entertainment venue.
The venue is awesome! Drinks were a bit on the pricey side but when youve got live music it is worth it to us. We went on the 3rd Thursday, which was Dueling Piano night and had a great time. We will definitely be going back and shout out to Glenn at the bar!
Nice open space, small dance floor but lots of seating. Sound was good
Wonderful laid back venue. Fun atmosphere. Delicious dinner, good wine selection. Waitstaff is exceptional. And the live music is excellent, its really nice that we can sit down while we enjoy the show. 2 thumbs up!
Why does such a nice place exist this far North of Denver, depending on where you live. One of the nicer venues Ive been to in a long time. Comfortable, relaxed, friendly. Not that other places arent all that. It must be the elbow room. I like my personal space. Much more than a bar menu. Nissis could stand alone just with their restaurant. A decent wine and beer list for the casual for the non-snob and maybe one or two for them too. Plenty, plenty of soft drinks for all the soft drinkers. If I lived closer this would be a go-to for good music. Tonight, no cover, no tickets, no reservations, no minimums. So logically no hesitation coming. The food cost is borderline $$$. Eat at Burger King or here. Really! RD
The new location (post-covid) is large and has a very nice setup for live music. It has a nice stage and dance area. Tables closest to the kitchen and bar can get some extra noise, which can be important if some of the music is quiet. Nissis entrance can be hard to find; Nissis is in the same building as Orange Theory Fitness, but its entrance is on the west side, facing 287.
Great venue and variety of music genres. Food and service were very good. We had a fantastic evening!
Pretty good venue. Lovely show. Wonderful venue with sounds and lighting. Food was a bit overpriced for what you got.
This place is rapidly becoming our go to spot for live music. Solid menu options, great sight lines, and an excellent sound system. Seating is well-spaced, plus its a great crowd.
One of MM8TRs favorite places to perform, Marc has created an awesome venue for Music Fans and the Bands that perform here! Great food, Great Drinks... a night youll remember. Bravo! Go to Nissis and see a show!
This venue has a nice atmosphere--a great place for a dinner date, dancing, or a fun evening with friends. However, thats only when they stick to reserved seating. Beware of evenings when they open it up for both reserved and general admission tickets; that’s when the atmosphere changes from classy to overly crowded and claustrophobic. The food is good but not great. There aren’t very many entree choices and each of them is on the pricey side for the portion size. Drinks are also on the expensive side. However, the deserts are exceptionally good and the sweet potato fries get a thumbs up. Wait staff are very pleasant, but the owner can be difficult.
Great place to have an intimate evening with great music, fun people, and great service. My wife had been here before, this was my first time. I liked the layout. Bar in the front for socializing, seats, tables, and stage in the back portion. There is a large section quartered off for dancing. Let me tell you, this is full most of the time. There is a second bar in the rear of the seated area. While here, this was reserved for a party. They had a great time. We also had a quick bite. I had a burger, wife had scallops. Both tasted great. Shared a bottle of wine recommended by the waitress. She was great. We will be back for some more great music and fun times!
Good band (6 million dollar band), good service. Food looked good but cant speak to from personal experience.
New Nissis. Great time in Lafayette. Caught Ryan Chrys and the Rough Cuts. Great time as usual. Comfortable tables and table service. Good drinks. Good menu looks good though we didn’t eat. Very nice clean place, excellent sound. Ryan crushed it as usual.
Great evening listening to Jazz music by Nelson Rangell and his friends. Great location, plenty of parking, food and wine were good. A very enjoyable experience, I will come back again soon.
Always a fun time, staff is great love the new venue. Menu is a bit pricey and a little limited but everything weve had has been good.
I had a surprise birthday party for my husband on a Saturday afternoon at Nissis. It was a great venue for the event, and Mark, the owner and the staff were very helpful. Mark had some good suggestions about the event. He came early so I could put up decorations. The screens around the facility were great for a picture show of the honoree. We only had about 30 people, so we had plenty of space. People were wowed by this venue. Thanks Nissis!
We were looking forward to trying out Nissis new locale, since we enjoyed the old locale, but now were not so sure.PROS:1.Nice to have a local venue for smaller shows.CONS:1.Temperatuee is set to make the wait staff comfy. Audience members, sitting in place for a couple of hours, are cold.2.Food needs an upgrade.Bacon wrapped shrimp is mediocre. Charcuterie tray features cheap deli meats that taste off.Chicken strips are horrid and the fries should stay in the bag that they came in.Cheesecake and Chocolate Lava are negligible.3.Staff is slow and unobservant. Our table was so full of plates so that we couldnt even move them aside to help a waiter drop off another menu item. We finally just started clearing our own plates to one of the back tables.4. Sound. Was hard to decipher when the artist was talking.
My husband and I have attended numerous shows over the past several years and Nississ is by far our favorite music venue for live music in Boulder County!. All of the bands are very professional and highly talented. We love the remodel and the larger dance floor. The food is always excellent and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is uplifting and fun - always a good time! The staff and owner are always accommodating, pleasant and professional. We highly recommend Nissis!
This place is awesome.... a nice club atmosphere! It remains cool, even with lots of hard dancing. Big dance floor, lovely atmosphere, big stage. Honestly, I wasnt fan of the old place, but so pleased with the new location.
Great entertainment venue serving good quality food! I wish the stage is a bit higher, as people standing and dancing block our view of the stage.
I love the layout 🤗 plenty room to dance. Never eaten there but food looked good! There tonight for Lionel Young Band 🤩 Enjoy your Free Venues!💯🥳
Great new location and venue for Nissi’s. The service is great and the food very good. And, of course, it is a great place to dance!
I was super impressed with the size and sound. Great venue. The food was not great (no flavor) and the Long Island Iced Tea tasted terrible. The music was great but they need to improve their food & drinks.
We always have a great time here and its quite affordable. Housewine is only $6 and higher quality wines are about $10. We listened to Nelson Rangell and certainly will return to hear him again.
Nissis is always fun. Theres a lively crowd of elderly people who dance and have a great time. The food is fine. The music is always good. My only complaint is the water. It is horrible. It is full of chemical flavors and odors. Avoid it by buying their bottled water or drink some beer. Our friends got married there and it was great. They have a nice outdoor event space and the catering was just fine.
I have not been this year, due to, you know. The Covid. Its been a rough year for most all of the businesses such as Nissis. I have been here several times over the last few years to see and hear my friends who play and sing and to take guests with me because it is such a great venue. I took my daughter here to hear FACE. And they are an entertaining group. I pray and hope you can reopen soon. I am certain all of your patrons are missing you! Good food, drinks and always a good time.
Nissis 2.0 is quite the upgrade over the original!! A huge stage and a very large dance floor make for an up close experience of your favorite local bands. No drama here, just a place to hang loose.
This place is amazing! I came here about 4 weeks ago with my boyfriend and we danced to some oldies! My food was great (I got the fajitas). However, Im only giving it 4 stars. I was here tonight, and the music was way too loud for my ears - vibrations running through my body, and the food I got this time (the steak with vegetables and fries on the ride) was way too chewy, tasteless (except for the fries) and there was more fat than meat. In my opinion, it wasnt worth the $14.
This feels like an upscale jazz bar in New Orleans, but safe and clean. Theres always something new and its a great venue for local musicians - very cozy, but you can have a good time on the dance floor. As for the food, I only eat salads, and theirs are so good and unique that sometimes I get one to go even though I dont have time to stay for music. Friendly bartender, too!
I went the first time to watch my student performing with his School Band and got impressed ! It is such a nice performance space with a drink menu that doesn’t disappoint.
This is the best place for mature adults to listen to music in Boulder County! Otherwise, your choice is to go rub shoulders with the college kids... now you know the difference! The music selection varies so that every taste is represented throughout any month. I particularly like it when they have 80s bands play. You can reserve a table and order food. That gives you a place to hold your things while you shake it on the dance floor with your friends... VERY FUN and very local. We come here for a night of dancing, or to enjoy the bar out front. Note that if you come to the bar out front you dont pay the cover... but you dont get the dance floor either!
We had our office holiday party at Nissis this year and it was a wonderful experience. The owner responds very quickly and helps to make sure every detail of the event is perfect. The food was great, the staff were really nice, and the service cant be beat. Id definitely recommend booking this venue for your next event!
Beautiful venue! Great sound! Love how every seat in the house is awesome! We had a very nice waitress but the food was just ok.
We went for a 40th birthday party and some 80s cover band performed. The band and their singers were very talented. We were the youngest group there (30s & 40s) but everyone was super friendly and nice. We didnt eat but the drinks were good
Very nice place tent of staff and the band this night was very good
Great ownership team of Marc, Reed and Craig
Great live music and free admission on Wednesdays for blues dancing!New location, lots more space.I just wish the music wasnt so loud: makes my ears ring afterwards.
Absolutely one of the best local venues Ive been to in a long time. The space was planned out well and the menu was better than I had anticipated.
Great venue! Fun band and general admission seating was great and close!! Reasonable drink prices and good food options!
We had so much fun! Nice, clean venue. Staff is friendly and efficient. The food and drinks are good (although overpriced). Great entertainment !
First time there. Walked in and the staff all had smiles and friendly. Food and service was great. They had a band called counter fit band. They were wonderful, interacted with the crowd. Good music with verity. Dance floor was packed most of the night.
Fun place great bands and very eclectic atmosphere. The staff was very helpful from finding our table to food and drinks.
We recently had my daughters wedding and dinner at Nissis with 130 guests. The venue was perfect for a relaxed, fun evening. Mark was helpful planning our even and so easy to work with. The food was great.
Nissi’s is one our favorite places to hear live music! The club showcases local, talented musicians from the up-and-coming bands to those with a Colorado-and-beyond presence. Music lovers can enjoy a variety of styles, depending on your personal preferences, including blues, jazz, pop, rock, and r&b. This is not a typical bar; shows start early and the volume is controlled. You can sit enjoy the music at your candle-lit table or dance all night long. In addition, Nissi’s menu offers a variety of delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts as well as wines, beers and specialty cocktails to suit your tastes. This is a jewel in the heart of Lafayette! Celebrate a special occasion with a loved one or group of friends, or make Nissi’s a regular stop most any night of the week.
Probably one of the best venues for great entertainment!
As a venue it is wonderful! We always have a great time and amazing service.
I have to say WOW this venue is amazing our server was the best and the band, bands were amazing especially ninetys%90’s will be following them. Thank you all such a great staff
Ever since they renovated 4 or 5 years ago, its a great place for your function, wedding, or to see an intimate show. Marc, the owner, is a super cool dude. Very personable, and cares about the customers.
Excellent establishment for live music. You know youre in good hands when Glen greets you upon entering. Not only does he make it a great night he makes fantastic cocktails!
Love Nissis. Where adults over 30 can go and have a great time.
Nissis offers some of the best local entertainment. The food is much better than the average bar food and the were on point. We enjoy the times with family vs the college bars in Boulder.
Upscale and fun. NOT your boring restaurant and NOT a dirty venue. Great for big parties or a date. Because the venue/restaurant is atypical have a good attitude because it gets really busy and high energy.
Tons of great bands, high energy, and lots of fun to be had at Nissis. This place is intended to offer quality entertainment, light fare and tasty drinks! It is super reasonably priced and the main selling point is certainly the atmosphere and good music. The food is tasty but you have to know what to order...my suggestions:goat cheese salad (perfect size app)steak salad (light but satiating)shrimp franchesco (perfectly cooked shrimp and buttery/winey goodness)stuffed mushrooms (filling but easy to eat a few and then boogie)warm beet and sweet potato stacks (dont have to be a vegetarian to like this one)tenderloin (order rare)Another tip - be laid back about when your food arrives, if you tell them to just bring it out once its ready, then your food will be fresh, hot and tasty. This place isnt a fancy shmancy sit down restaurant where you can demand perfect timing and coordination - the point is to eat, dance, drink and be merry - but it is classy, so no jeans ;)I have been to this place tons over the past two years and you can feel the love from the staff and owner - its definitely a great and different way to spend a weekend night or even week night out with a group of people or even just your significant other! Depending on the band playing, some nights are really mellow and its lovely to simply order a bottle of wine and a couple of desserts to share.I will continue to go here and hope that others find the same appreciation for this unique spot!Cheers
Owners have done a great job of converting the old theater in Lafayette. Good food and drinks and wait staff are very attentive.
Music was great, had plenty of places to sit, room to dance, service was pretty good.
Great venue and service! Perfect size to enjoy live music.
A fun place to listen to some music. Our 20something waiter was jamming all night to Heart and Journey music.
Its a good venue for seeing live music but the food quality was a dissapointment. Id expect a pretty good burger for $12, it was over-done, dry, no where near the quality or size of a burger at Oskar Blues or The Pumphouse in Longmont. Fries were shoestring fries. :-( Ill go back for the entertainment but will be eating dinner elsewhere.
Beautiful venue, great stage and sound man, James. Yummy food, salads, homemade humas . Nice staff
Nissis is a great place to go for date night, a girls night out, or any special occasion. They bring in a good variety of musical acts, so theres something for everyone. The scene is unpretentious and welcoming; I have made good friends there. And the shrimp franchesco is to die for! My only criticism is that the dance floor is a bit small to accomodate big crowds, but thats a problem only occasionally. Theres no place Id rather go for a fun night out!
Excellent entertainment! Dinner was pricey. 1 burger, appetizer, 4 mixed drinks was almost $70.00... our server was very good!
4 of us went for a FACE appearance in May. Venue is ok, pretty basic. Our issue was food. We were really hungry. 2 out of 4 meals were terrible. Let me say it was a full house but we were one of the first to get our food order in. Nissis house burger requested med. I think the hamburger patty was from the night before. Pre cooked, dry, over done by a mile. Cold fries. 2nd meal chicken parm. Chicken as tough as nails dry overdone. Pasta over cooked as well. All tasteless. The crowning issue for the night was the condescending attitude of the waitress. Sent the burger back yet she still wanted to charge the full $14 for the meal. Alcoholic drinks were small, watered down, and overpriced. There was a very large table next to us probably 15 plus people from 1 family. They had several main course food issues as well sending several plates back and long heated discussions with their server. This place tries to play good food and service and they fall so short. Would not recommend.
A great fun venue. Much better food than youd expect. A very friendly staff. I love it when Citizen Dan play there. The place comes alive.
Venue is fun. I recommend dinner anywhere else nearby though. The food isnt great but the price would suggest different.
Good Entertainment, Good food and the staff were very friendly. I will be back and let my friends know about Nissis
Great venue! Good menu, friendly staff, dance floor, love the bands they bring in
Such a cool spot. Saw Lionel Young Band and they killed it! Everyone on the dance floor and good vibes. Also ate dinner there and the food was on point and reasonably priced.
First time ever coming here! Saw the Jersey boys and I absolutely loved it!!!! Had an amazing time, great food, and got to dance with my girlfriend! I love this place, and am looking forward to visiting again!
The new space is beautiful. Very cool vibe and the sound was great! Looking forward to attending more shows in the future. Highly recommend!
Attended professional luncheon meeting. Buffet lunch was great with salmon, chicken picatta, tofu stir fry, vegetables, salad, brownies and cookies. Staff is always friendly and provide excellent service.
The music is good, but way too loud! I use my credit card to get into the place which was $12. And after I got my statement they charged me $13.02. Go figure. Next time I pay cash!
Private party, great venue and food. The dance floor was rockn
Love this venue. Good food, dance music, great service. Great for people who like to dine and dance and get home early enough to get up for work the next morning.
Great venue. Enjoyed the food and wonderful entertainment. Will follow and plan another visit soon.
Great music venue with surprisingly excellent food. Service and prices match music and food.
Great bands, wonderful food, and gracious staff. Will definitely visit again!
Great food, good prices and a whole lotta dancin fun with good peeps! We saw The Nacho Men (Great Band) and the venue was so accommodating! Well be back (soon) for more!
This is a nice venue for special events. Nice sound and light systems with techs that know how to operate.
We love this place. Only thing not 100% positive is the menu is getting old. We have tried everything and its good but hope to see an update in the future.
Great small venue to see musical acts. Love to see Nelson Rangell play jazz on the last Wednesday of each month. So good!
Weve been here about 5 times & we LOVE it! Great music, fun relaxed atmosphere, food is yummy (particularily their sweet potato fries) & such a nice staff. 😉
Do I have to give it One Star? We went to Nissis for a show on Saturday night.-1st Star) The staff in the lobby ie: the bartender, some guy who worked there - maybe a manager, and hostess were incredibly rude right off the bat. The hostess looked at her table list and insisted our name was not on it...... until I pointed it out. Then when she escorted us to our table (with attitude) she told us that this was the only place we were allowed to sit.-2nd Star) The food was very expensive for such mediocre quality.-3rd Star) Our wait person came to our table once to take our order and we didnt see him the rest of the evening. Our dirty plates sat in front of us for 20 minutes until we asked a busser to take them away.-4th Star) When we went to take care of our tab at the bar, the bartender felt the need to give us a hard time about the fact that she had been looking for us for 15 minutes to take care of the tab ...... while the show was going on?!I guess other people have had good experiences at Nissis, I, on the other hand, will not be going back anytime soon.
Nice show was put on that night, food not that great, if I go again will eat before
Good venue to listen to love music to, bar selection is good too
Went for the first time and saw Knot Rock. Great band. Not too big. Super friendly staff. Fun. What a great find in Lafayette.
Nice small entertainment venue, much improved with the expansion. Reasonably priced good food (limited menu), great staff, excellent sound, lights, production values.
Great venue. Nice decor and excellent sound.Good food and drinks selection.
Great music venue! Drinks are pricey but the service was great!
What a great place to see live music! Highly recommended 👌

Really had a great time enjoying the Elton John cover band. Dinner was surprisingly good and well definitely be back again!
Great food, great staff, and clean. The acoustics are great.
Wonderful food, Excellent service, fantastic experience all around!
Music was good but my salmon was totally burnt in one side. Food is not great and drinks are nothing more than OK.
Great local place. Albeit flashy with some cheesy 80s elements, fantastic service and decent prices for drinks.
Great entertainment, really outstanding gourmet food at reasonable prices, and a wonderful, warm cozy environment. Excellent, friendly service, and the best sound man in the business.
Great Venue! Very cool looking inside, and the sound was great. Cant wait to go there again.
My favorite indoor music venue! Always good bands. Attentive staff. Clean. Well run.
Wow! Looks amazing with the new inside renovations. Great space with really tall Ceilings!
I was performing, not partaking of the culinary fare, but I love a place that you can come in, enjoy a meal while listening to great music!
Awesome venue! Decent menu of food, desserts, and drinks to choose from.
A great night out with good food at a fair price and fabulous music! Nelson Rangell and his other musicians were incredible!

Eighties bands are the best!
Gr8 venue.Club Layout kinda like a comedy club but way more room.Probably a Gr8 space to hold an event. The band was awesome.

Fabulous food and had a great St. Patricks night fun event.
Delicious, fast, exceptional. You will not be disappointed!
Great place for dance, light dining, meeting friends, and an excellent music venue. Cozy, yet open, and elegantly casual.
Music is so loud you cannot enjoy the many good bands
Venue is fine, until you have someones dancing butt in your face while you try and eat. Wish they would rethink the set up.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The food was out of this world and the entertainment was top notch. I would definitely return to Nissi’s.
Such a fun venue. Great band, Stones/Beatles Tribute band. A dance down memory lane.
Good service, plenty of help. Our server -waitress Winny always prompt.
Great venue! Just pricy... a few cocktails and onion rings, $87 (including gratuity)
Fun place to dance and eat. Live music with occasional cover charge. Super friendly bartender.
The Jerseys are the best!!
We went last night for The Last Men on Earth and left about 6 songs in. Terrible set list, terrible sound engineering.
Great venue. Food is good, service is good and music is outstanding. Highly recommended!
Very nice venue, but $9 beers? Yikes
Went there to watch Wash Park and it was all around a great experience. Great food... Great entertainment. Server was friendly and professional.
I saw Funk knuf here and they were awesome. Good venue. Good food!
Great place to listen to live music and dance.
